After a long day of driving we decided to stop at the Baymont in Tuscola, the room was clean and quiet. The young girl working the front desk, I believe her name was Cassidy was so friendly and welcoming. She really went out of her way with great customer service to help make our stay more enjoyable. We travel frequently and choose our hotels based on good experiences. So many places have employees that are rude and have forgotten that without customers you don’t have a business. This young lady was very professional and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Exceptional customer service! The room was nice but we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family when traveling through one hundred percent because of Cassidy’s great personality and professionalism at the front desk. We could tell she likes her job and she is definitely great at it. Thank you to this exceptional girl for making our stay a great one we truly appreciate all you did!

Clean rooms great staff just all around goodness they make you feel at home.

My pre-teen children and I took an impromtu toad trip and chose to stay at the Baymont in Tuscola. The kids especially loved the pool area and the continental breakfast in the morning. The shower had the best shower pressure I have ever experienced at a hotel.

I slept like a baby. The bed was SO comfortable. Danielle at the front desk was was amazingly helpful. They have a breakfast bar, you make your own waffles. Yum. Cereal was a little stale and their a. C had a weird smell. But other then that, they would of had a 5 star from me.

We went in late at night without a reservation. They were pleasant, had a room available for us, and price matched a much better price. The hotel was clean and quiet and close to the highway.

A nice place but no elevator to second floor so it sucks carrying luggage and other up and down the stairs.

Check in was easy however the girl checking me in was unable answer my questions about where our room was located. Our room was spacious, clean and just what we wanted. It was very reasonably priced. We got a room with a whirlpool tub and a balcony overlooking the pool. I had thought that perhaps the sounds from the pool would interrupt our evening but I did not hear a peep. We would stay again.

Location was good, right off the interstate and next to local attractions. The rooms were fine, clean, no frills but were acceptable. The service was exceptional, front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Hotel was very nice and easy to get in and out of. Only thing that could be a little different is the breakfast. Good thing there is a Burger King right next door. Will stay here again!

Clean rooms, good internet, plenty of places to eat and great staff.

Very accommodating. Needed a crib we got it. Front desk super nice. Fun pool and hot tub and very comfy rooms.

No customer service at all. I made a reservation in person two weeks before my stay. The meeting I had in the area was canceled so I called the hotel direct, immediately, which was the day before my stay (more than 24 hours ahead) I was charged for the room anyway. The manager would not return my money even through the room was canceled and available for them to use. If it is worth the $94. They got off me to loose any further business from my family they better use the money well as unless I am reimbursed they will get no more.

I love when a place just really meets my expectations. Great staff, clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms, everything was modern and in great working condition. The linens and towels were super soft. I would definitely stay at the Baymont again next time I'm in Tuscola, IL.

Staff was very friendly, the pool was nice, and everything was very clean. The bed and pillows were slightly below great but that comes with the price. The showerhead was excellent and water pressure was good. Overall good experience.

Good night sleep and pool, whirlpool was a Oasis after a long day of driving. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful.

Friendly and Proffesional Staff, Nice Atmosphere, Fair prices, Pool and Hot Tub were nice. The room was comfortable, clean, and nice and cool from a hot day. I'd recommend to other people.

Staff was very professional and nice. Beds were comfortable. It just needs to be updated. New carpet would make a big difference. But I'd stay there again!

The first thing I noticed about the Baymont was its fantastic location. It's just off I-57, which takes you directly to Champaign or Chicago. There are also several restaurants nearby, which was convenient. I always appreciate when a hotel lets me check in early. Tuscola doesn't have a lot to do, so I was very grateful. I was very surprised on check in that the lobby, which is adjacent to the pool, does not smell like chlorine at all. The check in process was quick, which is always nice. When I got to the room, I was a little worried because there were a few kids in the room next door. But when I went into my room I didn't hear anything. A plus soundproofing, seriously. As hotels go, this place was decent. Water heat and pressure were great, the room temperature was easily manageable, and there were WAY more channels than I need. The only real down side to the entire hotel is that there's only one entrance and exit to the parking lot, which was a little bit hectic when I left. And if that's the only complaint I have, this hotel definitely earned it's 5 star rating. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

The location is great, right next to the outlet mall. People were friendly, and the whirlpool suite was amazing!

The room was nice and the staff were friendly. There were no problems with the hotel itself. The big problem were the incessant freight trains that came through several times at night and would not stop blowing their whistles. The whistling seemed to go on for minutes and kept waking me from a sound sleep. If you like a nice room, friendly service, and train whistles, this place is great. The whistles were a deal breaker for me.

The room was nice, could of been a little cleaner. The staff was very nice, and very helpful. The breakfast was good, I would of liked to see some sausage, or eggs. The pool was nice, not very clean around the pool, to many kids running through with no parental supervision. Otherwise, for the price it was a pretty good deal.

This hotel is such a disappointment anymore. It has consistently declined over the years. Our room was not very clean. The hallways and stairwells are absolutely filthy. The building is in need of repairs. The steps to the second floor are covered in a plastic material that is coming loose. It is very easy to catch you foot on it… a real safety hazard. The only thing worse is the staff. There is NO sense of customer service. I get the feeling that these people don't even realize it is their job to help their guests. I have stayed here for the last time. Super 8 across the street is more spartan, but at least the rooms are clean and the mattresses do not feel like they all need to be replaced!

I don't feel this hotel is worth the cost. The room wasn't very clean. The shower curtain had a giant booger on it. The rooms below us were being remodeled and we could hear an air compressor kick on every 5 minutes. Called the front desk and was told they were going to work until 9:00pm. Also we got a non — smoking room but the hallway smelled so bad of smoke that our room smelled like it as well. If you're going to pay $100 do it somewhere else.

Location was good (just off the interstate), got a good price, but… cracks in the walls and ceiling, pool water was cold, hallways ALWAYS had a heavy cigarette smoke smell. No elevator to get to second floor (only stairs). Place was quiet as it was pretty empty.
