Our stay could not have been more pleasant. The Inn Keepers were so inviting and made us feel right at home. Our room decorated so tastefully was a home away from home. I never sleep through the night when away but this time I woke up rested and sad to say good bye. Thank you for a fabulous night away! Just what we needed! — The Coleman’s.

Everything about this place is perfect, from the rooms to the hosts; even the location is really great. The accommodations are so lovely, thoughtful and beautifully decorated. Don't even get me started on the amazing breakfast we woke up to each morning! I really can't say enough great things about Hart House. I just can't wait to stay here again.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend — our 2nd time — there isn’t enough space to praise everything but the rooms are comfy-breakfast — just the best — local fruits and veggies — beautiful presentation and Patrice and Al and helper Amanda don’t miss a thing — we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and fireplace both nights! Al and Patrice have provided a home away from home! We celebrated our 4th year wedding anniversary here and were not disappointed! Centrally located this 6 bedroom home is luxurious with linens, towels and pillows. Their three course breakfasts were amazing! They have also included a snack and beverage bar for all the guests.

The guest home is very clean, the owners and house manager are friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic, and the patio guest gatherings are pleasant and enjoyable! I would highly recommend and will return for another anniversary!

Everything about the Hart House is wonderful. They’ve thought of everything. And the location cannot be beat. Great for bike riding, sight seeing, a day at the lake. We were always glad to get back to the quietness of Hart and time in the hot tub each night. Patrice and Al (and Amanda) all made us feel so welcome. Can’t wait to go back! ❤️

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay with Patrice and Al! The Shelby Suite was beautiful. The hot tub and fireplace were the perfect end to a wonderful night! Patrice's suggestions for a local winery and Al's suggestions for food were spot-on! And, the breakfast. Dear God, the breakfast. They start you with dessert, which is amazing. The second course was fruit of some sort and the final course was beyond belief! It was definitely enough for multiple meals! Plus, they had cookies for you every night, all kinds of snacks and drinks and found every tiny way to make your stay perfect! I can't wait to go back!

Very nice B&B. Breakfast is amazing. Drinks (coffee, tea, water, pop) and snacks (trail mix, chips, cookies, dried fruit) are provided in the common areas.

I’m hesitant to rate my experience at Hart House because I don’t want to share! After a random internet search I stumbled upon Hart House and how lucky was I? Al and Patrice out do themselves with every detail to ensure their guests’ ultimate relaxation. Our breakfast was absolutely amazing! The new outdoor patio and hot tub were the perfect end to a day full of activities we enjoyed in the surrounding area. Make sure you purchase their signature scent, Coco Mango, in a bar of soap crafted by a local artisan. We are already planning our next trip and hope to return annually.

The most amazing B&B ever! Gorgeous house, amazing hosts, delicious breakfast! Seriously the attention to detail here is SUPERB! You will feel right at home and you will seriously thank yourself for finding the gem and booking here! I wish we could have stayed longer, don’t want to leave!

We stayed at Hart House for an anniversary getaway weekend. We stay at Bed and Breakfasts for each anniversary, but this was probably our favorite yet. Innkeepers were SUPER friendly and accommodating, house was gorgeous, and breakfasts were amazing. We would absolutely stay again.

Five women celebrated our collective birthdays by treating ourselves to a weekend at Hart House. Gorgeous newly restored and preserved 1904 home, welcoming and passionate owners/hosts, the softest sheets, fun hot tub and an outdoor gas fire patio. Breakfast was gourmet, 3-course delicious. Rooms are comfortable and each unique. We loved every luxurious aspect. Congrats Patrice and Al!

This is the coziest bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. Al and Patrice are incredible hosts and they went over and above to ensure we had everything we needed. The house is beautiful, and the outdoor space with fire pit and hot tub is inviting. Also, the breakfasts are 5-star, a meal you would not get anywhere else.

My wife and I stayed here on our wedding night, and have nothing but positive things to say after our experience! Patrice and Al are great people who shared their love of the house and food, and provided top-notch customer service. As a couple in our early 30's, and having lived and travelled to many places, we have experienced a wide variety of both accommodations and service, and Hart House ranks among some of the best we've experienced. They were flexible with our check-in, being that we wanted to leave a vehicle there earlier in the day and arrive later at night. Upon check-in, Patrice specifically remembered my wife's dietary restrictions, and we were surprised with a room upgrade. The house had a warm, charming feel, and the room was well decorated and upgraded with modern conveniences like multiple phone plugs and outlets, and emergency/safety equipment. The three course breakfast was fantastic, and it was hard to believe when Patrice mentioned that she does not consider herself a chef. Could have fooled us! We recommend the Hart House as a great place to stay, especially for couples. It's even worth going a little out of the way for.

We rented a room for our honeymoon (young couple in our 30's) and the food, service, and accommodations were pristine! We asked if we could check in early due to it being our wedding day and they were so helpful in showing my fiancé around and letting him know how to get in and sign up for breakfast even though they said we couldn't yet get into the room. When my fiancé got there though they actually surprised us with an unexpected upgrade and we were able to drop our stuff off! Over and beyond expectations! Patrice somehow remembered that I was both gluten free and dairy free when I mentioned it several months back when we first booked. She was very accommodating in making me something I could eat. The breakfast was a three course meal and was absolutely delicious with local and seasonal ingredients. We both would highly recommend anyone exploring the area to stay at the hart house with their excellent customer service, attention to detail, updated amenities and exceptional food!

My husband and I love this bed and breakfast. The house has been recently renovated, bringing in modern conveniences while keeping the historic charm of the building. The innkeepers, Al and Patrice, are wonderful, as is Patrice's cooking, from fresh baked cookies at check-in and in the evenings to creative and delicious breakfasts. Patrice did an amazing job accommodating my dietary needs. I highly recommend this establishment.
