The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is welcoming.

I received terrible service from Brad Smith the manager at Super 8 in Knoxville Iowa! I like Super 8 motels all over Iowa! Only had a problem with Brad Smith!

Had a mouse run across my foot, housekeeping was less then adequate.

The people that work here are very friendly. The rooms could cleaner. I stay here on a regular basis though and will continue to be a returning customer.

The receptionist, named Sonya, was very knowledgeable. She helped us with our check in, and insured we had everything we needed. A very good job, indeed.

Nice bed. The lights (lamp) don't work till you screwed the bulb in, had to find a plug for the tv, it was not plugged in. The towels look like they have not been washed, stained and dingy looking. It was not worth &99.68. Very unhappy!

Dirty hotel, a bug on the floor in my bathroom that never got picked up the 5 days I was here. Along with a dryer sheet most likely from someone else because the bedding was dirty and stained. The breakfast was nothing there but a bowl of rotten banana's and no creamer for your coffee. Not worth coming back to and the management doesn't care.

Looked like a new bed. Huge new t. V. Only downside was the smell of curry when you walk in the door.

Beds could be improved, they knocked on us, very loudly, early in morning for no reason. Ruined my sleep. Breakfast was ok.

Everything about this place is pretty basic. Rooms, service, breakfast, beds, shower. A little below what I was expecting, even knowing it was super 8

Hotel was decent — HOWEVER when we checked in they had problems running my card, ran it 3 times and it continued to say "communication error" instead of APOLOGIZING and saying it was their machine they made it seem like it was my fault! So I had to run to an ATM at almost midnight (not easy in a small town where everything closes around 11) and pull out cash — then they didn't even have change, which that part I understand. I walk back in pay with cash and still NO APOLOGY for having to go back out in snow and get cash. It was also mentioned as the card was ran the second and third time, oh yea the manager this morning stated she had to run someone's card FOUR times today before it went through… THEN REBOOT YOUR MACHINE do NOT make your customer feel like they are scum that can't afford to pay the $90 for the room fee they booked with the card in the first place! Highly doubt we ever stay there again — embarrassing and frustrating!

I was in the executive sweet. Shower was kind of dirty but other than that it was perfect.

I travel for work and stay in hotels every night, this hotel was not bad, but it took a half hour to get just myself checked in due to the walking ashtray clerk. If you have patience unlike myself go for it.

Receptionist was very polite, but the motel absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. We had a non smoking room and the stench was still wafting into the room through the registers. With allergies to smoke, it made for a miserable stay. Won't be staying here again: (.

We have been coming here for years now for a small re-union in group of 10 people. This is nice hotel and love the staff. They are always going extra to do whatever they can to help. Room was clean and comfy, breakfast was decent. Every year, we see changes to the hotel which makes us feel good and we'll continue to come.

All rooms say they're non-smoking, but it smells like they haven't even tried to get rid of the odor. Housekeeping came by twice before the 11:00 AM checkout, waking us up the first time. The recliner in the room was broken — the handle to raise/lower the footrest was snapped off halfway, and the footrest was stuck out. Blankets had holes in it and sheets had stains on them. Can hear every door close, and anyone walking down the stairs sounds like an elephant. Toilet backed up after second usage (not even on a major transaction).
