Checking out of our overnight stay as I write this. The interior is clean and very aesthetically pleasing. Good size mini fridge, large TV with plenty of channels. Coffee maker in the room. Clean beautiful bathroom in the room. Good place to stay.

Great location right on the lake, beautiful room, and friendly service. We'll come back for another ladies' college reunion.

This new management is pathetic! I book rooms every year at this hotel and it has gone under new management and I will never stay here again, they obviously don’t know customer service! They have screwed up our reservation for this July 100%. I booked a double queen room with patio last July for my husband and our 2 adult children. My 2 other sisters and their family stay also. I called to confirm the reservation as I heard there was new ownership. They had the wrong dates, a king room booked for us, instead of double queen. They made no apologies for goofing up, just blamed it on the old management. I got harassed with 3 mean phone calls on Mother’s Day. The final phone call came from owner who yelled at me that they don’t want me to stay there with my attitude… seriously, a family vacation booked a year ago with no remorse or solution for us besides they are booked. How is a family of 4 to stay in a king bed? I told them I will never go to their establishment again, as they don’t know customer service! Beware people if you have a problem! Looks like they came in and did a very much needed remodel, they won’t survive if they can’t accommodate when there is an error done on their end. I have the confirmation paper indicating dates and rooms and that made no difference. Poor, poor management. There are lots of other places to stay in Clear Lake and I’ll gladly give my tmoney to those who appreciate their customers.

The worst hotel… completely terrible. First off it smells musty. It definitely needs an update. Next up, the beautiful view is sadly not yours when you stay there. The restaurant literally has tables on the slab of cement outside if you patio door… we are talking about 3 feet from your patio door. Close enough to hear their conversations, and this doesn’t leave enough room to even have a lawn chair to look at the lake. Manager/Owner was no help, in fact when I asked if we could be moved to a room where we could be on patio the manager said no… after he thought I had left he told the front desk girl he really didn’t care if I wasn’t happy. Real class act. I of course came back and asked why he didn’t care… he laughed and said, “well I guess I really am not going to make you happy now. ” Yep… on a side note the restaurant was great! Service was wonderful and the food was great. Just don’t stay here… EVER.

There is a restaurant/bar directly outside of the rooms. They have live bands and are open to the public. Could be a neat place to just go hang out but not if you're staying here. The bar is open late so it's nearly impossible to get any sleep at a decent hour. Another serious downside is that there is no reserved parking for guests. The parking lot was full with people there for the bar so I had to park over a block away.

Great location on the lake with easy boat ramp access and docking. Restaurant and bar downstairs was good for a reasonable price. Hotel was clean but slightly dated. Continental breakfast was not worth it unless grabbing something quick. Would give it 4.5 out of 5 but unfortunately, we got yelled at by staff in the restaurant during lunch (in front of other customers) for parking in a "no parking" spot that appeared to be a spot in the parking lot, but had no sign or barriers. Talk to the manager who was very pleasant. After a few hours, the staff did apologize but it definitely put a damper on our entire holiday. Other than apologizing, nothing else was done to remedy the situation. Would go back to restaurant and bar but not hotel.

Amazing views from every single room — — they all overlook the lake! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. You get $15 per room at the landing (the restaurant attached to the hotel) for breakfast. They have free coffee in the lobby — so get your coffee up there instead of paying $3 for it at the landing.
