I stayed last night at the red roof maumee and the air didnt work or my toilet and they wouldnt give me a new room I played 100 dollars and were hot sweating all night I'm going to report this to the bbb windows didnt open it was terrible and most deffinitly a code violation.

Literally walk into our room and saw bugs everywhere and now they won’t give our money back what a waste of time and money just know I’m disappointed asf with y’all.

Cold room thin blankets heaters don’t work.

Clean, inexpensive motel right off the Ohio Turnpike. A grocery store is right across the street, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There is a restaurant right next door to the motel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the king-size bed was very comfortable, and you can park right outside your door.

Nice clean rooms, well lit parking lot, bathroom in our room was the smallest room I've seen next to a coat closet. Had to straddle the toilet to open the door, forget about getting dressed or undressed in it… impossible. Toilets in other rooms may be different. Overall it was a good stay for a good price.

The place is great if all you need is a bed and bathroom. $56 for the night, people are kind enough, rooms are clean but we got put right by a set of double doors meant to stay open that blocked the entry to our door. Not a big issue, but a funny mishap.

My first room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke even though it was non-smoking. They were able to move me to a different room which still smelled of smoke but was more bearable. The room was clean enough. Loud sounds from main road throughout night.

Staff here is so kind. From the gentleman who checked us in at midnight to the ladies who let me wait on my ride for 2 hours in the lobby and had pleasant conversation with me, told me all about the neighborhood etc, my stay was beyond expectations. Sure, free breakfast would be great, but checking out at noon was more important to me! The room was superclean, 100% guaranteed nonsmoking, and it was. No, it’s not a new building but the bed was comfortable, the sheets fresh, the shower hot with a great stream, the room cooled perfect and the TV a good size. The price we paid was great, and the location is awesome, so close to all restaurants, right in front of an antique mall, and less than 20 mins away from The Huntington Center where we saw a concert. Very Clean an Friendly Staff & Pet Friendly! Highly recommended! However no pool one cup in room for coffee pot but double full size beds… wouldnt than mean more than one person drinking coffee an showering? My only complaint… at least stock rooms with two full sized beds with enough linen an cups for the number of beds in it… just a thought! Otherwise very satisfied with this red roof inn.

Not bad for a motel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Area has grocery stores, restaurants, parks and mini golf.

Great room for the price. Room could of been a little cleaner, but not horrible. Room inside looked better than hotels outside. Friendly staff.

Rude desk, no directions to room, police in parking lot upon arrival. Round small toilet seat in oval toilet, crushed sheets (were they clean? ) bedspread Dirty (definitely not clean) hallway smelled like smoke even though listed as no smoking, hairdryer only in superior rooms, give me a break!

Everything you need, nothing you don't, and the price is right. Clean room, coffee, free Wi-Fi. Easy access to the Ohio Turnpike. Can't beat it!

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff. This Red Roof far surpasses a majority of the Red Roofs we have stayed in nationwide including other comparable economy hotels, this speaks highly of the management and staff. Only complaints would be very limited TV channels for viewing enjoyment, and the bathroom is very tiny. Overall a very pleasant stay. ☺

So far, Maumee Red Roof Inn is by far superior to all surrounding Red Roof Inns. Highlights bathroom nicer than expected. Refrigerator decent size and clean. Checked in without delay. Friendly greeting and a delicious cookie. My one notable complaint dirty pillows and headboard. When I called front desk to get replaced, I recieved two pillowcases to change myself. Underneath pillow it was still dirty.

Maumee/Toledo red roof, room are remodeled, nice rooms, free coffee and Wi-Fi.

Room nicer than expected, but I couldn't keep the light out of the room, so it was difficult to sleep.

I love Red Roof Inn. This one is a little grungier than others but it's still a great deal over other budget options.

Not bad, stayed at a few red roofs. This one is updated, so it is nicer than the others.

The inn is the old style. The lobby is unmarked. We had a hard time even finding it. The clerk was very unhelpful. Would not recommend staying there. In fact, there were very few guests.

The stench of cigarettes in every hall and Abedroom is unbearable, it made my son throw up, my daughter couldn't sleep and I got a bad headache. It made the whole night Unconfortable. The rest was fine.

Stayed here for one night on a cross-country move from Colorado to Connecticut. Plenty of room in the parking lot for our truck, the check-in host was very friendly, and the location was just off the highway, making it convenient without being too noisy. And did I mention they're dog friendly?! Such a huge bonus. Our room was spotless — I'm not sure what happened with other reviewer's stays, but whoever is the housekeeper for our room was amazing. I've stayed in far more expensive hotels that were a lot less appealing than this one. Our sheets were clean, there were no stains on the bed or pillows, and definitely no bugs (I'm compulsive about checking). The only problem I could see in the room was that there was a small bit of the floorboard coming off behind the bedside table; but really, who's really going to be bothered by that? The bed was super comfortable and the shower was hot, clean, and had nice pressure. The curtains were thick enough to block out the light entirely, and I couldn't hear the highway traffic at all. The AC worked very well, and the room was soon cold. We had a room on the second floor, which meant an inside door, which I highly recommend. I only removed a star here for the small floorboard repair needed, the dated hallway carpet and comforters, and the thin nature of the doors; I could hear everyone coming in and out of their rooms and talking in the hall. Luckily, people were pretty quiet during our one-night stay.

Another good stay will red roof inn. We always spend the extra 10$ for the superior king room. Pet friendly (with no pet fee) always a plus. It's not a hilton or marriot, and the price is fair.

Everything was adequate. It was clean reasonably priced and the staff was courteous. Room was dated with no carpet. Lighting did not make it feel warm. Other than that, just fine.

Great morning staff. Extremely helpful and friendly. Place is clean and safe. Close to tons of food, shopping and river. Awesome stay over stop for me.

Clean bed, nice avitacion. I'll stay another night when I'll be out of bed in this area.

He was very rich, and very crooked.

This is a temporary 1. They choose profits over closing a few rooms overnight and put me in the middle of a construction zone. I had to walk over open boxes and navigate the tools. Plus deal with the noise until a little after 9 pm. The contractors were very polite but management's decision did not have my best interest in mind. The upgrades are nice but don't put customers in the middle of it!

Renovated room. Very nice and clean. Quiet. Good water pressure in shower. Flat screen tv.

The water was a wee bit dirty, reddish rather. Comfy beds, next to a bbq place if you're hungry. Expensive sinks. Good water pressure and hot water. Plenty of large truck parking as there is a lot near. Avg 49 a night. So can find grand deals.

Management was nice and I was able to book quickly. The room was also clean and neat. Only problem was the Internet was not fast or reliable enough to stream high quality video, only music.

The room was clean and the staff was pleasant to deal with. Only complaint is the room keys didn't work at first and after the key were reswiped only one of two actual worked.

Clean, easy access from the turnpike, and good prices. If you're looking for a place to comfortably crash for a night, you'll find that right here. Took off a star due to the price on the sign ($49/night) not being available despite an almost empty parking lot.

Very clean, and beautiful room. For the price I couldn't have stayed anyplace better. They accommodated both my pets no problem, and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay, you are now my go to place for traveling home to see family!

We had 2 rooms here for about a month and a half. During a moving process… We had no issues staying here. Everyone was friendly and the rooms are remodled. They are beautiful and cosy. Would not have had a better stay at another red roof inn. Thank you for a good experience!

Clean, dogs stay free, inexpensive, comfortable beds. Now if only the other dog owners would just pick after their dogs!

Bed bugs … stayed in room 221 manager was rude… the staff was nice but wrote a letter to yhe manager full of lies go to a better hotel.

My experience at the Red Roof Inn in Maumee was very good. The room was spacious and very clean with nice amenities. The sign advertised rooms for $44.99 and up but it was impossible to get a room anywhere near this price. But I was quite happy with my room and nice people at the reception. It is really nice to have a hotel chain that accepts pets.

Great for what we needed. We were just driving through. Clean place to sleep with a working shower and a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly.

The room is appropriate for the price. It's clean, heat was on when I got here, and it didn't smell like dogs as a lot of pet friendly places do. I have two cats with me and they seem to be comfortable. My one complaint is that underneath the bed is not blocked off, so herding the cats in the morning is going to be interesting. Otherwise, so far it's been pretty quiet, and the receptionist was very nice and helpful with finding a place to eat.

Peaceful atmosphere rooms clean and staff very pleasant.

I was happy with the polite staff and clean room. AC was already on. No fridge or micro. Tube TV. A family was making a racket playing with balls in front of my door and woke me from a dead sleep, which is usually impossible to do. Another family was doing similar bs when I checked in. So I would disagree with "quiet. ".

Rooms are very clean, and its very quiet, that's all we needed.

Very old hotel that is in serious need of an update. I will say it was clean and less expensive than the two other hotels just across the street.

Great place! Right off i80 got a good deal thru priceline just a basic room me and my fiancée. It was clean! And they had tractor trailer truck parking! Would highly suggest :).

Nice place great value. The mattress could be better and definitely the TV set up need upgrade.
