Clean rooms/hotel. Friendly staff. Good location for our event and proximity to gluten free restaurants.

Omg! we met guest service manager Magdalena Kowel upon checking in I told her it was my daughter's birthday and we would be spending it there at the hotel because she wanted to go swimming and she surprised my daughter with a birthday cake and a card. What a great surprise I definitely recommend the Marriott. We had an awesome time.

I work for an airline and this is the main hotel we use. The staff is always very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms we get all have a living space with a large sofa and they are always super clean. There is practically no noise so it is a good place to catch a nap.

A lot of difference in cleaning everything. Very nice smell in bed. Thank you.

Acceptable but could use a good scrubbing for stains and some bleach spots on furniture. Still clean and staff ready to help. Lots of food but eggs cold even at start of breakfast. Apples and bananas. No melon? Bagels, muffins, toast, waffles. Lots of carbs. Scrambled egg and sausage for protein. Everything except omelettes. Pool is small, warm clean but 9 to 9. Short hours and no hot tub or sauna in sight. 24 hours fitness. Yeah. Convenient location. Outback staff are great. Bartender took our order to expedite so we could get to our room 1030pm.

Super convenient, very clean, spacious room. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Shuttle was right on time with a great driver.

Omg. There were soccer people staying on our floor there was so noisy we couldn't sleep and breakfast was hardly there wish we would have ate out. Had dinner or tried to at the restaurant attached and took two hours for our server to come and tell us that they didn't even put the order in then they gave us free dessert for one person in the ice cream melted.

Great Job And Services With Family's.

Front desk clerk keeps pulling his mask down to talk! Every time he says something he pulls his mask down. Why bother? Just take it off!
Obviously clueless about why there is a mask mandate.
Otherwise very friendly vivacious guy. $17 extra to park for the night and no security guard. Oh, right, I’m in Chicago now! Nice, clean room but too hot in the 6th floor.

Like that it has a kitchen and a desk to work on. A little divider that separate the room and living room. Has the feel like I was home but really small space.

The staff is professional and helpful. The accommodations more than adequate.

Very nice hotel. Very spacious rooms and a great breakfast. It also has an Outback Steakhouse adjoining it. Very close to O’Hare International Airport. I great place to stay, especially if your flight has been canceled due to blizzard conditions and you need a nice place to stay!

The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable as well as clean. It's also in a convenient location with the El close by. I recommend this hotel.

No complaints. Convenient for staying if you're flying out of O'Hare or if you want someplace more affordable but still conveniently accessible to Chicago. They have a complimentary shuttle service that will take you within 2 miles of the hotel which includes the nearest blue line station and they also go to O'Hare airport.

Room was amazing. In addition to the comfy bed, we also had a sitting area with a couch and table along with a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was alright. Could have been better, but not bad. If I ever make it back to Chicago, I'll definitely consider staying here again.

Checked in Yesterday 8/3/2018 the room was gorgeous better than we expected. The pool was warm and inviting. All the staff was wonderful, they were gracious and very helpful. We will be staying here again if we need to have a comfortable place to lay our head.

This hotel is really good — we especially enjoyed it for our family of four. The facility is very nice inside. The rooms are well-appointed and the pool area was well kept. The staff was very good and pleasant, even during the free breakfast rush time when they were getting slammed. The breakfast is a very nice spread and has a good amount of space to accommodate the large guest count. We appreciated the parking underneath the building, not that the area wasn't safe but it just felt a little more secure. The entire facility was clean, which is a big deal for us. The only thing we didn't appreciate, which is to no fault of the hotel really, is that it would be nice to have a way to easily walk around in a the neighborhood for meals, etc. Again, that's just a personal level of convenience we enjoy. Overall — I would definitely recommend this hotel — based on the price, location and amenities you cannot go wrong.

Definitely Not recommend. Front desk is not customer friendly. Very defensive instead of apologetic why they can't provide water on a "suite " room with refrigerator. From 7th floor we have to go down 1st floor to get water, vending machine not working. Will Not stay here again. NOT enough space to park dislike.

Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Chicago and don't want to stay downtown. Its easy to get to from the airport, parking is free, and it's a 10 min walk to the train station (the shuttle will also take you there). For being "suites" the rooms were a bit small. The kitchen area was especially small. However, the rooms were clean and the bed was pretty comfortable.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks during my business trip and I was absolutely satisfied! Fantastic breakfast buffet, not the simple bagels with cream cheese… The Staff was very polite and helpful. Housekeeping is doing phenomenal job as well! I could call it my home away from home.

We arrived on Tuesday 29 May for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. On Monday 4 June we asked for fresh towels and more toilet paper. My husband had left his platinum wedding bank on the desk near his computer. When we came back Monday night the ring was not there, and we hunted everywhere for it. Tuesday morning we asked to staff at the desk to check with housekeeping. They did not bother to get a manager nor did they log the complaint. When we checked out on Wednesday, we where told the housekeeper was not in that day. We where placated with " we know our staff". We even had to do a follow up phone call from the airport on Wednesday after we checked out. We will never stay here again. The rooms do not have a safe so your valuable items are not safe.

Everything about the hotel besides the shuttle option and walkability was awesome. Their shuttle service is so freaking slow. I waited so long at the airport that I ended up taking the blue line to get there. Halfway through walking to the hotel, the sidewalk stopped and was replaced with muddy slippery grass. There is no street crossing to get to the restaurants nearby. Finally, I had to wait about an hour after I checked out for the train station shuttle. Fortunately my plan was flexible otherwise I would have been screwed. Only stay here if you have a means of transportation.

This hotel was ok. The service was good the rooms for what they are, are a little pricey. At one time my wife and I had no parking spot on the property to park in and that was frustrating. They had a good breakfast that's free.

Best choice if going to Chicago downtown, because it’s close to subway (they offer complementary pick up & drop off 24x7) that goes directly from airport to downtown Chicago. Also, you can take advantage of free car parking and breakfast. Rooms are pretty clean, front desk staff is very helpful.

This post is about the breakfast. Oddly enough I stayed here a week ago and it was actually decent. Today it was awful. They took away the nutella packets. When I asked where they were, they said not when it is busy on Saturday and Sundays. Today is Monday. They had out expired milk. The waffle maker was good, but the batter was liquid so it tasted like plastic. They had nasty nasty ham that I took a picture of. No bacon. No potatoes. The juice tasted TERRIBLE! That was not orange juice. Not even close. It tasted like a wine cooler. I ended up just eating cereal, minus expired milk. Awful.

Make sure you are back at your room before 9pm, otherwise you will not have a place to park! Great space for breakfast, but not a great selection. Really lacking fresh fruit options. Nice that they have 4 waffle makers! Thank you for the reply! I should have been more clear in my first review regarding the parking. That included the underground garage spaces! Everything was full!

Was an overnight guest and rooms are all well cleaned and maintained. The complimentary breakfast is good. The place is very near to O'Hare and comfortable enough for metro station. Service is nice and staff is kind.

Very nice Marriott property, located close to O'Hare airport, free airport shuttle, or you can take the blue line and walk about 1/4 mile from the Cumberland stop, a great pizza place across the street, free breakfast in the morning, rooms are clean and comfy, and the staff are friendly! Highly recommend!

Nice place. The breakfast lacked. No meat, only liquid eggs and carbs. No paper bacon, no turkey sausage, no pork sausage, no waffles, no rubber pancakes. Just Scrabble eggs from a bag, baskets from a box (and gravy), cereal. The OJ was good.

Location was close to the blue line making it easy to get to and from downtown. Hotel appliances were a bit outdated in the room. It was clean and the continental breakfast was Above average. The customer service was inconsistent. I had one gentleman that was very helpful. The next day I had a woman that was very rude. She gave me the impression that she was annoyed she had to help me and when I asked her for clarification she got rude. I will never stay at this hotel again due to how I was treated by her.

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Gym limited to a few machines. Kids seemed to enjoy pool. Rooms comfortable and clean.

Location is good for Chicago O'hare airport. Room was spacious and clean. Its a old property, so don't expect latest electronics. The thermostat was from generations ago. Breakfast was nice with usual stuff thats available at all Marriott's properties.

Hotel was very comfortable and clean. There was a nice breakfast selection and staff was very friendly and helpful. It was also great having a free shuttle to the L train so we didn't have to drive. We will stay here again next visit!

Staying here for some business in Chicago. Accommodations are modern, clean, and very affordable. The staff has been helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered has a good number of options available. I would certainly recommend the hotel to others and will be staying here again in the future.

A reasonable hotel with great staff. They have a nice complimentary breakfast. Downstairs in the lobby is an entry point for the neighboring outback steakhouse. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. My only concern came from the noise of the train on a very regular interval. It sounded similar to a plane flying overhead and that was what I thought until I saw the train and heard the noise at the same time. I was on the sixth floor.

The hotel is very close to the airport. The lobby is renovated and looks upscale. Breakfast was good too with decent options. The room itself are spacious, the bed comfy! The staff is outstanding!

Clean facility. Incredible water pressure in bathroom and kitchen. Super hot water. Abundant choices for free breakfast. Coffee sucks too bitter. Courteous service at front desk at all times. Lobby super cold — all of the times, wear heavy sweater for breakfast. Free parking. Plus: outback steakhouse restaurant inside structure. I gave it 4 starts because there were children and every where on my floor and parents had ni control over them. They ran freely on floor and around 1020pm one crashed right into our door. Also, a person was very loud on their phone for over 45 minutes. I felt he should be talking in his room or lobby. We have stayed at this hotel location and we are satisfied for the most part.

The vast parking lot, comfortable bed space. In particular, a rich breakfast, so that out of the business, a short stay, can replenish the physical strength in due course!

Nice hotel. Breakfast was a very nice variety. Room was spacious. Parking seemed far from entrance especially for cold weather.

I was there for a group interview. The hotel was beautiful. We received lunch with pop, or water which was offered; also several herbal teas, coffee. It was a really nice event. There is a restaurant in the lobby area, computers for checking flight status, a shuttle that takes people to the airport. I would stay in this hotel for sure.

Location wasn't too far away from the airport but the area surrounding it doesn't look very nice. Good rates considering how many people you can fit in a room. Close enough to the blue line making it relatively easy to get into town.

Window missing on side of building. Staff said it was from building "shifting". Was quoted and locked in price on reservation number with credit card. Was then charged $15 more rate when checking out. Kevin manager said he couldn't find who I talked to but had exact time I called.

I had an excellent stay at the SpringHill Suites. The room was very nice, the free breakfast was great, and the amenities were outstanding. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating as well.

Decent rooms. Very clean. Very nice and accommodating staff. However, noisy because of proximity to highway and commuter rail. Breakfast is better than most at this price level.

Very nice hotel. Close to airport, freeway and train station. They had hot complementary breakfast. They have good options for breakfast. We stayed for 2 nights and breakfast menu was different both days. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are vising metro Chicago area. They do have complementary shuttle service to O'Hare and nearest blue line station.

Was fairly hesitant about staying here after reading some of the negative reviews. My experince was great from the moment I checked in. The welcome was warm, parking was easy and the room was clean and met my needs for a restful weekend. The price point was on target and only 15 minutes from downtown during off peak hours. Whenever I drive into the city I will definitely stay here first.

Come here every year for a weekend event. It's always been a decent place to stay, but the renovations and upgrades over the last few years have improved the experience. The staff are v friendly and helpful, rooms are v clean. The fold out beds in the suites are now a large l-couch set that's surprisingly comfy for guests/lounging. Mattresses are a bit soft for my taste, but it's not like you can tailor them individually :)

Wonderful hotel. Excellent staff. Delicious breakfast bar. Indoor pool, amazing workout gym. 10 minutes from ORD. 24 hour van service to and from hotel/ airport. Outback steak house is attached to hotel. Newly renovated rooms and lobby. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and a business center with printer. Oh did I mention excellent staff. I highly recommend. 5 minutes to the blue line train which takes you downtown Chicago. Everything you might need. They even have washer and dryer's on the ninth floor for everyone's use.

What an incredibly welcoming place to stay! My wife and I had to vacate our lodging for the night (my parents had a horrible bout of food poisoning, and their home has only one bathroom), so I looked up the Marriott hotels in the area. We're Rewards members and know the Marriott brand very well, but nothing could have prepared us for the incredible experience we had! The lovely young lady who checked us in made a point of having a short conversation to find out what brought us in, how we found the hotel, and the usual announcements. She also made a point of welcoming us to the hotel (as it was our first time in a Springhill Suites), and making sure we knew everything we needed to. Upon checking us in (we arrived quite late in the evening), she took the opportunity to offer us an upgrade to a King bed suite, and even put us on the top floor (so we would have the best view and the least street noise/light pollution). We (mistakenly) slept through breakfast, but really enjoyed the generous NOON checkout time. Thank you all for the wonderful experience. Your attention to detail is very much noted, and we have already recommended you to many people!

Got in very late after some delays at O'Hare buy they were super courteous and had staff on hand at 2am. Rooms are very clean and feel big. Easy to get work done.

I love this hotel. The staff is always very helpful, the rooms are very nice, and well taken care of. In the three years that I have been coming to this hotel, I have never had a bad experience.

Hotel was clean, current with friendly staff. The 24x7 airport shuttle was great since we didn't land until 1:30 a. M. My only complaint was the pull out sofa bed. There were 5 of us in our group so we needed the extra bed but when I sat down on it, I literally fell through. It was the most uncomfortable thing ever!

Solid 4.5. Customer service and food cannot be beat, friendly and very trendy atmosphere. Only criticism is the mediocre, small pool. Only 5 feet deep max. Kind of disappointing but no other complaints!

Pool was down and wasn't told. Came down in my swim trunks like a good and a cleaning lady kinda entered our room while the wife and I were Adam and Eve'ing lol but overall nice staff and accessible to everything.

Location is great. Many dining options available in the area, as well as stores like Walmart and the like. Staff is very helpful and explain everything clearly. Pricing can't be beat, especially on a weekend like Valentine's and they still have vacancy.
