Trudy is the best, we’re here for our 2nd year of Longmire Days, and she’s so accommodating. We cracked the windshield on our car, leaving us without a vehicle for the day and she offered us hers! Luckilly, the motel is close enough to downtown that we just walk where we want to get!

Trudy! I had such a great time talking with you last year. You made me feel at home. I cycled in on my cross America tour. I needed not only a nice, clean place to rest my aching muscles, but also someone to just sit and have a conversation with. I hope to come back to Buffalo one day at least to say hi!

Very clean, very cute. Owner is charming. Great price. Buffalo is much quieter and more pleasant that Gilette. Restaurants and amenities within walking distance. I was very happy and would definitely come back.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for, A place to crash before the next leg of our road trip. It was clean and the artistic surprises were so fun. It is outdated but fun. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I booked a room over the phone so was not sure what to expect. The minute I entered the room I knew I made a good choice. It was cool and clean with a firm bed and newer tub shower. The A/C was quiet and cold. The owner is such a nice lady and really takes pride in the place. Parking may be a bit tight for larger rigs but she will find a place for you. Definitely would stay again. Good value.

Great place for a mid trip overnight or as base camp for enjoying near by attractions. The morning meal offered a beautiful moment to enjoy the reminder of home. Real cups and plates completes the feeling of home.

GREAT place! Very reasonably priced, very clean, and I LOVE the decor! The Owner is absolutely amazing! We were there 2 years ago when a backpacking trip went awry, and when we came back through this year, we made it a point to stay here. She was very fun to talk to, and gave great advice about where to eat in the area. They are also dog friendly, and there is a park just across the street to take them to!

Love this place. The boss lady has landscaped and decorated this mid century gem with bohemian hippie kitsch original creations. I've done my best with photos to support my review: (oh and you will really really like the town of Buffalo)

Jennifer and I stayed here on our way to Wyoming, very pleasant folks, and accommodating.

We were on our way to Yellowstone, and booked a room here to break up the drive. It was nice and clean, and the owner was really friendly & knowledgeable. Bed and pillows were comfortable, and slept very well throughout the night. We're glad we stayed here and will stay in the future if we're ever in town again. I asked for a scenic drive on the way to Yellowstone and she suggested going through Big Horn National Forrest. Great drive and views! Thank you very much.

Our church, Union Congregational UCC, put up the directors of a world traveling choir last night at the Big Horn Motel. Their bus driver said that in his 12 years of driving the choir, this was by far the best accommodation he has stayed in. It was all the thoughtful touches that made the room extra special. The owner is caring woman, as well as a talented artist. The motel is very clean, cute, and fun! Thanks again, Rev. Sheila Naismith.

Planned a long road trip to buffalo WY. Searched rooms in town & came across Big Horn Motel with excellent reviews. Booked our stay & arrived today. Arrived after a 17 hour drive & had Excellent service, friendly staff (privately owned and operated I believe) exceptionally clean rooms (we travel a LOT & stay in a variety of hotels, resorts, time shares etc. And this place is by far the cleanest hands down. Small cozy rooms (& shower only fits 1 but water pressure & hot water were AMaZINg) perfect for us needing a clean place to sleep for a few days. Parking is steps from your room and minutes off of highway. Great location! Would definitely recommend Big Horn Motel all day long to anyone traveling. Very pleased guest so far. Oh and almost forgot a very important and crucial part of traveling, the beds & pillows are very comfortable! Hard to come by. You can absolutely see the pride that the owner takes, as if they were her own home.

The Big Horn Motel is our favorite hotel of our 2014 bicycle ride across America. The room was outstanding — very comfortable, clean and spacious. Trudy was an "unexpected generosity" experience. Every time we describe our ride to others, we mention our stay at the Big Horn within the first five minutes. We arrived wet from the rain, and she went out of her way, way out of her way, to help us and make our stay outstanding. We enjoyed spending time with Trudy, and loved her art work.

Very nice rooms. Refrigerator and micro-wave in all rooms. Felt good about staying at a 'Ma and Pops' as opposed to a National chain. They always appreciate your business.

Bighorn Motel was a charming, spotless and conveniently located place for us to stay. Just a short walk to downtown shops, restaurants and bars.

Room was nice and clean, the owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Best part for me was the shower; no low flow nonsense here, high volume, high pressure. Wonderfully refreshing experience after a long day of hiking.

Clean room, and the staff were friendly. Good location for downtown access. The air conditioning and fridge were loud, and the beds not the most comfortable. Bit expensive for the value.

I am very impressed with this motel. It is not like the big ones, but it is homey, and has all the room amenities… microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, hair dryer… and the cutest little front porch to sit on in the evening… complete with chairs and a porch light. I'm on my way to Montana but when I go home, I plan to stay here again.

Of course I love it, it's mine and I strive to please you with cleanliness and affordability. Give us a try, we really do care. May 2016, We listened to you, have made many upgrades and changes. The single queen rooms are still small but lovely. We hope you will check us out and try for yourselves.

We spent 1 night in the Big Horn Motel and found it very clean. The beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable as well. And the folks that owned it were very friendly.

Stayed here for one night a few weeks ago. The Big Horn was clean, quiet, and close to everything in Buffalo. Great spot.

My wife and I travel through here once a year on a road trip to see family. We've stayed here four times now and are always very happy with the facilities and the service. The owner is a very sweet older woman who loves to talk and help out in any way that she can. The facilities are older, but are in tip top shape and very clean. I am always overly satisfied with my experience here.

I strongly recommend the Big Horn Motel for anyone planning on traveling to Buffalo Wyoming. I enjoy a "mom and pop" place more than the impersonal, unfriendly, larger chains. Our room was very clean, very quiet, and very affordable. The owner, "Trudy", was extremely friendly and very knowledgable about the area. We especially enjoyed the office area, which was filled with original works of art (very nice) and an assortment of "found items" native to the area. Trudy provides refrigerators and bar-b-que grills for her guests convenience. I have stayed at the Big Horn Motel in years past and would stay again and again. Thanks again Trudy! We'll be back soon.

Our stay at the Bighorn was wonderful. We had a rather large group and Trudy went out of her way to accomodate us and add a rather "personal" touch you would never find in a large hotel chain. Super cheap and super friendly. Make sure to bring ear plugs. Place is noisy.
