Even with a change of management, this place has gotten worse than previously. I made a reservation via the web site for 3 days for $174. That in itself is pretty steep considering they were advertising $39 per night on the Web site. Also, what, no senior discount? OK, I'll get it at the desk, but the new manager, Keith Hampton, refused to give me a senior discount. Is that a new Motel 6 policy? I just went to California and back and EVERY place gave me a senior discount. Even with the reservation, they made me sit there and wait for 2 1/2 hours and then tried to make me take a more expensive room for $199. I don't know what their problem is, all the rooms are supposed to be one price. Do their policies differ that much from one motel to another or is it that the management here needs to be properly trained? Several other people came in and were immediately taken care of, got their room and got that $39 per night price that they refused to give me. Perhaps it's a racial thing. Everyone that is there is black and everyone that was taken first was black. If I was black, would I have gotten a senior discount, paid only $40 per night and gone right into a room?   This place has a huge amount of drug dealing and drug addicts and lots of getto people living there. I've also seen bedbugs crawling around the bed after housekeeping left. A couple of times I was there, they had rooms locked off for fumigation because of the bugs. My suggestion would be for you to find a different motel. Although the village of Elk Grove has an ordinance that motels can ONLY allow guests to stay for a maximum of 28 days, another reviewer, Jason Aderholt, was allowed to continue his stay for several months, compliments of the horrible, prejudice manager, Keith Hampton. Another reviewer, David Phipps, states that he also had to check out after 21 days because of the village ordinance. Here's the prejudice and discrimination of the management at this location.
