This hotel is very run down. My heat wouldn’t turn off in the night, it was 85 degrees in the room, except bathroom was freezing. Mini fridge froze our food. Had salads and fruit. Was disgusting after it thawed. Temp was on low. Definitely not worth the $125 per night.

Always clean room. Very friendly staff.

Real nice hotel in a good location. Beds are comfortable and clean. Internet is running between 50-60 mbps which is awesome. Good water pressure. Honestly only bad thing is breakfast is not good.

Worst hotel ever. Booked at 89.00 a night ended up having to pay 114.00 each night. The smell is horrible I'm a platinum rewards member and I'm complaining to corporate. Outside my room window were used condoms (will post pics in comments) when I complained they sent a I'm sorry email no mention of a refund or free room voucher.

The rooms are nice and clean. Service is great. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi along with the stay. A/C work amazing. Down fall water pressure is low for showering. No mini fridge or microwave in the room and no swimming pool. But besides that staff is great and everyone is super helpful and nice.

It sufficed for an overnight stay. It was convenient to Midway airport. Got in at 1:30 am. Check in was quick and efficient. It looked clean. Bed was comfortable. Did not use tv. Shower was horrible. Lacked pressure and inconsistent spray. Hair dryer was weak. After looking at food on breakfast buffet we decided not to chance it and headed to a local eatery. But I guess that should be expected since it is included in price of your room. I would pay extra to go to a nicer hotel if we were there for more than one night.

I was in a bind because the people I had intended to stay with didn't realize that their place didn't allow overnight visitors. Suddenly, at 2am, I'm hurrying to find a place to stay. I booked bestwestern online and had accidentally booked the wrong day. Even though my room was supposed to be non refundable and non changeable, the desk clerk took stock of my situation and got me set up with a room. The room itself was clean, although the furniture wasn't the greatest. It was definitely good for me in my situation, but it would be a decent place to stay at anytime. Near the airport and not far from restaurants. The clerk that night and the following morning were friendly and helpful and that made all the difference.

Dirty floors, crummy shampoo, no conditioner, handle broken in shower, tepid water. However, employees were very nice.

Do NOT be fooled by the convenience because its next to the Martinique. We booked our hotel because of our wedding being held next door. We booked suite which is desperate need of fixing. The tile was chipped in numerous locations and looked very dirty, the jacuzzi looked dirty enough that nobody wanted to use it, and on top of that while my wife was preparing for the wedding a roach was seen running across the floor. The room's couch folds into a bed but no sheets were included. When we asked for sheets we were given one non fitted sheet. It just looked very run down for a suite. Do not use for a wedding night.

Bathroom door didn't lock, ventilation in bathroom didn't work, elevator was sketchy and barely worked, no closest or refrigerator and to top it off when we came back late our cards didn't work and we were locked out of our room for about an hour before they were fixed. Over priced. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere nicer.

I needed this room for a wedding I was attending at the Martinique. I've had better rooms, what I can't understand you can't even make a local call, I've never heard of such… I will say front desk staff very nice. I didn't like the towels to much chemicals that reeks a strong smell when wet.

This hotel made us think again about the chain of Best Western hotels that in our life we had always chosen to equal condition on other hotels. In Chicago, having to stay 3 nights, we chose this hotel, though far away, just because Best Western.
Ugly Hotel, Dirty: From the window panes you do not see outside; Noisy so much for street noises as for the noises coming from the other rooms. Very poor breakfast.

We stayed one night and I loved the look of the lobby immediately. This hotel is currently being renovated. Our room was clean and everything worked except the fan in the bathroom didn't turn on when it got steamy. I reported this to the front desk. Breakfast was Ok. If you have picky eating kids bring them something because choices are limited. (I don't expect large variety). Overall, we enjoyed our short stay and would return again if we needed another place to stay near midway airport.

This was a real down grade from other best westerns I've stayed at. Although the room was good the service here sucks when asked about coffee for my coffee maker in the room the lady hurried off only to bring Me one pack of coffee with no accessories (sugar, cream, etc) for my 2day stay. Breakfast is almost nonexistent. Waffle maker is out, Eggs are out, And there's not a very good selection for this to be a continental breakfast. I was however able to sleep comfortably so that would be the only plus for me.

Came here due to a bad experience at another hotel and it was a very good choice. POSITIVES — The front desk host Teresa was so professional, and seem very genuine in providing the best service she could so, many thanks to you Teresa. The rooms are clean and smell free. NEGATIVES- Shower water pressure was very weak. Pillows smelled as if it was not re-washed. The free breakfest was poor and the waffle machine didn't beep so waffles got burnt.

I wasn’t expecting much after reading the reviews, but this hotel definitely caught me off guard. The Chicago vibe in the lobby was absolutely stunning and service was great! I would definitely stay here again for the price. Location was perfect, near the city and airport.

Have stayed at this location multiple times. Experience has always been great. Front desk is very helpful and friendly as well.

Me and my crew have stayed here on several occasions for work in the Chicago area. Very satisfied with their remodeling and improvements. They offer a very competitive rate for the area and have plenty of amenities in the surrounding neighborhood. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed in room 210. We got there around 7:30-8p (so relatively late). The appearance of the hotel looked decent, looked as if they were still renovating in the lounge area? I stayed there once before (a while ago) and liked the service. Front desk staff were very friendly when we arrived. Our room was the only issue. When we walked in, the room smelled heavily of urine. As we did further inspection of the room, a couple of things were noted: -The room itself didn’t appear to be clean. -The bathroom was gross; the tub had dirt streaks or something in it and the shower head was nearly coming off the wall, toilet was used & wasn’t flushed. — the bottom mattresses/mattress skirts both had blood stains & other misc. Stains One of my brothers woke us up yelling about a rat that had come under the door around 4am and went back out the same way. We decided not to report anything until the next day because it was so late. The next morning when we were leaving, there was water leaking infront of our door from the cieling & throughout the hallway. When we told the front desk about this at check out, the lady was very surprised & told us they would have accommodated us another room immediately if we’d have told them about it yesterday. She ended up refunding us $30 dollars from our room. I’d like to be able to stay here in the future, but this experience has scared me so I’m not sure.

We are on the 4th floor. There are kids in the hallway being as loud as possible. Someone is throwing a f-ing basketball against the wall. There is NO WAY someone isn’t hearing this and NO ONE is at the front desks. I’ve called 10 damn times. We have a relative in CRITICAL condition at advocate. He’ll be here for months. You still want our business?

Hey Best Western — I’m still waiting on an email reply I sent this location regarding my recent stay. Extremely dissatisfied! There were bed bugs at this location as the following day I discovered several bed bug bites on my body. Would appreciate some type of response and refund for my stay.

Smelly room, cockroaches on bed and furniture, bad internet, no hot water, AC control no signs at all (had to download a pic of that model on internet to figure how it works, never recieve my checkout bill, had to call them 2 times, people drinking beers at 7 am on brakefast room, elevator panel not working for my floor. really a nightmare of place.

Upon entering this property, the property looks very appealing. They have done upgrades in the appearance of the entryway and the employees at the desk are very nice and helpful. The rooms are less than desirable for the business traveler. Everything is either locked down or just doesn't work. Irons are chained to the ironing board making it unusable. Minimal access to electrical outlets. Microwave doesn't work and is missing pieces.

This hotel is undergoing renovations as of 11/29, the night I checked in. It's the small details that's being worked on now. The room (301) was surprisingly quiet considering it was on the street side. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The bed was very stiff for my liking at this hotel. The breakfast was typical fare. I've never had to use a pancake maker before. That was interesting. I would see what this place is like after the renovations are complete.

My expectations were exceeded. I'm a road warrior in hotels 175 nights a year. This hotel is newly remodeled, my mini suite is beautiful. The desk clerk Theresa was outstanding, I needed a menu she couldn't find one, I said I could look it up on line, got to my room was unpacking and there was a knock on the door and it was her hand delivering the menu. Thats customer service at it's best. This hotel is only has a 2 star rating, it should be a 5 star with service like this.

Highly disappointed there was no airport shuttle. Property being renovated. Our room was large enough and clean.

Such a beautiful ceremony! The banquet hall did an amazing job! Staff was on point all night! Bartender was very efficient! Service was excellent every step of the way!

Horrible customer service! We booked and got a hotel room and put our baggage in it and then when we came back there were OTHER PEOPLE IN OUR ROOM WITH ALL OUR STUFF IN IT! And they made us change rooms instead of telling them to get out of the room. Now we have a flight to catch and they won’t recompensate us for their horrible services! The manger is also very rude and will not respond to Expedia or Best Western Corporate.

Yes, the hotel was under renovations but it did affect my stay. The room nice and big, the staff was very nice and helpful.

For the money, I've been very satisfied. The staff is courteous and helpful, and have responded quickly to my needs. I'd rate it higher, but the building is being renovated. The transition has created almost no inconvenience, but it would be dishonest to compare it equally to a building not being renovated. I gave it 4 stars more on principle than dissatisfaction.

We stayed here before flying to San Diego for our honeymoon because it was the most cost effective sleep & fly package I could find… next time I will spring for the more expensive option. We had to be given a different room right away because the key card lock was not working. We found roaches in our bathroom in the middle of the night. Breakfast was of very questionable quality. I'm giving two stars because the staff were really friendly and helped as much as they could, but I'd say just opt for something else.

Hotel just needs new management to get it to a better level. Poorly ran. Ice machine didn't work. Hotel just appeared very dirty and ran down.

It was very nice. Once the renovations are done, it should look very pretty. The bed was very comfy. I would like more water pressure in the shower.

This hotel is not worth the money. The mattress pad was stained and dirty looking and the air conditioner in the room wasn't working. The breakfast room was hot. Felt like I was in Motel 6!

First of all. Hotel is being renovated. Why have guests checking in. The lobby was appalling. The hallways had wet paint signs everywhere… the rooms had masking tape on the doors with the room number written on it. No ice. No valet. The continental breakfast made us all sick… the bedding was tattered. Toiletries in the bathroom were inadequate. The towels were basically hand towels and thin bath towels. When the hear was turned on it caused an odor in the room… the hotel was in complete disrepair… MISREPRESENTATION at its finest. The website stated the fitness room was under construction. No the entire hotel… this location gives best western a bad name!

This has been the worse hotel experience ever! We have been switched out of our room 3 time due to mold, water damage and bad odors in the rooms… when I asked what they could do for us they said they can take 40 off at first they offered 20 off after arguing with the housekeeping manager about not having water damage (mind you the assistant manager already said it was water damage) now we are in our third room and what happens next… there is a roach crawling in the wall! when I try to call the front desk to tell someone no one answered of course. Now I am going to talk to the manager tomorrow morning…

We stayed here with a group for a wedding. Bed bugs were reported to the front desk at once and the person had video and bite marks. We were lied to about being able to speak with a manager. Told him he could check. They told us the manager would be at the facility in an hour, this was at 8am. The manager never arrived and when asked again I was told the manager was on vacation. So we called corporate and filed a complaint and checked out. Heard the front desk worker say how they would "have to deal with that now". Highly disappointed at how the situation was handled. Less than 1 star.

I forgot maybe 25 worth of toiletries I checked today at checkout time 11am it is now exactly 4:54 pm not even fiveoclock and I called back to see if I could pick them up perhaps and they said that im sorry but we must of thrown them out because they are not in the lost n found box I was like wow I cant believe that they jacked me in my eyes never stay there ever again much less any other bestwestern.

Nice room, however the bathroom looked like it was never cleaned. And there is only one ice machine on the first floor. Otherwise good service.

It needs to be renovated very bad when I open the door to my room it smells very musty and still the bathroom sink was practically falling off you should not just run the water and it goes down it went down very slow which left gunk in the sink the staff was very rude and did not accommodate whatsoever they put the coffee machine in the bathroom with the coffee machine is old and outdated why would you have it in the bathroom the vending machines were practically empty like if you have a hotel full of people why when your vending machine to be stoked with snacks the pool will not open I asked why they said because it didn't get any business who doesn't come to a hotel and wants to swim maybe if you update your hotel and make better accommodations maybe you will get more business and have a better attitude towards our guests because we are paying you to stay in your facilities not the other way around and this is my first time in Chicago I wish I would have stayed somewhere else.

We booked 4 rooms for 1 night and were able to leave our vehicles in their parking lot while we were in Cancun for a week. Staff were polite and knowledgeable and called the cab company to get us. Rooms were clean and it was quiet for being so near the airport.

I wish I could give no stars and still leave a review. Horrible place to stay. Dirty, smelly rooms. I would sleep on the street in my car before I stayed here again. You have been warned!

The staff was incredibly rude. The vending machines were completely empty. Couldn't connect to the Internet. The toilet wouldn't flush completely. Overall, the room was just ok. Won't be back.

Disappointing. We've stayed at Best Westerns before so decided to try this one. It was an okay room, the bed was comfortable, and was cleaned every day. However, two main amenities we chose this hotel for, didn't work or were horribly maintained. The pool is "just closed". We don't know why, or for how long, and apparently none of the employees do either. The fitness center has 3 machines, which are rusty and unbalanced, and crammed into an extremely tight and uncomfortably hot area. There's better places, there's worse places.

It was just okay. Stayed for 3 nights total. The staff were friendly enough. However the room had a noticeably unpleasant smell. The first morning there was no place to sit in the breakfast area (and no utensils) so we returne to our room to eat. The maids moved my pamphlets to wipe down the desk, which was nice, but that left the desk sticky. The second day I cleared the pamphlets off the desk but it was never wiped down this time. Also unfortunate, there was a brown/yellowish spot on the face cloth! On the second day they took the towels we had used but hadn't left any fresh ones. We didn't make a big deal out of it and simply took extra from the pool. It wasn't bad, but it certainly was not up to the usual standards for Best Western.

The stay was very nice they were very helpful and I like the fact that they try to remember everyone and what room they are in the pool was nice and I enjoyed the hot tub.

The manger Teresa was the best! The staff in general were so nice, welcoming, and friendly. Our room was really clean and the A/C wasn't a problem at all!

YOU CAN FIND BETTER: Good stuff: The room sizes were decent. Not overly crowed and plenty of outlets to charge electronics. Parking was ample and free. Staff was MOSTLY pleasant and tried to be helpful. Lots of local restaurants to choose from. Also has grocery store and dollarstore in walking proximity in case you want snacks or need some supplies for your visit. Bad stuff: Located on the busiest road in town. Rooms not overly clean. (no bedbugs, but smelled a bit musty) The A/C in our room worked fine but didn't work in our parent's room. Staff was called and said the temp won't go lower than 75 or so. It felt much hotter than that however in the room, even after letting the air run for over an hour. They were also not given two sets of towels and washcloths and had to call service again to provide what should have already been there. We had the full set of towels in our room, but found stains and a ripped washcloth. The pool was ok in size, but only 4 ft deep and the water was cold. The breakfast was ok I guess. Not overly fresh, but not the worst. (Why would they have ho-ho's for breakfast? ) Not all rooms provide a fridge and microwave; only the suite. Would NOT stay here again.

Good coffee, customer service, rooms were very spacious. I also forgot something and they helped me get it in the mail very helpful.

The room I got is spacious and comfortable, although it is disgusting to find mold in a fridge you want to use! The room seemed clean upon arrival. The first night I wrote 'not washed' in the fog on the mirror after taking a shower; three weeks later it still says 'not washed' on the mirror. Towels are only replaced if necessary, I've repeatedly found the wet towels back on the shelf I'd thrown in the ground before breakfast. BREAKFAST! O GOD! TERRIBLE! I've been to REALLY miserable hotels Greece and China but they ALL had better breakfast than this place.

I've been to quite a few hotels and a dozen of Best Western but I know that this is not a hotel I'd like to represent me if I were Best Western. I stayed at the Best Western Midway, 8220 S Cicero Ave in Burbank, IL 12/28-12/29 and it was a horrible representation of Best Western. I called the front desk to have them replace a light bulb, provide air freshener as my non-smoking room smelled like smoke (heavily), and I didn't have an ironing board and iron. Theresa (Manager) came to my room to address the issues. The lamp was found to be broken after she tried a new bulb, she sprayed a few puffs of wick air freshener, and she brought me an iron/ironing board from a nearby room. THEN when I went to take a shower, I found that each of my towels were spotted, hair was on them once I unfolded them, and I called the front desk and then told me to come down to the front for more towels instead of bringing them up. Then my new towels were filthy TOO! So, I had them call the manager the next morning because they said she was off for the day. By this time I found a dirt/grime backed up in my sink and condom wrappers and tampons behind my bed. I have videos and pics! The only resolution was to offer me $20 off and I asked for at least $50 to ease the disappointment and Theresa said that all the problems did not effect the functioning of anything and it could all be remedied. Will never stay here again. I'd rather go to a motel where at least I'd expect subpar conditions.

This weekend wanted to get few young ladies from my church out have a lil splash and laughs. I reserved (2) room 2weeks in advance, got there and rooms STINK! one actually had the huge industrial blower sitting in the middle of the floor, door wide open, carpet smell like urine and was wet! I requested another room, was told none available. We kept it. Went out and bought freshner, came bk rug was still wet! Went to pool which was suppose to be heated. NOT! neither is shower water in room! Took COLD showers! Will NOT return.

This hotel is very close to our home. We take our children there often just to get away and go swimming. The pool is nice and my wife and I love relaxing in the hot tub.

The hotel staff welcomed me with much Hospitality. It was as if I never left home. For the short stay for a stranger in a new city I felt welcomed. I was there for a business trip to conduct an interview. My luggage never arrived due to a mistake at the airport. However, the hotel made me forget any thing negatively due to the positive energy they showed me. I would just like to say thanks for having me at your hotel. Last, the hotel made a great impression for someone who was thinking of relocating for a job.

Can't wait to go back, we go to illinois alot and say at many hotels, but this was the best for the price. Will stay again! close to many places to eat and shop.

Beds were comfortable, staff was pleasant, room was clean, and since we were on the 4th floor, it was quiet. We liked the location, close to our event and to shopping and restaurants.

The satff was friendly. My questions were answered, any help I need was obtained. I would stay there again. The view from my room was also good.
