Honestly, incredibly overpriced for what you get. The rooms are dated, require maintenance, and you can hear absolutely every tiny noise in the hallway. For some reason they insist on entering rooms at least once every 24 hours, and housekeeping knocks regardless of whether the do not disturb sign is on, even with alerting the front desk that you do not want to be disturbed. They messed up our booking and made no attempt to remedy it. And, the internet goes out all the time. I've stayed at many Holiday Inns, and this one is simply not up to par. Will not be staying at Holiday Inns anymore for work if I can help it.

Clean and comfortable. I was able to check in. Staff was nice. I thought the king room was very spacious. Very good pillows. Super quiet. I totally enjoyed my 2 nights here.

Staff greeted us in a friendly manner when we arrived. The indoor pool and hot tub helped us relax after a long drive. The breakfast selection gave us several options to choose from. Close to the interstates, gas stations, and restaurants. Overall decent stay.

This is a good location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good for being free. The cookies set out every evening were very good! There is a great Italian restaurant (Guzzardos Italian) near by, I suggest you eat there while in the area. It’s in my reviews as well. My whole experience here was very good. I would stay again if I’m ever back this way.

From a truckers point of view. What an amazing hotel. Truck parking across the street less than an eighth of a mile walk. They offer a great breakfast, hot and cold cereal and so much else. A big work out room and laundry facilities on site. Oatmeal and coffee any time of the day. Lots of restaurants with in a few blocks. The staff here are awesome. You guys rock! Keep up the great job!

I stayed at multiple hotels on a trip south and this was the only chain but it was my favorite. They do basic things the other hotels clearly didn’t think of to make stays more comfortable. The pool/hot tub area is really enjoyable, the breakfast is great (wow, those cinnamon rolls! ) The breakfast attendant was so friendly to us and the whole team encouraged us to take extra fruit and yogurt so our kids could have healthy snacks for the road. The beds are super clean and comfortable, pillows too. And unlike some other hotels the water doesn’t scorch you when you turn it to hot — this was an all too common problem on our trip but not here. Tons of good food and a really nice Walmart close by! Rate was fantastic. Will be glad to stay again if I pass through.

Pool open very late, comfy rooms, breakfast was so much better here than other places. Small eating area but feels homey.

The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is clean and the atmosphere is great.

I would like to thank all of the staff at the Holiday Inn Express in Lincoln, IL. Do to a small fire in one of the rooms at my brothers complex here in town, some of the residents had to be relocated for temporary housing. The staff at the hotel have been not only very professional but also sympathetic to the plight of the guest being displaced from their homes and pets in the middle of the night. They have gone above and beyond to make my brothers stay comfortable. On all three shifts the staff has been most helpful and I thank each and every one.

Great staff. My grandparents had a problem in thier apartment building and Taylor the front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. In finding them a ground level room. Great place to stay very clean and comfortable beds.

The ONLY way it could have been better, is, if was free! People were very polite, and very helpful.

Offers continental breakfast and the room was very clean and spacious. When I contacted the staff to assist me with something, she came up to my room immediately. I did not care for the layout of the bathroom. It was very small and one has to come out the bathroom to wash hands in a separate area from where the toilet is located. The wallpaper was peeling off. I didn't lose any sleep, but thought it looked kind of tacky. I did not encounter the cleaning staff since I only stayed one night and left early the following day. The desk staff was friendly. It was a good experience overall.

This hotel isn't special in itself but the people who work there make it special. They are so kind and attentive, it was such a joy to stay there. The rooms were clean and we had everything we needed.

The person that checked me in was very nice and helpful and super friendly. The lady that sets up the breakfast was extremely rude to me.

The hotel in Lincoln, ILL was pretty average. Accommodations were acceptable. Cable and Wifi available as well as breakfast. Staff was courteous when we interacted. The air-conditioning in both of our adjacent rooms (Rm318) seamed to have cold air but no blower. Would use again.

Nice area. I really like the Lincoln area. It's peaceful and quiet. The staff is pleasant. Clean comfortable rooms. Small bathroom but great place over all.

I like it it's always nice and clean. Only thing I wish is they fix vending machine on second floor. You have to use your card bc it won't take cash. Otherwise great place. Definitely would recommend to others.

Stayed at this holiday inn express Saturday 7/15/17. Because this hotel was rated over 4 stars. Then the place has no Wi-Fi at all, which I need for my work. Front desk says they cannot do Monday and I cannot get a refund. If you rely on Wi-Fi do not come here. Try your luck somewhere better. Makes me not want to stay at holiday inn express ever again and they cannot give me a refund.

Decent place to stay for a night. Rooms were nice and spacious and beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean and worked great for a night passing through. The breakfast was good as well. They had omelets, pancakes, and your typical dry breakfast fare.

Best way to spend a very relaxing 4+ hours! Absolutely awesome afternoon! Loved it and I know what I'm asking for My next birthday!

This Holiday Inn was very convient just off the interstate. Easy on and easy off. Several gas stations and restaurants nearby so don't have to travel far to get a snack or a bite to eat. The room was spacious, very clean with comfortable beds. They do have truck parking on one of the side streets but the hotel parking lot is a little small so if you have a trailer I'd recommend parking on the street.

The staff at this hotel is the best. They make fresh, hot cookies at 5 every evening. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are tiny! It's almost impossible to get dressed when you get out of the shower. The breakfast staff was really great. She kept everything refilled on a very busy morning and was pleasant to everyone.

Not only do they have clean rooms, great customer service, but thoughtful customer service and knowing what I really need counts! They let all their staff know that I am a night shift worker and needs rest during the day. They made every effort not to bother me during my sleep. They went above and beyond and I can't thank them enough for their hospitality.

Originally reserved a room with two queen beds and if possible on first floor. When I checked in I was told that I had requested a king suite. When I got to the room it was one queen bed. Also it was on the third floor right across from the elevator and adjacent to the noisy ice machine. When I went down to the front desk to complain I was told that they were full and that was the only room that they had. I then watched three other people check in which means that could have put me in another room since I got there first. One of us had to end up sleeping in the chair. The in room refrigerator was so loud every time it ran it sounded like a buzzer alarm clock going off waking us up. At 6:00 am we were awakened by people filling up their ice chests from the ice machine. At 7:00 am the maintenance staff were banging on our door because they had a water leak downstairs and they wanted to know if we were running water. This is without a doubt the most horrible hotel experience that I have ever had. Management doesn't care. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Nice service, decent variety at breakfast, price was right. The only "issue" was the pool was pretty cold, but we just used the hot tub.

Located right off the interstate in Lincoln, very convenient for our needs. My grandmother lives up the street and the whole family came to visit. We have a block of 10 rooms, all arrived at different times over 2 days, and everything was set up and ready for us. Breakfast in the morning was always on point and the kids lived the indoor swimming pool.

Shower head was about to fall off, the heating/cooling system did not work well. Very low quality for a Holiday Inn Express.

Very clean, however the room did not have a fridge, and the pool ran out of towels. Staff was amazing though, and otherwise was an great place.

Smells of airfreshener and smoke in the lobby/breakfast area. Rooms are just okay beddings clean but room smells dusty. For 90$ definitely could be a whole lot better.

I thought this was a nice hotel. Re only problem was that our tub didn't drain. We called to tell them and they took $15 off the room. The staff is very nice. The breakfast is free and really good.

1st time staying there. Although the service was good and everyone was friendly, the overall stay wasnt that great. Still using old carpets and u can see dirt build up in the corners and along the creases. My 2 sons slept on the sofabed in our king suite and they woke up the nxt morning with bites all over them. I am assuming from bed bugs or spiders or something. They didnt have them before bed. The pool and hot tub was great but when we called to ask for me pool towels the lady came in talking on her cell phone and was holding the towels between her head and shoulder since she was on the phone. The walls are so thin you can hear everything in both rooms around you and above you as well. The ppl directly above us stomped around in the room all night and kept me awake. I will not be going back there. Was very dissapointed.
