Very sad as we had planned a weekend hangout around the pool while our husbands went to their 30 naval reunion. Well no one told us pool is closed and under construction.

Dirty bedding. Urine smell. Not cleaned. No towels. No soaps or toiletries. Manager is on drugs or just blacks out when you speak to him. They claim to be booked but only have 16 cars in the lot. I think they only book one floor. Toilet had poop in it. Walls in shower not clean. Requested room to be cleaned while gone, got back at 11 pm… room not cleaned. Manager told US to change bedding and trash bags. Nope! not doing that. Pushed for another room which turned out to be the room that smells like pee and also had dirty bedding counters and poop in the toilet. This place is a dump truck and the halls smell like it's just a place for drug addicts to hang out. Employees look a bit off as well and suck at communicating.

Newly done rooms on 3rd floor are very nice, but decorator must be color blind. The breakfast is very good as is the room where you eat. Slept very well, always a plus. Would stay here again.

The rooms were nice once we were able to get in. We got to the hotel at check in time and had to wait for 2 hours for the rooms to be ready. After going up and talking to the manager on duty they compensated with only $10 discount. Will be addressing the issue with the general manager.

Convenient, clean, nice staff. The hotel is a bit old, the elevators smell like burnt grease and the pool was closed for repair. The room overall was fine.

When we checked in the night clerk was very friendly and accommodating. She was the only one working but was able to get us checked-in in a timely manner. The breakfast isn't all that good. We have had better continental breakfast before. The woman who does the breakfast was super friendly. But those two ladies are the one staff that would great you with a smile or acknowledge you. It's very clean and convenient to get to.

Room needs updating. Older facilities need extra attention to cleaning detail … missed the mark on cleanliness. Rugs stained, mirrors spotty and dusting is lacking.

While this is not a 5 star hotel. They treat you very well. The rooms are in great shape. They have a breakfast nook that can be used as a meeting area or relaxation spot. We usually come here with a large group of people and we use the area to play games and catch up. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You are close to a lot of restaurants and shopping g too and only a few minutes from downtown. There is a small gym here that is good enough for running or doing some abs. Love coming here.

This used to be a decent hotel, our latest stay was beyond subpar and we will not be back. Room was not cleaned / serviced two out of six days that we stayed and we found someone’s dirty undergarments in a chest of drawers in our room.

Clean hotel and great breakfast for what you pay. Staff is warm and welcoming. The best hotel in the area as there's not many to choose from. We stayed here in the middle of a long bicycle ride and were able to keep our bicycles in our room.

Very comforting and serene atmosphere. Definitely a winner. Dont find them like this no more. The warm feeling and cleanliness makes up for the lack of updated furniture. If you plan to do any outings your definitelytely going to need your own transportation though.

Hotel is pretty nice. Had some issues with the elevators, and rooms are nice, but starting to become dated. Parking is good, and location is excellent, plenty of good food options nearby.

Some rooms are in very bad shape. Usually I have a good experience here. The toilet lid fell off of toilet and landed on my toe. A/c was very loud and gum was stuck in carpet. I called down to front desk and complained. Then at 5:30 in the morning I received a wake up call I didn’t request. (Probably because I complained about the shape of the room. )

I paid $130 and I got exactly what I expected: a bed, clean room, and also there was a Great Room for breakfast. Easy to get to. Its a Holday Inn, it is exactly what you would expect.

Room was nice but the heater was a little weird. Breakfast was good and the server was very nice and helpful. Only stayed for one night, but it was enjoyable.

I stayed there back in June in preparation for my wedding. The room was very nice. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Very enjoyable.

153$ for one night for this? Beds are horrible paint in about to fall off, it smells. This place is maybe worth 80$ a night. It’s a rip off. Don’t come here.

I always enjoy my stay here. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast is great. Also… you gotta try the cookies! They are exceptional.

Great location for visiting western Cincinnati, Green Township, Dent. Beautiful breakfast room has stacked stone fireplace and two story high windows that overlook the hillside location. Rooms are nicely decorated like all Holiday Inn Express locations. Disappointed that management would not allow us to modify our reservation from 4 to 3 nights when we checked-in and that there were minimal gluten free breakfast options. The scrambled eggs and omlets included wheat as an ingredient. Why?

I am currently at the Holiday Inn Express on rybolt % I'm very aggravated at the service here, I arrived at 3pm to get a room for the night while my house is getting fixed and after I paid for the room at the front desk I noticed that a worker grabbed a flashlight and said she would walk us to our room. I soon discovered the woman had the light because the electric was turned off at the hotel. They said nothing about the electric being off and still charged me full price, my 1 year old son & I had to sit in the hotel room for hours with no lights, no television and no heat & it's freezing out. So finally we got to have some electric in the room and it's late so I want to take a shower before I go to sleep but I just noticed that there is no hot water at all! Not it the shower nor the sink. So after paying $107 plus tax to stay here for 1 night I had no electric for hours & I can't even take a shower or give my son a bath. I can not believe the service here for how expensive it is.

Great location. Staff was pretty friendly. Very close to downtown Cincinnati. Hotel appears tired and rundown. Carpet in our room was unbelievably filthy. Huge dark stains near the bed and along the entrance. Much needed rehab/renovation would really help this hotel.

It a great place to stay rooms was great service is great and it right off main road and places to eat and shop at.

We stayed here only one night while in town for a funeral. Every single person working here was so friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, the breakfast selection was great. All amenities were above average. Great deal for the $$. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice, quiet hotel with a nice complimentary breakfast every morning. Rooms have microwaves and Keurig brewers, as well as a mini fridge. Only issue was that our room was never really cleaned until 3pm each day. Other than that it has been a great stay.

The room was nice and ckean, bit the key card kept not working and I had to reset it multiple times.

If I could give it less I would! We got to the hotel room and it
was ok except for all the dust so I took a rag and wiped it all down. At 2
am my husbands alarm went off for him to get up for work and he isn't
getting it so I reach over and turn it off and saw what looked like a black
spot or something on his bed that I didn't notice before so I shine my
light on it and there is a HUGE bed bug on his bed! I get him up
immediately he gets a cup with a little water in it and drowns it. We have
to wake the kids up, my 2 year old was so upset and crying, pack all our
belongings while making sure nothing is on them and then head to front
office. Wait for the person to come out and he looks like the janitor but
asks what we needed. Explain to him the situation and he says I've never
had a problem in that room and I replied yeah well we have never had this
problem ever! He then asks if we want to move to another room and we
declined and requested help getting another room elsewhere and he stated he
couldn't help us because they are franchised and he is the only place
within 20 miles trying to make it our only option and my husband requests
our money back which was agreed on. We were never offered help or told they were going to even address the issue nor did we ever receive an apology.

Alright hotel but it's 7pm and there is trash still outside the doors. The beds and mediocre at best. The gym is crap though… might just need an overhaul.

Our third year in a row coming here. Great staff, wonderful breakfast, some excellent restaurants in the area — El Rancho Grande on Harrison and the steak house across the way. Convenient location for access to many parts of Cincinnati.

My third Summer staying here. Nice rooms, easy access to many parts of Cincinnati, great staff, efficient house keeping, and several excellent restaurants in the neighborhood, especially the El Rancho Grande on Harrison. The way better than continental breakfast they offer is a great way to start your day. I'll be back.

We stayed in many hotels over the past 5 years. The service is excellent but the building is in serious need of an upgrade. New carpets and bathroom remodels.

This Summer will be the third year in a row myself and family members will be staying here and I have only good things to say about the place. Great staff, very comfortable rooms, the lower level dining area is a great place for breakfast in the morning (be sure to try the automatic pancake machine, it's awesome), and the neighborhood is full of a variety of great shops and restaurants. Enjoy.

Excellent place to stay and very reasonable rates. We had the best time with our 2 grandkids and they loved the outdoor pool. The hot breakfast was a hit to. We will make a point to stay there again. Thank you.

About the only hotel on West side. Clean, and quiet. Breakfast pretty good.

My family stayed here for a wedding reception. Parents were upgraded to a top floor suite which was very spacious and nice. Good location as this is the only hotel on the west side of Cincinnati near the venue.

Not much to say. Accommodations were fantastic. Unfortunately, we weren't up early enough for breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Had a family Christmas gathering. Booked 8 pet friendly rooms and a meeting room. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good and the dining room was very nicely appointed.

Decent hotel and breakfast for cheap price.

The rooms were nice and clean. People were friendly and accommodating. The only issue was the breakfast was satisfactory compared to other hotels I've stayed at.

I will never stay at another Holiday inn. 2 nights in an uncomfortable room called a suite because they shoved a couch in, and paid $340.14 total for a room that was advertised at 113 per night. On top of this, I know it was my fault that I did not check everything before I left, But would you believe that the earrings, necklace and watch I had in a drawer were not found even though no one has been in that room since? %$^ (%^%#^ (. I have notified the police there.

Terrible. Hotel they don't change the covers at all ever want to book a hotel run from this one fast it's nasty and discusting I wouldn't recommend o and I seen. Bed bugs manager is rude.

Old and worn out. The room had a bit of a mildew smell to it. That might have something to do with the water stain on the ceiling. The bed was "lumpy" and bedding was worn thin tattered. I'm not sure how this place is still able to keep its IHG franchise. I'm beginning to notice that IHG have been more relaxed in enforcing their policies of quality. I will have to say that gentleman that checked me in was very nice and professional, expecially after dealing with the customer before me, trying to get a free night stay because he was checking in at 3am.

This place is a dump for being a Holiday Inn. I would expect the same quality at a low end motel. My room was gross, stunk like mildew, dirty carpet. Im not overly picky, and can put up with a lot, and not complain. But as a said, for the brand name this is not what I expect. My room was also on the back side of the hotel with a sliding glass door toward the back parking lot. I didnt feel the room was that secure.
