RUN RUN RUN, This MOTEL is the biggest piece of garbage in Sheridan Wy, don't even consider staying here, filthy, dirty, awful people. We might sleep in the car! Oh ya, the room rate online for the room we got was $70. We were charged $130. Watch your credit card statement, they type all your information in the computer including drivers license, then you also have to scan your card… WHY?

Great location off the highway easy to get to and close to everything. Very clean rooms and nice pool area. Staying here everytime I come to town.

There's a lot of people complaining about these rooms, but considering the price and location, I can only give 5 stars. Is it the Drake Hotel? Nope. But the family suite was under a hundred bucks for the night I'm not looking to move in; just need a place to crash for the night as we make our way home from vacation. Our rooms are clean, beds fresh, the pool is tidy. My only complaint is that the bathroom doesn't have an exhaust fan which can be very bad for a family that's been on the road for a week.

Very nice for the money. It's not fancy but one cannot expect fancy for under $150, the double room was half that amount. All rooms are ground level which is very nice for those of us who are older and have to carry our own luggage. Our room was clean and quiet, the beds comfortable with lots of different pillows to choose from. The breakfast was more than we expected for the price, cereal, waffles, hard boiled eggs and the expected rolls and toast. We will definitely stay again when we are in the Sheridan area.

I found that a lot of these are very misleading. Is this place the Hyatt nope by not by any means but if you're looking for a great lil inexpensive place this is for you.

Not disability friendly! Denied breakfast because son had a Service Animal. He was told he couldn’t have his Service Animal in the breakfast room.

Got into the room and the tub was not clean. One of the chairs at the table almost broke when my six year old sat down. The carpet from bathroom was loose and tripped my pregnant girlfriend. Was told by morning front desk that I could not eat in the room. The lady was very rude and unprofessional. I have stayed here in the past but I will not stay here again.

Small but clean. Breakfast was slim. We are down the road. To much food filled with preservatives!

Service was absolutely terrible. The front desk lady walked around just checking rooms all day. She's extremely rude and judgmental. I needed a new room key and she was no where to be found and when she finally came I told her I was little upset ive been waiting so long. Yes, I could've called but I did not see the sign that said "call for assistance" When I told what my room number she said "you have stains on your bed! " Now… A good host would give me new sheets right? Psh. For this lady that was wwwwaaaaayy… To much to ask for Further more. I had chips in my room I was still eating and she through them away. Never got new bedding, I had told her about the chips and the next day at check out she walked me to my room, 10 steps in front of me talking smack the whole time and when we passed the garbage bin she said. Oh and if you want your chips back they're in there! In conclusion all I got was two new towels and she changed my garbage liner and I was there from Sunday to Friday. The service is absolutely terrible and she was very cruel. 0 stars. Fire her.

Stay away. So many things wrong here. This place is dirty. There was gross debris on the walls. The bathroom has cigarette burns and is barely big enough for you to shower. After one night we decided to cut our losses and pay to go stay at Marriott. It was so bad we didn't even care that we had prepaid and were losing money. Oh, and they double charged our credit card. Terrible.

Gentleman that checked us in barely spoke. He ended up charging our card twice and grumbled when I pointed it out. Got to our room and dropped stuff off. Carpet was very dingy. We left for appointments right away and returned later that evening. We reserved 2 queen beds and did not get the type of room that we requested. When we pointed this out to the front desk person in the morning she stated that I was wrong and we got a large room. Let her know that I could grab my confirmation and she stated that full beds were the same as queen and again pointed out that we had extra floor space. Ended up checking out a day early because of the way we were treated by the staff. It was a horrible experience.

Staff was kind and helpful, pool was heated, breakfast was minimal but included waffles. Room was hot; we had to get a fan to cool down. Works for an overnight stay.

Booked a room for me and my 4 kids (on the Choice Hotels Website) A few hours before we were to arrive after traveling for many hours they called to tell me they had overbooked and that I would not have a room. What I also found out was that there was a soccer event in town and all the rooms around the area were sold out. I speculate that they had raised their room rates and sold it to someone willing to pay more than I did. Treatment of their guests in this manner doesn't go any lower. I am a Diamond member of theirs also. In reading other reviews I am seeing I am not alone in not getting the room I booked. Choice Hotels removes rooms from their website availability even if it is just sitting in someone's checkout cart to prevent overbooking so it was not the website but rather the hotel that took the room away from me.

Rea who manages the place was outgoing and super sweet! We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and quiet rooms. We slept very well in our relaxing bed. Cute little town with friendly people. Outdoor pool, clean rooms, and hot breakfast. Good prices too! Stay here and you'll be glad you did!

Choice Hotels needs to take a good look at this HORRIBLE property they allow to fly their flag and are associated with! The owner is Jahan Zeb Khan. EXAMPLES OF WHAT STAFF SHOULD NOT DO: (PER OWNER) … Honor reservations made online or match the rate, specifically TRIVAGO. Turn on the heat in the lobby. Set up the Complimentary Breakfast that is required and advertised Turn on the Coffee Machine in Lobby Charge $15 Pet Fee as advertised.

You go there because its cheap, and the accept pets, not because you're looking for amenities. Fairly clean rooms, meager breakfast, questionable pool, no hot tub. Its good for what it is. A discount motel. Wouldn't pay more than 80 though.

Stayed at this hotel on my drive back home for a night. I was pretty worried when I first saw the hotel because it did not look very nice. But I was shocked by how nice the receptionist was, also for the price I paid the room was well above what I thought it would be. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.

I stayed about a week and it was TERRIBLE. I do not recommend anyone staying at this pos hotel ever. The rooms are nasty and dirty, and smell like cigarettes. Our first day there was a pizza in the fridge still from the last guest which smelled horrid so who knows how long that was in there. We were only serviced once our whole stay, we ran out of towels, toilet paper, coffee and trash bags so we had to get our own. Which was fine, I have worked in this area so I had no intention of complaining. Yet here I am… We payed a week, checkout on Monday and the maids came barging in on Sunday claiming we were supposed to be out. So we had to pay another fee since they wanted to rip us off a day, at this point I still had no intention of complaining. Then here we are today after we left and the maid calls to accuse us of smoking in the room when we don't smoke. She claims she knew because she saw us spray febreeze, which I did because every time I walked in my room it reeked of cigarettes. And then she admitted to us that "oh I don't care I smoke weed" and asked if we could get her any. And I was absolutely appalled at the audacity. So I'm not sure if she was upset she couldn't get her habbits cared for that she decided to retaliate against us or what her issues were. So to top it off for Sunday, the cops were called on us. We spoke to the officer who was very nice and wonderful we explained what happened and he had cleared us.

Older place but very well kept. Friendly staff. Nice pool!

I was decent for what it was. The rooms were small but clean and the tv, AC, and Wi-Fi worked. Though it did look like things were resently refurbished. It had the average continental breakfast and an outdoor pool. Just watch out for the taxes there was a city, state, and hotel tax that was added to the bill. Overall it would be fine as a one night/two night place as long as you are not traveling in a huge group.

Rodeway Inn & Suites in Sheridan, Wyoming is a horrible place to stay. The staff member that checked us in was rude and incompetent. The rate I paid $97 was not what was confirmed on the reservation. For the price they charged, I could have stayed at the Holiday Inn or "at another hotel". The rooms are small, uncomfortable and the beds are lumpy. We did not feel welcome or comfortable at this motel. Are they in the hospitality business or something else? Choice Hotels should remove this motel from their listings. I will never stay at a Rodeway Inn again because of this bad experience at the Rodeway Inn in Sheridan, Wyoming. Please read travel and hotel reviews before making your reservations.

Stayed here because it was cheap and had a pool. Got a two room suite. Problem was the other room did not have AC and had to leave the door open, very small bathroom. Went to plug in my cell phone and found a pile of used condoms behind the nighht stand. I gave them my information so they would call me and settle the issues. They have not called since. There are alot of hotel motels in town make this your last resort.

In my humble opinion, the quality of this older, somewhat run-down motel does not rise to the standard one should be able to expect from a member of the "Choice Hotel" family.
