If you are traveling for business, and require internet, you will be disappointed. I'm surprised that a hotel that is consistently full can't arrange better internet service. I have stayed here since may, and have been extremely disappointed in the Wi-Fi service. I work in telecommunications engineering, and rely heavily on internet use on a daily basis, and most of the time, I cannot use the internet.

Myself and my wife have stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Minot ND for extended stays for work the past couple of years. The staff has always been so helpful and make us feel so welcome. The facility is well suited for extended stays with free laundry services and full kitchens for preparing meals. The management and staff are top notch.

The location at 37 th street in Minot ND made my 3 week stay there awesome. Felt comfortable and welcomed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Value for items in the pantry was great. Very clean all around. Really did enjoy it.

Josh, the general manager accused me of smoking in my room after 1 month of living their… my 3rd day I told the staff my room smelled like smoke… but it is my fault… disrespectful and unprofessionalism at best.

This is a great hotel it is quite when you want to go to sleep the rooms are very nice the beds are super comfortable the staff is professional and polite all around a very nice place to stay.

Nice hotel, with comfortable beds. Convenient appliances, to be able to cook. Enjoyed my stay.

Great hotel. Clean rooms, quiet, and very good rates. The staff is wonderful and went above and beyond. I drove off and forgot my suitcase in the parking lot (it was early and still dark out). They found my suitcase, called me (two hours down the road headed home) and offered to take my suitcase and ship it home to me via FedEx, at my expense of course. It showed up a few days later, on my doorstep, in perfect condition. Very helpful and thoughtful. If you're staying in Minot I cannot recommend this place enough. Cheers-

Very good place to stay at a reasonable price. Also close to shopping and very good dining. Several banks also close by. Staff are freindly and very helpful.

Very helpful and friendly staff quiet property, although that might be due to the fact that there was probably only four or five other rooms booked there was only 5 cars in the parking lot. Close to shopping, nice large rooms with kitchens including refrigerator, ice machine, range, microwave, plates, drinkware, and flatware… oh and even a dishwasher. Beds were a little springy, and the TV remote was not functioning but front desk resolved issue quickly with a replacement. Would have given five star rating but only received for due to the fact that there is no breakfast served in the morning, completely understandable given the fact that there was virtually no one else staying in the hotel so making a big breakfast for guests doesn't make any sense when there's only five. Stayed 2 nights don't live that far away but needed to stay for the weekend and would not hesitate to stay again. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive in Minot.

The smallest room I have stayed in, with only a full size bed. Clean room but way under the quality level of suite that most Candlewoods are known for. I wouldn't suggest staying here.

Very comfortable beds. Rooms were furnished fantastically. Excellent access to items like coffee. Very comfortable!

The bathroom wasnt clean. There was hair everywhere in the shower and on the toilet I had to go buy lysol wipes and wipe it down before I would let my husband or daughter shower. Im not a germophobe either, but the whole idea of someone elses hair in there was kinda gross.

The king suite was nice with a full kitchen. No contential breakfast, but the fairly low price of the stay reflects that, so it's OK if that's what you are looking for.

Right across from Walmart and various restaurants. Room with King bed is clean and in good condition with modern appliances. The gym is better than comparable hotels. Rooms are serviced only once a week unless requested.

Enjoyed my stay, the whole place was clean and quiet.

Will never stay here again! I'm in the oil and gas business and over the years I have stayed at this location because we are on their vendors list. When we come in town we are here for business and need to stay in hotels for months at times. But this last time I stayed, I made the staff aware of our situation that we were going to be there for a while but was unsure of exactly how long. So we booked our rooms for a week at a time. When we tried to extend our stay another week we were told the hotel was booked, so we kindly went to another hotel for two days and returned. To avoid a similar situation we explained how it was a huge inconvenience for us and we were told it wouldn't happen again. After being there for 3 weeks it happened again. I talked to the manager and he said it was first come first serve! Shouldn't I be first since I was already staying there and given them 3 days notice that I wanted to extend my stay even further? Minot is in the middle of an oil boom and if it weren't for us, hotels in the area wouldn't survive! They claim to be an extended stay hotel. So I will be taking steps to remove our company from ever doing business there along with my colleagues. Mainstay offers the same amenities at a lower cost. Go there, avoid this place.

We had a "girls night out" in Minot. Stayed here 1 night. Close to stores and great restaurants. Friendly service, clean room and very relaxing. Next time we will be staying 2 nights here.

159 to 189 a nite please I could under stand if this was la or key west but its just a small town damn. Don't need to feed your crack habit on our expense.

I purchased a room via Priceline for $130 for a room with a queen size bed and when I arrived was given a double bed. I typically pay about $60 for a room of the same calibur anywhere else. When I called the young gal at the front desk was told "we're sorry, we're sold out of queen sized beds". She offered to give me $20 refund and I pressed the issue. She finally (after her arguing that this isn't HER fault this happened) miraculously came up with a room (right next door to original room) of a larger room with a queen bed. The pillows on the bed are a joke and the most uncomfortable thick cheap pillows ever. So. Apparently they are aware as there is a sign on the bed itself stating if you'd like feather pillows they are available down at the front desk. However, when I contacted the front desk they had given out all of the feather pillows and had no more. Thirdly, I requested a late check out and was told I could depart no later than 2:00 pm. Hours later I was called and told that 1:00 would be the latest and that the employee had made a mistake. All in all, a nice room but disappointed. It's the "little things" that make a stay nice and unfortunately I felt at odds with this entire experience and probably wouldn't return.
