Great Care & Understandings, cannot begin to express the great comfort I’m receiving. It sure beats staying in the cold…

The people here are great. Went to Bellevue for a wedding and we got a double room for 4 people. The man at the front desk saw that we had 4 people in one room, and gave us the adjoining room free of charge. All 4 people got their own bed to sleep in. Also very clean and rooms are nice for the price.

My kids and I had a really great stay. It well comfortably priced. All the employees we encountered were very friendly — one man told my children a bunch of silly kid jokes that they loved. I feel the need to stress this place was CLEAN. I also felt very safe, and my kids LOVED it too. May not have been the most modern but we just enjoyed ourselves. Pool was big and the hot tub was perfect. We swam in that pool for hours! Would totally recommend.

Very nice hotel. Professional staff, spacious rooms, reasonable price for our short notice stay, indoor pool and hot tube, clean and kid friendly. Nearby food places that are advertised in the rooms were great tasting. Will stay again if in the area!

Mr Chris peters provided some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. If we needed something he was happy to oblige. He made us feel welcomed. The price of the hotel was very affordable and the room was nice and comfortable. I wanted to take the bed and pillows home with us. When we come back to Ohio this will be our first choice. Thank you mr Chris peters. Hope to see you again soon!

There's a lot of negative reviews of this hotel. I disagree. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. There's free bottled water. For a budget hotel I am quite pleased.

Me and a friend stayed here not horribly far from cedar point rooms very nice and clean beds super comfortable all the staff very friendly and accommodating we will definitely be returning on our next trip to cedar point.

This place is amazing. All the way from the the front desk to the rooms. I will stay here more often bc it's less than a block from where I need to be.

It's a cute little hotel. The rooms, while sort of outdated, were super clean and homey. Our service was excellent, and Mr. Peters at the front desk was a joy. Super pleasant service, in a super pleasant area.

The hotel is okay not great. Was a tad overpriced considering everything. I found the beds to be very uncomfortable. I also thought some of the people hanging around the hotel was a little shady. Wouldn't stay again considering the price.

Staff are so friendly and helpful, Chris did a fantastic Job for correcting the problem I have in my room, staff came to me and did what they do best in making my room clean. Chris reassured me it won't happen again and he is very nice person (since day 1) and hands on with everything, I hope all people are like him who managed hotels to take action to every clients problem.

I was a decent hotel. We stayed in the party room where it was 4 rooms that were connected. Wss a cool factor for my large family gathering and helped us not disturb others. The bedding was kinda iffy. It was kinda dated and seemed not fresh. No bugs so thats good. Close to a few stores and the party room had a kitchen which was nice.

Good price for the location and the owner is a very kind man.

The recent remodeling has really made a huge improvement. It's very clean and the staff their are very friendly:) the maintenance man is very amazing, if you need anything fixed he comes very fast and gets the job done.

3:30 am. We got a room right away. Two beds. Front view window. That looks out to the Mexican restaurant in front. They provided two waters, a little basket of grain bars and fruit snacks. Coffee and cups. Cable and Wi-Fi available. A pool hall in the back building. 89 plus tax for one night. Seems a bit pricey. Even with the time we checked in. To have room call at noon. Very comfortable. As well as a resevior sitting behind the hotel. A good place to grasp a piece of mind.

Rooms are large and empty. The beds and pillows are hard. Funny smells and dirty. Reception was clueless and the breakfast was sad. Never again.

Chris (the GM) is amazing. Great person and very, very helpful. Pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. Waiting to try their breakfast but I will definitely stay here in all my future visits to Bellevue and the surrounding areas. Rooms were clean too!

Bellevue is a small town but I was impressed by all the amenities this hotel has with inside and outside pools. A small game room! Friendly manger that is on sight 24 hrs. Nice continental breakfast!

This place is EXCELLENT all around, every category… and more! My wife and I stayed here several weeks as we transitioned into the area.
The onsite owner and staff made us feel like this was our home, until we found a house to move into. The rooms are huge and have refrigerators, micro-waves, additional sink outside the bathroom sink, super cable TV and large flat screens. Minister Richard W. Crank.

A hidden gem just few miles off the highway. Very homely feeling and very reasonably priced place. Had a warm feeling to the place even when I got here at midnight. Spacious rooms with classical feel. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay in this region. Very friendly and accommodating front desk host.

I will never stay at this hotel again. The owner is very rude. 10 min down the street and you can get a hotel were the owner treats you nice. I have been staying in hotels now for 4 years all over the USA and this is the first one a came a cross that I will say I will never come back. You either sleep on rock hard beds or beds that are so soft because they have been in the rooms since they opened. Learned my lesson next week when I'm in the area I'm going to a different hotel.

Stayed in August 2017! This hotel is amazing and wonderful! I would recommend it to everyone looking for a place to stay near Port Clinton, Put-In-Bay, and Bellevue! My first great experience was when I called the hotel the day we were supposed to arrive asking them if it was okay for us to do a late check in. The gentleman had a great sense of humor and made me laugh when he said that was okay and he would be there all night. When we arrived he asked how the trip was and he listened to me tell him how our two hour travel turned into a 4 hour excursion. The room was very clean and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were clean and well kept; we all enjoyed the time we had in them to relax. The staff was amazing, friendly, kind, welcoming, understanding, and more! The breakfast buffet was great because you could grab and go real quick if you were in a hurry. Everything about this hotel was great and we will be going back before the end of the year (and any other time we want to travel to the area). Thank you do much to the GM and staff at Bellevue hotel and suites for being understanding, kind, and awesome! (: We can't wait to visit and stay there again!

Definitely worth the money and entertainment Mr. Chris Peters was really respectful & positive, good place to stay when you want an affordable place to stay that also has that luxury look an fitness & pool.

If you're staying around the area, you'll definitely wanna check this place out. Rates are a great value for what you get. Clean room, no bugs, no worry of bugs, comfortable bed and the rest of what you likely expect. If I had to say something to improve it would be the Wi-Fi, which worked during my entire stay, but was a little spotty at times. Still, much better than other rooms I've stayed in. And the customer service is excellent! You will feel welcome.

We booked our room via website. Came into the hotel, and the second I walked in I was greeted warmly by me. Peters. He was kind and generous to me and my boyfriend the entire time we were getting our accommodations set up. He made the entire experience hassle free and it helped after a long day at Cedar Point. Once we got to the room, it was beautiful. Nothing that I expected. It was very clean, everything was tidy and organized. I couldn't have stayed at a better place and I kicked myself for not booking there the night before. Mr. Peters made it welcoming and we definitely found our new place to stay when we come out to vacation again. Keep up the amazing work Chris and team!

This was a close overnight spot for us after the Norwalk Drag Races. This is a very difficult weekend to find overnight accommodations relatively close to the track. While this facility is older but we found our room to be clean with hot water in the shower, and clean towels. The bed was very firm but we made do. The room included a mini fridge and microwave. The owner was very accommodating when we checked in and showed me to two rooms that were available and let me decide what I wanted. There is an indoor pool and a light breakfast to go but we didn't use either. The morning staff was also very nice when I checked out and shared that the present owner had only owned this facility for a year and that the previous owner had let it run down. The present owner is trying to improve rooms as budget allows. This is a small town and you shouldn't expect to find a super ritzy hotel. Bellevue Hotel may be a bit dated at the moment but but it was clean and met our needs. We will stay here again!

This hotel is horrible! If I could give negative stars I would. Worst place ive ever stayed. Paid $90 for a night in this nasty place. Nasty all around, no comforters, stains an blood all over our towels, floor was a complete mess, nasty stuff splatterd all over the walls. This is a hotel people live at its very obvious when we got back to our room people sitting around outside, people yelling down hallways, people sitting on the stairs, doors slamming. Ughhhdo not go here!

First time here and probably the best customer service we've ever had! The owner was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area and will be back ourselves. (Bryan S. )

Excellent service! I was very impressed by the management in this hotel. I got a upgraded room free of charge. Very clean hotel. It may be 30 minutes from Cedar Point but I will be staying there again! Highly recommended.

The staff here are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and the pool and hot tub are clean. The new management has completely changed this place around! I seen it a few years ago when it had different owners and would of never came back, but I happened to stay there with a friend recently and was amazed at the difference. 100% worth the cost.

We had recently visited Sandusky area for family gathering. We decided to stay at Bellevue Hotel as the rate was reasonable and we had kids and dog with us. The kids really enjoyed the pool and we had time to hang out outside. There is a nice green area behind the hotel where we took our dog for a walk. The hotel manager was very accomodating and professional. We really recommend this hotel for a stay.

Had to stay here last night due to my truck breaking down and I am glad this hotel is under new management, I stayed here last summer and now its like night and day. The rooms are so much better, and everything seems so much cleaner. The staff (especially the gentleman at the front desk) is really nice and welcoming. He explained how everything is changed for the better and sure was he right! Ill be back soon since cedar point is right down the street.

The hotel was really affordable and it was clean … Perhaps the other customers visited when there was different management… As far as what I experienced with the staff and comfort it was a good deal. Also Conveniently located near the freeway and has a decent restaurant across the street … Clearly I was hungry and tired of driving. I recommend this hotel for clean comfort at a bargain.

My fiance and I spent the night at Bellevue Hotel and Suites this past weekend, it was our first stay and most definitely our last. I can understand things being out of date but when the baseboard heat in the hall is falling off and the carpet is all wrinkled and coming up it's time to update. The "Game Room" consists of some old workout equipment from the 80's that's Covered in dirt and dust not to mention I had to use my flashlight app just to find my way down there because the lights were out. My bed had stains, toilet had pee all over the seat, trash on the floor, coffee maker had dead bugs all over it. No free Wi-Fi as listed, no complementary breakfast as listed (Not that I would have actually ate it) I understand the hotel is under new management but at what point do you stop renting out rooms that haven't been renovated? I had a lot of time to think seeing as I wasn't comfortable sleeping there. They are only hurting themselves by continuing to rent out rooms that haven't been updated. If you offer a service make sure to have those services available. The only pleasant part of my stay was that the gentleman running the hotel was very nice and apologetic. This hotel needs a lot of work and I won't be returning.

After calling and making reservation the lady called back 3 times for credit card info… Then after arrival charged a different rate, said he didn't know what to tell us. Being tired we took the room, well the hall light didn't work and neither did the key card. After finally getting into our room I checked it guess what BED BUGS. So my husband went to office they called the owner, he said that they had an issue before… But offered us rooms at n o charge… Don't think so, not gonna stay if I seen BUGS…

I did not like anything about it it was disgusting from the room to the pool. I had period stain on my sheet. The manager was very rude and the room was not worth the price. If you are ever in this early do NOT stay at this hotel the rooms look like they should be in Dollar Inn and the manager John is very rude to his customers. My brother stayed on the 1st floor and his toilet was stopped up and had holes in the comforter. The TV remotes don't work and the fridges neither. Mold underneath the sink and hair in the tub I'm not making this up this is TRUE… the hotel don't sell out bc ppl know it's a dump. Me not being from here did not know that that's why I stayed there and it was the worse hotel experience I've ever had. Please do not stay there not give dem ppl a penny of your money.

The staff are rude, the lobby smells like a litter box, and the rooms are disgusting. The carpet is moist and the rooms smell dusty. The beds are hard as rock. I wanted somewhere reasonably priced for a Cedar Point Trip and the price agreed upon and paid was not sufficient we paid an additional $133+ dollars to stay here. I will never be staying here again and I will NOT be suggesting it to people.

I found it to be very nice, clean and even though nothing is in close vicinity, we went to the movies and had a wonderful time. The only thing I have negative to say about it is that it is not close to anything, other than that I would definitely come back and would also refer it to others. If they are just looking for rest and relaxation/.

This pl, ace is a dump. The rooms are outdated, the "huge pool" is cold. The hot tub is about as warm as someone peeing on you and probably about as clean. We stayed there for work for a long time. We were put in a tiny room with a bed that was as soft as a jail bunk. No TV to speak of, nothing nearby and the staff was terrible as well. We too were told, after an extensive period that we would be charged an additional several hundred dollars to our card because of an issue that was addressed prior to us checking in almost two weeks before! We refused and the situation became heated. We eventually won out but then were essentially forced to leave the hotel in order to stay somewhere more welcoming. This property is run by a young Indian man for his parents, or at least that is what he told us. Clearly he is not very fond of Americans in general or the fact that he still works for his parents in the land of the free. His resentment of his job shows in everyway he interacts with you. Terrible. If you think you might want to stay at this dump, save your money, buy a sleeping bag and a small tent and go camp somewhere! There are much nicer and far more affordable rooms closer to things such as Cedar Point etc. Speaking of affordable, lol; this place charges room rates like they are a 4 star Hilton resort even though you are basically one step above a homeless shelter.

Checked in at 11pm with my sister (we are two girls at midnight), when we asked for an extra towel, he asked me why we needed it! Then sent his wife (who he says is the housekeeper) to spy on us. My other sister and brother in law were helping us take out luggage, and I get a call from them saying if we have the two more people staying there, there will be an extra $100 charged on my card (room itself was $120). He was the rudest person I have ever met, we all got so mad, we checked out immediately and tried to call the manager and he was ruder than the front desk guy. I am going to write to Better Business Bureau because there was some racial discrimination going on too. They need to shut down.

Imagine a hotel experience SO BAD. That Hotwire would break their infamous "NO REFUND" policy and issue refunds to our entire party. The staff informed us they caught the housekeepers not changing linen or cleaning rooms — so they'd been fired. Pubic hairs on toilets, dirty pillowcases, unvacuuumed rooms, 9 TV channels — now imagine bringing this to the staff's attention, and being met with profanity laced denial. Never again.

Very friendly and cortious staff. Big size rooms. Very nice to have a beautiful indoor swimming pool and very big hot tub/spa. Free access to wireless internet. The best part is this hotel have very nice and very economic restaurent onsite with lounge open late. This hotel have every thing I always need when on the road away from home.
