Had a decent stay, just passing through town. Beds were fine, but I was crazy tired and could have slept on anything. My friend woke up from upstairs neighbors walking around. Breakfast was fine, continental, but they did have a Belgium waffle maker. Not bad if all you are looking for is a bed.

Would rate 3.5 if I could. Was generally happy with services I received. The free Wi-Fi did not work well in our room, which was a disappointment to us. The breakfast was good, and the staff very helpful. The specific room I was in didnt have the floors cleaned under all the surfaces so it was dirty under the bed. Wouldn't mind staying here again, my experience was somewhat positive, just had a little bad luck with my room.

Sketchy hotel at best! Entire hotel smelled old and musty. Room smelled like smoke despite no smoking room. Crazy small room; felt very cramped, even for a 1 night’s stay. Door to room didn’t even close right. Not only that, everything felt dirty. Light above bed was caked in dust! Walked out and got a great nights sleep at a different hotel. Would not recommend this hotel.

The beds were comfortable and we were glad to see it after a very loooong day of traveling. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Eggs would be great at "hot breakfast", maybe more than waffles and cereal and toast, one bed had a broken leg, but only needed one bed and had 2. Decent overall. Egg dude, eggs.

Arrived late and had no problems with my reservation. Front desk was awake, efficient and easy to work with. However, hot water was disconnected for the tub/shower. Was hoping for a fresher start to my morning.

The room was clean the air conditioning worked great the parking was convenient Interstate access and shopping and restaurants are nearby and we had no problems.

$206 and change with tax for 2 nights stay $90 a night before tax. This is at it's best a $65-$70 a night room. Breakfast was simple, only one waffle maker and a wait to use it, with few guests. Not a horrible place, but have had much better rooms for less money, hallway smelled musty with no pool? Room was poorly ventilated.

Dingy and dark rooms next to the freeway, lots of freeway noise. They must have rooms that allow smoking because as soon as I entered the lobby I could smell smoke covered up with air freshener. I asked for a non-smoking room and they allowed me to view the room before paying for it. My room did not smell like smoke which was a plus. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking looks a little sketchy but they did tell me that the police rule through the parking lot on the hour.

Stopped because of kids and long drive great place to crash for a cooler of hours. Breakfast was cheaply done.

Stayed there on way to Wyo friendly staff. Very accommodating. Clean well stocked room. Very pleased with breakfast area would stay again W.

It was a strange visit to say the least. Upon arriving, the first thing I noticed was a coffee cup in the parking lot. I was assigned a smoking room upon arriving. Now even though I don't smoke, I'm not one to complain about such things. In fact, I bought myself a pack of cigarettes to take advantage of this rare opportunity. After arriving in my quarters I spent a good hour and a half chain smoking while enjoying my free steak dinner. The walls were somewhat thin, but the gentle cooing of what sounded like ferrets in the room next door was enough to lull me into a deep sleep. I had a facintating dream that I was hiking across Virginia in the distant future in which I reached a mountain top from which I could see the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The next morning, I awoke to a strong rapping at my chamber door and was delighted to meet a kind burly Frenchman who informed me that we could take the pillows home. Shortly after, he ran out of the building after noticing a single spider. I had to check in for a second night after being immobilized by the all you can eat Rasin Bran. There was a wet spot in the parking lot when I woke up.

Very good sir. As a professional weasel handler, I have had the pleasure of making my way through the many intricate catacombs of France's North Weasel District. I once came across a load of 58 eggs in total, making it a loaf. Someone left a coffee cup on the ground. Grass shavings in the bed. I have handled every type of Weasel and even put them into pajama bottoms — the really silky ones that seem to almost shine when greeted by light. This one time I had actually fed 29 full spoons of honey to one Weasel and he stood straight up on his hind legs and made a huge roar at me. I was startled to say the least. It was a very good room and I enjoyed the free steak dinner. They also allow you to take the pillows home with you. Watch out for Robert the spider.

Very unclean, smelly hotel. Only small window air conditioners. We brought in our own blankets and pillows to sleep. The TV didn't work. You can hear everything! I would strongly suggest do NOT stay here.

The location was close to the interstate, but it was a but awkward to drive to it (you have to drive around a gas station). The room was fine (could have used more of a cleaning… there were facial hairs left around the sink from someone shaving previously, and the sink drain looked dirty, but perhaps it was stained). When the people above us came in you could hear them walking around and the floor squeaking. They started cleaning the room near us around 8am and around 7am or so you could hear people talking. We'd driven all day the day before, so it would have been nice to not have been woken up. The breakfast was nice (yogurt, cereal, waffles, bread, cinnamon rolls, juice, milk, etc. ).

Service was fine, the bathroom could have been a little cleaner in my opinion. Just hair in the towels and shower didn't drain well. The beds are really hard! And keep in mind $11 Nebraska hotel tax is on top of the price. Oh and if you're bothered by cigarette smoking, the nonsmoking rooms are right next to smoking. My non smoking room smelled nice, but it was strong in the hallways.

Me and my wife were passing through and just needed the hotel for the night. One of the front desk staff ladies (she seemed to be the one in charge) checked us in and was unusually unfriendly. I specifically asked her for a room with one bed. I quickly returned after opening the door to see that there were two beds. I politely explained that I had asked for one bed for me and my wife. She was condescending and told us that she had already booked that room and there was nothing that she could do. Then as I was talking to her mid sentence she turned to another guest and started talking to them. I was blown away. I guess you get what you pay for. It was a cheap hotel with poorly trained rude staff. The hotel also stunk and I felt like someone was going to jump out from behind the dumpster in the parking lot and stab me every time I was outside. Definitely lock your doors.

The lobby was actually pretty nice and modern, which carried over into the rooms. Everything looked clean and up to date. No complaints from me.

A great place to stay if you are on a budget. I stayed twice (on separate occasions) and both times housekeeping woke me up at 7:30AM, even though I had my 'do not disturb' sign on my door. Plenty of parking and the rooms were clean but basic.

Great service! Quiet clean smoking room. More than enough towels! Flat screen! Free Wi-Fi no code secure doors plenty of entrances! Truck parking is available! Come check it out! I will be back! Breakfast was different from other super 8 's. Customer recommendation: Breakfast should have cooked eggs and pancakes, but made to order! Variety on fruit! Breakfast is what you send us with a memory cause it affects our day as a person! Just saying! Try it just for a week to a month and see if Bussiness change? Oh here it is special OK, a Sauna? Seriously. # Super 8 what a treat, something to enjoy or treat yourself as a retreat to relaxation #! Plenty of lights here! I wish this place was in every state cause I switched to days inn cause they stay consistent. Lmao! I hate going to bed disappointed cause it was a bad choice but have to deal with it. Get your monies worth, we are the flow so keep the flow flowing!

We recently stayed at this hotel because of a wedding in town. Our room was 135. The whole room was very outdated and WAS very musky smelling and our bedding was damp. Also our room was next to the ice machine so we woke up several times to people getting ice at all hours of the night. Plus we arrived on Saturday at 3pm to drop our stuff off and there was a bag of trash near 1 of the guest back entrances and when we returned at midnight this was still there. We did go to the continental breakfast the next morning and all they had was toast, waffles, juice, and cereal. Nothing hot! Here is the kicker — they have a tip jar. I have never been to a hotel that has that — not even nice hotels who deserve it. There was also very strange workers here and I dont usually judge and im not that picky. Im 31 years old and travel often and this is seriously the 1st review I have ever put online. For the price that we paid, I was really not satisfied.

For being the lesser expensive place to stay overnight in North Platte, our one night stay was satisfactory. The staff was friendly, room was quiet, it was mildly musty but once we kicked in the a/c the air cleared up, and the free breakfast provided enough options to get you by. The rooms could use a renovation. Towels and sheets are worn and could be replaced. Overall, it's a simple yet accommodative place to stay if you need a bed.

It smelled badly of mildew. The price online said 65 but got there and it was almost 100. Could definitely use new towels and bedding.

Excellent service. Very friendly staff. The rooms are pretty much exactly as described, and actually above average for the price. I have stayed in a lot of hotels that charge more and deliver far less. We never hesitate to use this hotel.

I would give it zero stars if I could. Made a reservation, when I got there they said I did not have one even though I showed them the email with the confirmation number, the customer service was even worse. If you are looking for a place to stay in North Platte, do not book a room here to save money, its not worth it, there are plenty of better options with good management and clean for only a little more.

Summary: Not acceptable Reserved (and pre-paid) – Non-smoking, 1st floor, with Internet, queen room Got – Smoking, 2nd floor, No Internet, queen room My experience with this Super 8 was misleading, and I experienced poor customer service. I had specifically reserved a non-smoking room on the 1st floor and prepaid in advance. I suffer from asthma and apnea, and also had a considerable amount of luggage with me. After a long, exhausting drive, I ended up with a smoking room on the 2nd floor (no elevator). The stench of smoke was so thick in the room, I could taste it in my mouth and feel the burning in my lungs. I had a limited time to stay and sleep due to my travel itinerary, which was further compromised by my allergy to the smoke in the room. I had a miserable time trying to sleep in that room. I barely could. And the shower was old, peeling, and dirty. They also claimed to have High-speed Internet, which was another reason why I booked this hotel. Internet was not available or working at all. Since I needed this for work correspondence, that was yet another strike. At least the desk worker helped carry luggage up to my room. The only accuracy in my reservation was the queen bed. My request for a refund in any amount was denied, which I find unacceptable considering I did not get what I had reserved and paid for. I am extremely disappointed in the poor quality of customer service. I do not recommend this hotel.

This is a fantastic hotel. Called and was given the online price. The girl at the front desk blond was wonderful and polite. The room was neat and clean. Had shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Hairdryer supplied. The bed was comfortable. Also, had an iron, refrig, and microwave. Did not use TV so do not know if it worked. The WI-FI was fast and easy to use. Would go back! Price was reasonable and even inexpensive if you ask me. Thanks so much for your service.

Thank you for taking the time to write your reviews, we did check the facility out for ourselves. I was given a key to view the room. The hall to the room was dark, narrow with low ceiling. The rooms seemed to me to smell like a musty or mildew smell. The carpets were wet. Ceiling seemed low to me. We did not stay. The people that worked there were pleasant and eager to help.

You get what you pay for. It's just as nice as any other little motel. For $60/night our room had a queen bed, two chairs with a sitting table, a little writing desk, a nightstand, a mini fridge, a microwave, TV, dresser, and a bathroom. Everything was clean and fresh. The service was prompt and friendly.
