Clean and quite. Nice reception and location is very convenient.

The rooms were beautiful large and fully equipped like being asst home. The bed was so comfotable I didn't want to leave. Nice place to stay.

We spent 2 nights, and were happy with our stay. The hot breakfast was the same both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Turkey sausage patties, pork sausage links, and ok scrambled eggs, plus the waffle-making area. If you plan to fill your cooler with ice, make sure to enable the ice maker in your room's freezer early in your stay. We always love having a nice kitchenette in our hotel room.

Very welcoming (for pets too). My family is staying here due to being temporarily displaced and the staff has been wonderful. Some of the amenities are a hot, full sized breakfast, a small workout center, a computer/work room, a 5' pool, a hot tub with jets and 2 floors have laundry machines. They have social events during the week and there are many things to do in the local area.

Pretty nice residence inn. Basically what you'd expect and it was clean and quiet. The highlights of this one were there staff was exceptionally friendly. Although it looks like it was geared mostly towards business travelers, they were very family friendly. There's an indoor pool, business center and workout room along with a Continental breakfast. The door that leads to the patio outside the pool was broken so we could get out but not back in and had to walk around. Also their brochures were out of date so we went to see an exhibit that left last year. Whoops! All in all a good place to stay with kids.

We had a family crisis and we stayed here for a month while our home was being restored. The entire staff — especially Darlene — treated us phenomenally. They made a very stressful and trying time as pain free as possible. We were always greeted with a hello and a smile and a laugh as our little dog always was doing crazy things. Housekeeping was top rate, as well as the morning breakfast and the happy hour during the week. We are going to look back at this time as quite the experience and, because of the Residence Inn, very fondly. Even our teenagers began to look at this as a second home. And with that, thank you for treating us like we were home. It truly made our hard time easier!

Life-changing traumatic fire left me homeless. However, my stay here has been fantastic. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is served every morning. Dinners are served several evenings per week. Pool, gym facilities, computer access, and laundry room give some sense of normality during my life trauma. Library, mall, fast food, and Wally world nearby. I would recommend this place to everyone! A thousand stars.

Good overall experience. Drove from NY for a dog show in the Chicago area and chose this hotel specific for it being pet — friendly and pool! Check in was seemless and my husband and I were able to stay comfortably for a few nights with our dogs. Complimentary breakfast included in rate. As well as suites come fully furnished complete with dishwasher and kitchen. Unfortunately for me, checked in with friend (so they can take advantage of my memeber rate) and although we all had dogs, he was not charged the fee … and my car was hit in the parking lot during the night and upon requesting assistance with these matters with the front desk, I was told in reply that 1. My friend got lucky to escape that pet fee and 2. We can’t help with the accident sorry. You would think at least they would compensate with the fee… I mean it is my membership!

Nice rooms and amenities. Good breakfast. Room was nice and comfortable. Loved the door between rooms with teens. A few fingerprints on mirrors made me wonder about how thorough cleaning was though. Also coffee items weren't replaced after use, but they were very helpful for anything we asked for. Overall, great place to stay and I'll picky about mattresses and such. Comfortable bed and furniture throughout! About an hour to get to downtown during busy times, but not too bad to save the hefty price of downtown hotels.

I have to say that while it’s a very difficult place to find because it’s tucked away among other business buildings, once you get there the staff, the updated facility are pleasant. Save the fact that it’s Chicago and in March you don’t know what season it is so climatisation is a general problem, their morning breakfast is well done and delicious. It’s appetizing if you know what I mean.

I will never stay here again. I booked a room a MONTH in advance for my daughters sleepover. I got there at 3p. M to check in and was told that I had to wait another hour because the person before us got a late check out so they were still cleaning the room. Okay so we go back in at 4p. M now we can either wait another hour or get a room that looks nothing like the one we booked. We drove 45 minutes to this hotel and I promise you I will never come back!

It was my first time here like a month ago and I just love that hotel! They have a pool they have a gym and u can eve get breakfast in the morning I loved it! And the food was great they have a little bit of everything, if you not and egg person well they have cereal bread ever oatmeal! Definitely recommend.

Hotel is old nothing works toilets broken furniture is old, dirty, and worn. My brother broke out in a rash all over his body from bed. My sister was bitten by somthing don't know if it was a bed bug or spider. However the staff was friendly that is the only reason for 2 stars other than that this hotel could be a lot better with a remodel.

Staff was friendly and inviting. They even had a little "Find the Gingerbread man" game for the kids. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, bed comfortable, and amenities nice. Only complaint I have is unlike many hotels now, they do not have any USB based power ports, but that's a very minor complaint.

EXTREMELY happy with our stay. Had to re-book same day after another hotel was unacceptable. These folks bent over backwards for us. Will definitely stay again!

Budget hotel with standard eminities. I had a front facing room which looks onto the highway, pretty bleak. Fair amount of food options a short drive away including a good mall. Not too chic but not too shabby either.

Nice room for an extended stay. All the amenities and cooking facilities. Watch out if you use Google maps navigation function. It guides you to the wrong place. It did it to all the guests I. Etc there.

Stayed 3 nights, Th-S Positives: Breakfast was good, particularly on Friday (with Andouille sausage and brie). Full size fridge and everything needed to cook is convenient, particularly if staying a week for business. Has the potential to be much better. Negatives: cleanliness in general. The outer door to the pool wouldn't close and we found dead bugs in both the pool and hot tub. Some of the cooking or eating utensils in the room still had food stuck on. The light in the bathroom didn't work and the wallpaper above the shower head was peeling Others at the wedding reported their rooms were in better condition, but at this price range there is no excuse for any room being like this.

I chose the Residence Inn by Marriott in Oakbrook as the hotel I booked for my wedding block last year. Overall scheduling wasn't incredibly hard but I will say they weren't always timely on returning my calls or emails. I worked with Sophia Yu — I'm not sure if she is still around. We were told we needed 10 booked rooms to get our wedding night free. We did not reach that number because a few of our families booked under a "senior citizen" discount and apparently they do not consider that as part of the block (although this was never told to us prior) so my husband and I paid full price for our wedding night room. Now a year later as I see my friends and families get married I hear of all the upgrades and extras (champagne, chocolate, flowers, petals, decorations, notes) they receive on their wedding nights I realize what poor customer service we actually received from a hotel we paid full price and had a block of rooms reserved at. We received zero upgrades to our room, no champagne, no flowers, no petals, no chocolate, no decorations, or not even a simple "congratulations" note anywhere in our room even thought they profited off of our families who did book there per our recommendations.

Set up a wedding block here and all my guests and myself were very comfortable. I can only recommend a small change: allow somehow for early check in to be an option. I was forced to rent an entire extra day prior just to guarantee I could access the room prior to their 3pm check in time.

The room is clean and a good size. Having an essentially full sized kitchen is a great plus for business trips. Some items are missing from some rooms, but if you let the front desk know they are good about tracking one down for you. Provided breakfast is adequate, nothing exciting but it gets the job done and saves time and money. The location is very good, walkable to food options, though the road is busy so it may be wiser to drive.

The room has a kitchen and free beer for happy hour.

Good place to stay with family and kids. Rooms are good enough, nice kitchen amenities. Clean and neat. Friendly front office staff, but some house keeping people are not willing to clean the rooms fully if we stays for long time. They need an option to get reduce their works. Otherwise it's a wonderful place. Walking distance to the oakbrook mall, liked dinner.

I loved the hotel! It was close to shopping and entertainment. Staff was great! Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family!

My boyfriend had a conference there so we stayed the night. The hotel is beautiful and clean from the lobby to the room. Last month when I made the reservations I asked for a late check out 2p which they accommodated me but we were charged 200 instead of 176.50 bill that was slipped under our door. Then our shower wouldn't drain, I appreciate that they sent an employee to check it out but maintenance wasn't called until the next day they showed up about 1130.

Everything was fine. The breakfast was good but the service was in a bad mood.

They treated Me very well and they were very friendly.

Great room with 2 bedrooms, living area, kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast in the morning. Only complaint is that the pillows look super fluffy and firm, but the second you put your head on the pillow, it completely flattens and feels like you're sleeping with nothing.

I am quite a regular guest at this and other hotels for work, which forms the basis for this review. This was a great hotel 2 years ago, now it is fairly average, an example is they don't even cook the oatmeal consistently in the mornings! The rooms do not feel thoroughly cleaned, have various weird odors, and are uncomfortable to walk around in without shoes or slippers. Apart from the manager, one lady at the front desk in the mornings, Casey I believe, and surprisingly the cook, the rest of the staff seems unconcerned and unwelcoming. Definitely not worth $120 — $180, you can get better hotels nearby.

I haven't really viewed all the hotel has to offer however when I walked in the room I was very please with the size and the layout of the room! very reasonable and all was included in the hotel pots, forks, stove, two tvs very comfortable bed guest spare bedding and very spacious. Large pool workout room as well. Home sweet home!

Quiet hotel close to the highway and the center of Oak Brook. Large rooms with a kitchen. A little bit of wear. Friendly staff.

The room was not a room, it was an apartment! Excellently maintained and clean. The kitchen has everything except for an oven, but I wasn't going to bake a cake so that is OK. The kitchen area had a table and chairs, full refrigerator, microwave, range, sink, pots, pans, flatware, toaster, dishes, and even a dishwasher! The sitting area has a sectional couch and business desk. The flat panel TV is set up so it can be watched from the sitting area or turned around so that it is viewed from the sleeping area. The staff was friendly, breakfast good, and the price was very right. We will be staying here whenever we're in Chicagoland.

Horrible service, I came in on 09/28/2015 and am going to check out 09/30/2015. My job is paying for everything, this is a business stay for two night. I came in and leroy is horrible instead of him looking my reservation up correctly he charged my debit card, I should not have gave it to him but he claimed it was for any charges I made personally, so I have him my card, the lady who was working beside him looked inside of a binder and said oh no they are paying for everything!? i'm confused on why leroy did not check before he asked for my credit card, mind you he didn't even say sorry, just said oh it should be back on your card in a few days?! like really horrible service! very unprofessional and my job agreed.

Currently staying here. I booked reservation for the wife's birthday. The room I was given the heat isnt working, and I was also placed by a entrance/exit door and each time someone comes in and out you hear "boom" or "ban g". After settling in and finding out that heat didn't work was told that we could change rooms? Really? Were already unpacked food in fridge and unwinding. That receptionist seem passive regarding the matter to say the least and recommend that we crank up the stove to heat the room. Who want to runs back and fourth to stove to heat the room let alone the dangers. Completely unsatisfied and was informed that the general manager is off until Tuesday, how convenient? Also card was mishandle and hold placed on card which i'm not against but at least make me aware of it. Hotel may carry Marriott's name, but certainly does not live up to standards. So this morning I will be changing rooms, but what a way to try and wind down. Doors going boom, NO HEAT IN ROOM. It is cold in here especially from being near the door and the door opening frequently. Lets get it together please. Cant wait to speak with the general manager upon his return. Spend the extra pennies and stay somewhere nicer.

One of the better Marriott properties I've ever stayed at, the staff is warm and inviting. The location is conveniently located right across the way from food and shopping, the room I stayed in had a seperate bedroom and living room area. My only gripe was the poor internet speeds which seem to vary greatly from Marriott property to Marriott property. I would hands down recommend this location to anyone looking for a clean, safe and modern hotel.

Only complaint — the cookware provided is sub-par. Just cooking some eggs/meat on the stovetop, and the pans are the opposite of non-stick (using oil to cook). Everything else about the room/facilities are great.

Had extended stay due to work. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend for extended stay.

I had a great weekend here. The rooms are so welcoming, and the staff were all great! The housekeeping staff even tucked in my daughter's Elmo doll when cleaning the room. Great Breakfast! Great Value! Highly recommended.
