As with all motels, you get what you pay for. The best word to describe this place is dingy. Room was clean enough but it is an uncomfortable stay. Our non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. The TV reception barely works — the picture is so fuzzy it's basically unwatchable. The breakfast options were two kinds of cereal, waffles, or toast/bagels/muffins. Oh, and forget about the Wi-Fi. Signal sucks and my 4G was faster anyway. On the upside, the AC works well. In hindsight, we should have paid a little more for a better hotel. But it is a bed, four walls, and a roof for cheap.

This place I felt was very clean. I rented a 2 person room. I definitely would choose this motel again for my stay in Terre Haute when I come back. I also thought the price wasn't bad for the 2 person room. The air conditioning worked excellent in my room considering it was like 90 degrees outside.

The place was very run down with numerous patches in the walls. Although this was a handicapped room it is doubtful that it could be used as such. Access to the toilet is very narrow. The shower curtain was coming out of the wall brackets. The exterior door appeared to be sprung and would barely shut and needed to be locked to insure it stayed closed.

It was a room. Wifi did not work well. Front desk did not pick up the phone when you called. And breakfast did not include any non diabetic choices (all carbs).

Literally didn’t stay at this trash-house for more than 20 minutes before getting a refund and finding the nearest well reviewed hotel to stay in. After traveling for 10 hours from the south to the Travel Lodge, the place immediately looked sketchy. We all all immediately felt unsafe and walked to our room with a knife and a blunt instrument for protection. The beds were DISGUSTING. Got a refund at 5am and went to a different hotel. Don’t bother with this place.

Management (sam) helped my ex zoltan (z) kover steal everything I owned by hiding it in another room so I couldn't get to it!

First off I was terrified to walk through the parking lot to the room. I held tight to my husband and never walked to the car myself. There was definitely a drug deal going down when we first arrived. Walked into the room and the most awful smell I have ever smelt hit me in the face. It was a strong urine smell mixed with smoke and also some other strong smell I couldn’t identify. The room was 48 degrees when we came in. First I opened the refrigerator to put our drinks in and a PUTRID smell filled the room. I slammed it shut inmediately. I opened it again to see what was causing the smell and it was full of globs of mold. Both comforters of the queen beds had yellow and brown stains on the back of them and one was covered with wholes from cigarette butts. I immididiaty stripped them both off the beds and we only slept with sheets because I thought it was more likely that the sheets had been washed. Went to give my kids a bath and the bath tub was covered with mold and mildew. Honestly I would have left immoderately and paid to stay at a different place but after a lon day of travel and arriving so late I did not have it in me to load the kids up again in the middle of the night and find somewhere else. When I woke up this morning I was immediately mad at myself for staying. I hope we don’t get sick from all the mold. It wreaks in here. I don’t think we will even try to go to breakfast, I’m scared to eat anything that comes out of this place.

Wifi, clean room, outside pool, best rates for terre haute,

My mom runs a holiday inn, as a GM. And has ran/worked at multiple others, and honestly this was the worst place I have ever experienced. Id rather sleep on a park bench in the winter. I wish I did.

Room smelled weird. Shower bad leaked into main room. The staff was nice About it but they wrote my cc info on the back of my file. Very weird bad experience. Spend 5 bucks and stay at the super 8

Very unfriendly front desk. I worked night and booked the extra day, just to get a little rest before driving 100+ miles back home. The front desk called me at 10.50 am to ask if Im leaving now or he should add extra day. Aside the front desk, the building is dirty and have a pervasive odor. Going forward, Holiday Inn will have my money. I don’t pay more as they accommodate early check in and late departure. I pay for 2 days instead of 3; in addition to clean surrounding, and professional staff!

First room we were shown had a really odd smell, so we asked for another. The second one was fine — furnishings were somewhat outdated, but it was generally clean and nice for the price. We decided to change our stay from four to one nights, and the staff were very nice about it. Don't get your hopes up for breakfast — it's literally just bagels, muffins, a waffle machine, refrigerated hard boiled eggs, and milk & coffee.

I have stayed at many hotels, and this is one of the best places I've ever stayed.

Locks don't work properly. Rooms not quite clean (towels had unusual stains on them for example). Bad area. The price was what entices you.

Terrible, don't stay here. Staff was nice but rooms are horrible. Dirty, old and has a terrible smell.

When my sister's and I first walked in the room it wasn't to bad. The shower had cracks in it which wasn't a big deal. What really made us mad/disgusted was when I found a bed bug on the blanket as I pulled it back to lay down. My sister called down and told the staff. He said he could give us another room we told him no we wanted our money back after he tryed to tell her it wasn't a bug just "fuz" she said no it was moving we smooshed it he gave us a full refund.

It was okay. Wasn't the best, wasn't the worst.

There was nothing to like. The parking lot was a clustf***. The manager and I spoke a week before I got here, letting them know my friend would arrive before me and to give her a key. They attempted to hassle her for a credit card for twenty minutes before letting her in. I had asked for some flowers for her to be present in the room, no flowers here. The shower tiles were busted as was the A/C. If I wouldn't have booked through Expedia I'd be asking for a refund.

Just a place for a hooker lol.

I have a special needs child. She has autism and can't go to the breakfast room unless guest want to listen to her scream through breakfast. Not to mention there was snow all over the parking lot in huge mounds with no paths shovel and she has balance issues and can't navigate that. I was told that I can not take food from the breakfast room and if my child is sick, I will just have to go somewhere and buy her breakfast. The breakfast is only open for 3 hours and if you try to bring as much as a bowl of cereal to the room, they will be all over you. There is no discount given for the breakfast that we are not allowed to have. My daughter also has to have a bath tub. The first room we were in had a tub, but management moved us to a room with just a shower, again no discount. When I asked if I could just use a room with a tub just to give her a bath, the answer was no. They were not full they had plenty of open rooms. Some of the steps are just painted concrete with no texture added so when it has snowed they are extremely slick. When I mention to staff that the steps were slick and I had almost fallen twice, they said, "Well be careful". They never salted them. The room has no alarm clock and the dresser and remote was broken and the management would not take care of it. Housekeeping will stick there faces up to your window to look in as they pass by. They also ignore a do to disturb sign.

Cancelled reservation and stayed at, Drury Hotel. Pictures are outdated. Place looks like it should be condemned. Awful.

CHEAP motel. Spotty maid service, and the maid people smell like body odor and "spices". The price is right at least on a weekly basis, and considering you get breakfast (such as it is — we just eat the raisin bran but there are waffles, etc. ) its not bad. The staff is very friendly, laundry works, pool was closed/empty in beginning of May but that shouldnt be big surprise. The room we were in had a private-ish balcony and the entry door was on the inside of the building so it was somewhat quieter than the "outside" rooms. I'd stay there again but expectations are pretty low at such a low weekly rate.
