Needs to be taken care of better.

Nice clean room. Ease to check in. Location close to the interstate, bars, and restaurants.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, allows pets, restaurant next door. Prices are too high for Independence, IA. Price is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Charging $15-20 for a pet is crazy.

Stayed here after my grandmother died unexpectedly. The rooms were clean, neat. The bed was a bit odd and tough — — but I didn't reserve the room in advance so I probably could have requested something different. Rather than just showing up late at night. (Last minute decision. ) The shower was great, and overall the stay was not bad at all. Oh the pricing wasn't bad either!

Bast hotel where I ever been… I was in many states and I had stay in many places, but nowhere was so good, I from Ukraine and I appreciate kind, and that woman was so kind, I never forgot that!

Decent room for the price. Did not experience any problems.

Very poor customer service. Cancelled my stay, my card still got charged, I talked to a manager who said she would return my call and never did, now I've called over 15 times and people don't answer or they answer and hang up.

Forgot phone charger and gift card in room on the counter when I checked out, called later after I got home and they said there was nothing in the room… hope whoever changed out the bedding enjoys the giftcard that they "did not find"

The rooms are average except the comforters and shower curtain have stains. The service is average. The breakfast is a little better than average with waffles, ceral, fresh fruit, oatmeal, and muffins as choices. The place seems to be clean, however it is a little run down.

Very clean hotel, great service and cleaning staff. One of the front desk clerks was a bit brusque and seemed annoyed, otherwise everything else was perfect.

Very clean, very quiet, friendly helpful staff and the manager, Ellie Stammeyer is awesome. My home away from home. Oh and breakfast is great according to my husband… I slept in cause it was so quiet.

Service was great, however when we asked for a late checkout they said yes then kicked me out 3 hours before I could leave town.

Enjoyed our night at this Super 8. Very clean, big room at a great price and plenty of breakfast item including make your own waffles. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Would stay here again.

Our room was ok the bed was very comfy. The breakfast the next morning needs some improvement the milk tasted like the metal picture it was in, yuk.

A nice quiet, clean place to stay. Easy to get to with truck parking and a Pizza Ranch next to it!

The only thing I would change is the size of the bathroom. The bed was great, clean rooms, friendly staff made me feel very welcome!

It's a little ways off the interstate but provides clean rooms with a fridge and microwave. The entire hotel is non smoking which is nice. Their Wi-Fi was amazing. I got around 45mb/s on my phone.

Fannie at the desk was super amazing! We were traveling and had to stop due to snow. It was clean and tidy and nice to get breakfast too.

Nice rooms, but nothing fancy. LeAnn at the front desk was very helpful. Not a large breakfast selection, but I found enough to eat. They were even giving out free copies of the Sunday Waterloo Courier. I would recommend it to my friends.
