I can't say enough nice things about this place! Super clean, beds were mega comfy and good lord the hot water! There is only one disappointment… the restaurant was closed and I'm not sure if it's closed for the season. It would be nice if they made note of this information on their website, because that is one of the main reasons for the visit, but we'll be back.

The rooms are great at a reasonable price. I loved the old boarding house vibes. The shared bathroom was clean, the room was cozy and felt like home, Rosie was a delight and gave clear instructions on where to park and how to access the room, breakfast was nice. I would definitely stop here again.

Wonderful Hotel! Clean facility with accommodating and friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were lovely. Beautiful historic building. Staying there feels like you are visiting a friend or relative that happens to be an excellent housekeeper. The restaurant offered live music, excellent cuisine, reasonably priced wine and excellent service. The complimentary breakfast was great as well. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if in the area.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! They helped us out immensely by giving us an early check-in. The rooms were clean and spacious, the AC worked, not loud at all. The room had a shower in it and the toilet was in a room down the hall, never dirty or busy. Helpful and friendly staff. I would absolutely stay here again. I've had a lot of bad hotel experiences recently, so this hotel restored a bit of confidence in me!

Awesome unique place. Really enjoyed it. Stayed there in July 2018. The Mayor runs the hotel. It has beautiful decor. Such a cute town. One of our Pittsburgh Steelers was from there. We enjoyed the candy store across the street. The Mayor showed us the Speak Easy in the basement. So cool!

I really like this place! Its charming and has so much character. I subtracted 1 star only because it was not made clear on the website that the room I had reserved had to share a bathroom with 3 other rooms. This wouldn't have been a big deal if I didn't have IBS. Sharing a bathroom is embarrassing and when I asked about a refund because of this I was told that they would keep a portion of what I paid. I did not eat their "continental breakfast" as it was a very small selection of fruit and cold cereal. Luckily there was a very good restaurant down the street from the hotel.

The food was very good. The wait staff seemed to be good. It seemed they were a little slow but I think that was just because of the size of the table. Over all it was a very nice restaurant.

By far one of the BEST experiences as far as a hotel/motel is concerned! The owner was a real standup guy, super friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were set. My boyfriend and I had a hell of a time finding somewhere to stay after leaving Yellowstone so late. It was 1AM and this guy (Myles: the Owner) not only answers on the second ring, but he drags his butt out of bed, and still manages to be full of personality while checking us in! And the rooms are amazing! Beds are SO COMFORTABLE! In fact, the entire ambience was something out of dream! We will definitely be back! Thank you for the great night’s rest, the unparalleled customer service, bust most importantly taking what was quickly turning into the worst night of our cross country road trip and turning it into one of the best! Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

We honestly felt a bit bad that we were only there one night. If you plan on traveling from Yellowstone to the Black Hills, make sure to book a room here. I do not believe you're going to regret the experience. Any modern amenities not present are easily offset by the ambience. So glad we went!

This is a great hotel for a reasonable price. The rooms are quaint in a good way and the beds are very comfortable. It is historic and that is notable in the structure of the rooms and building. It’s also notable the aroma detected when first going upstairs but disappears before reaching the rooms. This even a good location to stay when visiting Yellowstone: although about an hour farther away from the park than other locations, the price was about one third what we would have paid staying in Cody. I recommend booking directly with the hotel, not through a booking service as the rates were notably lower booking directly with the hotel. Each room has its own shower and some rooms have their own toilet, others share a restroom. We stayed in a room that shared a restroom and were pleasantly surprised by the impeccable restrooms. The staff is fantastic, very friendly, and informative. Even when due to poor scheduling on our part, we needed assistance, an employee immediately dropped what she was doing and helped us with a positive demeanor. The included breakfast is good and other reviews praising the banana bread are right on. I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler in northwest Wyoming.

Stopped in to the Speakeasy restaurant when passing through town. What a pleasant surprise. Greeted like a friend, very friendly and professional service. Delicious meal from the perfectly flavored whipped butter and fresh breads to the sauces, wonderful preparation and quality meats.

This is a completely delightful place. The hotel rooms have been nicely restored in this classic 1914 building (the tin ceilings are outstanding). If you are looking for a great deal in a beautiful, historic hotel complete with the expected modern amenities, character, good food, friendly and attentive staff, a speakeasy, secret tunnels and a ghost, this is your place! Located in charming Greybull. Make a point of staying if you are in the area.

Really cool place. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable about the history of the building. If you’re going to or from the eastern entrance of Yellowstone, don’t bother staying in Cody… stay here. Cool town, cool hotel, very un-touristy.

What a great hotel. Veteran friendly. They where very accommodating and even gave us a Veteran discount. This is the crossroads to many places. Everyone should visit this place on there way to Yellowstone!

I believe this is me second-ever Google review. Miles (owner/operator) is great, his welcoming nature alone is enough to like this place. Definitely a historic hotel, with that historic feel, but very cool if you're open to it. The banana bread at breakfast is also great. Great place to stay, glad I did.

Lots of history here with a Speak Easy underneath the hotel. The owner is the Mayor of Greybull and very friendly. I recommend.

I've stayed at this hotel several times. It gets better every time. The owners have done a great job at updating the rooms. It is a very old building which is cool but can be hard too. You can hear people walking around. I have not met any ghosts. Awesome dinner place.

This hotel is awesome! The employees are helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and historic, I loved it! Nice to walk around town from hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here on the way out of Yellowstone. Nice little town with several restaurants, including Lisa's which was delicious. The room was clean, with lots of old-style character. Highly recommend. TV and Wi-Fi in room.

We didn't stay here but ate dinner here and enjoyed an espresso drink and tea on a Sunday morning. Best dinner in town Thursday-Saturday night, with live music. Myles was very nice to my family and let us look around the hotel — rooms look very nice, some are large suites. We concluded that we will definitely stay here next time. I hope everybody supports this wonderful establishment.

The customer service here was amazing. The hotel is small and cozy. It reminded me of staying at my grandma's house rather than a strange hotel. It's not the fanciest, but it's the closest to home you can get on the road. Homemade banana bread for breakfast was delicious. I was very happy with my experience.

My partner and I are enjoying a three night stay at the Historic Greybull Hotel. Even with the cheapest rooms, the staff has been excellent in their care, and the room lovely. We expected the separate bathroom down the hall and the shower in the room, as we chose the economy room. This has in no way taken from the stay. Clean, comfortable bed, a nice breakfast, and historic atmosphere made this a great stay. Only an hour from Cody.

Take a walk into the past. Reminded me of the old west. Accommodations were clean and old. I loved it. It was an experience. Staff was great. If you want safe, go to super 8.

Cute historic hotel with a decent price and light complementary breakfast. You share a toilet with the floor, which was a bit different than we're used to, but each room has its own sink and shower. Somehow the toilet thing didn't end up bothering us much since it was usually empty. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they do their best to ensure you have a great stay. The rooms were very clean, which was very nice and I had been concerned about since it's a historic hotel. We only stayed a night on our way through, but it was perfect for what we were looking for. I would stay here again if coming through. Sorry the room is a mess in my pictures. I snapped them on our way out.

If you want to re-live the feel of the old West, this hotel will do it. Private rooms with a shower but a shared toilet for guests (separate men's and ladies). It's like being in your own Western movie!

Greybull is certainly off the beaten path — but if you find yourself between Yellowstone and the Bighorn's this place is worth the stay. I travel for work and stay in hotels about 80-120 nights per year. I travel to the Cody/Greybull area as my company is based here, and having stayed at 8 different hotels in the area the Historic Hotel Greybull truly stands out above the rest… including the hotels in Cody that charge 4 times the price. The Historic Hotel — and more importantly, the owners Myles and Lori treat this place very similar to a Bed & Breakfast. This is what the feel is when you walk upstairs to your bedroom with the key in the door and the door open. The hotel is full of vintage products and antiques. My first night here, there was a desk from the late 1800's. I knew this because my mom has the same desk, which belonged to my great grandmother. The cafe on the main floor is great, but the Speakeasy restaurant in the basement was truly a stunning sight. From the silverware that I am sure was found at an antique store, to the glassware, everything is old — but first class. The food was excellent… from the Prime Rib Chicken Fried Steak, the twice baked potato, and even the honey butter for the bread. For those who feel it is 'too old', HD TVs, free Wi-Fi still occupy the rooms. And let me say — the beds — the best beds in a hotel I have slept in possibly ever. Thank you Myles & Lori for a great time and I look forward to my next trip up to the area. Chris.

Great place, nice rooms, nice people, good Wi-Fi! We stayed here one night during our road trip and this was a good deal. There is also some breakfast food in the morning.

We stayed at this great hotel on the way back from Yellowstone; we booked it late and needed to get off the road after a long day of driving. Myles quickly accommodated us, telling me the key was in the door and room was ready; that simple, no credit card just honesty and great people. I stay at hotels from Washington state to Florida, and I sincerely mean it when I say this hotel stands out in a wonderful way! Plus, great rates, cool historic rooms/speakeasy restaurant, and down to earth great people. We will be back, thanks again Myles and Lori!

This is really a historic hotel. Loved it. Rooms were really antique. Enjoyed our night stay. Beautiful small town. Coffee and breakfast were nice.

This place is awesome! It has so much character, and the lobby and rooms are very charming! Old fashioned, with lots of cool old stuff to look at, yet modern and up-to-date. Rooms have TVs and refrigerators and free Wi-Fi is available. Would DEFINITELY recommend, and will be looking for excuses to come back to Greybull so that I can stay here again!

They got it right. This place actually makes me feel like I have gone back in time. Yet, I can still watch videos on YouTube from the Wi-Fi in my room. Modern convenience, antique furniture, and antique hospitality. I'd never stay anywhere else in this town.
