Amazing hotel. Close to everything we wanted to see. Went with my wife and three kids and they loved it. We will be visiting again. Everything s eked to be in order and the staff was excellent. Lago was packed when we were there so we decided to take a walk down the street to eat. Other than that I would absolutely recommend. I am not as picky as some people about some things but to me and for the price it was great. We stayed at a holiday inn in Columbus and paid more and it was horrible. The beds were also very comfortable.

Music plays loudly and until very late at night, pillows were stained, bathroom floor needed some TLC…

Let’s start with the price for this hotel. It is overpriced for what you get. They advertise everywhere that you receive a breakfast with your stay but due to the pandemic they’ve shut everything down but you’re lucky enough to get a coupon for a cold frozen sandwich in the cooler. Plus they only have a couple selections of hot food but only on Saturdays. They still charge more money if you get breakfast included in your stay. The front desk was barely helpful and just present doing her job. The room itself was OK except the bathroom floor was dirty. It looks like the corners of the floor had not been cleaned in months. The best part of the state was the Browns fit fitness center that is adjacent to the hotel. Don’t let me forget about how much they charge for valet parking as well. If I ever have to stay in Cleveland again it would not be downtown it would be on the outskirts where you’ll get more for your money.

So, let me start by saying that our stay as a whole wasn't too bad. We had a nice room with a view of the lake. But apparently a generator or something has failed/gone out because we were not able to use any of the elevators. We had to use a dark stairwell to get to and from our 4th floor room. We dealt with it and spent the rest of the evening in our room after getting our dinner. We were able to check out late and checking out was super easy. However, I checked my bank account after we left to find $50 additional had already been charged to my account. I immediately called the hotel and was told it wasn't charged but was rather pending. I was also told that it would be back in my account within 48 hours. Fast forward 4 days and I still had not received it. I called again and was told it would actually take 5 business days to be refunded. It was actually charged to my account. So I waited another week, still no refund. I called yet again, was transferred to their accounting department, and had to leave a voicemail. Now, another two weeks later, I have not heard back from anyone. So, I called back again today, was transferred, and had to leave another voicemail. I really don't think it should be this difficult for me to get a refund. The room was left very clean; used towels in a pile in the bathroom, sheets and blankets pulled back up, curtains open, all trash in the bin. There was no reason for me to be charged this $50 for "incidentals.

A really great place except for their valet service. If you value your car at all do not bring it here or park it yourself. Or don’t stay here. Plus the Loft seems to sensor negative comments. We will see if it’s taken down.

Overall everything was good. Staff was excellent and location was convenient. Only downfall was no water pressure in the shower.

Amazing service, friendly staff, great rooms and breakfast options too. Met Bill the GM who was very friendly. Jessie at the WXYZ bar is the best!

Thought I would try it. Great staff. Clean and functional room. Comfy bed. Will look for Aloft in other cities we visit.

The below our room bar stays open until 4am blaring music. We got horrible sleep.

This place is deplorable. My wife worked there summer 2018. Her and and other co workers were up there having sex everyday during work not working. Drinking and smoking leaving their job duties halfway done. Thanks to that ive lost my whole family.

The cleanliness of the room could be worked on. The sheets were stained and I called for a new set and the second set was stained as well. The hotel had AC issues on a weekend when the temp was in the 90's. The elevator stopped while trying to get to the bottom level and it was very hot inside so I'm sure you could imagine the anxiety it created. Although a great location I will not be staying there again. For the price of 280.00/night it should've been cleaner. Although not satisfied with the facility the staff was very nice.

Just completed a great conference at the Aloft Cleveland. All hotel employees we encountered were professional, accommodating and truly caring. It was obvious they enjoyed their jobs and cared about their business. All of our meals were outstanding. I highly recommend the Aloft in Cleveland.

We were in a king bed room with a wonderful view of the flats. The room wasn't large but had a fantastic layout with a very comfortable bed. Anyone on the staff that I interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. All and all, a great experience.

Hip, trendy and clean hotel. Rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. Good location for a night out on the town. 1st floor bar and proximity to the Flats make for an easy night cap and walk back to the room. Hosted our company party in downtown and booked a block of rooms. Very accommodating staff.

This hotel was fantastic. For what it is, it's very reasonably priced. We were in a king bed room with a wonderful view of the flats. The room wasn't large but had a fantastic layout with a very comfortable bed. Anyone on the staff that I interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. All and all, a great experience.

A very fancy, modern hotel, obviously designed for the younger guests the area is sure to be full of. Numerous restaurants and activities are within walking distance, though the area certainly gets very sketchy very fast. The various sets of elevators and floor differences can be very confusing if you've never been there before. For the price, the rooms aren't anything special, just a small box for the bed with a separating wall for the bathroom area. That said, the beds were very comfy, and the bathrooms very modern and nice. Some of the views of the lakes you can get from some rooms are quite nice, and being able to lookout over the city isn't half bad either.

A very cool place to stay for a night. Located in the Flats East bank. Small but comfy rooms. It has a nice bar with an outdoor terrace that has a river/lake view. Within walking distance of lots of dining, drinking and entertainment venues. Very friendly staff. The only criticism I have is with the elevator buttons. They need to be labeled better. I will definitely stay there again.

Fashionable looking rooms and property but maintenance problems were abound. Elevators (both passenger elevators) were out of commission for most of the weekend (including stranding several patrons for longer than desired periods of time). Bathroom doors are on a track that allows the doors to slide freely, causing very loud bangs any time someone opened the bathroom door (open bumper stop, and closing via self/gravity). The only way to safely open the door in the middle of the night was to hold the ends and move it very slowly and make sure it shut very slowly. Third issue was the air conditioner/heater. During the middle of the night the temps would go from 67 (set on thermostat) to 87 with full heat blasting for hours, waking us up at 6am both nights. I believe the issue was IR communication between the thermostat and the unit — and it a bag on the floor blocks the connection, the unit probably never got the notice that temp (67) was reached and it should stop producing heat. Long paragraph said, the problems caused several tired travelers. I'm sure simple maintenance schedules, corrective measures and signs should have helped alleviate the issues we were experiencing. I do not foresee myself staying at this hotel again due to the experience, but for those seeking a close location to the flats, convenience would be the seller.

The location is excellent the rooms very clean and the service also excellent.

Great hotel in the flats. Lively lobby bar. Walking distance to bars in the flats as well as downtown. The staff is friendly. Lago on the ground floor is a great place for dinner and collision bend brewery is right around the corner. Have stayed here a few times and will continue to in the future.

Friendly staff and thats about it. Smallest room I've ever stayed in, no room to sit and see the t. V. Unless you're on the bed. No privacy in the bathroom, no place to store your clothes. No amenities what so ever in your room. Room wasn't cleaned our first night other then emptying trash and making the bed. I will never stay at an Aloft again. Bar over priced food from the bar awful.

Very nice place great view of the lake if you get lucky. Nice bar and lobby with outside deck. Also close by to places to eat and night life. I hope to come back again. Also next to train station too!

Everyone is so helpful and accommodating. Lots of spots my little dogs can use to pee that aren't a long walk away. The hotel is clean and beautifully decorated. Had an amazing salad this morning from the hotel's lobby/food area. And free coffee available 24/7. The only negative is the cost of valet parking with no alternative. Valet parking needs to be included in the room price if it's the only parking option.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing amentities, but what made our stay memorable was the staff. The manager of the hotel went out of her way more than once to make sure we were comfortable. She even took me down the street to FedEx to drop a package off. Couldn’t haven’t asked for a better stay!

Great location if you're wanting to go out in the flats. They kindly offered a room on the quiet side versus the nicer view, but with more noise from the trains. The shuttle was great to have available with the cold weather and they even provide a card so you can call the shuttle for pick up versus waiting on a route.

Very nice design of the room, business oriented. Good view of the Flats and the shops down below. Bed was freshly made and the room was nice, besides the dirty spots, specifically around the mirror and the glass shower door.

Reasonable stay — rooms are a little on the noisy side. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room service was really poor quality food from the? Italian? place or something. Really overpriced and unpalatable for me, and the fee to bring it up to the room seemed a little high to me. Left no room for a tip, but with fees like that the guy could pull in a lot more than I do on a busy night. The local big city smell is an 11/10 on the sewage level. Surprisingly bad… Nothing the hotel can do about that Rooms are designed the same as most aloft hotels. Ex: the worst aloft property on earth Detroit. If you're not a fan of the layout (see a lot of poor reviews for it) than you should avoid all Alofts No place to smoke around the building that doesn't have a sign saying it's illegal. Absolutely nothing stopping the wind/snow so expect to freeze in the 7 degree weather if you're a smoker.

Went to the bar here for an event and I gotta say I was not happy with one of the bartenders there that day. The event said all well liquor drinks were $5 so my friend and I order a long island but he charged us $8 and then proceeded to say long islands have 4 liquors in it and that if we didn't know it was extra it was our fault. That rubbed us the wrong way because no where was it said that was a well liquor long island would be extra money and so how were we supposed to know and to top it off the drink tasted pretty bad.

The rooms are well maintained, nice, and for a downtown location not badly priced. You won't be at the heart of Cleveland, but a 10 minute walk is all it takes to experience everything.

Very modern and trendy. Most of the staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Not huge rooms, but everything you need for a nights stay with other activities planned most of the time. Bed was comfy. Great area with amazing night life and tons to do. A+ on trendiness, location and front desk staff. Could have gotten 5 stars but everything seemed dirty. Coffee stains on the coffee tray. Shower had a lot hair built up in the drain. The sliding door to the bathroom was filthy on both sides. Walls and doors were dirty all around the hotel, not just in our room. Stains on the vinyl bench seat under the TV that would have come up with a damp rag/soap (and might I suggest a disinfectant as I can only imagine what caused them judging by the look of it). Windows had finger prints all over them. And the valet staff were not very friendly or helpful, but they were quick with getting the car when needed. C — on cleanliness and valet.

Here for business and the Aloft couldn't have been in a better location. Definitely a more trendy/millennial vibe to it. But the room was comfortable. Would stay here again.

Okay urban space in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Convenient to many sites /events; good location. Our room could have been cleaner. The entry/wash area light was on the same switch as the bathroom exhaust fan. Very irritating. Parking is not cheap, but at least it's convenient. The front desk staff was courteous. Decent checkout time (noon). Considerable number of restaurants within walking distance. We will avoid the nearby restaurant Bold. Our experience there with the food was not good.

Staff were extremely nice and helpful. My room was at the end and I was able to see the Browns stadium from one window and The Flats from the other. The bed was comfortable, but the room was not soundproofed from all of the outside noise. Motorcycles all hours of the night, trains, and boat horns (not sure, but that is what it sounded like). $24 to valet park for the night or $17 to self park was a little pricey in my opinion. Overall I had a great time visiting and will probably be back.

Great staff! The girl at the desk was very nice and gave me a good room. Then some wait staff were willing to reheat some food for me when I missed some of one event. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy.

Completely newly built in 2015. It is part of renovation project of the old warehouse district. Right in front of the new E&Y office building and some rooms have view of Lake Erie. Sizes of rooms are bit smaller compared to some the older hotels. Several great restaurants and social venues right cross the street/ parking lot. Also, there is over 16, 000 sf state of the art gym on site.

Fantastic location. Amazing room. Very modern and clean. Was a 5 minute drive to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and a 5 minute walk to the Stadium the Browns play in. Also next to the Flats East Bank entertainment district, which is along the lakeshore. The hostesses at the check in counter were quick, courteous and helpful when asking for local information. 5 stars from this guy.

The hotel was super clean. The staff friendly and welcoming. They provided excellent tips for travel and meals. Shampoo and body wash in the shower — very convenient. It would be a 5 but the elevator is inconvenient and confusing — that might be a personal problem. Once we got it figured out — all was good. Check in was easy — check out was easy. Location of hotel was great for walking to sights.

We stayed one night for a concert, we had a group of four with a double bed room. The staff were very friendly and helpful at check in and check out. When going to our room I passed cleaning staff and they were super friendly as well. Valet staff was also very effective and organized. Rooms were very clean and included all amenities that were listed. The Wi-Fi was simple to login on and had fast surfing speeds. The only reason I am giving a 4 star rating is because of the bathroom doors (very noisy and rickety) and when I booked the website advertised a continental breakfast which was not the case. I highly recommend staying, super clean rooms and friendly staff good experience all around!

My hotel room is absolutely beautiful. It's located in the Warehouse District next to the Port of Cleveland. View was awesome! The gentleman at the Front Desk, I think his name is Spencer, was extremely nice and helpful. This hotel is extremely clean. I've completely enjoyed my stay.

Our travel companion is handicapped and requested an accessible room. When she got there the bathroom had no rails for her to be able to assist her in getting in and out if her chair which she couldn't even get through the bathroom door. Instead of of accommodating her in a room that fit her needs they comped her room and made her stay there. With no way of using the facilities. Very unacceptable.

If you like loud, thumping music until 2am, unprofessional staff, and hate sleep, this is the place for you! We stayed Thursday and Friday nights. The hotel itself is fine (minus the random towels and room essentials thrown about common areas), but the staff looks sloppy (polos and khakis for the front desk, really?! ), and is not super friendly. There were no issues Thursday night — great view of the recently renovated flats and the lake. However, Friday we returned to the hotel around midnight to find the loudest party happening in the bar beneath the hotel. Sure enough we not only heard it, but felt it in our room (it was like we were IN the bar). I called the front desk twice with no answer so I went there in person. The evening employee was even sloppier than the daytime ones. I told him about the noise and asked to be moved. He said they were completely full. (He also answered the phone in the middle of our exchange — but no answers when I called! ) I responded that I understood but then I would need to check out and I was not pay for that night. Miraculously a room became available (and he was borderline rude and huffing and puffing the entire exchange). He had a custodial staff member take me to the new room so I could decide if I wanted to move — this guy was also very unprofessional, complaining about the state of the hotel and the hospitality staff the entire time.

Whom ever designed these rooms has really fallen short. I have stayed at these hotels 3 times and the TV being placed in the center of the room on a wall with no swivel is idiotic. The only chair to sit on is the work station chair. Your almost forced to sit on your bed for viewing. This brand could have been great but I will go out of my way to never stay at these hotels. They know nothing about comfort for guest but hey, I guess the look is cool.

Wonderful hotel! Very accessible to everything we were doing. The restaurant at the bottom of the hotel (Bold) was very very good as well!

Love this place! The DJs play really good music and the drinks are always on point!
Nice club vibe without all of the nonsense of the other places.

Aloft amazed us from the first moment we walked in: shocked from the modern world look only topped. By the high tech interaction with everything! Phones worked on the doors no stupid card to lose it was great! Never a boring moment from the swimming pool to the pool tables it was clean, modern, and worth another visit!
