Nice and clean rooms, Basic amenities. Helpful and courteous staff and management. I would recommend it for a night or two. Located near many Historical covered bridges. Not far from shopping and food. Exit 228 Across from the Dennys / Flying J.

I feel for the staff dealing with the guests they get. Parents allowing their intoxicated teens to wander the halls. NO covid rules followed here. People not cleaning up after there pets ewe. Really. Kinda get they probably have homes that are worse shape.

Beg bugs and nasty blood stains.

If I could put a 0 star rating I would the front desk lady acted like she had no idea what was going on. When we booked our rooms online it said you had to pay 100% of cost then, when we got here she said we had to pay again, then some of our group had double charges on two different cards, she was completely rude and had no idea on what's going on. We got to our room paint missing on the wall the outlet was hanging out of the wall. Mold on the shower curtain. The AC barley worked the room smelled like lemon cleaner which was overwhelming, the TV quality was awful the window didn't open because it was broken the breakfast was pretty standard sugar muffins and cereal, went to the front desk to ask for more pillows and the front desk person said don't you already have pillows okay we wanted more, than the 4 crappy pillows. The list could go on, my advice you should stay somewhere else!

Room was old. Paint pedaling off the walls. Very low water pressure in the shower. Not noch light in the room. The whole hotel is run down. Outside doors does not lock anymore. Security bolt broken on room door. Breakfast was poor. Restaurant and bar was closed. We would not stay here again.

Carpet was dirty. Curtains were from the 70's. Room had no fig. Paint on the walls was brown a very depressing color. Chair for desk looked like one I threw away years ago. Air conditioner was nice and cold but had some weird stuff in it. All these items are tax deductible if you fix it. There is no way I would return to this hotel.

We were looking for a room last minute and Ramada was the only hotel with a vacancy. The room was great, the people were friendly. A little pricey, but like I said we were last minute guests. All in all a great experience!

We were desperate for a place to sleep for the night. Spent hours calling ahead and finally found the last two rooms at this lovely family run Ramada. The woman at the desk was so kind offering us anything we might need. I've never seen such hospitality at a hotel before. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was great and even had waffles. Any place that has waffles is A+ in our book. Thank you for such kind hospitality.

Booked online showed 2 queen beds, it is actually 2 full. Sheets and towels are stained. I went to Walmart and got sheets and towels I would not use theirs. I got bleach cleaner for bathroom. I can't wait until this night is over. Parking lot is full of guys drinking and partying. Not the hotels fault just the area. Very nice staff.

Very limited according to the reviews in this area. I chose them at a 3.5 rating. Mistake… was shown one room it had a really bad order. Moved on to a room that was just cleaned… um stained sheet, broken toilet seat, cobwebs in light, pillows size was a joke size of a couch pillow 4 of them. No fan in bathroom, poor lighting all over I see why now.

Booked online. Showed 2 queen bed suite with sofa sleeper. Upon checkin, it was just 2 beds. They offered a roll away, but there was absolutely no room to put it in the room. THEY DON'T HAVE ANY SUITES AS IMAGED ONLINE! Price was quoted $99 per night… charged $109.99 plus $3.30 per night TOURISM FEE… we weren't tourists, we were there for family event, plus $15, per night, pet fee… taxes are outrageous… $20 per night I had to beg for extra bedding, for kids to sleep on floor… Old, Dingy and musty Says have pool, it's filled with rock Too scared to try breakfast… Not worth the money! Beat part was the bed was actually comfortable.

I was passing through the state when my car broke down. I had to stay put while my car was repaired over the course of two days. The day my car broke down, it took hours to get help and my dogs and I were a mess from the heat/lack of water. The woman at the front desk (I never asked for her name) went above and beyond to help me get situated and was unbelievably kind. She offered my dogs and I water right away, offered to feed me every single time I saw her, and genuinely cared about my well-being. I had no issues with my stay and am so very grateful for the support she offered me in my time of need. Thank you!

This was the most disgusting place I ever stayed. It was filty. We were afraid to walk barefooted in rooms. Bed cover was so gross we took off bed. Shower curtain had brown smears all over. Mold in grout. Tv was distorted. Very dated. Hot / cold water with drastic fluctuation from scalding to ice water. Will never stay here again!.

Very dissapointed. The rooms smells bad. Mold, or mildew, could even be pet smells. Not good! My asthma is acting up so much. Wish I could leave right now!

Pros: They were available late on a Friday. Beds were good and made each day. Located close to everything. Cons: Shower was broken, no one was at the front desk multiple times. At check out clerk was sleeping in the back. Breakfast was cereal bagles and toast. They did not supply a Wi-Fi password at check in. Not great, but a place to stay for an "okay" price.

This is obviously a very old building but still fairly well kept and as clean as possible. Great value.

I picked this place due to its location and I stayed on the first floor. The hotel was old and had a smell to it. The staff was EXCELLENT though and the room, though obviously worn, was clean. The place just needs a facelift, I think. Otherwise, there is a lot going for it.

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel. It was with an extra charge. Only $15. Room was smelly, rugs should be removed and replaced by wooden tile floors. Easier to keep clean. Basic hotel but over priced for quality. Towels were thin and stained.

Does not look like the pictures on the website. Very outdated and there were hairs on our pillows and on the floor of the bathroom. The staff when asked about where to get ice and water were not pleasant to us. They looked at us like we were being ridiculous. Cleanliness could be taken care of better. Do not trust the pictures.

Was disappointed in the room quality for the price. Carpet was filthy and blanket. Wouldn't stay here again. The lady at the front desk was very nice.

Where to start… bed sheets/ blankets were stained, with burn holes. Based on the different colors of the multiple spots, I got the sense that the sheets were not cleaned properly. There was alot of human hair on the bathroom floor, even some hair hanging from the faucet. The blower had what appeared to be mold just inside the vent so heating my room for the night was not going to happen. Front desk staff did not help us feel welcome and I overpaid. Fool me once, etc.

I wish I had brought my own towels. Ours had yellow spots on them. Otherwise pretty much what you would expect for $70 I will say the owners were quite responsive. I called about a mess in the hall and went outside 5 minutes later and they were cleaning it up Beds were comfortable. Reasonable hotel for 70 or 80 but the rate on the door says 129 and it is not nice enough to charge that with a holiday in, express next door. But a word of warning, do Not try the americas best value next door. I had friends who left there even though they paid for their room.

Older property, some wear evident. Courteous and helpful staff. Their meeting rooms are still nice.

Very long hallway looks like something out of the shining. Rooms were better than expected and the staff was very friendly. Some small stains and flickering lights in the rooms however it was an enjoyable stay given the price! Rated four stars but the staff was persistent in making sure we had all we need/ wanted. It's definitely 5 stars from me.

Can't beat the price, nice, the breakfast poor could been better with some warm food besides waffles, but other then that the place is clean.

Just needed a place to crash overnight when traveling; stayed one night when going to my destination, and one more night on my return drive. I just wanted a clean place, with no bugs and no unwanted odors (ie rms that smell like cigarette smoke). This place definitely met and exceeded my standards, and it was in budget. Would recommend for passers-bys.

Great price. Friendly staff, if you see them. Hotel is dated and the carpet could really use some cleaning. Lacks amenities like pool or gym. Free hot breakfsst buffet pretty much made up for everything.

This hotel is clearly dated… But it is clean, the beds were very comfortable, the water pressure solid and the water ALWAYS hot… This is a very good value… Nice free breakfast too…

Don't stay here. Pubes and other hair in the bathroom. Sticky dirty carpet that was obviously not vacuumed. Dusty ceiling. The air unit is noisy dirty and ultimately will not cool the room. If you go to the front desk they give you a different room most of the same issues and you save $30 so you only pay $100 for a $35 room fit for a terrible stay. I'd comment on breakfast or shower but I wasn't feeling risky enough to bath in a dirty tub or eat food that was most likely contaminated by another filthy room.

The woman working the front desk was polite and pleasant. She went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. The hotel itself is slightly dated but still quite clean and located right next to the thruway. Would stay in again.

I mean, there isn't much to say. Got a clean room at a reasonable price. Wasn't expecting the fanciest hotel room. Bed was fine (a little tall). Didn't use the shower.

This staff was pleasant. However, the room was very dated, walls were cracked, microwave had finger prints all over the outside, chair appeared to be soiled, and towels were yellow. For the price, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Front desk staff was absolutely wonderful. Room, linens, floors all clean. Room smelled musty and tissue box was empty. Beds were okay.

It is showing its age a bit, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was decent, but had a limited selection.

Rooms need updated and the beds are pretty uncomfortable. They have free Wi-Fi and breakfast in the morning. If they make some changes to the rooms it could be a much better and comfortable stay. But overall it was not to bad. The people are nice and very friendly.

Easy to get to right off the highway. Large rooms with fridge, microwave, coffee pot and tv. Free continental breakfast with simple pastries and Belgian waffles. Unfortunately there was trash left in the middle of the floor from previous guests, there was no shower curtain, and only one towel in the room.

Avoid this dump! The property is rundown and not at all worth the rate. I stay in a lot of hotels and this place was just bad. Front desk lady was rude and clueless. The towels and wash cloths had yellow stains, shower was cold water, shower curtain was dirty and disgusting, toilet barely flushed, TV remote was sticky, bad smell in the hall and room. Overall dirty and dated room. Meets expectations of $30/night, not $120/night. No way will I ever stay here again.

Quiet. Clean. Close to highway but you couldnt hear it. Great pub with awesome food just over the bridge (less than 1 mile) clay st. Grille. Bed was comfortable. Staff was nice.

I am like most people. I found the Ramada online. I read the reviews and decided to give it go. It was a great location for me. Well, I can say the Ramada is not at all a bad place to stay. Rooms were clean, breakfast was perfect and the facilities were clean. I was quite pleased with the decision to stay here. Thank you Ramada and all the staff for such a wonderful stay.

Passed right by the place, even though I seen the name, because it looked like a dump. Was thinking there was a new one down the street. Nope, this was the one. This is about as budget as they come. Although, not a budget price by any means. Hallway stunk. Inside severely outdated and run down. Room is nice an spacious but that's the only good part about it. Towels had stains on them. Sheets had stains on them. Massive cracks in the window. Flooring coming up. Bath tub dirty. The room was dusty and the list goes on. Sad part is that I stayed in a 4 star hotel attached to a casino that was light-years nicer than this ramada, and was 60 bucks cheaper a night. Avoid at all costs and spend your money elsewhere!

Whether you are just passing through or a short term resident. I recommend The Ramada here in Ashtabula as a first choice. Awesome place and awesome staff. Highly recommended!

I was visiting some colleagues in Ashtabula Ohio. I will have to say that the Ramada here was a wonderful place to stay for me. Clean, quite and spacious. I loved it. Highly recommended for a great place to stay.

Room was clean and spacious. Wi-Fi worked fine. Price was good. Service was great.

NOT worth the price. Old, dated, dirty hotel carrying Ramada name but it's not actually owned by Ramada. Breakfast was not breakfast, not fresh. Surprising as there's a full kitchen that serves a decent dinner. If there's nowhere else to stay I guess it's fine but I won't go back. Front desk manager was very nice.

Once you get to the room it wasn't bad. Just don't be a drama queen about it for your money's worth. Run down but still got the job done.

I always thought Radisson was a good place to stay, and their price is not a cheap one. But this place was a low class hotel if I ever saw one. Took a shower and the water filled up in the tub, the light in the bathroom was so dim it might as well be off. The ice machine gave cold water. Their continental breakfast ends at 9 am on a sunday, if you are on a trip, people want to sleep in. While the beds were nice and comfortable it did not make up for everything else. The temperature outside was in the 90's and the resturant (if that is what you want to call it that) & bar had no air. Their card machine was out of ink so they directed you to the ATM. But the ATM ran out of cash. This was a nightmare. I will never stay here again.

This is def a low class hotel, I was very unhappy. The hotel is a dump and the employess are usless. Never stay here, you will be miserable. The rooms are dirty, very low water pressure, little towels, breakfast is a joke. The owner or manager should look in the mirror and get a CLUE.

Said they just remodeled the room yea that was a lie sink broken pretty bad out dated smelly not a good experience never again.

For $125 per night, they didn't even have a decent selection of TV channels to choose from, and the ones that we did have got horrible reception with a fuzzy picture. Brought movies and couldn't even watch them because they can't even provide a DVD player for their guests. Smoke detector in the room chirped ALL NIGHT, even after I requested a new battery and it was installed. Got no sleep. The toilet decided to stop flushing. The shower temp was not regulated and kept going from boiling to luke warm. People had a barking dog down the hall. Kids were running and yelling up and down the halls as early at 7:30 am. I had zero high hopes for the continental breakfast in the morning, so we didn't even bother and went out for breakfast instead. The front desk folks were friendly, but could not do much for us. I was able to get $35 refunded, but only because I had no where else to stay and couldn't cancel the room. If anything else was available, I would've left that night. By far the worst place I've ever stayed, and trust me, I am not picky. But it was one thing after another. Never again.

Clean, safe & affordable. We stayed one night. The people at front desk were very friendly & accommodating. Christine gave us a $20 discount without being asked because they didn't have our first choice room. The room was very clean & surprisingly quiet. Microwave & fridge in room. Nice TV. Not a luxury room, some minor repairs in the walls were noticeable & shower had rust stains, but new shower curtain & bed spreads. Continental breakfast was adequate. Recommend for anyone that doesn't need high end decor.
