People managing and maintaining the place were very nice. We are on the road a lot and the room they gave me was great and it had all the accommodations I needed, fridge, microwave, HBO, lol. Breakfast. Clean. All great for the price.

My room was clean. My room smelt fresh. My bed was fresh and comfortable. My room had a micro, fridge, flat screen TV, office desk and chair. My bathroom was clean. The staff was very nice and professional. I wish more Super 8 hotels were as nice as this one. Keep up the good work. I do recommend this place to friends and family. If I could give more stars I would.

Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Good water pressure and my bathroom was clean and we'll stocked. Single cup coffee maker in my room with real and decaf available in the room.

We had a good experience here. It is adequate. The desk clerk was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean. The breakfast was pretty good.

Bed was comfortable, the room was outdated. None of the lamps matched. The smoke detector and old microwave were no longer white but a tarish color as if they had been in a moking only room. It looked as if they were in the middle of redoing the room or just used a bunch of spare furniture. It has been since 2013ish since we stayed here, we normally stay across the drive at the Best Western but lately service has been sub par there as well.

People seem nice but… Bedding an pillows in room look very old. TVs are small an appliances have missing parts an or dented up. Bathrooms look poorly cleaned. I'd say over priced. Needs to be updated an maybe new updated items for what they are asking a night.

Decided to go for a walk, 2 blockd later the police stop us saying we were reported as being "suspicious" had to have been the desk clerk, why, idk. But eat. Y dick hodgee.

Good value and friendly staff! Rooms were OK but I did have to kill a cockroach and after my first two week stay I came home with several bed bug bites! Need to have the place fumigated! For my second stay I bug bombed the room on the first day and so far no bed bug rash… Also had to complain about people smoking in the room next to me. Hotel staff lives in some of the rooms and they cook Indian food in the rooms which just stinks! Loud construction workers outside drinking and tailgating… Update: Have stayed a few more times with minimal issues. They really need new. Larger TV's. Many of them have problems!

Very nice stay. Very friendly staff. All was clean and bed was comfortable. Only minor complaint would be they still have those old toilets; like aiming in an empty soup can. Nonetheless, would recommend.

The wife and I spent one night here in our way back from St. Louis. The rooms were clean and tidy. The front desk employee was friendly and knowledgeable. The price was right. The room and the lobby were in beautiful condition and we'll maintained. It was quite and I slept well. I highly recommend a stay if your in the area. You will not regret it.

Poor excuse for a motel to say the least. Bad attitudes from the staff and management. Would not recommend this for a place to stay. Room smelled like an ash tray even though it was a non-smoking room, Construction workers were constantly using the "Mother F — r words to describe the guests as well as the manager, However I tend to agree with their description of the manager. Not kid friendly with all the foul words being thrown around. I watched the construction throw trash in the weeds while the dumpster they had as only 60 feet away. Way to much effort to take it to the proper place to dispose, make you wonder what the other work that got covered up looks like. Over all if you don't mind the ash tray smell and the foul language being thrown around, this is your place. Go next door, several motels within 100 feet. Requested a call from the manger or owner and was told "no". She didn't want me to have her cell phone number as it would appear on my phone and with that I asked her to call the motel and they could transfer the call to the room. That feature was broke on the phone system.? Really.? I could go on but that's enough. If you choose to stay, you been warned. The l ad shows they are a BBB member. I just called the BBB of Southeast Iowa and they advised they are NOT a member.

I stayed in a single bed hotel room. This is probably my biggest gripe — I booked through a third party that stated the room type would be assigned on check in. What the hotel told me is that a single bed hotel room was booked, something I know to be inaccurate. This made for a very uncomfortable night for my wife, my daughter, and me. The AC in the room also didn't work and no assistance was offered when we brought it to the front desk's attention that night. The breakfast was the best part of the stay and it was nothing special — waffles, two cereal choices, yogurt, apples, and instant oatmeal.

Night lady was helpful. Beds were comfy. Continental breakfast was only cereal and waffles. Wasn't very great. Everything else was fine.

It was the worst experience I have ever had at Super 8. Mr. Kenseth is a friend of mine. I can't believe he let people work there that were as rude as the front desk person we had this morning. We arrived and they assigned us a room. Walked in and the room was either being used or hadn't been cleaned. Now we had to get a new room. Got up at 8:30 and at breakfast there wasn't anything left. Three people sitting in the office looking at us and there wasn't but 4 donuts. The front desk gal was extremely rude, she was rude to other customers as well. Worst experience Ive ever had with a Super 8. It was so bad in fact, I am going to contact Mr. Kenseth and explain the situation to him.

Super 8 Mt. Pleasant is located close to many restaurants as well as Walmart which is right across the street. The staff is very friendly and they still have a couple of rooms available for smokers. Rooms seem a bit pricey for the area but are always very clean. The breakfast that is included with the room is adequate, fresh waffles off the iron are a great way to start your day. Overall this Super 8 is a good place to stay if you are in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

We had a great time at the Super 8 Mt. Pleasant. The rooms are clean, efficient and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was great. We will stay again.

Manager has to be the rudest unhappy person I have ever met.

Large clean rooms. Free iced tea at most hours in the lobby, with free coffee there often and a "continental" sort of free breakfast with juice, toast, yogurt and a waffle maker. The internet was good this time, but had some problems on a previous visit. Fairly bland decor. The air conditioner was noisy on this visit but okay on my previous visit. Small laundry but it works and seems available nearly all the time.
