The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but it is nice inside. The rooms were nice and clean. The pool was clean and a pretty good size. I got a good price for the room so over all I would recommend it.

Great location, local town Geneseo is worth a visit even if just passing through. The hotel is spotless and the staff friendly. They live up to small town friendly and farm house clean. Surprised at how quiet the room and hotel were in spite of heavy use and next to highway. Couldn't ask for more from a safe haven for road trips or staying in the area.

Perfect location for family celebrations. Excellent customer service ~ friendly, professional and courteous staff. Very clean rooms and amenities.

Room is a bit pricy for me but the room was clean. And had ample parking around the hotel. Don't understand the big massive rocks right on the corners of the driveway though. Kind of tight when pulling a big camper.

Hotel was nice, comfortable beds, clean room, really good breakfast. The only thing that wasn't great was the pool smells kinda weird and makes your hair stick together so plan to take a shower after you swim. Otherwise it was amazing.

This hotel was very good. The bed was extremely comfortable and the omelet in the morning was super. All the staff were great. We had an extra large room. We would stay here again if we are ever in this area. The town is very small and not very much there. We had pizza for dinner. Very good.

Clean and up to date. In room heater was very loud and the vanity lighting is dreadful. Comfortable bed. The staff was very accommodating when we asked for a second floor room.

We stayed here one night for $155 only to wake up to bed bugs and the hotel managers all ignored us. Threaten to call the police cause we were demanding a refund not even the Lost of products. Also someone was roaming the parking lot, wonder why they didn't contact the police, because turns out it was the manager from another shift they are all crocked. Break inns in a small town it's only the hotel staff please be aware. Note too self: Never go near Geneseo IL Oakwood ace hotel again. Happy robbing while you get a good night sleep.

My friends and I enjoyed our one night stay at this Best Western. Very nice, clean rooms, quiet and nice pool facility with easy check in. Rooms were comfortable and well cared for. Breakfast was available and had the usual coffee, eggs, bacon, pancakes and cereal. Overall, were very please with our stay and and accommodations. We will book here again when we come to visit.

The exterior looks fine but the interior is better than expected. Everything was great.

We have gotten a good room 3/4 times here. The one time the bed was hard as a rock and resulted in back pain the next day. My most recent stay the breakfast was poor.

Great comfortable beds… great omelet station for breakfast and very nice place to stay! Check the town out if have time, you wont be disappointed! Especially the Cellar! So Yummmy! Jim.

Very clean and modern hotel. We love the decor. It is conviently located. We highly recommend sweet peas for dinner and/or drinks. It is located right next door. The hotel even put stepping stones up the small hill to help guests. It was a lovely evening with the kids. They felt like royalty. We will always choose the best western in geneseo. The hot tub room is amazing.

Great place to stay. Rooms are well appointed. Fully modernized and renovated. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast. Even bottle of chllled water at the desk. Very comfortable beds. Crisp sheets. Top Notch operation.

Great stay. Very relaxing with an awesome pool. The staff were very pleasant as well.

We had made reservations for two rooms. One room was okay. The other room smelled horribly of varnish you gagged. The door would not lock on the room either from the inside or the outside. Went to the desk and told the lady, she was nasty, told us to go back and lift the door and slam it. We tried, but it would not work. Went back to the desk again, told her it didn't work, she gave us another key card and told us to try it. We did, and guess what it didn't lock again. She even tried it. She gave us the room next door which only had one bed, where the room we reserved had 2 beds for 4 people. I asked for a partial refund, and she told me absolutely no, that the one bedroom was more expensive than the 2 bedroom even though the 2 bedroom was much bigger. Breakfast was okay. We went after 6:30 and it opened at 6 a. M. The lady was still setting things up, didn't have the omelet station ready, etc. The pool bottom was horrible. It scratched the children's feet up. If I ever go through this town again, I certainly won't be staying here again.

We had an excellent experience for the 2 nights we stayed here. We have stayed here often. The room was quiet, clean, and had updated decor. Bed and room temp were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free full hot/cold breakfast was fine.

This hotel is nice, clean, and a good location. We stay there every time we are in the area. They just got finished putting new tile on the floors. The staff is friendly, Casey and Deb are wonderful hosts. Complimentary breakfast is included with a nice selection of items. Sometimes Casey will be there on a weekend and make custom omelets and they are delicious!

It has a pool and is clean enough so it's ok to stay there if you're looking for a hotel in the area.

The customer service of this Best Western extends even after you have checked out. I left a card addressed to a hospitalized friend in my room; it was NOT stamped. I did not realize I had forgotten it for several days and then I bought another, which I sent. My friend told me this was the second card — — the Best Western staff had found and sent the first card. Amazing! It could have so easily been tossed! If you do stay here, take the time to drive into the town, it is picture perfect.

This has been one of my best hotel experiences (from a Best Western, really? Yes, really. ). The service was wonderful, the rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable, and everyone was very friendly. This Best Western has been neatly kept and if I ever find myself in this area again, I will be more than happy to stay here again.

This hotel was great! The rooms were nice and clean. The ceiling and shower in the bathroom was high, which may not make a difference to some but my husband is very tall so it was awesome. There was a fridge in the room and since we have a young toddler that still requires bottles this was extremely handy. The Wi-Fi was FREE which was awesome since we've had to pay for it everywhere else. The staff was also really nice. It was quiet and easy to get it. If I ever travel this way again will definitely try to stay there again.
