This hotel is very sketchy. The lobby is nice but everything else is extremely dated. When I called to reserve a room they said I could use cash. Well when I got there the person at the desk said that they generally don't do cash but "she would do it anyway". Even though I paid cash and have a receipt for it they put a pre-authorized hold on my credit card for the amount I had just paid in cash. Why do you need my card if I just paid you in cash? The shuttle is gross and dated. It's honestly worth paying a little bit more for the hotels closer to the airport. The pool is nice. Everything in the lobby is great.

I did not stay at this hotel and this is a paid review. We did not stay overnight at this hotel, we visited friends. The outside of this hotel doesn't look promising. It's older and the outside could use an update. That said, we were blown away by the quality of the inside of the hotel. It's nice open and inviting. The pool was great. Very clean. Our friends said their room was excellent. My only quibble was that the outside is dated and the temperature in the lobby and pool area was pretty hot. The kids who swam didn't agree, however.

I was impressed with the entire look of the hotel! The entrance and lobby are beautifully done and on our way to the room we passed a beautiful water display that you can actually toss coins into and the grand entrance is exactly that! It's very spacious and the open floor plan was well thought out giving you that grand feeling! I also passed a workout area with nice equipment that was all in closed with glass so that you can see everyone and everyone can see you. The room wasn't all that I expected it to be, but far from the worst I've seen! The best thing about the room is definitely the bed because it's very soft and cozy! I am also a big fan of the all white bedding! Everything is bright white just the way it should be and the quilt is beautifully designed and the 3 diff sized pillows work for the decor!

Older hotel, wasn't to bad, wasn't that great though. One of the weirdest things here was the temp of the water kept changing through out my whole shower, it would good from way to hot to ice cold then it would be a normal temp.

Uncomfortable beds. Bathroom floor has soap or wax on it making it super slippery. Bathroom didnt even have a working toilet paper holder. Room was poorly cleaned. The free "breakfast" is toast cereal and oatmeal with apples and oranges. Hallway noise carries into the rooms. None of the lamps were even plugged in. You may save a few bucks but you will regret it.

Mary was wonderful at front desk, very professional but warm. Room was very clean and comfortable. Will stay agsin.

Absolutely the worst place to stay! The website stated inground heated pool which had no heater and was so cold a person could not swim. There was no whirlpool as the website advertised and the mattress was so dirty it shows through the sheets. The manager was rude, and a complete waste of money. I will never stay at this place again. Beware!

Booked through an event coordinator for a "Stay to play" cheerleading competition, so the room was 3x more than it should have been. The outside looks sketchy, can't even go into the lobby to confirm reservations, they've have a bullet proof glass window you have to stand outside and freeze, so they must get robbed a lot, real reassuring when you're staying with children! I watched another family storm out because they found "drug paraphernalia" IN THEIR ROOM! I'm staying with children for an athletic event and they have me in a smoking room! Needless to say I was prepared to drive the 3 hours home, and 3 hours back in the morning before I'd stay here! The hotel was kind enough to refund my money, my frustration is with Connections Housing, the event coordinator who book such an inappropriate hotel!

Nice hotel staff Mary and Danielle are amazing. It's almost a home away from home good price for the rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable you can park your car, stay at the hotel and catch the shuttle to the airport. I will definitely be back…

Air conditioning unit was loud. Business center was helpful. Rooms were large and cozy. Bathroom was clean. Shower was large.

Dirty, sheets don't fit the bed, blankets are paper thin, pillows are flat, and continental breakfast… What a joke, it's toast and cereal! Pool not heated work out room half broken and the other half dirty.

Staff is very helpful, very nice. Room is clean. Needs updated but overall a good stay. Airport transport is professional and prompt and pleasant!

For the price it's fine. Free shuttle to the airport.

Clean & comfortable room. The price for park and fly was reasonable. No easily accessible outlets in the room. Their shuttles are not 24/7 like I was told before leaving. I had a late arrival flight, 12:30am, and was told to take a taxi to the hotel when I called for a shuttle after landing.

They charged my friend an extra fee because she hasn't changed her license over to her new address in Georgia and it still started that she loves in Columbus. The fee was so high she could not afford to stay the night.

Found bed bugs in bed. I told front desk and brought them live ones from that room to show as proof. They gave me a different room and plastic bags to put our belongings in (Luggage. Coats) to contain any bed bugs that found there way in our stuff. That new room seemed okay but we didn't sleep comfortably because of incident. It was Sunday so head manager was not it. I will call Monday to see if they will refund me my money. Basically left to fend for ourselves. Arrived home, put bags with our stuff in garage to clean and inspect next day. Lesson Learned. When going to hotel next time before settling in inspect mattress under sheets, Look for bed bug stains on sheets and cushions. Bring bed bug spray to spray on luggage and perimeter of bed. There is no guarantee but you are doing all you can. Also bring in only what you need into room. Leave everything else in car trunk. I realize this can happen at any hotel, I wish that hotels would teach cleaning staff what to look for when making beds. Also, putting bed bug detection traps behind headboard on floor and housekeeping once a week check traps. Hopefully, there is a hotel manager out there who is reading this and will implement a better bug prevention program.

Very seedy hotel. I was as far as it was possible to be from the front desk, in Building "C" at the far, far, far end of the long, dark hallway. My room was like some bizarre, dystopian dream. Nothing really matched. The wallpaper had been hung at random, and overlapped. (No effort had been made to install it properly. ) There was dried vomit on the floor of the elevator, and holes punched in the walls. The drapes over the windows in the main hallway had half-collapsed and were hanging drunkenly. The towels were probably bought from a prison supply company — tiny and very coarse. It was so bad that I had to laugh. For $20 more, I could have stayed at the Hampton Inn. Plus I had terrible, heart-pounding nightmares toward dawn. This place would have been a great set for a horror movie. I think it might be haunted. The only upside was that the staff was nice.

It has its quirks but for the price and with the right state of mind and patience, it's ok. Able to get past the dated parts and focus on the rate and just relax by the pool. It was fine.

I am sure it was a nice hotel when it was built, but that was a long time ago. It needs to be renovated. Even a non smoking room smelled. Breakfast… Cereal and toast.

Great hotel for the price and close to the airport. They were busy when checking in, but the staff was still very nice and accommodating. The breakfast could be improved as it is simple cereal and toast. We will stay here again if in the Columbus area.

Very nice clean place to stay. Pool was awesome, breakfast is cereals, toast and juice etc. Staff are friendly and helped us when my wife needed an extra pillow which they bought to our room. The room was clean, had a fridge and microwave. The TV worked perfectly as did the shower. Would happily stay here again.

The hotel itself looks a little dated on the outside but the lobby itself is fairly nice. The rooms were clean and had the usual (TV, AC, etc. ) The bathroom was fairly big for the price we payed for the night and the beds we're fairly comfortable. Has an indoor pool and hot tub. Obviously, it's not a resort or anything like that. You're in Columbus, not Colorado. But if it's a roof you need over your head, close to the airport and downtown Columbus, I'd recommend this hotel for you.

I've stayed here a few times and it's always been a pretty good experience. The staff has never been particularly friendly but I am staying there for convenience, not for pleasure. The free shuttle to/from the airport and free parking while you're gone is wonderful. They schedule your pickup when you check in and the ride to the airport is less than 5 minutes. Very reasonable for the price. I would recommend.

My family and I stayed here for a week, not the greatest and not the worst. Location was excellent, the building could use some updates. The staff was friendly especially housekeeping. You get what you pay for. You want the Hilton, stay at and pay for the Hilton. Overall not a bad place.

There is a pool. That is mainly the only great thin about this place. An airport shuttle is available, but no other form of transportation. A minimalist breakfast area is available from 4-10 am. Breakfast options include oatmeal, coffe, orange juice, toast with a choice of jellies/peanut butter, and cereals. The rooms are musty due to there not being much ventilation in and between the rooms. However, there is air-conditioning and a heater.

Complete bs says no credit card 55$ was disrespected by front desk punk when I questioned 98$ on cc only and asked to leave horrible attitude worst night clerk ever lucky hes not in the hospital never go to this place again corporate says sorry but the rate has changed 3 times in 15 mins lol.

Over all pretty good. Bad continental breakfast and the tub took a while to drain but friendly staff and comfortable.

Hopefully under renovation. Dirty. Broken showerhead. Old and dingy. Musty smell in lobby & rooms. Cont breakfast was SAD.

Rooms desperately need updating — curtains are all torn up, bed cover had holes, Tunis in bathroom all scratched up. Friendly staff. Very continental breakfast with bare bones but it gets the job done. Nice indoor heated pool and lobby area.

Friendly staff. Close to Easton Mall and close to a good selection of restaurants. Clean room and decent breakfast bar. The cable was fuzzy but my children didn't mind that too much. Would stay there again.

The attendant was very friendly and prompt. Took around 10 minutes for the van to pick me up from the airport. The lobby was a little dated, but clean. The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was pseudo available at 3:45 am and offered a selection of fruit, cereal, toast, & cold oatmeal. (I assume there would be more avail be later in the morning). For a 5 hour stay, I was happy with the he room for the price.

The front counter check in staff were warm, friendly and welcoming! Marla was the first person who I encountered followed by her supervisor (blonde-haired woman). They were both extremely helpful in making my check-in process very quick and convenient. Marla even recommended places to eat. She was such a pleasure to have dealt with overall. In addition, our double bed standard room was up to par, clean and smelled very good. The beds were super cozy and comfortable. Free cable TV and Wi-Fi! I can't complain! I would definitely return to this Days Inn if and when I'm ever in Columbus again!

First and foremost, the desk attendant threw the room keys at my partner's head. But BEFORE all that happened… We arrived to a very sketchy parking lot. There was some not so inconspicuous activity including very loud rap music, by some non-hotel persons. Just waiting there, not parked. After checking in, upon entering our room we noticed our TV was not working properly. We attempted to call the front desk, but the phone was not operational. We called from a cell phone and they asked us to walk back to the front desk. They give us another key on another floor and upon entering that room we noticed it was OCCUPIED. Yes, they gave us the key to someone ELSE'S room. So my partner walked to the front desk and spoke to the attendant, whom had been very jovial with, in casually describing the situation, he mentioned in a surprised, joking tone, "There was someone in the f — king room… " The desk attendant went into flip mode over this one simple cuss word, that was not even intentionally threatening to anyone. So much that she was going to "come over the f — king desk" which not only caught him off guard, but after threatening him and not servicing us with a new room, she got on the phone and told her friend about it, quite colorfully, while there were other guest waiting for rooms. When we asked for a key, she came out and threw it at my partner's head. And then told us we were checking out. Which was the only obvious choice. She yelled at us until we were out the door.

This place was a complete dump. Stains on the carpet, shower curtain was so nasty I took the bottom snap part off before I showered, the walls had crap all over them, the fridge shelves were missing and bottom was all stained not including it look like it was from 1960 and was rolled down the hill befor put in my room and the heater/air didn't really work and sounded like it was going to catch on fire as loud as it kicked in and off. The hallway was stained and had holes in the floor (be careful don't trip and fall, kinda deep). It smelled like cigarrets all over since they mixed smoking rooms with non. The breakfast was left out all the time it was nasty looking. The outside was not a place you wanted to be after dark or maybe not even at all. The run down trailer park across of the street with the little store had people standing out there all the time with cars driving up doing god knows what and driving off. STAY AWAY! Oh I will say the gentleman that shuttles the bus to the airport was always smiling and saying good morning… But that's all they will get from me, it's a complete dump! I'll post pictures on Yelp and other places, because it won't allow me to do so here, but managed to post some under photos.

Check in was acceptable and speedy, the only thing about the trip. Ended up getting two rooms, found first room in wing B, very dirty and outdated, sheets weren't even on bed. Went with other couple to find their room, found my room number in wing C too, decided to see if my key card worked here too, it did. Picked room in wing c considering it was bigger and closer to our friends. Went to front desk to explain issue, to give them a heads up, was treated awful. They were very confrontational and lack of customer service skills, not sure they ever believed the issue. Either I was a liar in some sort or I was overreacting over the problem. They said there was no one there were 2 room 263s but there was! Place needs remodeled, new workers, new managers. The room I picked ended up with the wall paper sliding down the wall, building was noisy and weird noise came from my room all night which kept me up. Save your money and go somewhere else, not worth $100, not even worth $50.

Much nicer than appeared from the outside. The inside is nice! My girls loved the pool. The rooms were clean and nice. Staff was friendly. Only complaint, Breakfast was much to be desired. No choices beyond dry cereal and bread for toast. Besides that, good experience.

I don't know why people are saying how bad this days inn is. They have beautiful hostess at the counter. Thats all you need. And everything else is good too.

Here, the first to the sixth night live here, to be honest, cheap is cheap, but still a pretty solid place for Breakfast can also be relatively quiet, is a very economic car to the hotel.

Horrible experience and racist as hell against black people come for a kids b day party and kicked us out after 30 mins for nothing.

If there was an option for no stars that's what I would have given my stay. The parking lot should have been my first clue. 5 broken down vans on blocks is the first thing I saw, along with McDonald's bags on the ground. The room wasn't clean with hair in the bath tub. Stains on the carpet, torn fabric on the couches in the hallway. The cleaning people left our door open A huge party was being held on Saturday night with constant slamming and scream obscenities and running up and down the halls. At 4amthe police arrived. I was told the party was to be over at 2am. So I guess they knew about it and did not feel the need to monitor the actions of the guests. It was the worst place I've ever stayed in. I'm sure there are nice days inns, but I'll never take a chance on them again.

This hotel more like motel, smells like someone died on the second floor, the smell was so bad I had to go out and buy some spry for my room, unfortunately all the hotel are booked in the area, or I would be going elsewhere.

The first thing you smell when you walk into the lobby is chlorine and something musty. My room had to be changed 3 times because the AC was broken in all of them. The maintenance man explained that there was a breaker issue in the 4th room so I couldn't use some lights, the fridge, or the microwave or else it would trip the breaker. All 4 room options smelled terrible and looked like the floors hadn't been cleaned in years. Im currently at the "continental" breakfast that offers 4 variations of cereal, stale toast, 2 empty gallons of milk, and fruit that definitely is past shelf-life. This is not a hotel to bring family to. Maybe if you'd like to bring a hooker, yes.

I stayed two nights, one on Memorial Day, the other was on the following Saturday. I have stayed at Days Inns across the country, this is by far the worst. Normally I do not write reviews, but people need to know about this and the Days Inn chain needs to make changes. On a positive note, the van to and from the airport was good, fast, and convenient. But the hotel and the alleged breakfast left much to be desired. Our first breakfast consisted of dry cereal and there was no milk. There were a few pieces of white "wonder" bread for the toaster, the coffee was watered down. I alerted the front desk to the milk situation, an hour later they got some half and half, and still later some milk. By then, most everyone that wanted breakfast had already moved on. The second stay the room was dirty, no toilet paper, the desk chair and coffee maker were missing. The sour desk clerk gave me a roll when I came down to the desk. I reported the missing items by phone, but even though I was told someone was working on it, nothing was done. The second breakfast was slightly improved over the first because at least there was milk.

I thought it was laid out rather odd but over all very nice inside. No restaurant as yet or bar but they do have a continental breakfast. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean and very nicely laid out. For the price you cannot get better and it is very close to the airport.

Water is not hot first room was dirty second room was slightly better we were gonna go to a third room but it was no better. If I had the time I would leave and find someplace else but after a long drive I just dont feel like it. Josh has to be one of the most uncourteous front desk person I have ever felt with barely said a word. Other front desk staff were very pleasant and I am sure "breakfast" will be an utter disappointment. Book another hotel if you can.

Very displeased. Looks are deceiving! The hotel smelt like it was being exterminated and the room trash wasn't taken out from previous guest! No towels in the room. : (.

I stayed here back in October of last year. My First impression of the place was that it was fairly decent, looked nice, it was clean. When my group went to find our rooms we were so confused. The layout of this hotel must have been done by a blind man. If you want to stay here pack light, bring snacks and be prepared for a hike. When I got to my room it looked bad. The bed was half made and there were crumbs in it, which I found out after I got in it. I wasn't pleased with the hotel to begin with. We left in a hurry and after I left, I notice that I left my camera battery there. We called the hotel, they said they had found it and will ship in out. I have called maybe twenty five times over the past few months about my battery and I STILL have not gotten it. When they know it's me calling they won't pick up now. I have a $500 camera that I cannot use.
