This place should not even be in business As the toons smelled of POT very deceiving website.

Person at the front desk was a disaster. He couldn't function properly or professionally. By the time we got to the 3rd room it was clean. Before that one was leaking in the bathroom and the other was actually occupied. Didn't feel too safe after that! Was late for a wedding reception because I had to talk the desk reception through his panic attack. We drove 6-1/2:hours and thought baymont name was good. He still wouldn't call his boss or the manager to help him through it.

Staff was always smiling. There is a swimming pool, but it has way too much chlorine in it. The breakfast has variety, but I did find a hair in mine the first day. The room is nicely updated. Housekeeping was great. Smoking is allowed on the second floor. The smell is a tiny bit noticible on the first floor. Pool and gym are open from 6am-11pm. I recommend this place over the motel 6 down the street. Although pricier, it has way better amenities.

I have spent about 2 weeks at this motel. The employees here are awesome. They know you by name and will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your stay here. The have a great breakfast setup every morning, the rooms are clean, the pool is warm and the coffee is hot. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

They take great care of their guests. Mine was an extended stay; good breakfast, great customer care. Rooms were cleaned and organized every day. For the price, it was a great stay.

Nothing special but clean and convenient when I travel for work. Reliable and easy to work with.

Great middle the road hotel. Not super fancy but not a dump. Has breakfast pool and work out room. They have smoking rooms but no hot tub. Great location lots food near by.

The hotel was very clean and we'll maintained. The staff were all pleasant and willing to help if needed. The breakfast was great! Large selection of hot and cold foods. Overall great staying there. Would recommend to anyone.

The staff was very accommodating and always willing to help. The pool was a nice temperature and the rooms were clean and tidy. The breakfast was good but nothing overly special. We will definitely stay there again.

The 2 stars are for the amazing bed and the nice pool. Check in was at 3, we arrived at 4 only to be told our room wasn't cleaned yet. So we waited 40 minutes in the hallway for our room. The air condition wouldn't go to cold, and I checked the filter — which was clean. So until about 3am we ran the air with the window open. My son dropped my phone behind the bed and it took us forever to get it because the bed wasn't able to move much. We moved yhe mattress and found a huge amount of white powder behind the bed which made my hands tingle when I tried getting my phone. At check in, the desk clerk was rather rude when I tried to joke with him about football teams, and it wasn't until he checked us in that he said the room wouldn't be ready. The breakfast was actually amazing! Waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, toast, muffins, fruit, cereal, yogurt, bagels and more! This desk clerk who checked us out was SUPER nice. My advice is don't expect to check in on a Saturday on time, because I think there are only 2 housekeepers and they work together in the rooms so it takes forever to clean all the rooms!

Clean, quiet rooms. Friendly staff. Hot breakfast.

Comfortable bed. Power outlets were on an off throughout my stay. Wifi is choppy and kicks you off frequently. Friendly guy at front desk!

It was a place to sleep. Breakfast was good, but I would only use this as a last resort.

Great people with positive. Attitudes. Eager to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Quiet. My only complaint was the breakfeast nook needed more tables.

Pretty clean but the chair in my friends room, 205, has a body fluid stain on the seat, if you get the idea.

The room was nice, when we finally got inside. The first room we were sent to was occupied. But the TV did not work at all.

The rooms are simple BUT are nice. They have updated appliances in room. Combo microwave/mini-vacation and mediums sized flat panel tv. Room prices are great for the quality. The Baymont features a fitness room and a clean indoor pool. If you are looking for a nice hotel stay for an affordable price then the Baymont is your hotel!

Terrible experience! Only hotel I've been in that won't let you switch rooms if you are dissatisfied! Specifically asked for a non-smoking room and it was verily clearly saturated in tobacco. Not to mention the message in the lobby reminding teenagers to dress appropriately as though this is not the United States of America and we citizens do not have FREEDOM.

We travel once or twice a year from New Jersey to visit my parents by Waterloo. We have stayed at the Baymount Inn about 6 times now for about a week at a time. We like the convenient location to my folks and other area attractions. The rooms are spacious and kept clean. My boys love the hot breakfast and the pool. The staff is friendly and eager to help. A good hotel.

It was clean, average hotel… Good service, good breakfast. No complaints, and a cheap rate.

We were upgraded to an executive room which was amazing and comfortable. Was a great stay!

The room was clean and comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this and stay again. Rates were reasonable.

We recently stayed here while attending a concert in Cedar Falls. The staff was friendly and very willing to assist with questions to the best of their ability. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast wasn't anything over the top but there was certainly plenty and lots of options. Would definitely stay again!

Average place to stay. Not awesome but not bad either.

The night time desk clerk was awesome. Mark was his name. Very friendly and helpful. Great prices and rooms. Excellent location right of the highway and a burger kind right next door. It's not the motel six that Google located though, before that coming from the highway right by burger king.

Location, excellent! Rooms were average nothing terribly exciting. Customer Service was fabulous. Two things I have gotten spoiled with at other Hotels breakfast and comfortable beds… these got 2 out of 5 stars for me.

We stay here almost once a month, when we are in town from MN. Anyway, they know us by name which solidifies the fact that the staff goes above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Early last year the hotel changed owners, and since that time mega changes have taken place. New carpet in the breakfast area (by the way a full hot breakfast is served buffet style), and new carpet in all the hallways. I'm told that the rooms are soon to get new carpet as well. However I don't feel that it's in bad shape to begin with. The bathroooms are on the process of being remodled, we had a very modern one in our room. A brand new granite counter new sink and faucet too. These things are only the most recent changes that have taken place, so many others have preceeded. It was very sweet of the front desk to offer to escort us to our room, as we had several items that we were struggling with. So if u are in the Waterloo area, don't hesitate when it comes to choosing your hotel. Comfort Inn hands down.

I made our reservation the night before and received wonderful service. A few hours before check in I called to make sure the rooms had AV inputs for our DVD player. She told me yes. Then once we checked in, we noticed that there weren't any. I notified the front desk and they promptly upgraded us to a king suite with more amenities and a flat screen TV with all the hook ups needed. What wonderful service. With a smile. Anyway later on I found out that the hotel had recently changed owners, and many many changes were underway. I was able to get a glimpse of what was to come and was thoughoughly impressed. So even though this hotel is in the midst of change. Stay here and you will feel extremely welcome. 12/15/12 My family and I just stayed here last night, and received extremely wonderful service once again. The staff recognized us from before greeted us with all smiles. When we went swimming, we were pleasantly surprised by the temperature of the water. On a cold winter day, the temperature was divine. This place has the most comfortable beds compared to any otger hotel I've ever stayed in. So they obviously live up to their name. Each and every upgrade makes the stay even more comfortable and welcoming. All the hallways have brand new carpet which is a very striking pattern, I might add. And as if they're hot breakfast buffet wasn't the best already, it's now even better than ever before. So many options to choose from it's almost overwhelming. I love it!

Clean, helpful staff (the printer at the guest workstation was defunct, but the staff let me print from the workstation at the checkin counter), no bugs. Only complaints were that the hallways smelled like smoke (interior of non-smoking room was fine, though) and got questionable recommendations from staff for dinner (ended up eating in something of a biker bar. Got some very funny looks. Great soup, though). Also the compressor on the in-room fridge made a terrible buzzing noise that was going to keep me awake, so I ended up unplugging it, but that was ok.

(Family of 4, 2 young children) This place was wonderful! Bed were comfortable, room smelled great, pool was warm, breakfast was great, and the staff was wonderful! Even though check out was 11am, the man at the front desk allowed us to checkout at 1pm. As far as location, it doesnt get much better! Not far from the interstate, easy to find, tons of shopping and food! They even posted signs excusing the remodeling, but we never heard anything! We will definitelybe staying here again.
