Great place to stay! Dana who helped us check in was just wonderful. She's pleasant kind funny just love this place. Everyone was just great to talk to. Gave us great advice for site seeing and places to eat. Totally recommend this place to everyone. The staff areso helpful. Right in the center of town close to everything. A perfect place to stay. Our stay at this Best Western was the nicest of any during our 6 day trip. Their constantly available coffee was always hot. And it think their continental breakfast was a couple notches above others we experienced. Lastly, but certainly not least, the front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a great stay at this location!

Cannot say enough about the staff and this great hotel — every single person we came across was helpful and so kind. From check in to breakfast to questions around the area to check out. Location is good at the edge of town rifht off the highway. There is construction outside of it but I can't hold that against them. Price is good. Staff friendly. Rooms clean. Has a pool. Can't speak for their breakfast if they have one though.

Good size room. Neat and tidy. Nice selection of various breakfast items. Great size pool and comfortable seating. Loved the extra tables and chairs outside.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and we have not been let down. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. All necessary amenities are provided including and iron and blow dryer. Breakfast choices are various and all fresh and tasty. This is a very convenient place to stay for us before we cross over into Canada on our vacation. The hotel is located right off the interstate with lots of shopping opportunities, eating places and gas stations within site or nearby the hotel. By using our Best Western Rewards, we received $35.00 off the regular cost of the room — what a great savings! We will be returning to this hotel again next summer!

The staff was extremely helpful. The facilities were top notch. The swimming pool, sauna and exercise room were available 24 hours a day.

Everything went smoothly, the front desk clerk could have acknowledged that we were Platinum members and offered us a rewards bag. We asked about it. The rooms were a little dated but pretty clean and comfortable. We had $40 in travel cards to offset the cost of the room which was nice. The egg patties and sausage were cold and the egg, rubbery, couldn't eat it. Probably better when fresh and hot. This was our second visit at the hotel. When we checked out the morning front desk clerk was very friendly and wished us safe travels. We would stay there again.

Stayed at the Best Western in Sault ste Marie and would stay here again. Staff was very personable and helpful. Kudos to the visitor and convention bureau for a great map that made getting around in a city we had never visited before. The map had the traffic lights listed so it was easy to see where you were without looking at street signs Hotel was very clean, room and bed comfortable. Liked the internet, very easy to login and it was fast. Hot breakfast was nice with lots of choices. Would recommend the hotel and would stay there again. Husband even commented that I did a great job picking the hotel!

Hotel was easy to locate. Exterior was clean, lobby appeared updated. Room was dated with moisture damage on ceiling. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast offered was diverse and good.

Very highly recommended. Every staff person, every task, every day was exceptional. Each person went out of their way, and went over and above what was expected of them. Simply a wonderful experience. The staff even got up an hour early to make breakfast so we could have a hot meal before our early flight out. I will always stay here every time I visit Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

I've been staying here for two nights each April for almost twenty years and have been very pleased with the excellent service and wonderful rooms. Only once was there an issue, and it was a drunk in the room upstairs wanting to run water in the bathtub all night.

Comfortable place for a winter weekend retreat. No hot tub in the pool area but sauna and a very large changing room with showers and toilets was a nice feature. Reception staff extremely accommodating. Bring your favorite pillow if you're fussy.

My stay was very nice, hotel was very clean and the staff was very kind. I would recommend to others. I also plan on staying again in the future.

Out experience with the hotel itself and the few amenities were great but that was about it. When I went to check us in the two ladies at the desk not only provided dirty looks to make me feel extremely uncomfortable but they were cold, rude and had no customer service skills AT ALL. The same staff was there all weekend and every single time we passed the desk they looked truly unhappy to be there and couldn't even offer a smile back to my fiance, myself or even my 6 month old baby. Based of the experience with the staff alone I would never return to this hotel. I can get a nicer room with the same amenities and price at a different hotel where the staff is actually warm and friendly. Totally would not recommend unless you're okay with rude, unhappy people serving you.

5 days 4 nights away from home in the frozen north. Clean comfortable room; two queens so fresh sheets every night and all I had to do was get an extra towel. Conveniently located just off the interstate with ample parking in a well lighted lot. Amenities include sauna, fitness center, and a pool. Breakfasts include biscuits & gravy, eggs & meat, waffle-o-matic, cereals, baked goods, and fruits.

The room was nice and clean, king size bed and a microwave. Room was nice and warm on the cold December day. In the morning, breakfast was already mad and was delicious. There was a variety of pastries, cereal, juices and coffee. I was able to enjoy an apple cinnamon waffle as well as cheese eggs and sausage.

Very Well maintained — clean and comfortable rooms — staff is super friendly. Breakfast buffet is awesome. Would definitely be back!

Stayed this summer, with my family, who were up to visit. The pool was clean, and quiet for our family to catch up. Restaurants were close, ate at Studebakers for breakfast (close) all were so pleased came back for dinner. Rooms were clean and check in was fast which was nice for my parents after a long drive. Highly recommended.

The beds are very high, not good for anyone with a disability. Staff was courteous, rooms were up to date, clean, and pleasant overall. There were all the amenities to make one comfortable.

I stayed at this hotel about a week ago. Lupe checked me in and she was fantastic. I was very tired and stressed as I was supposed to have a reservation at the Hampton inn and found out it accidentally got booked for the wrong day. I told her I frequent the area often and have never stayed at this hotel. She made sure to make me feel very welcome. She had excellent customer service and showed me how great this hotel is. The room was nice and cozy and I felt right at home. I will be sure to stay her in the future due the great service provided here.

I'm a bit of two minds about this hotel. In general, there are (almost) no noises from other hotel guests. Hallway and doors seem to be good noise-insulated, the doors even have dampers to prevent from slamming. That's rare. On the other hand side, the best noise-insulation is ineffectual when having a room right beside the banquete room where a party is going on. I booked our room half a year in advance, telling our preferences (quiet room). On (early) arrival, we could only choose between the devil and the deep blue sea. To be honest, I don't understand how can a hotel be constructed like this?

Very disappointed about being put in a room where the toilet malfunctioned, overflowed and soaked the carpet. We came in and dropped off our bags quickly and didn't notice it until we returned late that evening. Then we were told that there was nothing that could be done. We got a handful of towels to correct the wet carpet. Note that I said we were given the towels to do the clean up, how thoughtful of the staff. The common areas of the hotel were clean and well appointed and we enjoyed the breakfast and the coffee area. On our second night a different manager/clerk moved us to a different room only upon our request So I can't recommend staying here based on the spotty performance of the staff in making decisions.

We stayed in a extended suite and while the rooms were spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi was pretty terrible and the stairwell was always covered with bugs. Otherwise, it was a nice stay, and the staff were accommodating. Plus the fact they had a pool was a big plus.

Location was great. Nice hotel. Rooms were very nice for the price. Pool was good. They advertised a game room, but it was recently turned into a little fitness room. Continental breakfast was decent (they kept it filled, even as it approached the end time). Staff was very polite. Overall great hotel. We would definitely return.

A good night's rest and a good breakfast. Eggs and sausage or eggs and Canadian ham were the best. Glad to see some protein. Clean room and friendly staff. No complaints.

The staff at this hotel we're extremely helpful! Breakfast was plentiful and good variety. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed! Will definitely stay here the next time we travel to the UP.

We haven't checked out yet but our two days we have stayed so far have been great. I never expected a 24 hour pool. The staff is super friendly, the location is perfect. My only minor complaint is the must smell that seems to be there if you let the room get hot. We turned the AC off before leaving one day and coming back the room smelled old and like it may have been a smoking room in the past. It is kept up well though.

We have been coming up to the Soo two weekends every spring for the bowling tournament for many, many years! In April there are 13 of us and in May there are 25! We have been staying at your motel across the parking lot on the Superior Place side for a number of those years! We are always very satisfied with our rooms, the staff treats us great and we all love the breakfast-so many great choices! We are starting to notice some wear and tear in some of the rooms such as door frames, tears in quilts, etc… Our room this weekend was missing a closet door and another room did not have a fridge! So thinking it may be time for a little facelift on the Superior side! But we will keep coming back! :)

This hotel was amazing. The fireplace in the room made me model like home! Rooms were quiet and the breakfast was delicious.

We stayed the whole week leading up to labor day weekend. My first impression walking into registration was the awesome smell of clean! Our room was wonderful, everything worked great from the jacuzzi tub to the fire place. Breakfast was good and kept up wonderful every morning. It was our honeymoon so one day we came back and they left Rose petals around the jacuzzi and in a heart shape on our bed. Would highly recommended this hotel and stay again myself!

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western in the Soo! Our room was large and very clean. This hotel is great for traveling with kids. It has a pool, which we did not use, but I saw a lot of people using it. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very clean and affordable rates.

When I first walked into the room I was overwhelmed with the smell of dampness and found that the carpet was just sticky and gross. It was uncomfortable to remain in the room.

The place and service was amazing. We really enjoyed staying there and will next time we are in the area.

What a great place to stay. The staff was so friendly, the breakfast was great and the facility was very clean and all this at an affordable price. Special kudos to Santana who put my husband's oxygen machine on a cart for me after she had just got off work! I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again if we travel to that area.
