We stayed last night at the Quality Inn in Marion Illinois. The room was exceptionally clean and smelled good. Very comfortable bed and the breakfast was way better than expected. We will definitely stay here again. One of rhe lowest prices we've paid for a hotel! Thank you!

The room was clean and there was a good selection for breakfast. But we asked for a suite with a couch, we had been driving and wanted to relax, they said it had a couch but it had ONE recliner. Also whomever installed the whirlpool tub put too much of a curve in the bottom. It was very difficult to shower because I was sliding. Also there are stress cracks in the bottom, which says it is too curved. The room needs some work. The bathroom ceiling is flaking off, the carpet is worn, the tile needs regrouting, and wall paper is peeling.

We stayed in a suite and it was very odd to have a giant cutout from the bathroom to the room. There was only a curtain for privacy and that was awkward when trying to go to the bathroom. (My husband and I dont no. 2 in front of each other. ) Plus the flies that kept coming in from somewhere. I assume the air conditioner. I killed over 11 one night and woke up to about 11 more the next morning. Also there was a dirty washcloth in the shower when we first arrived. (I'm sitting on the bed taking the picture)

The hallways were under renovation when we arrived, freshly painted but old dingy carpet. Check-in was easy, our room was as expected. Good value for the price. The breakfast was good, though the water is gross. The pool is nice… make sure to use the door around the corner by the front desk. We were trying other doors marked pool but they were locked; front desk didn't know to tell us to use the door by them until our third time asking. Pool steps are very slippery and should have a grit added to them.

Location is great, room was clean. They need some anti slip material in the tub — very slippery! Breakfast was fresh and good. Some construction going on, not a big deal. Property was clean as well.

Clean and Friendly Customer Service made you feel at home. And like you mattered. And this is five more cause they are doing a remodel and from what I saw you would never know it. Another five cause you allow pets and I believe there was not an up charge for that unless your pet did damage. I would venture to say you will not even know ours was there unless you find a part of her chew stick. Thank you for your Hospitality on our way home.

Very reasonable rates. Excellent customer service. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my room wasn't cleaned the 2 days I stayed there.

Sign said under remodel, but did see any signs of remodel. Place definitely needs a remodel. Computer was down and had a line of 12 people trying to check in, about 40 minutes later we got in. Gentlemen who was checking us in was super nice and kept apologizing. I felt bad for him. Will be finding a different place to stay on the way home.

Very friendly and pleasant staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Lots of parking if you have a trailer and need the extra room. Continental breakfast choice in the morning Lot nicer then the last courtyard Marriott I stayed in Salina, Kansas ;) Great value over all.

There was nothing "quality" about staying at this Quality Inn & Suites. They were having a hard time checking in guests in the evening so there was long wait, the hallways weren't clean, walls & carpet appeared very worn, etc. Our room was just ok, beds were very hard and uncomfortable, sheets itchy. We turned on the AC to cool down the hot room as soon as we came but it never did cool, the entire night we were all very hot and stuffy sleeping. Went to the front desk to ask for hot water for tea, he informed me basically the hot water on the coffee machine in the breakfast area didn't work and I would to microwave the tap water. The breakfast area looked unkept and cheap. The only saving grace to this place was it was close to the interstate and right by a Cracker Barrel for a decent breakfast. Dont waste your time, go to another hotel in the area, looked like there was plenty to chose from.

What is a good stay except for the room did not have a microwave and the heat lamp in the bathroom was on when I got there and it took a little bit to get it to turn off playing with the timer.

Comfortable, but needs updating. They were remodeling one wing so I assume eventually all rooms will be done. Fresh baked cookies on arrival along with a snack for the road. Very nice. Breakfast was very good and the attendant was very attentive to the food supplies. We would stay here again.

The people are nice and helpful. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is great.

The first room we were in had a horribly strong cleaner smell. Reported to the front desk and Tony switched our room right away. He upgrated us to a whirlpool room. The room was spacious and clean. The room does need some repairs but nothing you can't live with for 1 night. The breakfast had several choices and was pretty good.

The staff is both helpful and friendly. The prices is great. I will definitely return and recommend!

Good value for your money. It is the high end of budget hotels. Hot shower water, clean comfy big beds, free hot coffee, and a free hot breakfast (with waffle machine! ). The staff is super nice and friendly too; I was there in the morning, and enjoyed overhearing the cleaning staff laughing and talking together as they worked — it gave the place a nice, homey, happy atmosphere. There is a pool too. The one drawback is that it is a "pet friendly" hotel, so while the rooms are very clean, some of the carpets smell very faintly like a pet-owner's house.

It was reasonably priced very comfortable and definitely would go back. The rooms are spacious, they had a pool… which if it wasn't November, we would have gone for a dip. Our room also had a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom… so that was nice.

Larry thanks for making my stay such a comfortable one. Was here for two days and both days was catered to with a warm smile and with the most perfection making me feel so important. Larry was so professional always had a smile on his face and so willing to help with what ever u needed. The rooms were great and clean. Great free breakfast. Quality inn in Marion Illinois.

We were greeted warmly. Our rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable, lights convenient and bathroom newly remodeled. The only issue we had was the breakfast area was too small.

Was a good expierience overall stayed for a night, the cleaning service was very nice and geeted us everytime they saw us. The free breakfast was also nice and had a good view of the pool while you ate. Rooms were simple nothing fancy but the beds were comfortable and room was clean. Would stay there again.

Very clean. Friendly staff. The beds could be better, but I didn't expect much from a $50 hotel (felt a little lumpy and old). Other than that, I've stayed at hotels that were $100+ that weren't as nice as this hotel. I'll definitely be coming back.

Would not recommend this hotel. Nothing in the room appeared clean. Bedspread and fabric chairs wwee stained. One chair had broken back that fell apart when touched. Beds were extremely cheap and could feel the springs. Highly not recommended if you are a non-smoker. Room wreaked of smoke. No elevator in hotel.

You probably will not find an equal or better hotel here for the price. This one was listed on the internet for $50 ($59 with tax). We just needed a quick place to stay for the night. WOW! We expected a hole in the wall. This place is excellent. Strongly suggest. Wi-Fi, pool, Continental breakfast, pleasant service, CLEAN! If you see the price, and think that it can't include the basic amenities, stop by and make sure. The other equal hotels out here are a little less than double to more than double the price. You don't get anything more; you just pay more. If we come back through Marion, IL, we will only be staying here at Quality.

$80 king's suite, sheets smell fresh and clean, med sized breakfast area with good variety of food.

I've stayed here several times in the past 3 years and have always had a great experience. They've always been great about me having pets and I have never had any negative experience here. I was surprised to learn that this is only a 2 star hotel! The entire hotel and surrounding area is clean, the staff is always pleasant, and the breakfast is great! This is a quality hotel at an affordable price.

If I could put zero stars I would. This hotel is very dirty. Walked into our room and it smelled like mold. The beds looked dingy, wallpaper peeling off, chairs falling apart, just dirty all around. Walked in the room and walked straight back out to get a refund, only to find out that they can't refund for 24-48 hours. DO NOT GO THERE! Very unsatisfied!

Great hospitality from the moment you checked in. Choice members got a gift of a few snacks and bottled water. They had a container with lemon water in the foyer. Popped popcorna available in the evening. Beds clean and comfortable. Clean accommodations. Breakfast served eggs, biscuits n gravy and ham all streaming hot. Lots of fresh fruits and sweet rolls. The breakfast nook was a little congested but we got our food.

Great staff the lady doing breakfast was awsome her name was tracey.

Nice place to stay, walls are a bit thin and the curtains don't close fully so light will keep you up at night, it has a pool but no hot tub and it has breakfast.

Fixing up the inn at littlerock Arkansas and doin a good job rates wher great and friendly service as Well.

Pros: The room was relatively cheap and the people who work at the front desk are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was pretty good for a free hotel breakfast. Cons: The room wasn't clean. Both comforters had disgusting stains, like they are never washed. The bathtub had wads of someone else's hair in it. I moved the bed away from the wall to access an outlet only to find half eaten chips, crumbs, and other nastiness that probably hasn't been cleaned in years. This wasn't even the worst part! While sleeping, the bed completely collapsed in the middle of the night.

My car was one of three broken into the night of March 25-26, 2016. According to hotel management and the police, the parking area the hotel staff told me to park in has had recent vehicle break-ins and prowlers. There are no cameras on that side of the building, although the front and other side do have cameras. My side passenger window was smashed in and nearly all of our property stolen from the car. I am now dealing a combined deductible of $1500 for auto and homeowners insurance in order to cover costs of having my car repaired and personal property replaced. The look of fear and confusion on my 12 year old son's face when he realized what had happened will stay with me always. Had my car remained in front of the lobby where I first parked, this would not have happened. Instead, I did as I was asked by hotel staff and moved my car. Although I filled out an incident report at the hotel and have attempted to contact management I have had no response.

Very nice, clean, small, affordable hotel. Suite has a odd bathroom setup. Overall, great experience! Staff very kind, helpful and honest.

I stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites in Marion, IL. The room was clean and the beds are very comfortable. Also, the room was very quiet! In the morning there was free breakfast with the best scrambled eggs I've had! I will definately stay there again!

Expected a nicer hotel from all the good reviews. It is very old and yucky needs to be updated. Paid $62 with taxes. I wish I went somewhere else. No pack and play for my baby.

Comforters looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks… one looked like it had semen stains all over it. My mother came from her room to watch my daughter in the room while my husband and I went for a drink and said a cockroach crawled up on the night stand by the beds. A little dirty wouldn't bother me so much but bugs, that's freaking gross.

Loved it had a great night thanks to the manager there she is great at her job her name was Heather Phillips.

Very nice hotel for a short stay in town. A bit farther from SIU campus (about 20 min drive) but MUCH nicer than the Quality Inn in Carbondale. Clean, friendly, good breakfast. Would stay here again, great price compared to others in the area.
