I've stayed here here 2x, 1st time the staff was friendly rooms were clean. The next time I stayed there was 2 years later & the rooms had gone downhill. The carpet was stained & dirty & has a musty, kind of mildew smell to it. There were cobwebs in the corners of the room, the bathroom had empty shampoo & body wash dispensers. There was an old half eaten piece candy under the bed & an earring someone had lost. The sheets were dingy, rather grayish in color from being bleached to much. The bed cover was faded & worn. The area around the toilet had dirt & lint & the inside bowl had a black ring from lack of proper cleaning. We sat food down on the desk & found a couple of little cockroaches crawling on the desk. They charged a pet fee but kept my deposit saying I left my room trashed, even though it was cleaner when I left than when I arrived. There was a pool but they kept it covered & closed. It's obvious the owners no longer care about the upkeep of their property & are now only in it for the money.

I am formally complaining regarding our hotel
stay. When we arrived in our room the carpet was wet and smelled like mildew. There were holes in the comforters. We checked out at 5:45 am and I was charged 25 dollars for a pillow and 6 dollars for a washcloth that we did not take. I would not take a 3 dollar Walmart pillow! When I just stayed 4 days in a luxury hotel. I’m not sure if the staff know how to count to 4 because there was not anything missing in the room. I believe my room was mixed up with someone else’s room. The area was unsafe and we could smell marijuana and that why we left so early! I will never ever stay at your trashy motels in the future if this is the dishonest way you take
Money from guests.

Decent room nearby restaurants easily accessible from highway. Room has fridge and microwave. 20% discount at Denny's right next door.

It's been remodeled recently and it looks really nice. Very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly as well.

The place was dirty and there were people smoking pot everywhere. We did not feel safe due to the things hanging around outside of our room. We informed Joe the manager and he said we could call the police, so we did after we secured another room at another hotel. Please do not give these worthless things your money. The manager Joe also said he would refund our money, but didn’t. Don’t get screwed like me! Review score — 10

Our room is tolerable but on the lower end of okay. They have a pool but never uncover it, the air conditioner took a full day to cool the room down and they have 1 ice machine that barely produce ice. We won't stay here again.

This was our almost 5th stay at this hotel. But I wont be staying here anymore. Front Desk Clerk Joe was a complete arrogant zero customer skills I mean zero. Pool was closed. He charged me $137.99 for 4 people with an early check their website says $71.99 plus a $20.00 early check in fees. We checked in an hour without using any thing in the room but he refused to refund my money. I dealt with a nice lady at this location before and She was awesome. Wont be staying here from now on.

We enjoyed our stay here. The beds we comfortable and the free breakfast was nice. We would definitely stay here again.

For the price it was not bad. It was clean. The air in my room wasn't cold, at times blowing warm air.

Rooms were ok. Staff was a little odd. The breafast was carb loaded.

I gave it one star because I couldn’t give it negative! Various bodily fluid stains all over the floor and desk! Hair all over the shower! There were still hand and foot prints on the head board from previous guests. Pool was closed and was home to a whole bunch of frogs and snakes and mosquitoes. The mini fridge would also not get cold! Will not be staying again or recommending to anyone unless they want to risk hepatitis… also booked a king bed and was given a double bed. And the blankets had cigarette burn holes all over!

The room itself wasnt the issue with our stay. We checked in late at night and just wanted a place to lay our heads. We were not picky. The beds were comfy, not the cleanest place but it was ok for what we paid. The problem came the next day when we were getting ready to leave for the day. My BF had stepped out and walked to the car, not two minutes after he was gone, the housekeeper walked in on me getting ready for the day! This is completely unacceptable! When we went to tell the front desk, they told my BF there was no man up there! When I went in to inform her there most definitely was a man housekeeper, she said I'll tell my GM, he doesnt understand me. Nothing was done to rectify the situation and the GM never spoke with me or contacted me at all!

The motel is a No-Frills Motel nice TV no coffee in room does have a microwave smells like disinfected when you walk in the room. The police were outside the room the next day with two young men sitting on a curb by my door. Price was reasonable but probably would not stay again.

Lives up to its name, goid value, basic motel.

Very good value. Older building but everything was clean and well taken care of. Room had microwave and small fridge. People are very nice. The lady who cked me in in the evening was very helpful. Will stop here again next time I'm in the area.

Room was well kept. Continent to the tournament I was attending. Prices were very affordable. Would definetly come back.

The hot water was limited and not enough outlets. Everything else was good.

Not a bad place if you need somewhere to sleep for the night or just a get away.

I don't know if I got lucky or what but I was super impressed best $60 room I've ever had. Room was clean room was warm and comfy that was nice. The shower was nice and strong and hot five stars.

2 hours before checking out the cleaning lady came to the room while we went out across the street to the store and she threw away everything we had in the refrigerator: juices, and left overs from the restaurant plus the whole cake we bought. How can this even happen?! I even told the receptionist in the morning that We will check out right before 11am, we came back to the room before 9.30am and it was already all gone. We needed to go to the restaurant before going back home because our food was thrown away! They definitely owe us money! I'm not even going to comment the smell in the room when we checked in and how the bathroom looked…

Excellent! Clint at front desk, great people skills. Contemporay remodeled rooms, CLEAN, the best bed! Great TV line-up, HD, flat screen. Plenty clean towels… Wi-Fi messed up in beginning but was fine. Dont understand all the negativity posts. But to each his own Second stay in a year. Would stay again. Thanks guys.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE NO Wi-Fi The Wi-Fi wasn't working, I had to call the front desk and tell them about the problem. The Guy told me give me 5 mins and I'll call you back and he never called back. Then I call back and ask the same question and he replies with the same answer " I'll call you back in 5 mins " and he never did. no Wi-Fi bad customer service i dont recommend you coming to this place.

Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Only good part is that it's right off the highway and the night staff Clint was a nice man. Bathrooms had staijns on floor, tub, walls. Light fixtures were cracked and broke. We rented a room for two nights because we went to a wedding reception of my wife's best friend in granite city and did Not want to stay there. Came home Saturday at around 9:30pm and there were 30 Ppl outside the rooms next to ours partying with extremely loud music and alcohol. It was still early so no big deal. But still going on at 11pm and we have a 6 year old. Foul language, fighting, using gang slang is not what we were expecting. Called the front desk twice. They said they asked them to take it inside but it fell on deaf ears. We also called the police. We packed up and went to front desk to leave and he said that because it was 11:30, there was NOTHING he could do, but to call his manager nita Monday morning and she might be able to refund room. Called Nita and she said there was NOTHING she could do and sorry but they can't control how guest act. Total BS. never staying or recommending that place ever!

I highly unrecommend coming here. Even for a cheap hotel, this place is not even baseline impressive. There's a fridge, a microwave, and a TV, but the TV doesn't work. There are cigarette holes in the blankets, the fitted sheets didn't fit the bed so that various stains on the mattresses were hard to avoid sleeping on. The toilets are old and don't flush even just toilet paper. The cleaning staff is nice, and it's a place to stay for cheap, but I feel the price is too high for the accommodations. We should not have had to pay a $50 hold for the room, and then pay for the few days up front before we had actually stayed there.

My baby had to have surgery and it was close to hospital and to me it was a nice place except air didn't get real cool otherwise it was nice.

It was fine for the price. Easy to find right off the highway. Nothing fancy but a decent place to lay your head.

This place was decent for a weary cross country traveler. A little pricey, a pinch musty smelling, and a somewhat sad breakfast (no proteins. Only cereal, oatmeal, bagels and waffles) but after being on the road for half a day, I couldn't really complain much. The bed wasn't spectacular but wasn't awful either, there was good water pressure and temperature, the air conditioning took quite a while to cool the room off. Location was quite ideal, being just off of i70 and quite close to the gateway arch (about 15 minutes), so that's a few bonus points. Overall, I might look elsewhere first next time but only because I need some eggs or yogurt and not just carbs and sugar for breakfast. If there's nothing reasonably priced with hit breakfast in the area, I'd consider staying here again.

Well first off: the first room we were given the AC didn't work and took about an hour to get a new room. Second : They charge a pet fee per pet of $10 per night and deposit of $50 (returnable deposit). Third : didn't clean the room, just changed out the towels. Fourth : Sheets wouldn't stay on the bed corners. If it wasn't for the pet fee and deposit I would say the price was ok. We stayed there because it was pet friendly. It did have a nice place in the back to walk dogs. Overall I give it 2.5 rating.

Horrible experience. From a person that travels often cannot believe the state of this hotel. Black mold growing in my shower. I asked to have my air looked at because after being on for well over four and a half hours it still felt better outside and they said the best thing they could do was try and reset it. No hot water when I showered while we only had two towels to begin with. When asking for more towels it was a struggle to get them because he couldn't believe they only put two towels in there. Asked to file a complaint but the night manager could only write things down and couldn't take complaints and said that we'd need to get up at seven and talk with his boss. It was an absolute mess. Do not go if you can avoid.

DON'T STAY HERE! Extremely bad service chair broke in our room offer free breakfast but you cant leave the lobby with it really what makes the difference wasvjust coming back too let my dog out ceiling is falling down in my room and this bed has too be from like 1960 so old and creeky uncomfortable worse place have ever stayed in my life.

Nausty and dirty — 1st room had pee stains on bed then the manager proceeds to tell us they can't take mattress cover off to wash because of bed bugs plus the toilet had dirty toilet paper in it. Got a 2nd room and clearly the pillow cases could not be taken off and washed either. Guess a picture speaks a thousand words… would not recommend to anyone!

My friend had a room on the side of the hotel. The room was very clean and well stocked with linen. I thought it was pretty cool how they had installed pump style soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower. Everything was well lit and in good shape. The room had a TV with guide and a microwave mini fridge and even a hairdryer. Housekeeping came by while I was there and they were very nice. They were in and out very quickly and did a good job. Room rates are very reasonable.

I've been staying here a few times a year for about 5 years now. Pool hasn't been opened four about 4 of those. Rooms are generally clean. Expect in the summer to get a warm to hot room as the air conditioning is turned off in unoccupied rooms. They recently upgraded, remodeled the rooms and the decor is much improved. Just wonder why the installed USB charger ports do not work. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms is spotty and slow. The Denny's next door gives a discount on meals.

Great experience. No problems and very nice people. The room was clean and adequate conveniences available. Would visit again.

Very straight forward. Asked about vacancies, checked in, good tv, slept, checked out. No frills for a cheap price.

It was an ok experience. Price is good, location is good. Room was adequate, nothing fancy about it. Just a normal budget hotel. Could have been a little more clean. Bathtub faucet was loose and hanging off the shower wall, tub wouldn't drain well, and toilet didn't flush all the way most of the time. Empty soap wrapper was sitting on top of a folded towel on the edge of tub so it makes me wonder how effective housekeeping is. Probably wouldn't stay again, would probably pay the extra money for better rooms. You get what you pay for.

Me and some friends came from 6 hours away for a concert and we had a reservation at the hotel. The electricity went out right as we got there and it started storming out. The extremely rude man working there wouldn't let is have the room because we were 20 and didn't know the age was 21 so when we tried to ask the man if he knew of anywhere that we could go to ride out the storm he decided to get an attitude and start yelling at us and telling us to get out of the lobby. All be it, in a strange town, 6 hours from home, on a stormy night. We tried getting him to allow us to speak to the manager and see if there was anything we could do and he would refuse to give us the number to call his manager. Very very vile man. I will never refer anyone to go to this place.

Rooms are nice and, coming from somewhere with no hotels with all outside facing rooms, it was a nice change of pace for my robotics event.

Good experience. Helpful staff and for 60 bucks, on a Friday night, 10 minutes from st. Louis. You most likely won't find a better deal.

Clean good for overnight stay.

We had asked for two queen beds and we're given full sized. One of our beds had duct tape covering a hole in the mattress.

The room was Ok. Everything was small. The towels were dingy and the bathroom smelled of smoke even though it was a no smoking room. I was put off by the price policy that they charge per person. The base rate being $59.99 and they are $10 per person.

Ha Ha stayed here before I read reviews. Glad I did because it was a good room for the price. Clean and the staff was helpful. Its a budget hotel after all.

Was not happy with place they have cockroaches and the place does not look anything like the photos.

Fine price and room, with fridge. Dry as any hotel though, and not a great bed.
