I had a last minute change in plans that sent me to chicago for business. Sherry was incredibly friendly and helpful in getting me a room that met my needs. The room was quiet and clean, and the bed was comfortable. I slept better than I have in a long time. Staff on all shifts I dealt with were extremely friendly. I appreciate you all.

Despite being close to a busy road our room was nice and quiet. We were impressed by how comfortable the bed was and we slept well for the 4 nights we were there. We found both our room and the hotel overall to be clean and inviting. JOE at the front desk was friendly and the way of welcoming guest and making paper works for check in very fast no delay at all and he was very friendly. The neighbors very good that's the best that we ever had in our all motel stays.

Let Me Tell You Guys About This Place. They Treat You Good Like Another Type Of Good! Even Better Then Your Mom Of Course If Your Mom Doesn’t Like You. They Are Very Respectful. The Room Was Clean! Most Of The People That Go Their Say The Beds Are Hard And Its An Awesome Hotel But This Hotel Is Amazing I Recommend It Even It’s For many Night!

This place is way better than it seems at first glance. Because it's a motel, the surrounding area does not affect the quality inside the rooms. Once we got to our room, it was really nice. Also, the staff that work there helped me unquestioningly to return my driver's license to me after I'd left it there and gone to MARYLAND! They mailed it to me no question! Nice place to stay.

Motel6 joliet I-80 IL. Friendly staff at front desk and clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Enough parking. But I would recommend staying here to friends and family. Quick walk to town. Stores, restaurants, public transportation, movies, colleges all close by.

They gave us a discount because we were there for a doctor’s appointment and surgery stay. Very nice man at front desk to help check us in. We had very nice stay at M6 I-80 joliet City. They were very helpful and kind. Also clean room and bathroom.

The room each time we stay here is alway's very clean, well cared for, and the bed is very comfortable. Let's not forget to mention very good pillow's! We have stayed here 6 times over the last 5 yrs. To travel a long distance to see my sister and we look forward to this stop. Priced good. Good motel!

I have stayed in a lot of Motel 6 only because we have pets and many are in, to say the least, in very bad condition, bugs, filthy walls etc and we have had items stolen — we go to Motel 6 Elk Grove, Ill with that pit in our stomachs of what we are going to walk into. To our surprise it smelled great when we walked in, very attentive and friendly staff, well kept parking lot and halls and the room was awesome! Clean! Kevin, the manager, was very helpful and worked very hard to keep the standards for his motel high! We will be back for sure! How refreshing! Other motel 6 could use some training from Kevin!

Check in was painless. Room was OK. Very dated. Don't remember ever staying in a room with snap-in laminate flooring. Looked like it was mopped with sandpaper. But it was clean. Door knob on bathroom in such bad shape I got locked in bathroom while taking a shower, not because of lock but because knob just wouldn't work.

Front desk staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The concrete walkway outside the rooms was in very poor condition with holes and missing concrete… in one hole bigger than my foot the rebar was exposed. The beds were nice and clean. The bathroom looked dirty on the tub edge and it just didn't look clean… actually I was just never comfortable in the bathroom area. Not as good as other Motel 6 I have stayed in.

Excellent stay. Very friendly staff, excellent service. The food and wine we ordered through room service was excellent. The pool was clean, the bar was nice too. Highly recommended. Will be returning.

We stayed here checked in and checked out at Noon next day. First Check in was quick and the guy at the counter was Awesome. He was like I have the perfect room for you and it totally was. I wish I had caught his name! He was quite fun and energetic. He worked two jobs so he totally got out late check in and exhaustion. All the staff went above and beyond. Housekeeping was amazing. Nothing was missing and It was clean and best part was the friendly and helpful staff. So we lost an hour and didn't get in until 4am. They let us checkout at Noon instead of 11 which was very helpful. I'm thoughly impressed especially for a Motel. Thank you to all of you that made our stay special ;) … We will see you again soon!

What a great hotel. This is a diamond in the rough. I spent long days here, all I did was sleep and shower here. I had 0 problems with front desk or any staff. The house cleaning was helpful and always promptly cleaned my room. If I come back to Chicago I hope to stay here. It's also located in such a convenient location, that was probably the best part to be honest.

The only place for miles that would let me check in before 2PM and not overcharge. Of the 5 or 6 other motels I tried, the guy at the desk here was the first to actually be nice to me. The rooms have all the basics and are nicer on the inside than they look from the window. 66 bucks when everyone else was charging 100+. Great place to crash on short notice.

Very clean. Shower looked a bit worn but good water pressure and hot water. Desk/check in staff very freindly and helpful! Bed was big and comfortable. I would expect to pay much more!

So front desk guy Bobby is awesome! Goes out of his way to ensure my needs n wants are met when it comes to my room… if something isn't right he does what he can to correct it! Efficiently and as fast as he can! The rooms are decent for the price only complaint is the "free Wi-Fi" is slower them molasses IF u can even get on.

This well is not perfect but well the rooms are clean.

Front desk personnel is very nice with great people skills! This motel is quick easy and friendly! The price is fair the rooms are clean. TV has HDMI ports for my games and others. Hot water and heat just like at home but you don’t have to clean. This is an all around great place to stay when you on the road.

The place was fantastic. Staff was great. Only complaint is the pillows were incredibly thin, but that's understandable for the price I paid to stay overnight.

I was terrified at this location. I wasn't given the same price as advertised upon booking and then paying. The room was filthy, the t. V. Didn't work, there was dust so thick and scum in the bathtub. The microwave was filthy as was the table and refrigerator. Their was so much noise pollution and people yelling. I was afraid to leave my room as I'm a single female. The pictures advertised did not match the actual location and not as clean as advertised. I was promised a 50% discount but I was still charged the full price which is still more than the $47 advertisement. I was declined a military discount and treated horribly. I will never understand how they stay in business unless they treat everyone else the same way…?

We were very happy with our room. The bed was nice and firm which is exactly what my back needs. The room was spacious and pretty clean. We appreciated the pet-friendly policy of the hotel as well! The price was very affordable, which was also a wonderful plus. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The only thing negative I have to say is that I was disappointed that when I paid cash, I was not given any change, nor was I offered an explanation as to why I was not receiving any change. The change only amounted to 18 cents, but I've never been in a store, or any other business, where no change was offered and no mention made as to why. My receipt only reflected the total owed for the room, rather than the amount which I actually paid. Other than this, we were very satisfied with our experience and would recommend the motel to others.

O Whom it May Interest and Concern: My husband and I choose to stay at motel 6 when we travel for several important reasons. Motel 6 are reliable for quality at an affordable price. We appreciate an support the "pet" policy even though we do not travel with pets. All of our experiences over the years have been positive until we stayed in Joliet, Illinois November 18th. We entered the room by climbing a filthy staircase. The bathtub was streaked with dirt. Linens on the bed were thin & grey with cigarette holes. We always stay in a nonsmoking room. I pulled back the sheets and there were stained. I peeled back the bottom sheet and the underneath mattress pad had several blood stains on them. After contacting the front desk who said he knew nothing as he had just gone on duty. We were given another room minus the bloodstains and stained sheets. Bathroom was clean. However, sheets were still thin & grey and similar cigarette burns were on the coverlet. When we checked out, I asked if there was a record of our concerns. The reply was "There was a problem about housekeeping. " Perhaps there should be more supervision and quality rating. The Motel 6 in Joliet, Illinois is a disgrace. The towels and linens were very stained and threadbare. The bed was comfortable but it lacked all of the amenities that other hotels offered such has hand soap, shampoo, hair blower and cream rinse. We did have our own supply with us. There was many stains in and around the bathtub. The whole room could have used a makeover. On the positive side the staff were very pleasant.

I rented a non smoking rooms but there was evidence of lots of smoking in the room. The bathtub had cigarette burns on it. All the linen also reeked of smoke. The cleanliness of the exterior of the building was very poor. The Internet was very slow.

The two stars are for a clean room that meets the standards that I expect as a frequent guest of Motel 6. Also, the front desk clerk was very courteous and helpful. The missing three stars that prevent this property from being rated a 5 are due to the exterior grounds of the property. Specifically, the walkways and especially the stairs were very dirty and sticky and in much need of power washing. I travel with my dogs to shows and appreciate the AKC promo so seek Motel 6 in my travels. Unfortunately, this is not a property that I will visit again or would recommend to friends due to the lack of cleanliness of the grounds. We stayed at a Motel 6 located in Lincoln, NE the night prior that I rated 5 stars and that property really is more typical of what I expect from Motel 6 and is a property that I would highly recommend to my traveling dog friends.

My cable was not coming in clear at all (all we watched was static) and I had to call the front desk twice. The first time they never came, I left and cane back and called again and they took over an hour to get there. By this time it was 1 a. M. Then there was no door handle in the inside of the bathroom door so when I shut the door all the way and noticed it I ended up locking myself into the bathroom. I had to bang on the door for my son to let me out. Lastly, when we first arrived there was tirds in the toilet from god knows when. I did complain to the front desk and he looked at me as if I was complaining for no reason. He actually had a grin on his face when I did tell him what happened. I will never spend my money with this establishment again.

Room was clean. 2 adults staying. There was 1 wash rag I towel folded the other thrown on the back of the toilet. Looked like an episode of cops in the parking lot. Homeless people pushing shopping carts. Looked like a hooker and meth dealer in the stairwell. Apparent prostitution going on with girls having a different guy in and out of their rooms every hr.

I reserved 3 rooms for 2 nights at this location 10 months out for our trip to Joliet, Illinois. They first wanted to charge me $113 a night per room, even though when I booked them it was for $60 per night. Thankfully I had a print of the price at which I booked them, so they adjusted that. Then all the rooms had burn marks from what appeared like somebody was making meth in the bath tubs. Plus the edge of the bath tubs had knife cuts that looked like somebody was cutting cocaine on them. The sheets had cigarette burns in them. And one room we killed cockroaches on the bed, in the bathroom, and they were crawling up the wall behind the TV. When I went down to address the problem at the front desk, they couldn't give us another room because they were booked full. All he could do was have the maintenance guy go in and spray the room. They expected somebody to stay in a room that was just sprayed for bugs, REALLY? I was never offered a refund, or anything for the room. To top it off the environment around the motel made me feel like we were stay in a drug selling ring. People walking around the motel at all hours of the night. Sitting outside side there rooms, smoking and drinking at all hours, making noise to keep you up all night. This is just a little, I could go on and on. But won't, as should have gotten my point about this place by now! I will never stay in a Motel 6 ever again, and will not suggest any of my family or friends to stay at one.

Do not stay! We found bugs under the sheets! We refused to stay the night and are now having trouble getting reimbursed. We were only staying for four hours to catch up on sleep so we were willing to ignore the unsafe vibe in the parking lot, but bugs were found after pulling the sheets up. Be safe and avoid this hotel until the problem can be rectified.

We were offered the choice of a smoking or smoke-free room when booking online. We chose smoke-free room as we are a smoke-free family with one child having asthma. The room had such a thick stale smoke smell that it stung the eyes and burned in the throat. There were cigarette burns and numerous other stains in the comforter. The pillows looked badly stained, but on closer inspection it was the fact that they were so thread bare you could see the stains and patterns of the pillows underneath. We stripped the beds and slept in our street cloths on top of the fitted sheets without using the pillows. The refrigerator had no gasket in the door, so was worthless. There were numerous cuts along the bathtub rail and counter as if from razor blades. There were puddles of wax and some harder, previously molten, splatters on the table all of which seem to indicate long history of drug usage in the facility. There were numerous "residents" who had the doors propped open with a view of so much personal items it seemed apparent that they lived there. The walls had been patched and painted with at least three different colors of orange. The door that would otherwise connect the adjoining suite was simply nailed shut! Not at all representative of the pictures online. We had chosen a motel because we needed a basic safe, clean, comfortable place to rest on our long drive and were not in need of the extra amenities of a hotel.

The staff is friendly and the room is decent for the price. However there is still room for improvement. The bathroom needs to be updated. And there should be security in the parking lot. I almost hit a child who just ran in the street. It was after 10pm and it was children running around everywhere unsupervised. Another issue is that there was garbage everywhere. They should add more garbage cans or dump the trash more than once a day.

The worst motel I've ever been to. There are two queen beds and a the microwave oven. The room is so sad is beyond imagination. Bathroom is smelly. Room also smells like marijuana and cigarette. There are cigarette holes on the bedsheet. Parking lots are very cramped. I will personally never come back here again.

DO NOT GO nor STAY here! The rooms smell horrible and mildewed! Roaches were every where! The toilets were not cleaned and the front desk mid-night shift is racist and racially profile to determine who gets one of these awful rooms, even though the staff seem to be of India origin. This was the worst experience I've ever had and I advise everyone to pass by and DO NOT STOP at Motel 6, especially when they tell U they will "leave the light on for U. " this place is the dumps!

Some rooms are better than others. But the staff tries to fix the problems. Overall you get what you pay for. Not the Caesar's palace but you aren't paying Caesar's prices either.

Very nasty place. Like an urban flop house. Management needs to change things, or change the management to people that WILL change things. Want to improve the community? Improve the quality of buisness and surroundings.

The hotel was absolutely perfect! The front office staff were very accommodating, I reached hours before the official check in time and needed to prep for a meeting. They were very understanding. The area is deserted at night, and I wouldn't advise going for a walk after 9 PM. I would gladly stay with them again.

The stay was really nice, everything I could expect from a motel. The room wasn't too big but the bed was real comfortable. I had a great stay.

Nice motel with fast service. I drive all day and finally found a good place to rest. The rooms were new, it seems to be renovated. The staff was quick, on top of that the motel have pretty good stuff in the vending machine. Deserves 5 stars.

I'm a truck driver and stay in my fair share of bad motels across the country but this is in my top 5 worst ever for sure room wasn't cleaned cock roaches were all over in the daylight and as I was lyeing on the bed I watched a huge bed bug run across the sheets we imidiatly demanded a refund and quarantined all our stuff we took in including our own cloths on our backs its nasty beyond gross and olenty of other options around I usually stay at the red roof inn across the street its nice.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE! I can't even begin to describe the hell that I went through. I saw on the website that the place had been recently renovated. By whom? After driving all day, I pull up there and see a dilapidated building with a broken out window being used for a door to the lobby. I get into my room and see the headboard broken off of the bed, stains everywhere, and a non-functioning phone. I tried using the toilet and it wouldn't flush! So instead of calling to the front desk, I had to walk down there, and after demanding a new room, I get told that I could get a second room upstairs for free, because I had a lot of luggage that I couldn't tote upstairs. I get upstairs, and the TV doesn't work, the luggage rack was broken, and the shower had no hot water. I just gave up, fell asleep, and got back on the road. Never mind the fact that it's in a sketchy area with drug dealers hanging around outside all night. I should've just pulled over and slept in my car — that would've been more comfortable than the broken down bed! This place needs torn down!
