Statesman Inn Hotel

This is by far the worst place I've ever stayed at… There was a gross blankets that had CIG burns in them. The owner thought we had left my room an opened my door using his key without even knocking. This happened 2x. I paid for a week. On day 6 the owner comes to my room screaming that I give him 50 more dollars or I have to leave. Cops had to b involved… My 10 year old witnessed a man shooting up drugs in his room with the door open. It was awful. They are extemely rude. Wouldnt even give us a roll of toliet paper we were told we had to buy it. No towels either. You have to supply your own everything… It was dirty and gross.

You need a cheap and gross room with lots of drugs around then this is your place… Otherwise stay away!

Statesman Inn is located on North 3rd St. In Terre Haute, IN. I had a great time here. Decent prices, good housekeeping, friendly staff.

I work at Statesman Inn Motel as housekeeper. Its very clean and comfortable. I also live here with my dog. Were very pet friendly!

While they've resolved the roach problem the sheets, mattress and boxspring had blood splatter stains. The sheets also had many burn holes. The tubs have been painted and are peeling.

Not the cleanest place, but ok for the money.

Good, cheap, friendly and simple. You'll appreciate a place like this when your driving around at 3am looking for a place to stay that isn't fully booked. Close to the road so its a bit noisy but earplugs'll solve that.

Value priced, close to campus, but far from most shopping. The demographic may leave something to be desired.

I would Give this place a Negative 5 if I could. The rooms smelled moldy, the sheets were stained and dirty, the matress looked like it had been drugged thru the mud. Really low water Pressure.

Not very clean or maintained. Ceiling panels falling down, mold in the bathroom, broken dresser and bed.

Awesome place to stay. Very friendly people and nice environment for everyone!

My daughter and I was visiting a friend who has been living there for the last two weeks. It needed updating, but it came with a mini-fridge, a microwave and cable TV. Not bad for the price!

Dated rooms, filthy mattress.

This hotel is not a clean place to stay. Holes in the ceiling! Only stepped in the room for a moment and found a cockroach on the wall as well as several baby roaches crawling along the dresser. The room smelt of mixed cleaning chemicals with boric acid lined along the back of the dresser. The tub was chipped and pealed paint, and the shower barely worked. When found the bugs, I went to the counter to ask for a refund so that I may find another hotel that I was comfortable and they refused my refund and was very rude about it. Dont stay here.
