DO NOT GO HERE! They have bed bugs!

Where to begin… the last time I stayed here is was great! This place is terrible now! Upon check in I was greeted with a hidden 50 dollar fee for paying in cash. Then I get to the room and the AC unit doesn't keep up with the heat and its filthy! The bathroom hadn't cleaned and had grimy residue all over it and the used bar of soap from The last person. Found a cockroach in the sink and mystery stains on the sheets. The worst part is today I asked for my room to be. Leaned and the sheets to be changed and they weren't definitely wouldnt reccomend this place again!

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is due to their friendliness. We reserved a room a head of time and when we arrived they had someone else in the same room have us another one and walked on it was not clean smelled of beer and everything turned on then asked us to torn it all off and do their job. It was not worth the 80 dollars I spent to have a good time with my wife…

A reasonable priced motel with a pool and breakfast. The breakfast selection is somewhat slim. A self service guest laundry is available at a reasonable price, $1.50 wash and $1.00 dry. Two restaurants are available just accross the parking lot.

The beds we're nice, and the room was clean, just wish they also had smoking rooms or at least a bench at the smoking area.

Older but clean. Great location. Pool needs work. The side entrance needs a " smoking area" built away from the door. Construction workers were smoking pot every evening.

Not very clean. Coffee grounds were all over the desk. Air conditioners are so loud that people turn their tvs way up. I know this because the walls are thin and heard tvs on both sides of my room. Water pressure was practically non-existent. Shower was just a trickle.

Great customer service, pool was super clean but cold, quiet halls, good breakfast, very nice stay for 2weeks. Everyone was helpful.

Good hotel. The only real downside was the lack of water pressure. Taking a shower was disappointing due to a lack of pressure. The water was plenty hot just drizzled out instead of spraying out.

Stayed in room 111. I use the sink to wash my hands look like I was in a public gas station restroom (sink look old with cracks). I Went to rest my head got in bed felt like I was at my grandmother's spare room with mattress from 1949. It was a safe place to be and rest my eyes definitely wouldn't be my first choice next time.

Don't stay here… I was charged 3 different times for my hotel stay. The staff couldn't even fix it. The manager is not available. This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. I'm on business and so I split the bill with someone else. She was charged twice. Between the both of us charged 5 times for the hotel. Instead of trying to fix it when I ask they act like I'm bothering them! I will never stay here again! I would give a 0 rating if that was an option!

Very comfortable, with a feeling of home. Somewhat nostalgic. Great location, right near highway, VU and several restaurants. Although, you should head to downtown Valpo for the best food.

This is a nice motel. They have an indoor pool and a nice large dining area with an electric fireplace right off the lobby. The room are modern with flat screen TV sets. There is a Friday's restaurant right next door.

We had many problems I booked 2 room. One of them the handel broke and we had to move rooms the other one had bugs in. The house keeps was very rude and tried to get us in trouble. The pool needs some serious updating. Giving 3 stars but would like to give less. For the lady who checked us in. She was very nice and accommodating. I wish I would have gotten her name to give her proper praise.

Clean hotel room with microwave and fridge. The staff was very friendly when we checked in and answered our questions. Pool is open til 11pm which is great! I wish they had a hot tub though.

Friendly staff, super clean, safe, plenty of parking, close to shopping and restaurants, seemed recently redecorated, no weird smells, indoor pool, great value… booked in advance.

If I could leave less than one star, I would. Our room was absolutely disgusting. I'll start with the least of the issues and work towards what made us actually leave this hotel. The bathroom smelled like a sewer (the front desk said they were having problems with smells coming through). There was something brown splattered across the wall, very visible, even if it was coffee, clean it up! There was product CAKED to the back of the blow dryer so you KNOW they're not cleaning those. We had to look for a plug in because when you turned the light switch off it turned off the TV and wall outlet. So when we moved the night stand to look for plug ins, there was a nasty old apple sauce container growing MOLD behind the night stand! We have pictures to prove it! We got our money back and left. Never. Again.

Staff is very friendly my room was very clean the bathroom was way cleaner than mine at home in the prices are very reasonable the rooms are quiet do not hear Too Much outside noise.

Clean rooms and great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Our second time staying here. Close to everything and their prices are unbeatable.

From the moment my children and I walked through the door, Cindy was extremely courteous and very accommodating. Being that my oldest is going through quite a bit in the loss of her father and is in the Midwest Center, the boys and I make this trip once a month, Cindy had by far been the silver lining of our trip. We typically stay at the Holiday Inn as it is a bit closer to Midwest, but the service and staff and especially Cindy here at the Super 8 has touched me so deeply, this is where we will be staying from now on! Sierra Torgerson.

Water pressure in shower was minimal at best, a/c filter was filthy (as most hotels are) the bed blanket was tattered and worn with holes in it, bed was a bed, hotel is replacing carpet throughout the hotel (signs said) thus the laundry facilities were unavailable for some reason. Room had microfridge & microwave, chair w/ autumn, flat screen TV with cable/ satellite. There is limited off property truck/trailer parking, breakfast was a "quick breakfast" toaster waffles, pre-packaged danishs, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt and some fruit. Staff was efficient and accommodating. Would stay again if in the area again.

The building is in disrepair, and in areas of high traffic the carpets and walls are torn and discolored. Everyone in the family received insect bites while we slept. The only bright spot in our stay was the staff at the hotel — everyone we interacted with was friendly, courteous and went out of their way to be helpful.

Hotel is having carpets replaced (ours wewe brand new! ) Place was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Less than a mile to Valparaiso university and surrounded by every store and resturaunt you could need. Quick access to the highway.

Room was dirty… carpet was gross and would not recommend walking on it without shoes. Wall next to the bed looked like someone had threw up and it had splattered on the wall, same thing behind the nightstand on the opposite side of the bed. Between the bed and headboard was disgusting, looked like it had not been vacuumed or cleaned for months. And around the perimeter of the room where the vacuum did not reach was very dusty. Water pressure in the shower was awful and the water from the sink actually had a smell to it. The pool was cold and the water felt greasy. And the BIGGEST problem of all was our room had already been serviced for the day and we weren't needing anything else… my husband and I was getting dressed to go out and room service used their keycard and let themselves in, no courtesy knock or anything. Besides her walking in on us dressing which embarrassed me and made me extremely mad… what was she even coming back in for after our room was already serviced?!? Told the lady at the desk about it and she acted like it was no big deal. Will never stay here again!

The room was great, staff were helpful — first room didn't have a a refrigerator, they swapped us to another a room no problem! The beds were comfortable, the refrigerator was good and cold as well. We will be using this hotel for our future visits to see family!

Wow … after watching a video of how the desk clerk treated customers I would never give this place my business.

We stayed in the king room… was really nice… and the Person at the Desk was Really amazing Both days I was there. Will be staying in super 8 from now on.

Pool is filthy, garbage in bathroom garbage can when I got to my room. They could use new carpet, it's not 1998. Good customer service, and room was clean otherwise.

Room, pool and lobby were clean. Good customer service but the vending machine was out of order. That's really the only complaint I have.

Simple, so far more than adequate. A small breakfast, biggest disappointment is pool is closed.

I enjoyed my stay and the accommodations were exceptional. Rooms were nice and clean. Parking and access for commercial vehicles was fair. Highly recommended.

Place was okay… not impressed with the carpet, which was old, or the breakfast. Other than the carpet, the place was clean.

The establishment is for the most part well kept and the housekeepers do a fine job.

I woke up outside with my pants missing and $100 bill stuck in my butthole & lipstick allover me… WHAT KINDA PLACE IS DIS?

Wi-Fi so poor only good for email and then I had to wait for it to download; worse than the dialup days. Front desk person lied her teeth out! I requested my room be separated from my two coworkers rooms, she placed me between them. She assured me that they were at the opposite end of the hall. Hair everywhere! YES, even the sheets! Super 8 needs to pull their name from this hotel.

Good price for the area. Location rocks. Fridge and coffee maker. In desperate need of new TV's. Been in three different rooms so far, not one has a clear picture, and there hasn't been one that didn't emit a horrible, maddening high pitched screeching sound. I imagine that there are forms of torture more pleasant than trying to utilize one of these out dated propoganda machines. That's literally my only complaint, everything else is pretty kick ass. Seriously though, I hope the manager reads this and buys a shitload of new TVs for this place.

Over priced, terrible water pressure, broken tiles in bathroom, no mini fridge, pool was too cold to swim in, elevator was broken but the bed were comfortable and the staff was friendly.
