Yes I recommend this motel! the owner was very nice to me. The reason why is that on September 4th 2019 I was camping with my husband and my family and we got rained out. I went to the laundromat in town of cheboygan and the lady was very rude and kicked me out of the laundromat before they closed at 8 p. M. So I went to the Fleetwood Inn to see if I could use they're dryers the owner said yes I could use their dryers. I even had it asked to pay for the use of their dryers and he turned the money down. So if you need a place to stay in cheboygan Michigan this is the place to stay at! I give them 10 fingers ten toes and whatever else I can give them appraisal for two thumbs up four stars whatever you need to go there!

Owners are very nice and accommodating. Rooms are clean and view of river is great! We would definitely stay here again.

We had reservations at the Best Western next door however when we arrived they were out of power. We went next door and I’ll be honest the rooms weren’t as nice but the staff was so kind and accommodating. I would stay again in a heart beat. We had clean rooms, breakfast in the morning, great company and an amazing view with our own balcony. Thank you Fleetwood for making this stay a good one!

This place doesn't look like much from the road but once inside we had a great suite with a sliding door that went out to the river. You can dock your boat right behind the hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and comfortable and what a great view. Lilacs and green grass. We watched the baby ducks paddle around the boats. Excellent customer service and friendly ppl. Will definitely be back!

Nice hotel with pleasant staff. Stayed in the jacuzzi suite which was nice. The room was a little run-down but was very clean. A little fixing up and this place would be amazing.

Absolutely a great place to stay relax near everything you need and places to see. Staff here are very helpful, Nice, and most of all you can park your boat at the dock out back. You have to order from Duncan City Pizza here too. It's great pizza!

If you have the opportunity to stay here, you will not be disappointed. The view of the river from your spacious and immaculately clean room will be enhanced by the gracious hospitality of the owners, Mike and Angela. A mom and pops, bed and breakfast feel. The Vanfleets make you feel at home away from home. I have stayed here on and off for the last 18 years and would recommend anyone to enjoy the Fleetwood experience. Dock your boat right outside your room and have immediate access the the inland waterway as well as the Straits of Mackinaw. Paradise at your fingertips. No matter your reason for coming to the tip of the mitten, your visit will be enhanced in the comfortable and relaxing environment this hotel offers.

Beautifully situated on the river. Great town to rent a boat rent a room and kill a long weekend.

I truly enjoyed my first experience in Cheboygan Michigan. Fleetwood Inn & Suites was a great choice.

Awesome staff, friendly people, nice rooms, docking area its, a nice place to go to if your in chaboygan and need some where to stay.

My family and I stayed there and were so happy with our stay! It only 20 minutes from Mackinaw City! There was lots of room and we had a waterfront view. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. There were bagels, cream cheese, coffee and yogurt! I enjoyed my stay there more then the Mission Point Resort on Mackinaw Island! Thank you for the great experience!

Front desk staff great, free breakfast no hot items but diverse, all rooms open out onto the waterway. We had a lovely patio to enjoy what I'm sure would be lots of water traffic in the summer. Lost one star for lack of bathroom towels in room, thin pillows (3 for 2 people), charging outlet only on one sode of bed, and rips/holes in room blinds. Nitpicking yes, but…

Very clean and spacious room. Bed very comfortable with pull out couch for extra space. Breakfast included breads, cereals, fruits, oatmeal, yogurt selection, fresh fruit, with juice machine. Front desk clerk was pleasant. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view of River from Deck or docks, clean rooms, clean linen (doesn't smell of smoke, a big plus for me), friendly staff, nothing but good things to say about this place, will go back, would recommend.

Friendly staff, convenient location. Desperately in need of updates, breakfast is bare minimum to state 'breakfast included', room not fully cleaned. A nice experience overall but likely would not stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay at your Hotel! I have been to many hotels that proclaim to be clean neat and orderly, but your Hotel is truly neat and clean and you guys were very accommodating to our very picky needs! We came in by boat and even found a shuttle for us to get get food at a late hour! All around beautiful place to stay! For a family owned Hotel… Great Job!

Wonderful hospitality and accomodations. All rooms are river view. Dock spaces for boating on inland waterway. Perfect location with easy access to northern Michigan attractions. Highly recommend. The Bloody Mary bar and breakfast pizzas were a nice plus this weekend!

It's a very spacious hotel. I'm not but great for anyone handicapped. The front desk clerk was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and the river view is great. It's also conveniently located next to a Big Boy so food is just a walk away. The only issue I had was the Wi-Fi didn't work but who cares, and the dispenser soap in the shower was empty but I already brought my own (same brand they use) so I didn't call to request more. All in all I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful views on the river and the room itself was fine. Unfortunately, extremely "rowdy" hotel guests (both above us and next to us). When I finally called down to the desk at 11 p. M. The very young girl at the desk told me that it was only her second week and she's not sure if they have a quiet policy. And yes, she's the only one working and when I asked if there were a manager she could call to ask she told me the manager is out to dinner with his family (did I mention it was 11 p. M. ).

I've tried to contact the owner for 3 weeks. We have stayed here in the past, but reading this owner's snarky remarks towards his costumers on various websites, we will not be back. Front desk said they would honor Trip Advisor's quote (also seen same quote on Trivago) which they advertise right at their front desk. Went to check out and they did not honor it. They told me only Mike can fix it, well three weeks and three left messages later, no response.

Very clean and staff was friendly. View of the water is amazing. Close to everything cheboygan has to offer. Breakfast was a plus. I would definitely recommend this place and intend to stay here again. Great job!

The hallway smelled funny, but our room was very large, clean, and nice. The view of the river from our room was outstanding — we even had patio door access outside, which was excellent, as we had our dog traveling with us! We will definitely stay here again.

A group of 15 traveling from 3 hours away and the only good thing I can say is the view was good… the beds are very uncomfortable, the heaters were not in working order, and the customer service was absolutely horrible. The check in took 45 minutes it seemed as no one knew what they were doing! A couple in our group had to switch rooms during our two night stay… and the owner said to me "you are lucky you even had rooms for this weekend" Never again we will choose this hotel!

The room was nice and clean. Not many frills and nothing over the top. It was a nice stay.

Went up as a group to do the Memorial Day Mackinaw Bridge Run. VERY nice staff and our rooms were great. Clean and good prices.

Went up for color tour in October. Great prices, got king bed and jacuzzi and cooked oatmeal for only 65ish during the week. And its on the river. Very nice owners and clean. Def go back!

Staff was really friendly, riverside, beautiful … The rooms just need a bit more? Modernization… Overall the beds were comfortable, and french door balconys, who doesn't love that? & just a hop skip and a jump away from Big Boys Restaraunt, with a pier!

This is a hidden jewel in Cheboygan if you asked me, Rooms are great, all rooms face the river. With walk outs from your room. This hotel is family owned and ran, And the family makes you feel like your apart of their family. Very kind and welcoming. I will stay here again. You cannot go wrong. In Cheboygan, I would not stay anywhere else. You have shopping just across the street. Anything you need is right near by. Those who write a negative review need to realize we are all human, Things do happen, I am sure it is not easy running a 47 room hotel.

The power was turned off in our room once, sink clogged, and three different times there was no heat at all! I once forgot a pair of shorts and a tshirt there, they said they had the shorts and not the tshirt, and they were gonna send the shorts home for me. This was over 3 months ago and I have yet to receive them.

Awesome place to hang your hat at night. I stay here often and always enjoyed my stay. Mike and his family are wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend staying here when you are in northern Michigan.

We are continually working to better our property, the mattresses in the hallway were old and were being replaced by new beds, thus the reason the old ones were in the hallway waiting to be disposed of. The internet issues have been resolved with upgraded equipment, and we have reminded our employees that if a guest is in need we always say "YES". We have stayed at this place more then once, when in town visiting family. We were born and raised in Cheboygan. In the past it used to be a good place to stay. But the last stay we swore off the place. The place wasn’t very clean, stained mattress laying against the walls as you walk down the hallway. The internet wouldn’t work and I asked specify about that at check in because I needed to get an important work related email out ASAP. They made you feel like you were really putting them out when you asked if they could get it working. They told me to call their ISP to see what the problem was and provided the number. At that point I was forced to trouble shoot their issues. After working with their ISP I was told they needed to reboot one of their routers. Of cause they did do that and it did work maybe 4 hours later. Just not a good experience.

Every fall we do a pilgrimage to Indian River and Mullet Lake. This is where we stay. 100% consistent and comfortable for us and what our family likes. AWESOME new dock for your boat and the on-the-water access is what keeps us coming back! Reasonable rates and very clean.
