Was pleasantly surprised by how nice, new, clean, and modern my room was for the affordable price. Tina, the night manager was very friendly and helpful. There was excellent water pressure in shower and they are PET FRIENDLY. I love the outdoor separate entrances for each room-this provides convenient access for late night doggy trips outside. A nice selection of breakfast foods were provided. Would definitely stay again on my next trip!

Great family friendly motel. I stayed in room 111 with my 2 daughters and my mom. There was plenty of space for all of us. Room had a decent sized fridge and microwave. There is a large pool, and very friendly staff. I visit here often to visit my grandpa, and have stayed at this hotel every time. They have made some great improvements recently. I Highly recommend staying here.

We chose this hotel because it was half the price of other national chains in the area. This is not as new as the Hampton or Holiday Express but again, half the price. Clean, safe, comfortable, friendly staff and breakfast included, for the price, you will not find better accommodations. In this price range, it is 5 stars. Feel confident in booking this for your family but book through Wyndham directly on the web for the best deal and prepay to save 20 percent.

Customer service was great. I accidentally booked two rooms instead of one and the person working at the desk was able to cancel the second room and not charge me a fee. Room was clean and a good size. The water in the shower only seemed to be scalding hot or warm, no in between. The free breakfast was pretty standard. Can't beat this place for the price though.

Outstanding experience. Man at the front desk was very respectful. We had a truck bed full of camping gear, and he informed us that we should be fine and the he watches the cameras a lot. He was very informative and was able to provide us with an affordable room fast. The room was small but we didn’t need much. Clean bed, clean bathroom. Anyone needing a clean, affordable, quick stop to rest, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. We will return.

Located conveniently right by several restaurants and stores. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only problem was the pillows were too thick, I had to sleep without one because it hurt my neck. I would definitely recommend this place to others. The price was right and it served its purpose well.

My room was prepaid by a family member so I didn't have the credit card with me. The front desk clerk was very helpful and patient in helping us get it straightened out. It was a very nice room. Clean. Air conditioning worked wonderful. Appreciated finding a place to accept our two small dogs. We were traveling back home to Virginia. I have back problems and I soooooo loved the bed! It was a great stay. Thank you!

I'm walking across the US, and have already logged over 1, 800 miles. After walking 23 miles today, I looked forward to a comfortable place to stay. As part of the Wyndham group, the Days Inn reservation process was simple, and when I arrived, the owner, Sam, greeted me with a friendly smile and sincere enthusiasm. When I told him that I needed to do my laundry, he and his wife, Trupti helped me out, which was very helpful. After staying in dozens of motels from LA to Illinois, I'm happy to recommend the Days Inn in Salem!

Stayed there for a long weekend for a special event in Salem. The room was always clean and the towels were fresh daily. I did have a problem with the shower, but the maintenance man came quickly and fixed it in less than 5 minutes. It worked fine after that. Breakfast was O. K. Not a big spread, but enough to give you a few choices. Would stay here again.

If you're looking for an inexpensive motel in a good location, this is the place for you. Nothing fancy, but the room is clean, the staff is friendly, and a simple continental breakfast is included. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

For quite a few years everytime I'm in town I stay here. The gorgeous lake & nature setting is great especially in summer. Staff always polite & helpful. Whenever there has been a problem they are quick to correct & always display great customer service. Also something I look for when staying at a hotel is safety & I have never worried even about the parking lot.

We stayed here on our way to Virginia 2 weeks ago Tina was very helpful. Too funny that we found it on our way back to Oregon. Comfy Beds and Clean. Not bad for 65 bucks. Even though they are renovating it, it's nice.

My mother and I stayed here on a recent trip to Kentucky. The room as clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the continental breakfast the next morning got us off to a good start. It looked as if the room had been recently remodeled. The room heater and A/C unit worked well and was very quiet. The hotel was located well and easy to find. We would likely stay there again if our travels took us in that direction. My only recommendations are that additional safety locks, either a deadbolt or a chain lock, be replaced on the inside of the doors for added security. Also, the exterior door didn't fit well into its frame, and outside light, as well as cold air, was able to enter through the gap, as did the traffic sounds from the nearby highway, although that diminished somewhat during the night. Perhaps a new door sweep for the bottom of the door would help.

Absolutely amazing for the price. Very clean and the desk attendant was very polite. I would stay here again.

When it comes to hotels I’m not a picky woman. I just want the basic things any hotel should provide. A clean room, clean bedding, comfortable mattress, being able to warm up or cool down a room to make the room comfortable, and a shower/toilet that functions properly. I don’t care about how it looks or what amenities it provides. However, as soon as I walked in the room, the stench hit me like a ton of bricks. Smelled like a dead rat rotting somewhere in the room. I figured out the issue. The carpet was soaking wet… like to the point it splashed when we walked. Where it wasn’t wet, it felt “gummy”. I sprayed some essential oils to make the smell a little more tolerable since it was 2:00am and we were exhausted. So we just wore our shoes until we got to bed and headed out. We had called several places and everyone was booked so it was either this or sleep in our car in a rest area. On the plus side, outside of the carpet, it served it’s function and I hope it was a one time issue. Note to management, go through room 118 with a carpet cleaner and a shop vac. Then air it out. Better yet, pull up all the carpet and put down linoleum, vinyl or something. Easier to maintain and clean. More sanitary too. Oh! And at your next staff meeting, teach housekeeping to fold towels… and not wad them into a ball and throw them in the shelf over the toilet.

I was very happy with how clean and nice everything was. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The price was very affordable for me and I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was awesome. Great price, clean rooms, cozy sheets, not drug infested (like a lot of hotels in Salem. ) friendly staff, and just a great place. Definetly stay here if you are in Salem.

We were here on a Monday night it was nice and quite. Beds were comfortable, wish I would have bought my own pillow though with my neck issue. Check in was great I had signed up online and in my email confirmation it stated a smoking room. The front desk person swapped it to a nonsmoking room in a couple of key strokes without batting an eyelash.

Older motel, rooms were renovated but only about half way. Lobby was run down.

The old place won't be around much longer! Kind of sad, end of an era. Good newsis they will be building a brand new one after the weather breaks. They almost always have good food. Breakfast and pancakes are always on the menu. Slams are good, relly decent burgers and good variety of sizzlin plate meals are always a hit! The old place is getting run down. Heat wasn't working at all in the front section, but they have plenty of seating. I have high hopes for the new one!

Very nice place. Very clean and well stocked room. A great staff and real Denny is right there so you can eat any time you want. Although they do have breakfast I still went to Denny's. It was a good idea to stop here. I will see them again!

Very clean, comfortable beds, girl at check in was very nice and helpful, well lit hallways. It was a nice surprise to have a nice updated hotel for an awesome price.

This hotel is a joke. The first thing was checking in. We had to put down our car and liscence plate so we didn't instantly get towed. We walk to our rooms and realized the courtains were decapitated. The card, after 4 tries, works. The rooms weren't cleaned at all, and after a quick inspection there was a dead bug in the shower. I got thrown off instantly and checked for bed bugs. Mattress seemed a bit torn, but that seemed like it. I was watching YouTube and my leg kept on itching. I checked again and my heart sank to see something crawling around. I pulled off my sheets and sure enough, there was a big bed bug sitting before me. The tears were eggs I'm pretty sure, I just don't want to check. Luckily I had another room booked that wasn't as bad so I slept in there. There were dead bugs strewn across the floor and there was another bug flying around before I left. The new room smelled even worse and the sink leaked. The bathroom door gets stuck and it sounds like there is construction work above us every once in a while. The AC is very loud also, which is annoying. I was also getting really bad allergies due to dust, which is never a good sign. It says it has premium TV but it's just really bad cable and the Wi-Fi was awful. 5 minutes to open SoundCloud… 5 minutes! Overall literally the worst hotel I've been to. It's a complete nightmare. I don't expect to get any sleep tonight. Only picked it because I was going to see the eclipse and all the other hotels were booked full.

Great service, in room coffee, microwave, and fridge. Allows smoking (A++++). Pool.

Awesome Motel newly remodeled very friendly staff beds are comfortable and so are the pillows there is a widescreen TV mini fridge and microwave and coffee maker in my room. All in all very nice.

It's a "Days Inn"now! Hotel is being remodeled inside and outside. New beds, carpet, Furniture, remodeled bathroom! Denny's in the same parking lot.

I stayed here 1 night with my husband about 4 months ago. Let me tell you I was embarrassed by the rooms. The carpets were filthy and the bathroom floor was so dirty. No way could or would I walk around with no shoes. And not to mention they charged us $71. I would not recommend to anyone.

Decent price of around 60$ for all rooms. Last time I was there they seemed to be a little outdated on remedies but fortunately were in the middle of a remodel. Hopefully it turns out great.

Very friendly staff lots of channels on the flat screen TV. Did have issues with drain in bathroom but told them about it in the morning and got a refund. Will stay there again.

Great staff, wonderful yard, clean rooms, lovely decorations. The only problems were too minor to count, like the TV remote has dead batteries. Super cheap and super awesome! :3

Quiet for us had what we needed for I stay.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the price was decent. I was very disappointed to find there was no internet, even though the website said there was. My room had no microwave or fridge, which was horrible for me because I was there for 2 weeks. But it's pet friendly and the pet fee was waived since my animals stayed in crates, so I guess I can't complain too much.

Not the greatest hotel, the shower doesn't drain when you shower. There's a bar inside the hotel and there's a lot of loud people walking around all night. There are old box tv's in the rooms with poor sound quality.

This place sucks I seen better hotel's in the chicago slums has 8 channels on TV and they gave us the wrong room twice ill never come here again.

I was injured in Salem, WITH a dog. I called my husband at home, asking him to look online for a pet-friendly place for me to lay up in. Instead of taking advantage of my need, I was given a lower price at the desk than my husband found for me by looking online. My mother used to own and run a motel, so I know what to look for, and the place was CLEAN! Bed was very comfortable, and the people kind. I would stay there again, and recommend it whole-heartedly.

$57 a night? For what? The Super 8 right next door is $50 a night, includes free wireless internet access and gives you a rate of about $380 for a weeks stay Plus they're a Sure, there's a Denny's right on premise of the salem inn, but the Super 8 is only a minute away from both the Dennys and Appleby's. Same distance from wal-mart and interstate. Super 8 gives you a free breakfast buffet from 6 — 10 am free for everyone.
