Snobby service, loud rooms high price for what you get.

Every one was really nice and we had a great time.

The employees were the key to our trip. The staff was fabulous. Helpful, kind, courteous, and understanding after a long day for us.

Rooms are nice. What puts them over the top are the staff. World class.

My wife and I are Truck drivers. Need a connection to the outside world every once in a while. The Staff was Super friendly, Super Helpful, and just plain Nice! the room was spacious and clean. The grounds were neat and clean. They even have a guest laundry room! It's a beautiful Hotel with Lovely people.

Had a great midwinter staycation here with the grand babies! High 5’s to Belinda, Andrew, and of course the breakfast cook! Warm pool! Warm pool area! Awesome breakfast! Not to mention the clean and comfy rooms! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. Can’t wait to come visit again!

Apparently having a working toilet in hotel room is too much to ask for.

Under construction but very dirty inside and out. Dumpster material everywhere outside and looked to be that way for quite some time. Mens room right next to main office had not been cleaned, and the toilet was full… you get the idea Move on to the next town.

Its nice the hotel is updating however pool has been having problems for the last several months with the heater. It's hard for the kids to enjoy when the pool is an ice bath. The heater was fixed at one point in time but it's broken again. I really like this place so I hope they can figure out the pool heater issue.

Clean rooms, nice CSR, spacious rooms, pool, breakfast, was great checking me in and out. Doing some great updates to the place I noticed. Thank you for a good night rest.

They are renovating right now. The first floor was being worked on right now. The room we stayed in was newly renovated. It still has the new carpet smell. I was pleased with the room.

Just finishing an extensive renovation, a nice modern look and feel to the place. The staff was very good and the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable, one of the best I've ever had.

The hotel was overbooked during our stay of the remodeling, we were there with 40 soccer families for tournament, in addition there were other soccer families. During the stay the elevator over heated and one of the dads was stuck in the elevator for 15 minutes. No carpet in hallways, nails on staircase, pool area is gross, only one working staircase. The breakfast room was to small to accommodate the guest. Our rate was not the same as our team, and the general manager was not willing to adjust the rate, the mistake was on their end, when we checked in we were given a room that was not ready, no sofa and was still being remodeled. There is no lobby or sitting area, and there were 2 small guest that were coloring at the counter at the front desk talking about that they were folding towels and vacuuming the rooms? Because of the customer service with the general manager at this hotel I would NOT recommend staying here, there are other hotels in the area.

Nice remodeled rooms. Windows don't line up to lock! Heater in our room was really messed up. Set at 68, went to 80. Good breakfast selection. Nice happy hour.

Under renovation currently, so that was kinda a downer. But, my room was already done and it was very nice! Plus the, weekday social was nice for snacks and beer…

I thought I'd written a review about this place. The staff was amazing. I felt like I was welcome. They were very engaging. The room we had was nice. They're in the process of renovating, so things were a little rough outside of the rooms on our floor. The only thing that was wrong in the room was that we had a few towels that didn't look clean so we didn't use them. I hope that they update their TVs. I couldn't connect an HDMI cable to the TVs. The Queen suite is really nice if you're interested in upgrading to that. It's literally across the street from a 2 truck stops and Walmart is less than 1 mile away. We would definitely stay there again.

I stay at a lot of Holiday Inns over the course of the year. This one was fantastic. The new updates are modern and efficient with ample lighting. The pool area was large. Breakfast was on par with other Expresses. A few things made this place really stand out. They had complimentary beer, wine and food on a few days during the week after 1830. You usually only see this at Staybridge. Lastly, the person who checked me in, Lauren I think, was courteous and fast. Everything at this Holiday was on point. Can’t think of one thing that was a negative.

The rooms were very clean, the staff was very friendly and so helpful. I love that they had a washer and dryer. The breakfast was very good they had quite a bit to choose from. If I am ever in this area again this is wear I would stay. Thanks to the staff for making this place so great!

This Hotel is currently being renovated. I was lucky enough to get to stay in one of the new suites. It was incredible. Not only that but the staff here is wonderful. So incredibly informative and kind. They went above and beyond to make my family feel welcome. This is the only hotel I'll stay at locally! Thank you for a great night's rest!

Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Staff kept rooms stocked with towels and toiletries. Breakfast was typical continental style and was kept well stocked. Only real issue was a breakfast time discrepancy. The welcome book in the hotel stated breakfast would be served until 10am but when we arrived to eat at 9:33, it had already been packed up and put away. I guess there was a sign on the door stating breakfast would be served until 9:30 but alas, we did not see it. They had to have begun breaking it down before 9:30 for it to be completely cleaned up by 9:33.

No major issues. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and organized. Did make a request to be on the 3rd floor and not to be in a handicap room which they said they would do. (both requests were got ignored (1st floor and handicap). Otherwise I have no complaints.

Busy, but the walls a pretty noise proof for the 2 sports teams of kids that checked in after I did. Staff was pleasant, rooms clean, ample parking.

Recently our client, traveling comedian Jeb Wright, stayed here while on tour through the area and had a fantastic night's stay! The staff was very friendly, room was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was perfect! He was also able to get some laundry done while relaxing by the pool. Thanks for taking such great care of your guests!

One time I rented a room at holiday inn in Rochelle Illinois and I was walking near two housekeeping and one of them was the head housekeeping because she told me one time and the other one was a housekeeping that cleans the rooms. And when I was passing by the head housekeeping was treating really bad to the other housekeeping and she was hispanic. And I really won't be staying there anymore because I don't like people that discriminate race. And people that are a little bit older like her why are the company letting her work if she can't. I am not discriminating but I have seen her that she can't work that heavy job. And I write it here because I have witness how they treat the housekeeping they treat them bad.

Average visit, but would not recommend this location to anyone. Caleb was a good host, but didn't seem very professional. The man came off a bit hangover and like he didn't want to be there. The woman at the front desk didn't have a nametag but heard her referred to as "Laura" so I can't mention her name for accuracy, but she had a visible nicotine patch and swears like a sailor. She kept yelling at some of the employees. The room we had was alright but nothing special. The only good thing about this location was the breakfast. Not a single welcome was said upon arrival either. Thumbs down!

Holiday Inn 3rd Floor has been recently finished and looks outstanding and modern, cozy for any family and work stop anytime and day. Our construction crew had an amazing time sharing moments during the projects in the area and basically the entire Hospitality crew responded with urgency in attend to our needs and helped us with facilitating our schedules. A great location, we can't wait for the other floors to be done, so the entire place looks shiny and new. We are very thankful for Holiday Inn Express Rochelle services! We recommend this hotel as the main hotel in the area for any kind of stay!

I'm in a hotel 4 nights a week and this is my favorite place. Great staff and clean rooms! Don't ever be afraid to stay here.

We booked our room several months in advance. Check in is at 3. At 4:45, my room still isn't ready. Ridiculous. Staff isn't very apologetic. I had to ask how I will be compensated for the inconvenience. Unless you have hours to waste waiting around for your room, I suggest finding another hotel.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Rooms and common areas were clean. Right off interstate with many dining and gas stations near by.

Good location for where I had to work nice staff but room was not as clean as I hoped as I found other people hair on my pillow and not just a few strains ask to be moved but hotel was booked so had to stay put for the remainder of 5 day stay.

Breakfast was really good, and they give out cookies at night. So in my book they're great!

It's the nicest hotel in town. We stayed there recently and froze all night long when we reported it to the front desk the girls response was ya I know there is a trick to it you should have called. My question is if they knew there was a problem why was it not repaired?

Clean and we'll appointed however my heater made annoying clicking noises occasionally. Needed earplugs to sleep.

Summer was friendly and the young lady setting up the breakfast was pleasant and worked so hard since someone called in. Such a nice group of people.

Our family was there at the end of August for a wedding. I have to complement the staff who were all helpful and polite, but particularly, Trevor, who was very helpful to all of us upon checking in and during our stay there with providing suggestions, directions, etc. Our room was clean and comfortable. No complaints and we were able to use the fitness center that was a couple mile away from the hotel. .

The room was comfortable and quiet. The desk clerk gave us excellent suggestions and directions to a restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was great!

Stayed here for about a week with my girlfriend. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were nice and clean, and it was very pretty and attractive inside. Staff was nice and always helpful. Your room was always cleaned when you weren't there to look nice again when you get back. Had a slight faucet problem, but not a huge concern. The only reason this place gets 4/5 stars is because their breakfast is god awful. I grabbed a carton of sour milk, and it was disgusting. Their biscuits are soggy, cereal stale, and omelettes runny. Horrible. But beyond that, it was a good experience. Would stay again.

This holiday inn needs to train staff better. Housekeeping doesn't knock before entering which left my husband in an embarrassing situation. I hope you won't need the business center fax machine/printer out of order and no consistant internet connection. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. Management put us in a handicapped room and when we asked to be switched on our second day of five we were told it wasn't going to happen Then on day four they called and woke us up and said they needed it for a handicapped guest.

This is an old girl but it is clean and the best option in this town.

Upon checking in housekeeping was sitting in lobby eating while the lobby needed a good vacuum. Hotel going rate this day was 129.00 My stay was brief on Oct. 6th 2013 RM 116 I found black bugs on the wall and Cob webs in the upper corners where these bugs were. I left 10mins. After checking in. I've stayed at. Many HI seems like many are slacking, but keep raising there price. Headed to the Hilton in Rockford Illinois. Robert M.

I wish I could say we had a good experience here. The hotel is new and very clean, and the free breakfast was nice. Unfortunately, it was very loud all night, and then we had a bigger problem. My husband left an item there, and we only realized when we got home. So he called, and the young man on the phone assured us that it would be right in the mail. Four days later, my husband called back, only to find that the message hadn't even been given to the manager, and nothing had been done. All things being equal, service is everything. We won't be staying here again.

Clean. Nice rooms. Good location. Good free breakfast. Executive suite is nice with 2 lcd tv's. Free paper at ur door in the morning.
