Simply read their response to not being able to figure out how to apply a gift card from their own company.

Nice clean hotel nice staff.

Not bad for the price and the small, tired motel is being upgraded and renovated so it will be nice when it is finished. The pool and hot tub looked inviting, but were closed. The staff was friendly, but it would have been nice if someone had called us and let us know that ahead of time so that we could have made alternate plans. Now I know why they didn't. Rating would have been one star higher otherwise.

Room was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of pillows! Front desk lady was very accommodating and pleasant. Had a great stay. Only problem was the room was very cold and when I tried to turn it down it would only shut off so got warm in the middle of the night. But other than that it was great!

Stayed at Comfort Inn in Quincy, Illinois, terrible! Room was gross, vent over air conditioning was busted, bottom of tub was stained. Took my granddaughter to use the pool, it was closed but no sign saying so on door. I went to tell the desk clerk, she laughed and said, "I guess I better put one up. " She also argued with me when I asked for an extra pillow and blanket for the pullout bed. If I'm ever out this way again I will NEVER stay there again!

Dont seem to know what they are doing. Some of the housekeeping staff is AWESOME. Other half not so great. Shout out to Candi!

Clean place But the pool is never available and do not respect the service hours very bad PPR part of the manager.

The manager is by far the best ive ever seen at a motel/hotel of that category.

We came for a funeral. Had to go and find breakfast elsewhere as the breakfast was terrible! No yogurts in fridge, eggs looked old and the biscuits were so hard I could not even cut with a knife and fork. The employee was too busy flirting with the construction workers and did not replenish food items. The hottub was freezing so we could not even unwind after a tough day! I would recommend finding somewhere else to stay while in Quincy! From previous reviews have lots of problems with the hottub and pool. We stayed during 4/20 to 4/22.

Outside appearance hotel excellent got inside very clean and excellent staff checking in, front desk told us spa and pool down which we were looking forward to heat element broke down getting pieces sent right away. Got to room excellent appearance bed very comfortable, ac/ heat works very well, bathroom awesome. Plan on visiting again.

Room smelled like a musty basement, there was black mold around the shower head, and coming out of the light switch on the other side of the wall, so that entire section of wall was full of mold! They deactivate your room key every day! So any time you leave to go do anything, you will have to go back to the front desk to get a new key! Beyond inconvenient! Mold all around the small pool, and the jets in the hot tub aim straight up making it impossible to relax while constantly getting pelted with hot water. Will never stay here again when visiting town.

AWESOME! After travelling all day on motorcycle we found ourselves in Hannibal, MO and it seems not a great place to stay so we fired up that Internet machine and Priceline identified this hotel in Quincy. What's a little more driving for hopes of a hotel with a clean, warm bed and restaurants within walking distance. We arrived and within 25 minutes and I was amazed at the efficiency of the person working the desk (10/6/2017). I don't recall ever checking in so quickly at any hotel I've ever stayed at. She asked my name, I handed here I. D. And credit card, I signed and she handed me keys. I'll bet it didn't take a minute. And indeed, the room was clean and the bed warm and comfortable. Kudos to the young woman working the desk and kudos to the ownership/management of this hotel. I've had previous experiences at hotels that show that the effort is not put into the business either in maintenance or training of personnel including the fall-out from the previous nights stay which involved double billing and hours on the phone. I don't know what would happen if things didn't work quite properly at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Quincy, IL but I'd be willing to bet that the staff is trained and capable of handling most anything in a reasonable fashion. Again, KUDOS!

Don’t stay here! We called ahead for a reservation with pets, specifically mentioning one was a large dog. We checked in, again mentioning that we were traveling with two dogs. Even questioned when the pet fee didn’t appear to be included on the room costs. Were told by the desk clerk “it’s included”. Next morning some miles down the road, we received a quite rude call from a manager demanding to know if we had a pet in the room and if it was a large dog. We said “yes, just as we said we did when we reserved and checked in”. She proceeded to accuse us of sneaking a dog in and of violating their size restrictions. Rudely (First we had heard of any size restrictions). The staff was apparently not informed on their own policy, or of the fees and how to charge them. Very disrespectful of the customers, rude, uninformed. Avoid this motel!

Older hotel. Smelled a little old. But the room and bed were comfortable to sleep in. Not a bad stay.

Check in was very slow. Small lobby not a lot of room. To move around multiple people in area. No restroom in lobby Rooms pretty good had a funny smell to them like stale smoke.

The room wasn't bad but we had a major issue with GM, no issues upon check in or the majority of the stay, the receptionist knew I had more than 4 people in room, by people I mean myself and children. I signed the receipt agreeing to the charges for one suite, the next day after checking out I realized on my bank account that they charged me for 2 rooms and when I called to speak to the GM she was extremely rude and unprofessional and said since I had over 4 in my room they were charging me double. Had someone told me this while checking in I would have gone to another hotel as I have many many times in the past with no issues. I will never again and I highly recommend never staying at this hotel.

Good enough, for Quincy. It's now a smoke free motel, but our room smelled like an ashtray because in the bad old days before smokers were relegated to second class citizenship it was in the smoking allowed wing. Didn't bother me …

This was a horrible experience. My mom got hurt due to the hotel's failure and then they didn't even have a bandaid. Then to make matters worse when we informed the employee present he never apoligized or even showed much concern. I would hate to be actually hurt woke staying here.

Very comfortable stay. Satisfying free breakfast.

Our room smelled horrible. Had to get fabreeze so we could stand it. Dirty sock was under sink in bathroom. Toilet was dirty.

Stayed there in February had an additional charge on my credit card two days later after check out. Discussed issue with Mary the manager. Now its been almost 3 months and she will not return my calls or is never there when I call her.

Not very nice rooms. Washing machine was broken and front desk didn't know.

This location is nice. Not really anything bad to say about it. Rooms are kept very clean, employees are polite and will ask how your day was, nice place to stay in quincy. The only bad thing maybe the hot tub wasn't very hot, but nothing really to complain about considering how nice they keep everything else. I would recommend to anyone.

It was really great! They gave us a discounted rate having checked in the same day as Christmas Eve! Pet friendly. Stayed here twice and would definitely choose them again.

The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, pillows were great, love fluffy pillows, my only complaint, was the floors! Were ditry. But everything else was clean.

May trip, arrived late — — 11pm — — on a Friday, checked out Sunday morning. My group was not demanding — — didn't care too much about noise, but the rooms in our area were quiet anyway. Staff at all times was very nice and friendly. The room was clean with plenty of linens. Cont. Breakfast was basic, and nice — — waffles, donuts, cereal, coffee and juice. Eating area was clean, food was fresh, waffle-maker was very clean and worked great. Coffee was always hot and good. Didn't swim, but the pool looked well tended to, with plenty of towels. Elevator was working fine, and all the doors and card readers worked fine as well. They also had the best price in the area for this particular weekend, so barring any drastic pricing changes, this will be my first option next time I plan a trip into Quincy. ONLY disappointments — — no VCRs or DVD players for guest use — — at this point, I'd expect rooms to have a DVD player as a standard feature. And an ice maker on each floor would have been nice, but not a huge issue.

A group of us stayed at this Comfort Inn for a conference in the Quincy IL area. I walked into my room and there was hair in the sink and tub. When we checked the beds, they were also dirty. Three of the ten rooms were that way. When we complained the evening staff was excellent doing her best to clean everything up. I called the manager on Monday to discuss the situation. I was expecting a credit for some if not all of the dirty rooms and we got nothing. I would stay far, far away from this place. Nasty.
