Beautiful setting. Lovely sunsets from my balcony. Attractive weight room and pool. Good location for Petoskey stone hunting forays.

Beautiful resort in a beautiful setting in Northwest Michigan. The staff is very nice and always ready to help with whatever you need. We came as part of a golf trip and the golf courses are unbelievably beautiful and challenging. Michigan is a golf destination that should be part of your golf vacation plans every year! Can't say enough good things about the resort, hotel and their properties.

Friendly staff love the penthouse suite. Walking distance to a great bar. View is awesome just love the feeling of being at home away from home.

Bay Harbor Village Hotel and Conference Center is a wonderful location for a weekend stay or a large Wedding. They have multiple locations for Weddings that can suit your needs. Whether you want indoor, outdoor, or a mix of the two you can find it here. The views are spectacular from all directions. You can't ask for a better location for your Wedding day needs.

Clean hotel with exceptional views. I love it here. The staff was helpful & more than accommodating. I really enjoyed our stay & the location of this hotel. Plenty of food options within walking distance. & there are several charters that leave from their harbor. We brought our own boat & renting a slip was easy & reasonably priced.

Bayharbor is a long time favorite place to go for views, hotel, condos, bars and dining. There is a great Marriott managed property at the resort (love Marriott) and amazing golf with canyons and cliffs that runs along little traverse bay. Good pool on site and plenty of activities to do in the area.

We came back to celebrate our one year anniversary. We got married at this resort last year. Both years we had a beautiful parlor room overlooking the bay or marina. This year, the service was so good during our stay. Reed specifically went above and beyond for us. I definitely think they're making a lot of improvements!

Spacious room with living area, master suite, full kitchen, Murphy bed in dining area, half bath off living area, and wonderful view. Walking distance to a couple dinner options and shopping in shops below at street level. Parking is a bit unique. You park on the street or behind the hotel. The TV is a bit outdated, but didn't watch it anyway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

We had a beautiful room and the views are fan tastic. If you get a chance to eat lunch at the vintage get their burger it's one of the best I ever had.

We held our wedding ceremony on Sunset Beach through Bay Harbor Village. It was beyond beautiful & the staff were AMAZING. Ashley, our assigned wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. She set up all of our decorations and directed guests to the beach. She even took care of our Shot table and the clean up! It made our day so much easier and stress free!

My husband and I visited over Memorial Weekend, participting in and attending the inaugural Taste of Bay Harbor. From check in to check out, everything was effortless and the room and grounds beautiful. Service was exceptional — we cannot wait to go back.

Room was really cool — like a studio apartment. When I heard we were getting a Murphy bed I was initially hesitant but it was super comfortable and easy to set up. We wanted to stay longer.

These are views of Little Traverse Bay from our room's balcony. Very nice rooms. We had a 4th floor suite. Full kitchen, fireplace, washer/dryer. Like an apartment. Nice.

Went to a conference which wasn't well marked. The directions I had said it would be downstairs. Nope, it was upstairs.

Good: the room was well appointed and it was quiet. Bad: Where to start? We were given the run-around while trying to book the room for a cousin's wedding. And when then, after getting the reservation in writing, it was still screwed up. It took weeks (literal weeks) to get the correct booking. We had booked both rooms of a suite. We were only told of the one room on arrival, so we made it work (weird layout, it could have been mistaken for a suite, and we were really tired). It wasn't until we get back from a late night family thing that we started looking around. My room key had stopped working on "our" door, but somehow worked on the next one over. Open that one, empty beer cans everywhere, toothpaste in the bathroom, unkept bed, etc. It looked like I walked into someone else's room. We walk down to the front desk only to find out that it IS our second room. Housekeeping not only didn't open the joining door, but didn't even clean the second room! And we didn't even find out until my room key started acting funny… They didn't have a spare suite and didn't have any housekeeping staff on, so we made it work in the one room for the first night. Housekeeping would take care of it "first thing in the morning", which turned out to be around 11am. We got the second room refunded for the first night (or so they say, it's not been long enough to see the charge on my credit card yet). Also, no continental breakfast.

The atmosphere was energetic yet calming. I went with my husband and 2 small kids (both under 3) and we had a great time. Shopping and dining were steps away. We will absolutely stay again! And again and again. ;)

I went through 5 wedding coordinators and each time someone new came aboard, it was up to me to contact them and explain my wedding plans and expectations. It was absolutely the worst addition to the current stress already including in the wedding planning process. Finally we landed on the fifth coordinator, Melina, and my wedding was her first wedding to head up ever. I am not exaggerating, she almost ruined our wedding day. My entire bridal party did her job because she told me it wasn't her job to be involved the day of the wedding. The ceremony began at 3:00 and she didn't arrive to the venue until about 1:30. Because of her lack of care and awareness of her job obligations, I wasn't able to get ready with my best friends and have the "fun getting ready it's my wedding day" morning. Instead they were putting out several fires. Tables didn't fit inside the tent we were told to order, not enough chairs were delivered, no seat covers for the chairs, other vendors were late, people didn't have any direction, etc. It was an absolute mess! If it wasn't for my amazing friends sacrificing our "wedding morning" together, Bay Harbor would have ruined my wedding day. Now, I'm not an angry person who enjoys to write nasty reviews, I am NEVER that person. But people need to know, if they want the wedding of their dreams…bay harbor village hotel is not the place for that.

The rooms are condos with the 2nd bedroom, which is a windowless room with just a bed, accessible through an exterior door or a lockable interior door adjoining the main room. At 10:30 PM, a couple "checked in" to the 2nd bedroom off our room and started having loud sex, waking our 3 year old up. I called the front desk who said someone had rented the 2nd room, which makes no sense because it doesn't even have a bathroom. What a joke.

We had a 2 Bedroom and Den / 3 Bathroom Suite. It was spacious and well equipped. It was clean but the carpet in the entrance needs to be replaced. We would stay there again.

Was to be a romantic getaway which I paid extra for but never received. Rented the Parlour suite. The fireplace would not stay lit… food in the freezer from previous guests, the price on the suite changed twice and totally different from when I booked the suite in the first place. The master bathroom shower leaked and when trying to clean up the water we found hair allover the floor. Very disappointing!

We went to Vintage for dinner. The food was spectacular! We started with the charcuterie board. Everything was great! For main courses we had the Ribeye and short ribs. Again, no complaints. Definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, they did not feel it a necessary to review their cancellation policy and require a full deposit to stay at the hotel when booking over the phone. I've contacted the BBB to ensure that their practices do not go unnoticed. I would be 100% positive you want to stay prior to booking anything at this hotel. Dishonest and wrong.

We spent two nights in the hotel the weekend of 6/13/14. Actually, it turns out that "hotel" is a misnomer for the place. The rooms are privately owned and are rented by the "hotel. " Shortly after we checked out, I received a call on my cell phone at Harbor Springs airport saying a cup was missing from the room; no kidding; a cup! I told the caller we left the room intact. We flew back. Upon landing in Troy, MI I had a message on my phone implying that we had "stolen" a cup from the room! I was extremely upset. The next day I wrote the General Manager and demanded an apology in writing. I was totally prepared to file a formal complaint in absence of an apology. The general manger was quick to extend a written apology. But it did nothing to change my feeling. These people either have some dishonest employees or dishonest condo owners. We went there on recommendation from a friend that had stayed there. We will never be back to the place nor would my friend who made the recommendation. Essentially these people ruined an otherwise a beautiful weekend for me and my wife. Avoid the place at all cost.

We stayed at Bay Harbor Village Hotel with a group of 26 people for 3 nights this past July and had a fantastic time. The rooms, ambiance, and service were outstanding. I worked with Megan and Melissa to coordinate the rooms, meals, and activities, and they were such a joy to work with! They were always very helpful, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile on everything.

Fair warning they charge you a deposit for the full room price when making a reservation. They have a 20% cancellation fee, so if your plans change nothing you can do since they have your money. They were not exactly friendly when I cancelled my reservation. I had stayed here before and the rooms are pretty nice, but the price point is high compared with other hotels in the area. I would suggest staying at one of them.

We were looking for a special place to have a family members wedding. While researching every wedding venue/resort in Northern Michigan we discovered The Bay Harbor Resort and Marina. The resort layout is breathtaking and delivers pure class. The connection between the Resort, Village, and Marina, created a seamless experience. The units were nicely furnished, had great views, and were operated by the most helpful staff which took care of all of our needs. What an "over the top" way to spend such a special day together. The memories of gorgeous accommodations, beautiful mega yachts, and amazing sunsets, will be with us forever.
