I had a flat tire after stopping at the outlet mall and had to stay the night in the area. Kandi and Gary (and staff! ) went out of their way to help me. The room was comfortable and the staff was great! I would recommend to anyone!

An amazing motel that is clean, comfortable, affordable, & quiet. It all starts with the owners. Their experience in the industry, good Christian values, & their knowledge of the area make them perfectly qualified to make your stay a pleasant one whether you need to relax or visit the area attractions. You feel welcome & respected the instant you walk in their door. The staff was friendly & always greeted us with a smile. The motel is ideally located right next to an outlet mall, an excellent restaurant, & a top notch Casey's Gas Station & Convenience Store. The building sits up on a hill & is far enough away from any noise or commotion the mall may have, yet you are close enough to it that you can walk there, if you wanted. You can park just outside the door of your room which makes loading & unloading a lot easier. I know I will be staying with them again & again every time I am in the area. I had to borrow my kid's Google account to make sure they were properly recognized. Hi, Gary & Kandi from Tony. See you again soon!

Stayed at Crest Country Inn while on a two day road trip in the area. Great location, reasonably priced, nice owners, very clean and comfortable room, updated bathroom (a plus in my book! ), with convenient parking just outside the room. Will certainly stay here again if in the area!

Too be Honest… One of the friendliness stay I had in a while. Being on the Road 290 days a year. Its always nice have a room that comforts Home feeling. And I was embarrassed by some awesome folks…

We felt right at home the night we stayed at the Crest Country Inn from our call to reserve a room and at check in and until we left the next morning. Our room was spotless, very comfortable and the most quiet hotel we have stayed in. Spoke with other guests as we ate breakfast and learned from to separate families they have stayed there over 20 years as they traveled. We will stay there again in the future and recommend our family and friends do also. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

This motel is unbelievably comfortable — and we've stayed at quite a few hotels, motels and B&B's over the years. It felt like we were home. Friendly owners, clean room and quiet. Highly recommend Crest Country Inn. We will definitely stay there next time we're in the area.

Friendly and great owners, comfortable bed, quiet stay and great price with great value. It is a motel but it is far more than a motel! Glad I found this place (in the situation that I don’t have an Internet access) to spend my first night during the travel from Chicago to San Jose!

EASILY the nicest "mom & pop" motel we've ever stayed in. Clean, quiet rooms, comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower. Even the coffee tasted great the next day! I would recommend the Crest Country Inn to ANYBODY. Outstanding value.

Simply the best drive in motel you’ll ever stay at for the money. Owners are very gracious and welcoming. The rooms are impeccable and updated. You’ll almost feel guilty it’s so nice.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. I also enjoyed reading the history of the inn and learning that it's been a family business for atleast 4 generations. It's just something you don't see anymore.

The owners of this hotel are some of the most amazing people I will ever meet. They could tell I was in shock and terrified after the accident and made me feel at ease with their kindness. They are extremely accommodating especially when they know bad weather is coming. When I crashed into a ditch around midnight a state patrol trooper took me to this hotel and I am beyond blessed that I landed a stay here. They accommodated me for two nights and made sure I was fed, warm, and safe. They truly care about their guests and that was very evident. If you ever need a place to stay in the area I highly recommend this place. I never write reviews (I know, I should) but this couple made me want to let everyone know this is the best place to stay around here.

Beautifully appointed room. Felt like. Home away from home. Comfortable beds. The front desk closes at 10pm. We called in advance and paid over the phone and they left a key for us with a personal note. It was close to the highway, but very quiet. We parked right outside our room, which was very convenient. Breakfast consisted of a variety of frozen egg/sausage sandwiches & burritos as well as a variety of breads and bagels and jelly, cream cheese and fruit. It was more than adequate for a small hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

The Crest Country Inn was very hospitable and comfortable during our stay. Our vehicle broke down and they were very accommodating to our situation and needs. They are pet-friendly. We greatly appreciated their generosity and kindness. The rooms were clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this Inn.

They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The room staff are just as sweet. Not big in size but the BIGGEST and BEST in Quality. When I had to stop in the middle of the night with a snow storm approaching, they were very polite and understanding, never making me feel bad for clearly waking them at 3am. They said they normally don't take check-ins after a certain hour, but left their sign up due to the predicted snow and upcoming holiday. They wanted travelers to have a safe place to rest, and I am so glad they did. Very simple, very clean, amazing hospitality. The furniture and decorations may appea…r plain and well worn, but it is very clean and well cared after. There is a sense of true hospitality here. It is comfortable, clean, and safe. Not fancy or luxurious, but certainly not trashy or sketchy. Nothing that gave me pause or made me want to sleep with an eye open. It will more than meet your needs to get rested and refreshed, without worrying about either safety or cleanliness. I slept like a rock. Comfortable beds. Wifi. Simple continental breakfast. And they have pet-friendly rooms available, which I used. When they were shoveling the sidewalks the next morning, they even cleared around my van for me! They consistently went the extra mile without complaint, and with a true and natural gift for hospitality. They said it is a family started and passed down business. I would say this family definitely went into the right business. This weary traveler is very grateful she stumbled upon them. If I'm traveling through Iowa again and need a room, Crest Country Inn will be at the top of my list.

Nice motel. Clean and upgrades are being made. Comfy memory foam beds! Close to Tanger outlet mall and I80.

Very nice and clean family-run motel. Rooms have a country theme. Area is very quiet. There are a few different places to eat nearby and an outlet mall down the hill and across the street, all within walking distance if you prefer.

Loved this place. They have pet friendly rooms, for a small fee. Beautiful yard area for pet to roam and owner too! Room was spot on clean and cozy. Very quiet and relaxing. Loved the owners, and if it means anything to you, they are christian folk. If it doesn't, dont worry, nothing that will offend you either way! Will definitely stay again any time we are passing through.

I had stayed at this motel ten years ago or so and knowing I was going to need to stop on this trip, I remembered it and decided to try again. I was not disappointed. If anything, it's improved. Rooms are super-clean and comfortable. It's old, but well-maintained and seems to be a real 'mom-n-pop' family business with very friendly owners who seem to think of everything. These kind of places usually don't do breakfast or at most some bad muffins and coffee, but they have managed to set up a dining area in a hall that has good coffee and juice, breads and a selection of frozen breakfast sandwiches and burritos that can be microwaved. The price was very reasonable and the location — just across from Tanger Outlets and near fast food and convenience stores, and just off I-80 — is great.

My mother, 2 daughters and I stayed here last night. It was a great motel room. I loved we could park right in front and open our door. The owners were super helpful with restaurants and directions. It is literally right across the road from the outlet mall. The room was very clean and we all got a good nights rest.

They have put some money into this place recently and it really shows. We just crashed for the night but it exceeded our needs and then some. They still need new beds and to do something about the house flies but overall a much better experience.

Great place. Our car broke down and we were in a tight spot but the staff was so friendly. They offered a military discount as well. Immaculately clean in the room. Non-smoking room smelled great. Large area. Comfortable beds. Only think was sheet/blanket were a bit thin and the free breakfast left something to be desired (mostly just bread). Would reccommend!

Very comfy bed, cozy room, they are doing some renovations. I would consider it a gem. Really like the prayer. Left on the night stand. The only set back was the breakfast which was just okay. I did not appreciate the envelope left for tips for staff. We really enjoyed Myers Grill which was recommended by the staff — awesome experience.

After reading some of the reviews on here, we were skeptical about staying, but we drove by and it looked clean so we came and checked it out. We were, to say the least, pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and very nice in our opinion. The owner was extremely pleasant and friendly. The outside was well lit and clean. We will definitely stay here again next time we pass through. The only advice I have is if you are staying, you may want to bring your own pillows. I like a lot of pillows and the ones provided were thin. But that's just my preference.

Perfectly located to amenities, historic sites, and shopping and right off the interstate, we really enjoyed our short stay here. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They welcomed our dogs as if they were a part of the family (they are of course). Very clean and well kept, some of the decor was dated, but it is obvious they are spending money to update the motel. The breakfast sandwiches were great!

We had a great stay this last weekend. We went there for a wedding but found the outlet mall across the street. The managers of the hotel were very helpful and with their guidance found a pizza at a local place that was great. It was clean easy to find and very worth the value.

I only was here for about 4 hours for a quick stop on a drive from chicago to phoenix, but really thought this was motel was a good value for the money. The owners are very nice and you can tell they truly care about all their desks, especially compared to what you'll get from the "big box" type chains that start the rates at $100. Which, when only staying for a quick sleep really doesn't make any sense. I arrived "after hours" but the owners live on site so that was no problem at all once I arrived. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, TV worked good-and the the in room free Wi-Fi is very quick, much better than I am used to at hotels and I'd say is comparable to what you'd get from a cable internet at home. Highly recommended this place.

Let me first say I have stayed here multiple times over the past 10yrs. I will no longer stay here ever again. We used to stay here because of the location in relation to Iowa City for the football games. Basically, we needed a place to sleep that was pet friendly. Recently I booked a room there, my wife, my dog and my parents were staying with me. My parents got there before we did, only to find out that we couldn't have my dog there. I booked a pet friendly room on their website, and apparently, since I didn't call them to let them know I had a dog, he wasn't going to be allowed to stay there. The guy at the desk went on to say there has been 4 different managers in the past 4yrs, which they had the same ones for atleast the past 6yrs. Then proceeded to tell my parents that we didn't pay a pet fee so we must have been sneaking my dog in, when I have brought him in the office to show the desk person my dog in the past. The guy at the desk was very rude and had alcohol on his breath. When we asked to have our money returned, he refused because we didn't give 24hr notice. We had to make arrangements for a different hotel on the go as we were driving there from 5hrs away, on a gameday weekend. Im hoping my credit card company can get my money back since we never used the room. I guess if you don't have a pet and only need a place to sleep for a night, this is the place to stay.

Ended up here after a snow storm at first thought it was a nice place to stay intel I seen my room 63 bucks for bed bugs and that just the start the guys at the front desk was a real jerk about the hole thing said I brought them with me witch is not likely I pretty sure I would of started itching the day before sleeping there. I would rather sleep in my car or in a tent on the ground before stay at it joke of a place.

After driving 32 hours from Palm Springs, CA we arrived in Williamsburg, IA, and stopped at this great motel. We had a van with a trailer along with 2 dogs and this place worked out perfectly. Situated right off the highway it had a clean room, great view of some farms, huge area for the dogs to walk and play, good parking, a restaurant (great home cooked food) and gas station next door and friendly owners. It was a great stop and made our trip a lot easier. I highly recommend this place for travelers alike.
