This is a well kept clean Hotel. Nice variety for breakfast.

Room smelled carpet dirty. Outside door too the north does not lock outside pool door blocked open. Pool cold hot tub broken. Have stayed here many times conditions are deteriorating. Cost of this place service and conditions should be better. Esterville needs another option.

Super nice place to spend our overnight. Breakfast was open until 9:30a which was wonderful. Staff was friendly, rooms are clean, will stay here again!

Couldn't get a room with handicap accommodations because it was being used for none handicap persons. We ended up on the second floor at the far end of the hall away from the elevator. The elevator needed looked at. And the pull out couch was broken. We where there for a funeral and they did offer a discount price But when I asked for a discount because of the broken pull out and not having handicap accommodations I was told I couldn't have anymore discount. I wasn't happy. So she took away the funeral discount and gave me a discount on a full price room! But didn't charge for my husband being in the room for one night. A whole 10 dollars. I ended up paying more than if I hadn't said a thing. (Note the poor review) Just know that it may look nice on the outside, but it needs help on the inside. Oh and they don't vacuum the stairs. Even after a construction crue has been there. And to much chemical in the pool.

Room ok the hotel lobby could use a cleanong. Breakfast need improvement. They could add a little meat. Like sausage or bacon.

Good hotel and service only thing was that our bathroom was clogged up. But that was taken care of quickly as soon as I let them know. The internet was great tho we stayed on 3rd floor and the speed was fast.

The rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Definitely recommend.

Clean rooms, nice pool and Whirlpool. Mom and pop owned and it shows. Beautiful entry-level front desk space and nice breakfast room with many choices. Would have given it four stars if we didn't get stuck on the room charge. We called and got a price quote then the reservationist said "oh that's a Saturday night" and raised the price by $10.00. If the staff can't keep track of the days of the week they should eat the difference. We'll be back though. Jeff.

Nice place, with comfortable rooms and a good complimentary breakfast. It's a good small town hotel.

Great place with super nice staff, my company gets us rooms here when we have to stay in town and rooms are always clean and never a hassle staff is super helpful.

This hotel is very good. I mean sure all that was for breakfast today was waffles because they were understaffed bug the staff is very polite and courteous.

Love the Jacuzzi suite! And at such a great rate. We will definitely be going back. Maybe even annually.

A man's clothing was hanging in my bathroom the night I checked in. When I took them to Marge, the manager, she told me she would make sure they got back to the owner. Imagine that! It got worse! I explained to her how freaked out I was. She looked at my check in record and told me that I got a good deal. I stayed 8 nights and the sheets were only changed because I requested they change them. Pat, at the front desk told me that she sleeps on her sheets for 9 days without changing them. I have included pictures of the clothing on the bathroom door and the bed after being made up by the housekeeper. This may be the "best" Estherville has to offer but next time I visit I think I will stay in Spirit Lake.

I have stayed here a few times and have no complaints about the quality of the room. However, on our most recent stay my wife accidentally left her makeup bag in the bathroom. Her fault, no doubt. She called the hotel 6 hours later and it had disappeared magically. Obviously housekeeping stole it. Who else had access? After several calls to the hotel where they refuse to acknowledge there is no other scenario than they employ thieves we gave up. I guess when we visit family from now on we will stay elsewhere.

Very nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff, well appointed. Much nicer than I have come to expect of small town hotels. I will come back here.

We always stay here when we come to the Boji Biker Rally. Everyone is so friendly, very welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable, we rest well in the beds (That is a big thing for us). Will definitely come back and refer it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Met family and went swimming. Rooms were nice and clean. Pool was very salty, smelled like the chemical might be a little off, and the hot tub wasn't working.

Very clean and quaint. Staff very nice and knowledgeable. Long pool hours. Dogs allowed.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay at if you are in the Estherville area. Clean rooms, nice service, great Midwestern breakfast.

I enjoyed our stay. The price was great, the accommodations were nice. We did have an issue with the A/C in our room though and it seems that others did as well.

Very nice hotel. I have been traveling for work for a decade, and this place is nice and the price is reasonable. Very clean and comfortable! The T. V. And fridge are both small, but the beds are very comfortable. The shower heads are low, so you have to bend down to wash your hair. They could also use microwaves in the rooms. Staff was great. Very friendly and professional! Very clean and comfortable!

Great night! I got lucky before a holiday and was almost deserted. The bed wa fantastic. Almost took it with me! Slept very well, and the staff Terry, was very informative and the next morning the crew was putting new light bulbs in the lobby.

Nice place, but the beds on the third floor are way to low and uncomfortable.

I stayed two nights recently and had a very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast choices were great. I will recommend this Sleep Inn.

I feel that this hotel is ran very poorly. There is a certain manager named marg who is very rude to her customers and not only that but to her employees. She also does not do her job nor does she know how to do much of anything there. I have also heard more than one case of which she shows racism towards Mexicans when it comes to them applying for a position there. I personally know someone who works in this hotel and I have seen proof of most of what I have written. I feel this is very unprofessional and advice people to not stay in this hotel or even apply at this hotel until things have changed in the management position. Thank you very much…

I have been staying here twice a year for the last 4 years and have not had a bad experience. The staff is always courteous and upbeat and the facility was well maintained.
