Do not book this hotel. The management here does not care about you. They will not answer the phone so you can change your reservation then they will not only charge you a one night no-show penalty, they will OVERCHARGE you. For me, that was to the tune of $685! Check the number of reviews I have done on Google. Only a couple have been negative. I do not take negative reviews lightly. I booked this hotel for my husband through Expedia and needed to change the dates. In the past (and on their automated system), Expedia tells you to contact the hotel directly for changes rather than cancellations. I called the hotel for three days (before the time expired for free cancellation) and the phone defaulted to an error message. Finally, I called Expedia, who called the hotel and received the same error message. THEY couldn't even get in touch to change it! I did not want to cancel the reservation, just take off Thursday night. The hotel calls me back to tell they will not waive the charge for Thursday night because I was a no show and I cancelled outside the allowed time frame (BECAUSE NO ONE COULD GET THEM ON THE PHONE! ) I had already rebooked for fri-sun. This hotel put a hold on my card for the full thurs-sun amount AND THE fri-sun amount. I spoke with two different managers and a front desk person trying to get this charge taken off. I had already rebooked, why are they charging me full price for the original reservation?

On our way to Chicago it was late so we took a chance and stayed here again and I give it 5 stars everything was great.

The desk lady, was a little rude. But other than that, it was nice.

Rooms are clean, bed is comfy, and the Wi-Fi is free! The only downside is the do not have an elevator. They reserve the first floor for handicap, which is nice, but expect to carry all your stuff up stairs if you are not handicap.

Room was clean. People where very nice.

Great size King room. Spacious. Breakfast was a little less than up to par.

Just stayed here for a week. Maria and Jocelyn were great! We will be back.

Heat was off, room was cold, coffee pot filthy, toilet base cracked, dirty refrigerator. I'd expect this from an old roadside motel, but not from a Days Inn.

The people here were very lazy and rude. Asked for simple things but the people didn't want to be interrupted while watching their show. I was in the lobby on my laptop and the front desk lady decided it was a good idea to vacuum then then (under my feet and everything). Rooms were dirty and the front desk didn't even know how to do a simple day extension on the room I had. For a place that appears to not receive out of town guests, they made a very bad impression on our stay. The entire time I felt as if I was intruding on their property. How dare I buzz the doorbell to get in or ring the bell 15 times to get someone to talk to me at the front desk? I asked for new towels because we ran out on day 2 of our stay. The front desk lady made me walk all the way up to my room and get the towels to walk all the way back down to her so she could prevent me from stealing her previous towels. Why couldn't she walk them up to me instead of making me walk 4 laps of the dirty hotel? By the way, the doors don't lock on the sides of the hotel so make sure you keep your valuables in your car, locked up and keep an eye on it at all times. This place was awful. Everyone was rude and extremely bothered by our presence. Terrible customer service and terrible hotel. The mirror was even bolted to the wall crooked. I'm not talking about slightly tilted… It's about 20° tilted to the left. So much you think maybe it's artwork. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel was the only one close by and rooms were nice and no problems. Good customer service.

Stayed multiple times over the last couple months. Good rates and clean rooms.

The Days Inn in Sullivan, IN was just wonderful. I stayed on the north end of the building on the first floor. The staff was fantastic.

Hallways smelled like moth balls. There was not elevator so I had to walk up two flights of stairs. Rooms were not properly stocked. Air conditioning didn't work very well. Showers weren't cleaned and were moldy. The ceiling was falling down. Almost positive there were bed bugs. Had a problem with the television and nobody answered when we called. Went downstairs to find that the only person working was in the back room watching a video on their phone. Woke up the next morning with a weird rash on my foot and leg. Breakfast was so disgusting that I had to go to the McDonald's across the street to get a better meal. By far the worst hotel I've stayed at and I was glad to get out of there. Camping in the woods would be better. Management needs to be trained or let go. 10/10 would not recommend.

It was adequate. 2 story with no elevators so luggage has to be carried up a lot of stairs. No decaf coffee in breakfast bar. Coffee pot in room not clean. When we got to our room, lightbulb was out. Front desk gave us the lightbulb to change ourselves.

My coworkers and I have to stay at this hotel since we do contract work in Sullivan, and there is no other option. If you have any option at all, do not stay at this DUMP. And I do mean DUMP. I've stayed at cheap hotels/motels, including an Econolodge in downtown Atlanta, and this is by far the worst. Do not try to save money because the hotel rate are the same as if you were staying in Vincennes or Terre Haute. I wish I could rate it 0 stars. Here are just a few of my encounters staying here multiple times over the past few years. First and foremost, bedbugs were recently found. The maid stole a pair of my earplugs. The maid broke a pair of my sunglasses. The maid turned up our AC in the middle of the summer after we had left for the day. There is mildew on several of the shower curtains. An AC unit took over 4 hours to cool a room since they turn off the unit when no guests are staying in the room. A very old piece of pizza crust was found behind the TV so obviously they just give the rooms a once-over. Drywall in almost all the showers is chipping off. All the cereal for breakfast is stale, and I guarantee you they will not put fresh in there until that bin is empty. The coffee is watered down. The towels are paper thin, rough, and non-absorbant. My coworker opened several packets of cream cheese. All were curdled. He threw the whole tray away so no one would get sick. The next day, he opened more, and they were curdled as well.

Stayed there 3 weeks for out-of-town work. The police raided the place the week before we arrived (methamphetamine). There is no elevator so, if you're on the 2nd floor, you're carrying your luggage up stairs. Breakfast sucks — microwave biscuits and gravy. If you're long-term, they don't change the sheets unless you strip the bed. Otherwise they just remake it. Have told my employer to remove this location from the list of motels we use. Never Again.

Haven't stayed in a hotel this clean in many years. Very quiet. Asked for a room facing the back. Nice grassy area to walk my dog. Good breakfast included. Appreciated the coffee in the room. Nice staff. Will stay here again.
