Super 8 Marshall, Illonois. Clean, updated, friendly. Simple breakfast. No pool. Easy on/off Hwy 70.

Decent hotel room. I was put in the handicap accessible room so it was quite large. The halls smell like smoke but my non smoking room was just fine.

The room was nice and clean as well as the staff being helpful and polite even after midnight.

Awoke to a mouse in bathroom. When I informed front desk, the gentlemen (who did not seem to speak very good English) asked me to go back to the room and shut the bathroom door to contain the mouse. No offer of a discount — which I wasnt seeking — or an apology.

Not much of a discount, getting to truck parking is tight. Absolutely no frills. No laundry.

This is a nice clean motel in a quaint little town.

This location had a very nice staff yet a lacking facility. I stayed in a suite with a whirlpool and the room itself was nice and well kept but the water is so soft you can't hardly rinse soap off yourself. The shower never fully engaged leaving water spraying out of the lower faucet. The faucet on the whirlpool was very loose. I would stay at this place for a cheap place to sleep but not to try and enjoy the amenities as they are not impressive.

In the description it listed an indoor and outdoor pool, but when arived we were informed there was no pool at all.

Large room with a comfortable bed, a large fridge, nice tv, and a useful desk. Oh, and a recliner! All and all, a very nice, basic room.

Nice people, standard breakfast, Wi-Fi and cable TV. One train late at night.

This place improved since the last time I was here. Pillows were fluffy and it was updated. Quite too.

Decent rooms, I'm a smoker, so a smoking room is always great! HD television, cold air conditioning, comfy bed & lots of truck parking. Can't really get much better than $60 a night.

I was on my way back home. Wow… What a trip. Thank you Jason for everything. Someday you will understand, you may listen to someone else better than you ever would be quite and listen to me. I really love you. Never forgotten.

My toilet was breaking through the floor. The window wad broke. So someone wanted to come in all that you had to do wad push it from the outside. The decor was like Threes company collided with Partridge family, mixed with leave it to beaver. But the parking for my semi with trailer was beautiful. Plenty of fast food joints and a Walmart within walking distance. And my pizza was Very Good. Better than pizza hut.

Clean rooms, soft beds and pillows, decent location. But above all, it was quiet.

This place is a dump. Illinois law prohibits smoking in motels. People smoking in rooms next door. Manager did not care about my complaints. Rag heads running it. Pos.

Got eaten alive by bedbugs do not stay here! Have pictures and a doctor to prove it! The pictures are definitely the wrong hotel and beds. The room was so tiny and cramped and old.

Room was $61.02 a night ok price for the hotel. Yes its outdated I thought my grandma lived here but this room was very clean. Customer service was good. Very quiet at night Walmart right across the street. When I checked out I was being told I needed to pay two more nights. I just told then print out my stay and do the math, came out that they owed me money. So pay attention to your payments other than that ok hotel.

A nice place to stay for the price.

This place was the pits, not only was the price outrages for a dump (100.00) the room itself was dirty, stinky, and furniture completely outdated. I felt very uncomfortable to be in the room let alone touch anything or go without shoes or sandals in room. I guess I shouldn't expect much from a super 8 motel but hey cleanliness goes a long way in my book, not to mention for 100.00 bucks you kind of expect something decent. I've been cross country and stayed in many hotels/motels with lower rates that blow this place away. This by far is the worst I've encountered on my journey! Ooh and just checked out pics, the other reviews are right, those are definitely not pics of the super 8 rooms in Marshall.

The room was clean but had an awful odor. However, the main reason we stayed is because my daughter wanted to swim and at first glance all was ok. Once in the pool the water was putrid smelling and we got out when I realized that there was a film that was slimy in my hair. Now we all have urinary and female infections from it. I have reported it but I would like to warn anyone who is wanting to stay there. I didn't listen to the one bad review because some ppl are picky but it was a negative lasting experience. DON'T DO IT! Oh and I still can't get the stench out of our hair and swim suits. OH and the pictures are not of that motel.

This isn't a fancy place — but I found it clean, the staff friendly and will stay there again.
