I came for a 2 day meeting. We were served breakfast, and the fruit and muffins were so good. They also had pretzels with jalapeño cheese, that was tasty. The employees were all nice and treated everyone well. The hotel was clean, and I'm looking forward to book a room there so I can see how the rooms are.

It's a nice Sheraton. If you usually like to stay at a Sheraton then you will like your stay here. Fitness center is adequate for most people's needs. Employees are very friendly. Although there is no hotel shuttle to and from the airport the city does operate an express shuttle which is a good option for transportation.

Located right in the heart of downtown this hotel is one of the finest in the area. The rooms were clean and spacious. We got the room on the 16th floor so the view was spectacular as well. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels and other amenities. The room had a desk and chair as well as an accent chair with ottoman, a television, a closet, a dresser and iron. The breakfast service was great as well.

AVOID this hotel at all cost. Their customer service is horrible. When my wife originally booked her hotel room with them, they gave her a specific low rate. However, upon her check out the rate they charged her was 5 times more than what they had originally told her. Yes, five times! Bill, the general manager, was VERY rude to my wife and told her that they won’t honor the original rate! We are platinum members of this chain hotel. Bill fed off of my wife’s frustrations and treated her like she was an outcast. We are continuing to fight this battle daily. Bill was horrible and I am SHOCKED that Sheraton would allow such an individual to lead that entire hotel.

Very nice stay. Friendly staff, good location for the business meetings I was there for. Comfortable rooms, a little noise one night but nothing too bad. Restaurant/bar was nice, good food and very upbeat guys working. I'd definitely use this hotel again.

Hotel was decent. They were extremely busy while we were there due to five weddings in the same weekend. They only have four elevators to support 20 floors and at times it took upwards of 15-20 minutes to get between floors. Even though I confirmed multiple times that I needed adjoining rooms they were unable to fulfill the requirements. However they did upgrade to a larger room with a pull out couch which was able to accommodate our needs.

Super friendly staff. Great service. Nice rooms. Good views. Here for a wedding, but I'd come back.

Decor was lovely and service was great. We had a corner room with a good view. Seemed a tad pricey for the size and amenities offered, but it is downtown on a Saturday night. Definitely would recommend this hotel to friends or family.

If it wasn't for the location I would give this hotel two stars. The location was perfect for visiting downtown. As for the hotel, the rooms were small and so were the beds. You couldn't sit comfortably on the toilet, and you had to reach under the counter in order to flush it. The front desk staff were nice enough, but a member of our group had something stolen from their room on our first day and the hotel doesn't even have cameras in the hallways.

Amazing people! Thanks for the great service. I did leave my phone charger in my room left a message with lost and found… hope I get it back. My fault not the hotel! BEEN 3 MONTHS no return call no charger not even a SORRY!

The front desk staff were the best part of this visit. For what we paid for this room, we could have had a much better room and a much better stay somewhere else. The waitress in the restaurant was rude and because we didn't order an alcoholic beverage it was clear that we weren't as important to her as the other guest. There were a million things wrong with this hotel. The elevators are very slow. You better plan on climbing the stairs. The elevators are very slow and the light to catch an elevator basically shuts off as soon as you push the button. So, you have to continue to push it if you want an elevator. The quality you are getting for the price isn't worth it. The view we had wasn't horrible but we did ask for a room facing the monument which we didn't get. The light fixture in the bathroom had a bulb out and a light fixture being held on by double sided tape. The chair in our room was stained and gross. The couch feet were sticking out and you were constantly kicking it every time you walked by it. You have to pull with a lot of force on the knob so you can have a shower that isn't just dripping. The faucet for the bathtub will spin completely around. Overall, if there is a room open somewhere else go, you will have a better experience.

Stayed here two nights for professional event. Only complaint is that the elevators are old. They move to your desired floor very quickly, but you can sometimes experience extra g-force as you come to a stop. As of wiring, they have signs saying they're working on modernizing the elevators. Room was clean. Nice view of the Monument from the conference rooms on the 21st floor. Dinner was good, Starbucks coffee provided for people participating in event. Breakfast was very simple muffins and fruit. The banana bread muffins were very good, though. Good location in the city.

I love downtown Indy. But I’m more thrilled if we get to stay in the Sheraton. Always very clean. Fresh linens, great views, nice cute gym overlooking the city sky line. Have yet to get there when the rooftop pool is open, but I can only imagine how cool that will be. You feel nothing less than royalty when you stay here. We love it! Darby.

Diverted due to a storm, we found ourselves in Indy with a voucher for the Sheraton. What a delightful surprise and a pleasant pause in disrupted travel. Mike at the counter and Nicole, a server, were very helpful in arranging our departure in the am. Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Thanks Sheraton! Dave Beach, from Lowell, MI.

They are trying to upgrade this place, but it has suffered from years of shoddy maintenance and neglect. This 21-story building went up in the late 1960s and is showing all of its age. We were there in the winter and it was so cold in the room there was ice on the inside of the windows. A card in the room instructed guests to leave the blackout curtains closed in the summer all day so that the room wouldn't be so hot. Time to fix the windows was before you had those instructions printed and laminated. The bathroom had been renovated so badly that there was no way for the toilet lid to stay open unless you were sitting down. Folks who stand to pee need to hold the lid open while doing so. There was not enough water pressure in the shower to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. Cheap doors and thin walls make sure you can hear every conversation in the hallway even when people are being considerately quiet. Surfaces in our room were nicely clean, but walking on the carpet made my white socks look like I had been walking through a field of coffee grounds. Closer inspection showed crusty grime in all the traffic areas. The dark grey color of the carpet hid this at first glance. The public spaces had obviously been redecorated recently, but the workmanship was so shoddy that everything looked sad and tired. Nice wallpaper was hung on crooked, lumpy walls. Nice tile was installed on floors that had not been leveled.

The room rates at this property are reasonable, but I found the overnight parking rate $30 per night too high for the location. Indy is a fairly small city and I would expect parking to be $20 or less overnight. The rooms are average. On occasion, I have been upgraded to their suites which are very nice and spacious. The concierge lounge is nice. I like that it is accessible 24 hours and that can grab beverages or light snacks after hours. The front desk staff is friendly and responsive.

Fabulous location, lovely property, extremely friendly staff, and heavenly beds for a perfect night's rest? Absolutely delightful stay! Can't wait to come back!

Friendly and helpful staff. The building is a bit on the older side, however it is well maintained. The in and out privileges with parking is a huge plus if you are going in and out of the hotel as often as I do. Other hotels in the area didn't offer that which was a deciding factor for me. The rooms are standard, I opted for a king bed. The washrooms are due for a reno however. Poorly thought out design as water from the counter always drips on the floor. The toilet bowl lever is underneath the sink counter so you have to reach around the toilet to flush. I stayed 4 nights, opted for no housekeeping one day however on the other days my shampoo, conditioner and lotions weren't restocked. I did like getting the VIP guest of the day with candies and wine though!

Convenient location right at the heart of downtown. Right next to Circle Centre Mall and Monument Circle was visible out the window. Clean rooms and employees were friendly and helpful. Parking garage was connected and easy to access. Was able to leave the car in its spot until 7 PM the day I checked out. Didn't try the hotel restaurant, but was glad it was there and serving food late.

Good stay. Bed was comfy, large TV, food good. Elevators worked fine. Nice front desk staff. Definitely a good value for what I paid.

Room was fine, location was great. We were easily able to walk everywhere. All 4 elevators broke down the day we checked in. We had to take the service elevator to our room. They only had one elevator working the next morning so we took the stairs down 9 floors to check out.

Good location right by the city center statue. Friendly front desk. Probably elevator issues because it took forever to get down waiting for people and stopped at every floor. Nice meeting rooms and staff.

Good hotel, great rates, great location. Everytime I'm there something isn't 100%. Elevators, lobby, meeting areas, bar, etc always something seems a little off. Historic building and they are definitely upgrading it. Service is great. Ask for views of the monument!

This hotel has excellent front desk staff. Especially Tyler who gets five stars!. They were very helpful in allowing our bike's to be stored in a side room in front lobby. The room was clean and well set up on the club level floor in addition to the view of the statue in the circle. A roof top pool is nice on the 9th floor. The club lounge offered snacks, water and pop 24/7. The breakfast in the morning was nicely done with eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, pastries, and juices. Great location for downtown Indy. Near the white river park plus Accra to bike trails.

We are here to attend a course at Methodist Hospital and this was the recommended hotel. It was close and convenient to both that and downtown with lots of options to eat at in the evening after the course. The hotel itself is nice, you can tell it's older, but it has been updated and the rooms and beds are nice. Parking is kind of expensive, but convenient. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and the pool area is nice. The biggest issue is how noisy it is. It has been one of the noisiest hotels that I have ever stayed at. Every time a toilet flushes or someone takes a shower above, you can hear it. We are by the elevator and people were yelling in the hallway last night and doors slammed multiple times as late as 4 a. M. We could hear our neighbors fighting and watching TV. Outside, the traffic and construction sounds woke me up multiple times during the night, which I know they couldn't help.

I want to start out with the positives, because this hotel definitely has some. The staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean and in a great location. The beds are also very comfortable. The pool deck with views of the monument is very relaxing and gives with the feeling of having your own private roof top. Unfortunately, we had several problems to start the stay. We were told we could split the hold between cards upon check in when we made our reservation and then told we had to put it all on one card at check in. The water pressure for the shower is abysmal and I do mean abysmal. Borderline unusable. I was also less that impressed with the bottle of water sitting in our room with a $4 price tag on it. Come on Sheraton, you can provide free bottle water. That, or at least water not at 100% mark up and trying to basically what amounts to trick your customers into buying it. Overall, if I had to stay here again, I would be okay with it. That said, given a choice I would try something different.

This hotel was excellent. I felt like I could walk anywhere reasonably. The rooms were clean and modern. Very nice pool. Great place to stay for a fun night away or on business!

Always a great stay. This Sheraton is definitely a step above usual Sheraton. The location is great, and staff is always friendly. Getting a room facing the monument is the best. It's also worth paying for the extra upgrade to the club.

Perfect hotel for being at the heart of all the action! What a view! And a full Starbucks in the same building at street level? Awesome! Best place to stay for 4th of July fireworks! The roof pool is killer! Recently renovated rooms, also. Spend the extra on a suite. As suites go, it's definitely worth the price. Will stay here again!

Excellent location! Very close to everything you could want to do in Indianapolis. The rooms were a bit small for the price. The elevators seemed like they hadn't been inspected in a long time. My overall experience was great, would recommend for big spenders.

The Sheraton is a perfectly adequate hotel. I have no complaints, although I also have no substantial praise. It is exactly what I expect, which is perfectly fine. You get a few free bottles of water, Wi-Fi costs extra, the bed isn't too bad, and the staff is friendly and stays out of the way. I will almost definitely stay there again.

We drove from new jersey to colorado and stopped here for a rest with our dog. Before coming we called and asked if they have a military discount the guy said no because its a weekend but if we give our credit card to book a room itll be cheaper I said no and showed up they said they can do military discount and we got in our room. After we left my wife lost her keys and we called 4 times asking jf we left our keys they said they will call back and they never did luckily she found it.

The room was nice and the lobby OK. The elevators seemed a bit dated but nothing too bad. Unfortunately we were there in February so the outdoor pool was closed. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable.

Room was nice. Weird toliet placement where you couldn't keep the seat up. Great city view. Very nice staff at front desk. Good location. Club room wasn't on top floor which is odd.

I don't ever want to stay here again. My husband took us here for a night because it was our birthdays. It was awful! They charge their guests just to park in their garage! On top of that, the beds were hard, continental breakfast required upgrading a package and their internet kept going out! Not only that, but every time we walked out the front entrance near CVS, we had people attempt to get money from us! Needless to say, I would stick with the Embassy Suites!

The hotel room as well as the view looking out over the soldier memorial was amazing, but the room itself was 80 degrees and the air conditioning was turned off for the winter, along with the window not able to be opened. It made it very difficult to sleep in the heat. The hotel did provide a box fan, in order to stay cool enough to sleep the fan needed to be on high making it now to loud in the room to sleep… just turn on the damn AC assholes.

Very nice looking hotel! … But the service was unbelievably ridiculous. Ordered two 30 dollar steaks, and was told that it would arrive within the next 30 mins. Waited literally an hour for our room service. When the food finally got to our room we noticed that there were several things that went wrong with our order. 1. Ordered a new castle… Got charged for a new castle… But I never recieved my new castle. 2. Ordered wings all in one sauce. Instead they gave us every sauce they had available… 3. Ordered two steaks which honestly looked very delicious!. Until I cut into them to realize that they were completely raw. I'm actually waiting in the lobby at the moment. I will not leave without a full refund. Especially since I've only been here for 5 hrs… If you're just looking for a nice looking place to stay for the night the go for it! But if you're like me… And you're paying for quality… I recommend going a few blocks down the road. There's an amazing hotel called the Marriott! It will satisfy all you wants and needs!

I reserved my room by phone and paid ahead of time. I had asked to reserve a king suite but when I go to check in the front desk tells me I was only makes down for a regular king room and they cannot fix it until tomorrow. So I take the hit and just deal with the regular room for the night. So I go up to room and what I see is what you would expect from a cheap 35$ a night run down motel you see in the movies. The ceiling is deteriorating with multiple large chunks missing from it and I can visibly see more ready to fall. I go into the bathroom and stand in wonder as I try to comprehend what was going through the mind of the person who decided the layout and size of the bathroom was a good idea. Why anyone put a towel drying rack IN the shower is beyond me. Or why they would shove the toilet halfway under the vanity sink… Despite all of these shortcomings I deal with the room because I am tired from traveling. Then I realize that the wall/door to hallway (that the entire floor shares) is so paper thin that I have absolutely no problem understanding the conversations of passers-by. It's almost comical. For the price that I paid, I would have expected much better…

The location is nice and the bed was comfortable. However, I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they absolutely have to stay on monument circle and they dont have a choice. Check in is at 4 pm, and when we got there at 6:30 pm our room was not ready. They put us in a corner room to make up for the unavailability. Upgrade my bum. The bathroom was so tiny. The toilet was in the most awkward place. Face the mirror… Sink on left and right beside it is the toilet. Nestled in the corner and counter top. The TV picture quality was fuzzy, it took ages to flip through the channels, and the TV ended up not working before we checked out. This is the WORST hotel that I have been in when it comes to noise. I can hear whats going on in the hallway, the room across from us, and the one next door. Now this is not the hotel's fault except when it comes the sound proofing quality; it just added to the bad experience. I didnt appreciate being woken up at 7 in the morning by a child pitching a fit and the mother yelling at the child handling the situation poorly. This lasted a couple of hours. Overall, very disappointing experience especially for a hotel that supposedly boasts in a higher star rating.

Don't leave anything at the front desk if you are expecting it to get to a guest: I left a magazine with Gary at the front desk on Aug 14 at 7:40pm, with instructions to give it to Doug Jensen (who was staying at the hotel), upon checkout. He had a very early wake-up call so was asleep at the time. Doug texted me at 4am the next morning to say there was nothing at the front desk. I stopped by the front desk this afternoon and found the magazine sitting in a pile on the desk, after quite a bit of harried rummaging around by the day staff. I would never leave anything of value in this fashion, but it is reasonable to expect that this simple request could be fulfilled. Quite a service failure on their part.

The view from our room was amazing, that I'll admit. HOWEVER… I came home to Indiana to introduce my fiancé to my family, and we traveled First Class this trip thru the Midwest from the airline flight to the Hotels. Of all the Hotels we stayed in, Sheridan, Hilton, and Marriott, this one was the worst one. Walked in the lobby on arrival and was immediately hit by a strong vile odor. Opened the door to our room to have the great view of the room framed by curtains hanging askew because they had been torn off the rods and just left hanging there. (What kind of a first impression do you think this made?! ) the room smelled musty and felt dirty. My fiancé commented that I had taken him to Skid Row! However our flight got in at 2AM and we'd picked up our rental car so we're too tired to do anything about it. But the real kick in the seat was they CHARGED OUR CREDIT CARD $2000+ FOR A 2 NITE STAY! Thank God my fiancé is a nag about checking finances every single day or we might not have caught it… however it still took 4 DAYS and constant fighting with them to remove it! I had seen other posts on here that claimed the same thing, so I saw managements replies that problem had been fixed! NOT! This was the first stay on our journey and got it off to a really bad start.

Business trip so I didn't personally pay for the room and don't know the rate. Nicely equipped room with a comfortable, clean bed and bathroom. Good location and nice fitness room.

Pros: Location was great for the venue we attended. Room service and restaurant was open late. Comfy bed. Cons: hot water ran out within 5 minutes. Door had to be jerked open. Didn't feel like the "upgrade" I paid for was in the room. Expected a little more bang for my buck. Overall: stayed for the night. If you aren't planning on spending most of your time in the room then it's a good price for what you want. If you are in town for a few days on business I would look for a place that has a better set-up.

Nice rooms but the rest of the hotel needs some cosmetic work. Staff was very friendly and the food was average.

A/C unit is control by management. Room was 76° when I arrived last night. A fan was offered. Now its 82° in the room I've called guest services and they said there's nothing they can do for now until they turn on the building A/C unit.

Stayed here one night, and enjoyed it very much. The location is prime, right in the middle of downtown where you are walking distance from many things. You walking its very nice and clean, and has a Starbucks entrance in the lobby. The part I appreciated the most was having a room with comfortable beds, fridges in the rooms and power outlets everywhere you needed them. The staff was very nice and attentive, and I just appreciated the small little things since I stay in hotels often. Didnt eat/park here, so cant comment on the prices.

Tonight I went inside of the hotel to get out of the freezing cold as I am an IndyGo customer because my transfer didn't come for another 20 minutes and one of you employees was very rude with a group us and he told us to get out of his hotel, luckily I only had a few minutes to wait before my transfer came, if I ever got frostbite, I will send you guys my medical bills because this is an overpriced piece of shit hotel I think.

We're currently staying here, and in brief I'll say that we would not stay again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. The hotel did get a couple of things right, and they're important things. Unfortunately, the bad far outweigh the good. The good: The rooms are clean, warm, and the decor is beautiful. The bad: We've stayed at a lot of hotels, and this is certainly the scammiest of any we've ever been in. 1: parking. They charge $25 for 1 night in the garage. Compare that to the Embassy Suites nearby, which does not charge anything for guest parking. If you drive a vehicle like an suv, avoid this place. The ceiling is extremely low, and I was afraid the roof was going to scrape. The cost for parking is, again, ridiculous. You're already paying $200 for a night here. 2: beds are like sleeping on a rock. I couldn't get any sleep. What's more is that the walls are paper thin, so you can hear every sound in the hotel all night. We were treated to several hours of porn from a nearby room. 3: cable package is deplorable. I've gotten more stations at a $30 roadside motel. The channels you do have constantly cut out, or are fuzzy. We eventually just switched on Netflix on my laptop. 4: No complimentary breakfast? Seriously terrible. What hotel doesn't serve at least some kind of free breakfast? I'll use Embassy Suites as an example, again. They're comparable in price and location. They serve a full range of breakfast at no extra cost.

I really had an awesome stay (except the pool was so cold. Why is it not heated? ), until I looked at my bank account. This hotel put a hold on my account for the amount of the stay, which was fine. But then they charged me after we checked out for the total with the hold still on there. So my bank account reflects that I am being charged twice until the hold goes away! So thanks Sheraton, for screwing me over, and leaving my bank account with little money. The hold should come off the second after you charge me, not three days later (IF it comes off today! )! SOOO if you want to stay here, make sure you have enough plus some for your bank account to reflect double for a week after.

This place was just fine. Nothing amazing but they provided a clean room and good service. Convenient on-site parking.

Parking is $25 per night, a little too pricey for that area but at least it does have in/out privileges. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops but for downtown area, it doesn't offer much. I did enjoy our room's view very much though. I was upgraded to their top floor so that was a huge bonus. Oh, and if you decide to stay here, be sure to ask for the rooms facing south because the view just overlooks the city center and its great! Amenities aren't that great but they do have a Starbucks in the hotel. Lobby is quite small but reps were pleasant.

My husband booked a room here for my birthday. We had a view of the circle. We had dinner and saw a movie downtown before walkign back to our room. We didn't take advantage of any of the hotel amenities — just enjoyed relazing in our room and sleeping in the next day. The bed was comfortable, our room was nice, and we loved the view of the circle.

DONT WORRY KELLY; I'm posting another review in the am in more depth. And the so called gm that allowed you to call the police on a 13 year old and her mother for asking for a tour of the hotel; should be fired as well. Tonight was a sure indication that you've displayed this behavior before; your racism is a part of an even bigger culture;. As I was not hostile in any way. Your intelligence level and your level of communication, suggest you are in the wrong business. How dare you discuss and laught with another guest about your very inappropriate behavior. The police suggested I contact upper management and I plan on it. I pray you're both removed from your post; you met the right advocate for racial profiling. AND CANCEL THE RESERVATIONS; you are the worst two human beings I've met in person.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights for the NRA show and while at the show an employee that works for the Sheraton stole $100 cash and a bottle of scotch from my room after they went through my suitcase. After complaining to the front desk and even to a manager I was offered "FREE BREAKFAST" for the next morning and told that they would check into in and get back to me. I've been gone now for two days and still haven't heard anything regarding this. Tolerating this is unacceptable, they didn't care that their employees stole anything, almost as though I was lying. I will keep posting on every sight until someone pays attention. My husband works for Frontier Airlines and this hotel is their crew hotel, there's lots of money to be lost by this hotel and they don't even care.
