Nice room, great breakfast!

Loved the welcoming service. Celebrating an anniversary should not be about the  $$ you spend. But about how well you spend the time. Thank you for our stay at Mainstay Charles & Annette Wood.

Everything was great. Breakfast was as good as you could hope for. In addition to the usual cold breakfast options like cereal, toaster items, yogurt, they cooked biscuits w/gravy along with sausage links and scrambled eggs. Plus those dumb Belgien waffles.

Clean hotel with quiet guests. The breakfast area has a nice outdoor seating area adjoining it. Breakfast was the usual: cereal, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, make-your-own waffles, hot biscuits and gravy, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee, juices, and tea. Only issue was our dog acted as if he could smell rodents behind the kitchen cabinets.

It's ok. No reason not to stay there. Very accommodating staff. The price was reasonable. The rooms need updated and improved. That was in transition, so I would check with the hotel. That being said, there was nothing wrong with the room. It was clean.

Very nice. Clean. Good price… would expect to have paid more for this room. Good kitchen set up, comfortable couch and a bed softer than most other places. Will definitely stay here again.

Received a pleasant greeting upon arrival. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Room with 2 queen beds was nicely appointedand very clean. Small, serviceable kitchenette with cooking pans, utensils, and dishware was also nice. Morning breakfast was a step above with fresh strawberries, though on our stay there were no scrambled eggs served. Only thing missing was a pool.

Simple and elegant place for a long stay. The staff is helpful and courteous.

I didn't know Mainstay was a Choice hotel until now. I'm impressed. Great service from the staff here.

Decent place. I was there for a work trip but breakfast in the morning had some good options.

Had planned a 4 day anniversary trip and picked this hotel because of location, value, and supposed amenities. Only stayed for 3 days checking out a day early cuz our experience was just horrendous! It was under a complete, massive each-and-every room remodel. Never stated that in the reservation process like other hotels did. And it had just switched over to non-smoking status that weekend so all the halls and the 3 rooms we looked at reeked of smoke and disinfectant spray. Would have left for another hotel next door but reservation was non-refundable and we would have lost at least one night's cost. Our room had new carpet and tile, newer mattresses, and TV's but the furniture was horrible, to put it mildly. Couch cushions were so old and used they sank below the front frame of the couch and got stuck in place before anyone had sat in them. Had to stuff 2 folded, very old, fuzzy and worn heavy bedspreads (yes, I said they still used bedspreads) under one couch cushion so it wouldn't sink into the frame and was reasonably stable. Only enough old bedspreads to fix one cushion it was that bad. Recliner was also extremely uncomfortable, lumpy, losely wiggled allot left and right when one moved in it, and had a very difficult time opening and closing the reclining feature. All blankets on the beds and for sofa-sleeper were very old, rough in texture, stiff, and hardened with surface fuzzballs. Wouldn't touch them.

I do enjoy this place. This is the place I got to for winter storms and dont wanna do the the 30 mile drive homw. How ever they are doing renovations right now. But I didn't like how the lady at the front desk didn't know the room she originally gave me was not clean and it would have been right next to all the renovations. It defently would have been a long night As they were working on a kitchen at the time (11pm) and an early morning. As you could still hear them in the morning.

Affordable pricing. Good breakfast. Place was under construction so cleanliness was an issue.

No pool the place is all torn up with construction. Every hallway, exercise rooms. Had to use men's bathroom in lobby. Was given a dirty room with a bed that had no sheets! Front desk girl was very nice and apologetic. Given another room where the main overhead light didn't work. Absolutely would NOT recommend!

The elevator and bathrooms smelled like paint, but other than that it was fine.

Quiet, clean and friendly Staff and always helpful. Poor breakfast for the low variety of products. The previous years was more palatable. The Price is honest the spacious and well-stocked suites.

Very outdated, room and halls were dirty and they overcharged our credit card.

It is a nice place, but the room was a little dirty. Some of the rooms allow smoking which can be smelt in the hallway on the second floor.

This extended-stay hotel was perfect for our needs with a full kitchen, sitting room with television, and private queen bedroom. The storage and closet space was ample for our business trip. The evening receptionist was very cordial and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, good service, looked like they are in the process of replacing the flooring. Continental breakfast was the usual food.

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room was clean and the breakfasts and complimentary social night dinner was very good.

Everyone was very pleasant. Best hotel. I have stayed in. Bathroom appeares to have been recently updated. The room was extremely clean. Overall excellent for the price, great value I would stay here again.

Completely average hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and the rooms were comfortable, though dated. The elevator was in desperate need of servicing and the floor in our room (newly tiled) was covered in dirt and mud, which wasn't thrilling.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in for having a carpet that was so filthy and had stains so dark and noticeable that I was totally grossed out. That was also true of the carpet in the hallways. The furniture looked dirty and above the couch, where a picture was supposed to be hanging, there were just 2 metal hanging brackets. The counter top in the kitchenette had very noticeable spots that were damaged with bleach or acid and were peeling… that was where the eye was immediately drawn to in the kitchen… the spots were right in the front. The main light in the room (overhead light) kept turning off for no reason and I would have to feel my way in the pitch dark to the wall to turn the light switch on and off a couple of times till the light came back on. The cabinets were all banged up and the refrigerator was also banged up in the front. Everything in the room looked very dated. I paid in advance for a king bed room but the room we were in had one queen bed. Big safety issue that the elevator stopped about 8 inches above the floor level on all 3 floors… all the staff had done is put out signs that said to watch your step. When we were entering the elevator, another guest was coming out of it with a luggage cart. She had to manhandle it off the elevator… we had to help her with it.

The accommodations we're nice. The positioning of the room was kind of awkward. Couldn't see the t. V. From both beds. Good continental breakfast.

Clean and quaint place. The rooms were very pleasantly decorated. Very modern. Plenty of space, with a well-stocked kitchenette. Helpful and friendly staff. Parking was slightly tight for my Duramax and her 28' trailer. Wal Mart and a few good restaurants nearby. This place gets an A+.

The hotel is an extended stay hotel. Has all the things you need inside. Decent price. No pool.

The gal at the front desk was extremely helpful. It was a very busy weekend in town and she was able to get me a non smoking rooms for a great price. Very polite and very helpful.

Staff is very nice, location is great and convenient to restaurants and shopping. Rooms are pretty average. Average cleanliness. A little more attention to detail would go a long way.

My husband and I stayed a night a few weeks back. Loved the full fridge, microwave, stove. The room was clean and very nice. My one concern is the bathroom. No shower mat. Disposable would be nice, especially for someone with a handicap. (like me). Slid quite a bit. Had to have my husband come in and steady me. If in the area again, will definitely stay.

OK hotel. Questionable service. Came to check in, after calling on the courtesy phone waited 5 minutes to be greeted without an apology. I've had better service in a cheaper hotel.

Myself and my wife lived here for about a month. We loved it. The rooms are clean, Wi-Fi is good, Breakfast is also OK. Overall nice hotel.
