Contrary to one particular previous remark made, my wife and I absolutely love this place! The owners and their entire family (Jamie and Patricia included) are amazing, wonderful people with a great passion for this place. We have had a wonderful stay and have enjoyed every moment. Disregard the negative review, this place is beautiful and the staff is great. Thank you Riverview Mansion. We will be back again!

We spend a night at the Riverview Mansion on 08/12/2018, heading down the road to Shawnee National Forest. The mansion itself, and all the surroundings are truly amazing. It is old enough to feel the postbellum atmosphere and has all the necessary modern appliances. It reminds me of the Dacota Building in NYC, as it was portrayed in Jack Finney's "Time and again". Some fellow travelers were reporting that there are many imperfections in the interior — come on! For such a building, the imperfections are the intangible part of an image, and I don't mind to pay for it. As for parking, it is on the street. I had no problem to park my full-size car. I especially want to express my gratitude to the management. The owners and their entire family are great, hard-working people. Hope to be your guest again.
