Hotel rooms look nothing like their website photos. You should be posting photos of your rooms with actual representation of them. I would have never paid the price had I known it was false advertising. Had a smell of feces by the front desk area. I do not recommend this place.

The staff treated me better than expected. The check in staff were in a good mood and gave me excellent directions to the Porch, witch had equally great staff and good food.

There were people doing meth in the room next to us, and setting their smoke alarm off multiple times. Then they were screaming about having guns and killing cops, the whole places smelled like meth after these people got there. The front desk guy was very rude, not helpful and refused to give us a refund. We had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night. I do not recommend this place at all!

I stayed outside this hotel on Ragbrai 2019. Their helpful staff found my lost wallet and mailed it to me with all the contents still inside. This is an amazing hotel where you can feel secure with your belongings.

Wonderful service, employees all around to help, especially with breakfast. I need a fan to sleep and they found one to loan to me.

What a great hotel and location! The rooms are huge, the Wi-Fi is super fast and the breakfast is super! Right across the street from the Horseshoe Casino! Check the hotel out, you will NOT be disappointed!

During my stay I had $12k worth of tools and clothing stolen! And of course the hotel didn't have cameras… hotel personnel also asked me to fill out a stolen items report because this was not the first time stuff has been stolen off of their property. (in a location cameras dont cover)

Our hot tub room had a malfunction and leaked water all over unbeknownst to us until the front desk called and told us water had leaked into the room below us and the room below that. This would take a LARGE amount of water. One of the desk clerks came up to check it out, didn't mention anything at all the water level and informed us she would send up the maintenance man (why would she send a maintenance man if the water was overflowing? ). So our night was interrupted by the maintenance crew coming up, who had what appeared to be a 6 year old with him. My girlfriend was pretty upset at this point so we decided to leave the hotel. The front desk receptionist refunded our card, my girl friend cried the whole way home because my birthday surprise had been ruined. A few days later my girlfriend checked her credit card for the refund and it had not been issued, when she called and inquired about it the desk clerk advised us the General Manager of the establishment said we had flooded there room and we were not getting a refund. So are you telling me two mid forties adults sitting and talking while sitting in a tub, didn't notice water running over the top of the tub (nevermind the fact that there is an overflow drain) for a long enough period of time for water to leak two entire floors? Under the grounds of the maintenance man said there was nothing wrong with it? Who is to say the maintenance man wasn't covering his own behind?

Our room has been very clean and comfortable (3 nights stay this trip), with wonderful bed linens. The breakfast buffet was ample, always tended to by the conscientious kitchen staff, and delicious with many choices. The registration staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is adjacent to the Mid-America Convention Center and across from a large Cabelas/Bass Pro Store and other shopping. We will stay here again.

We stayed for one night while traveling through the area. Making a last minute reservation was smooth and we had no wait to check in. They had ample amounts of luggage carts and our room was clean and comfortable. We did not use the pool or hot tub, but the area was clean and well kept and we wouldn’t hesitate to on a future visit! The breakfast area was an incredible perk and they opened up earlier than expected (posted time is 6am, but they were open as we were leaving at 5:30am) so we got to enjoy the full spread. Sausage, eggs, home fries, make your own waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit, pastries — we had zero complaints!

We went for a getaway after getting married. We had a really good time! Our room was really nice and very clean. The king bed was very comfortable also.

Nice room. Staff wasn't overly friendly. Pool is tiny for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was good. Most likely would choose elsewhere next time.

Was a comp room from the casino. Pool and hot tub was relaxing. Good hot and cold continental breakfast. Bed was too soft and the pillows were tiny. Bath and pool towels were small. I would stay again if it is comped but not if I had to pay.

Easy access from I-29. Not a lot of restaurants in this area. Located between Horseshoe Casino an a convention center. Good and friendly customer service. Our room had food from prior guests in the chair and on the floor. The A/C is a wall unit. It was dirty and very loud, which made for long sleepless nights. Their breakfast was good.

The staff were extremely rude and made contradicting statements about my stay. My wedding block had rooms given away without my permission, so they were scrambling to find rooms for my family (two different times within a three day span). They charged my card upon check-in, so that was rather unexpected, and they didnt have my name down for my suite (as the bride… I kind of needed one so I could have my ladies get ready with me two days later. When I went to fix one of the room problems, they stated that's "not what they had in the system", so I provided them with an invoice they had given me the night before. The staff continued to be rude, cutting my mom off as she was talking. Overall the staff were not knowledgeable or reliable. The hallways were loud and unchecked, the internet rarely worked, and the cooling system was spotty. I would only recommend this hotel as a means for someone not to get a DUI after a night out.

Worst place I ever stayed in. The room number 310 was smoke smell from cigarettes. Even though they don’t allow smoking anymore they never really refurbish the room so they still stink. I actually checked out and got another hotel for the next four nights. Not recommended.

Stayed there twice in the same room within the past 10 days. During our first stay room was clean, breakfast was good, and overall a good experience. Upon leaving from the first stay we booked the same room for our return trip. We arrived an hour after earliest check-in, the clerk had to check to make sure the room was clean. Upon arriving at our room, the thermostat was set to 80 and was 78 in the room while it was about 91 outside that day. It took our room 5 hours to cool to a comfortable temperature. Additionally one of the couch cushions was displaced, one of the bathroom towels had a hairball hiding in it. There was someone's empty benedryl pill wrapper in the floor by the bed. The bed scarf at the foot of the bed was placed crookedly as is the room was hastily cleaned. Our second stay was definitely more disappointing than the first.

Check in was easy. Room was clean, and a request for a roll away bed was fulfilled. Breakfast was great, and the breakfast room had plenty of space. Check out was also simple. Easy access to the highway.

Matched price on line which was lower than quoted in lobby. Clean and comfortable. Nice free breakfast. We are RVers and had to stay in a hotel unexpectedly and were pleased with our stay. Of course there is no place like our home on wheels.

The room was well kept. The pool and spa was a great temp. Can't wait to go back and enjoy the pool with my son again.

We are very pleased with this place. It's good price/value. Room was clean, facilities clean, super hot shower. Has decent indoor pool and hot tub. It's really close to the highway, close to most omaha/council bluffs attractions. If you enjoy gambling the other nice thing is that you are basically the same parking lot as the Horse Shoe. I'll definitely be recommending this to friends or family coming up from KC.

The vending machines overcharge when using tap to pay, so be warned. Their pool and hot tub were nice, and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It's directly connected to the convention center, so it's hard to beat the convenience of it if you're attending a conference.

Clean rooms and property, warm indoor pool, typical free hotel breakfast, friendly staff, convenient parking. Super quick drive to the Henry Doorly Zoo.

Stayed here for the last two and a half years, over the last several months customer service has definitely went down hill. Used to be great… not so much now. Don't know what happened. I do know there has been a lot of employee turnover… just sayin'

Dirty shower curtain, hair on counter when we checked in, shower head leaking all over when shower on, and heater in the room sounded like a jet engine. Advised the manager of these problems and she told me "it's cold outside". I don't know what that has to do with a room that costed me $189 for one night. But I expect the room to be immaculate at that price range and for the manager to be more empathetic. I didn't ask for a credit. I advised of the problems with the room. I just won't stay there ever again. 2 stars as the reg staff was polite and the breakfast area was maintained very well.

This is a decent hotel. Not a high end hotel. Clean rooms and free breakfast.

Great location right off the interstate and next to Horseshoe Casino. Rooms are showing wear but well maintained. Indoor pool and hot tub are great if you have kids. The free breakfast is probably one of the best in town. Make sure to check in early because the gal at the front desk/night auditor is quite rude and unaccommodating… rest of staff was alright.

I found it for the price (I got off Priceline for $52 a night) to be one of the better ones of a 2.5 star hotel. Nice rooms, pool & hot tub, excellent breakfast & staff was very friendly & helpful! It's probably where I'll be staying Everytime I visit Council Bluffs, Ia.

Clean and spacious room. Large bathroom with lots of counter space. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Lots of breakfast choices. Hot and cold items. Good stay.

My wife and I stayed here on the way out west to the Grand Canyon. The hotel was basically right off the highway. A little tucked into where the casino is. They gave us a great rate for a king bed room that had been recently updated. We basically only slept there but we had a positive experience!

The beds were comfy and they had extra pillows in the room closet already which was nice. There was a small microwave and fridge which was already cold ready for our pops. Not quite enough outlets for a family of phone chargers, we had to unplug the alarm clock. The A/C was not quite cold enough because at night when the curtains were closed it blew under the curtains instead of into the room. The curtains did do a good job of keeping the light out. There was a bathtub but standard hotel tub, not very deep. The shower head had some hard water build up but that almost can't be helped around here. The room had a neutral smell not bad and not overly scented with air freshener or cleaning products. The breakfast was busy so they had to replenish several items by the time we got down there. They did have a decent selection though. My kids used the pool, it's on the small side. It is connected to the Mid America conference center and right across from Horseshoe casino which has a shuttle to Harrah's, this is good for concerts. It's also not too far from several restaurants and the interstate exit. Decent hotel with a convenient location.

The service was nice. The room was clean. There were a lot of running in the halls by kids, but it was beyond their control. The pool wad nice and clean as well. I forgot my key in the room late at night (close to 1am) and I waited a while for someone to come. Other than that, it was a good stay.

This was a amazing hotel! The pool was always clean, and very fun for family and friends. The staff was always very kind and helpful when you asked for something. The rooms were very nice but I do have something about the shower, it is that it doesn't give as much power as I would like but it still gets the job done, the beds were very comfy and soft, there was no stains you would always see the house keeping cleaning rooms. The breakfast was very nice and had long enough hours so that people that liked to sleep in would still be able to eat. Also the cookies at the front were very good! Over all my stay was amazing I did not have to deal with bed bugs or anyone screaming and the hotel is very close to the zoo and it's not to far from restaurants and stores for late night runs.

This place is amazing! A really nice and clean family friendly facility. I have no complaints! The cookies at the front of the lobby were so yummy! The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! They do not offer dinner but that's not a big deal to me. Again a very clean hotel! I LOVED it. The breakfast also was served later in the morning for those who like to sleep in. Again NO complaints!

Stayed here when it was icing and was surprised that they actually gave me a better rate than standard. Usually in that situation they bump up the price because you have to stop. The staff was friendly and professional the room was comfy and clean with all the amenities. Definitely gets a recommendation.

I called to make a reservation and asked for a room with a king size bed for myself and my husband on New years. We just wanted our time away just us and got a room with double beds. I complained to the front desk and the man was very rude. I realized it was not his fault but the attitude I got was unacceptable. When we got into the room the the toliet was so stained up with feces I took pics, the tub was full of hair and the lining was brown. I paid $170 for a room that I didn't want to use the bathroom.

Hotel was nice. Hot tub was closed due to inadequate chemicals. Personally I believe they made up an excuse so they could close the pool area down. There was no sign stating any issues with the hot tub. An employee came in to tell us to get out. The pool area was fine the night before.

Very clean large spacious rooms, the breakfast is great way above your average choices quite a few healthy selections also, if you leave hungry it's your own fault. I would easily suggest this Inn to my family and friends. The location can't be beat either, you're centrally located to all the main attractions within 10-15 minutes to most. As a testament to my review let it be known I have stayed here before. However where there is pros there is cons sure to follow, the parking is very short and sweet, not the fault of Country Inn & Suites but from the very large casino literally next door. Starting in the early evening the patrons of the casino start stealing parking from them because it's closer front door parking then some of the their own distant spaces, this is typically the only con.

Easy location to get to and very convenient. Clean, quiet, room. (Mini fridge in room, but no complimentary bottles of water? Pretty standard nowadays. ) Felt dark and dated, but did not detract from experience. Continental breakfast not impressive. Ended up getting breakfast at nearby Burger King instead. Would stay there again though for the price.

Not happy with the room at all for what we paid. Most of staff was rude. I booked 2 rooms 3 months in advance and they split us up then when I asked to be put together you would of thought I asked for a million dollars. Friends had gnats all over their room a/c hardly worked. Room service didn't come till 5:30 in evening. Pool sucked nothing like the pictures show. Our refrigerator leaned forward so things fell out and thermostat was broken. Pictures look great but reality this place was horrible. We will never stay again and have told people to stay elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast was great, and the pool/hot tub was clean. We even liked our mattress, which can be hard to find in a hotel. The rate during this year's College World Series was pretty steep, but so were all the competitor rates. Would definitely stay again while in the Omaha area.

We had an experience that ranks as the worst kind of situation you can have in a hotel. I peeled back the sheets to get into bed and there was something on the sheets that was from the previous occupants. It was late, we were tired and wanted to go to bed. The front desk person brought us clean sheets, however they were for the sleeper sofa bed. We put the flat sheet on the bed then put the comforter over us and went to sleep. In the morning, I told the manager about our experience and while he was appropriately concerned he seemed unable to take the next step to address our experience.

The only downfall was the continental breakfast room is a tad bit small for all the guests. Other than that the rooms were clean the staff was friendly and the location was great.

I booked my reservation 4 weeks in advance, on the website it asked if I wanted 2 queens or 1 king in the rooms I booked, I selected 2 queens as I was booking for my buddy's bachelor party and 2 guys would be staying in each room. When we arrived they said they had us in rooms with 1 king bed. They were unwilling to do anything to resolve the situation. Terrible customer service.

The hotel was in decent shape. Could be a little more attentive to cleaning details, but overall fine.

Country Inn is located in Council Bluffs right off the highway behind Bass pro Shop. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great, we even got to make our own waffles. The only drawback from our trip was that the pool was closed for maintenence.

Best Price for a 2 person whirlpool tub I could find. Saved me from driving to Des Moines for our weekend getaway. Also had a great breakfast in the morning. Yum.

We had a very positive experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything that was advertised to be in the room was there fridge and microwave. They also provided a pack-n-play for our 1yr old with no hassle. Breakfast was available promptly at posted times and was advertised although nothing super special. The pool area was clean and well maintained. We would stay here again.

The insulation in this place is non existent. The walls shake anytime someone on any floor opens and closes a door which is lame at 2 a. M.

The employees were all very nice. The room was simple and nice. The hot breakfast wasn't amazing, but it was nice to have some biscuits and gravy (which I don't normally have). The funny-looking eggs seemed a little manufactured (like the egg patties at McDonalds). But the breakfast did the trick. There was a spa that I tried out. It was okay, but you couldn't control the temperature so I was a bit bummed (it wasn't hot enough for my liking). The hotel is across the parking lot from a casino, which didn't bother me. One issue is that my key cards kept malfunctioning, which kept me from being able to get into my room. This happened twice but was easy to fix: just get a new card at the front desk. The front desk attendant told me that the cards can get deactivated if near magnets or electronics (like a smart phone). I have never experienced this before, so it seemed a bit odd.

First of all — very little parking up front — of course it was full — so I parked in the back — but the doors in the back require a key card to enter. Around the hotel I went. The room was as described and clean — but obviously not designed for the business traveler — I haven't been in a room that I had to move the "desk" to get to an outlet for a long time. When I set up my computer, I had to move the "work table" to get to a power outlet. Once I hooked up to the "high speed wireless" I was elated to find a 0.25 download speed. Uh, what the heck? In any case, I won't be coming back — even though County Inn and Suites is my preferred hotel — but not here.

We stayed 4-11-12 for the night just to get away. It was a week night so we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves and it was very nice. The room was the cleanest I have ever stayed in and very large. The bathroom was amazing. Staff was wanderfully friendly and breakfast I thought was the best you can get from a hotel of this standard. For the price and area, go to Denver and see what you will pay. We do recommend this hotel to everyone and we visit alot of hotels.

Very nice hotel. We usually stay there for The Best In The Midwest Tattoo Convention. Very clean. A+.
