I would describe this hotel as adequate. It was not overly modern it was not especially clean but it was adequate. I need a cheap place to stay and sleep for a few hours. The days inn really fit the bill. I did not use their pool or workout. Their breakfast started after I left in the morning. The room was okay although it's smelled a little bit like mildew. I would stay there by myself but I would not bring my family to enjoy vacation with this hotel.

Wonderful hotel for the area, while it is not brand new it was very well maintained. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Since we travel for work we take cold water with us for throughout the day we have ran into issues with the refrigerator in many hotels. Not here it was bigger than most froze the items we needed and cooled the others. This may not be a factor to others but for us it is very important. Breakfast was good eggs and sausage, pastries the normal for breakfast, however instead of a waffle maker they had a pancake maker. Yep touch a button and two small pancakes cook and come out on your plate. My wife loved it. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean rooms, beds are very comfy, I believe they are temperpedic? Not a bad stay.

Room had a smell like it hadn't been open for a while. Other than that it was a good room.

We checked in today May 22nd 2018. The hotel itself is great but I booked this stay here because of the outdoor pool. Now I’m told after paying that the pool is being worked on. We leave Friday and it’s closed till the weekend! Our reason for picking your hotel was to be able to relax at the pool… now we are stuck here for 3 days with no pool to use! I’m a bit upset… no rating from me because the staff here didn’t seem to care one way or another. Won’t be back. Don’t really want to stay at all but No Refund! Thanks… you shouldn’t get even one star but I can’t post without it… maybe you should put a notice on your website that the pool is closed! Just sayin…

It was exactly what we wanted. Nice clean comfortable room with no hassles.

Have stayed here 3 years now for Jasper Fire School great rooms and friendly service hreta place to stay.

Great people working there. Rooms nice. Beds coulds be softer with better support.

Looks like an older hotel on the outside but the inside has been completely remodeled. Excellent stay every time we visit Holiday World.

Room was clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Price reasonable. I will stay again if I come back to Jasper.

Stayed here for one night on my way down to Kentucky for the solar eclipse. Room was exceptionally clean, included microwave/mini-fridge/small safe/hair dryer. Breakfast was more extensive than I expected. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Not a bad place to stay. Within walking distance of a couple restaurants and a movie theater. Rooms were well kept and staff were courteous and nice.

Hotel and room were very clean. Pretty wooden handrail for the staircase. Free breakfast. Convenient location. Nice employees. Our only negative was that the mattresses weren't very comfortable. Otherwise, it was a good visit.

Looks were deceiving from the outside as it looked a bit dated, but it was a nice hotel. The staff was nice. Check in was quick. It was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool was nice. They also were helpful in getting us adjoining rooms with just a call the night before. Very pleased.

We stayed at the Days Inn Jasper for a night after going to Holiday World. The room was great! Clean and TV ready. There was a fridge and coffee maker in the room. We had dominoes delivered to the room. This was a great stay!

Terrible experience, this isn't even worth one star. Booked hotel room for one night for the price of $138. Upon arriving at hotel at check in the receipt they wanted me to sign stated $271.78. Refused to sign, told from desk gentleman that it was incorrect. He continued to ensure me that I had not been charged that amount. Once we got upstairs into our room I then checked my bank account & sure enough I had been charged the wrong price. Went back down to talk with the same gentleman & he admitted that the money would be refunded back into my account within 24 hours, unfortunately that did not happen. & not only did that happen, but once we got home 2 days later I was charged another $135.91, all for one nights stay they charged me $407.69. Called corporate & was on hold for a long time & the problem still was not fixed. Had to then file forms at the bank to stop payments. Worst hotel I have ever experienced. Refrigerator did not work when we got to the room. Shower pressure was terrible. Bathroom was way to small. Barely any blankets on the bed besides a sheet or two. Rude staff that had no manners. Smelt like mold. Think twice about booking this hotel for a nights stay, not worth your money that they will end up doubling & rip you off.

Room was comfortable, pool was good, breakfast was good, however we were double charged for our room. The gm tried to tell us it was an authorization not a charge even after we explained it was deducted from our acct. We're still trying to get it taken care of but it made our trip uncomfortable.

We were traveling with another family and purchased a suite. We were told that it contained two adjoining rooms each with a bathroom. This was not the case. The receptionist begrudgingly worked with us to remedy the situation and the rooms were ended up with were fine. Pool, breakfast, and fitness room were ok. One needs to make sure he gets to breakfast early because everything is pretty much gone twenty minutes before it ends.

They rooms were neat and clean, breakfast was good, and a nice setup.

The staff is very nice and will try to accommodate you in every way. The rooms are very nice and beds are really comfortable.

The Staff was very friendly, they took the time to make sure I had a great stay and they made sure that I had everything I needed. They were recently remodeled and the hotel is very clean. Over all it was a 5 out of 5.

Nice rooms and clean. But if your looking for a quite place to sleep. This is not it! Fridge and AC very loud. The person next door we could hear caughing and the person upstairs every time they walked or ran water.

A blind person would not stay. This place not up to date.

The lady at the front desk was very nice until we had an issue with our room then she didn't care about great customer service, the hotel was very out dated! We requested a non-smoking room and when we arrived to our room on the left side of the building our room SMELLED terrible like an ash tray! We called down the the front desk to ask if we could have another room because that one was obviously a smoking room (there was not a non-smoking symbol on the door) they informed us that it was a non-smoking room that the smoking room were below us on the first floor! Well WHOS bright idea was it to put the smokers on the first floor! the ventilation sucks! all of my clothes smelled terrible and we left very upset. They would not let us switch to a different room. The cable on the back of the TV was broken, the breakfast was small and not a lot to pick from. I will never stay at this hotel. (motel is more like it) again! I will be sure to tell all my friends and family that travels to Jasper not to stay there either. The only thing we did like was the chinese food next door! They had wonderful food there.

This a great hotel with friendly service and a great location. Rooms are clean and cozy.

Previous reviews were correct — you can hear EVERYTHING. Our queen bed had a sag in the middle and couldn't have been replaced in the last 20 years. The furniture was just as big of a disaster. The room was not cleaned well. Carpets under tables obviously hadn't been vacuumed in some time. The air conditioner and fridge made dreadful noises all night long. Room stunk — figuratively and literally. We left in the middle of the night. Seriously, our room was $115 dollars and it shouldn't have been more than $30. Same priced rooms available at the IMPECCABLE Hampton and Holiday Inn Express, but they were full — for obvious reasons.

The building is a little tricky to find because it sits off the road and up a small hill. The description says it's at the intersection of 2 highways, and it is. However, instead of intersecting like a plus sign (+), these highways intersect more like the letter H, in that they overlap for a few blocks, and other streets intersect in between. It's confusing. When you see the sign, turn so you go up a hill. The building will be on the right. Once you're there, the facility is clean and the people are friendly. The Internet connection was great. Breakfast isn't much — — no waffle machine, no fruit — — but if you like bagels and minimuffins, you're in good shape. An error in my reservation was corrected easily, and my stay was pleasant. I would stay there again.
