Someone's face mask left in the sink food crumbs in the microwave hair in the sink and counter in the bathroom hair in the toilet and on the seat the heater/ac unit caked with dust dirty yellow stained curtains staff doest wear face masks hair on my pillow case smells like weed and cigs in the hallway elevator doesn't work no pool no workout room no office for the
guests driveway is 90% ice hand rail in the hallway is busted paint peeling in the rooms we had 217 and 219 came to visit family 400 and some change for the weekend and it is a joke this place should be shut down only thing good is no roaches that I've seen at least.

Reggie at the front desk is always first class professional.

Very clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave us some different suggestions on getting down to the Cardinals game. Also gave us a recommendation for a nearby restaurant. Breakfast was great in the morning everything was fresh! Thanks for the great stay I would highly recommend!

Great hotel right off the main interstate. Hotel is very clean and I always enjoy my stay there. Shout out to Ashley who is very friendly and professional. I found her attitude is so friendly and her smile genuine.

Bunk beds in the family suite are awesome! The kids were excited to have their own room too. Breakfast is decent, staff is friendly. Awesome little kitchenette too.

Everything is in excellent condition: room, lobby, pool, which is indoors. Very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable. Room was not cramped. They offer full breakfast but, unfortunately, we had to leave before it started. Will definitely return if we go back to the area.

What a surprise. When walking in, the hotel was very clean and the employee made us feel very welcome. He gave us a great room for the price. The bathtub was the size of two. The next morning I visited the fitness room, everything worked but there were no towels, no cleaner to clean the machines, no water in the water cooler. The breakfast was good, but part way through the worker went somewhere and many items ran out with no way to get more.

It was easy to get to, room was clean and breakfast was good. That is why we chose best western.

Great internet (42 Mbps). Good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Good water pressure in shower. Easy to access HDMI ports on TV.

Great room. Only issue was that the first room I was given already had guests in it. I was given a different room and didn't have any other issues.

Really cool pink exterior and 1920s style decor. Great service and comfortable rooms.

The bed was nice but our ceiling fan in the bathroom didn't work and neither did our hairdryer. The free breakfast looked ok but when there is a cracker barrel across the street you just can't pass that up.

Great stop for truckers and travelers with ample parking for larger vehicles, trailers and RVs. Rooms were very large and clean and at a very good price.

I work for Hawkeye Irrigation and it's sprinkler turn on/repair season. The owner of the hotel walks up shakes my hand and asks if we're doing alright? Yes! He says anything we need just ask! Coffee! "Sure tell them the owner said you can get coffee! " No big deal, you say? Well I had dirt and mud on my hands. Most owners in the global trade economy wouldn't be so nice, but this one sure was! And so is the owner of Hawkeye Irrigation!

Hotel was clean and conveniently located right off the highway. The room was spacious for our family of 4. The room included a small kitchenette with a mini-frig, microwave & small sink. The hot breakfast was good. The breakfast ended a little early on the weekends. Also, the staff would only bring out a few of the hot items at a time.

When we checked in red you was a force to be reckoned with. He was high energy and had a great personality. He checked us in we got to our room it was clean beds were comfortable. The only downside was the Internet seem to cut in and out often. We also missed breakfast by 10 minutes.

A clean, modern hotel. Nice indoor pool and free breakfast. The staff was warm and accommodating, I hope to return to stay here again soon.

Checked in early evening after driving 8+ hours in inclement weather. Given. Room right next to elevator which made noises all night… overlooked this! Heater was so loud, we turned it off and it STILL banged on and off allll night… tried to overlook it. Woke up at 6 a. M. To start another 8+ hour day of driving, to doing no water! Water main had burst in extreme cold! No breakfast as planned, no shower and no teeth brushing! Could NOT overlook this! Expected more than a partial refund! Poor business practice on this hotels part! Too many other choices out there!

Enjoyed spending two nights here. Clean, comfortable rooms. Clean bathroom. Breakfast was better than most. Room was a lot more quiet than we expected. Person on duty gave us several good suggestions on where to eat. Check in and check out went smooth. Like that.

This hotel is clean inside and out. The staff I met was friendly. The location is handy to travelers on I-70 and I-55. I rated this place on small details; like the shower curtain was to small and installed backwards allowing water to go onto the floor, no body or hand lotion and the staff didn't pay attention to the breakfast area — when it got low they did not restock it — but ate from it. The room was large with nice amenities.

Nice hotel with spacious rooms. Room had two queen beds with mini kitchen. Recently updated. Standard breakfast included.

Overall if you need a place to stay this place isn't the worst. It has clean and rooms that have more than enough space but, the service and staff are adequate at best.

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was better than most. Reggie was at the front desk when we requested 3 rooms. He was very helpful and had a smile the entire time! We were traveling across country for a move and having this hotel to rest at was perfect!

Nice people in guest services. Room clean, bed adequate. Roomy fridge for those of us that travel with igloos. Shower head needed to be replaced. Tub surface very slippery, had to use hand towel to keep from hurting myself.

This is a nice, clean hotel. Staff has been very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good & well supplied. They even opened the breakfast area for a group to play cards. Good beds, a kitchenette and a huge bathtub. Easy access from the freeway with plenty of parking. Lots of restaurants and other establishments nearby.

Upon first impression looked okay however after pulling the bed away from the wall just before bed we saw the great big stickie pad with probably every type of bug in Illinois on it. We felt like we were crawling all not. Got up and left in the early hours of the morning.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The rooms are clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff is very friendly. Liked having laundry facilities. Close to the highway and many restaurants. Our only dislike we're the hot items offered for breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel at a good location. Big rooms, very comfortable bed, nice big bathroom and very clean. Very friendly staff who smiled and listened to what you had to say. A nice variety of items for breakfast. A very enjoyable stay.

The front desk staff at check-in was so rude that we almost walked out. The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The outside appearance of the hotel was not appealing as all of the windows were covered in plastic due to the exterior being painted. There were indications that maintenance/repairs inside the room were poorly done (grout between the tile floor in the bathroom and caulking, closet rod was coming off of the wall). However, I would say the value was good for the reasonable room rate, the hotel's public areas were clean and modern, the free breakfast, and front desk staff at check-out the following morning were as helpful and genuinely caring as the check-in staff person was not. It's too bad that our first impression on arrival was so disappointing as we are unlikely to recommend this hotel.

My family and I had an unexpected stay at this hotel when a freeway closure stopped us from coming home. The hotel was immaculate and the hotel staff was more than accommodating. They were very hospitable and kind. The breakfast was amazing! Everything was neat and labeled. The hotel workers made sure breakfast went on without a hitch. We did not have any issues or complaints during our stay. The receptionist upon check in was great! He was very easy to talk to and made us feel welcome. Checking in and out was a breeze! They printed and emailed me a receipt. Hands down best stay in a hotel yet. We will definitely be staying there again when we travel through!

Everything was good until we tried to use the bathroom. The bottom of the toilet seat needed cleaning. Then the shower had to be held with your hand because if you put it in the bracket all the water went into your face. The tub had no place to put the shampoo or soap except for the outside rim of the tub. The tub needed cleaning on the outside near the floor. The room, the bed and the surrounding area were good. There was no information regarding available TV channels. It could have been a perfect night with some improvements.

Clean. Friendly staff. No bugs! And BTW iys no longer the Holiday inn. Its a Best Western now.

Internet doesn't work, fitness area closed, no longer branded Holiday Inn or Best Western. It's a small operator and I was very disappointed with my stay.

First, beware alot of reviews are probably fake, but Its now a bestwestern, had a king suite, and the room was nice but the bathroom tub had hair, a towel was stained, the bunkbed sheet wasnt changed properly, simply lack of care in a job, lack of managment also, otherwise it was nice and it served its purpose.

Great breakfast, clean, and kind staff but there were sugar ants in the bed sheets… it's that time of year but I still would have expected to have not had that kind of issue. I'm so mixed on how many stars to give this place.

No weights and they were calling the eliptical machine a nautilis. Pictures of exercise room were deceiving.
