From when I stepped up to counter, Donna greeted me with a smile, Jerri (G. M. ) assisted with completed reservation by Welcoming me and making me feel like home. Robin was Great in the morning and wished were here on personal time verses work. Owners seem to take pride in this hotel and staff seems very happy.

This hotel was pretty great! For the price it had what we needed, a few things I wouldn't say I needed (cable TV, fitness center, pool, etc) but the staff was very nice and the room was great! Very close to town center, close enough for a couple of places to deliver. Free breakfast (ends at 10 on the weekends, 9 on the weekdays, this is important) and they give you a little paper with all the nearby restaurants and things to do. Very nice place for a good price, would recommend.

I was quite pleased with my stay at Best Western. My room, and the hotel itself, were exceptionally clean. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered plenty of variety and was tasty. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Loved our stay. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was amazing. King size bed, super comfy! the free breakfast was the best free hotel breakfast I have ever had! it is located just 3 minutes from the casino and minutes from any of the other activities in town. The pool is a little small but it is heated and clean. Really enjoyed our stay we will definitely be back.

The hotel was fabulous. The beds are so comfy, the staff was great. We did bot use the pool, but it would be nice if there was a patio area you could use to get some sun after being in the pool.

Clean hotel in a beautiful, quiet location. Very accomodating. We were able to get two pack n plays for our babies! Would stay here again if we pass through the area.

We got a 2 queen bed room. Nice room with fridge and microwave. We had a bathtub which is always better than a shower only. Not sure if all the rooms have a tub or not. They also have what looks like a nice product choice for the free hotel amenities (shampoo, wash, etc. ) We didn't use any since we bring our own, but they were still nice and in cute bottles. Easy cooling & heating system in the room. Desk with a chair. Several lamps for light but needed a ceiling light. Nice free breakfast in the morning. Some of the food was more "processed" tasting, not so tasty as "real" food. And some of it was fine. Overall decent food, with a decent selection of both hot and cold food. The ladies working in the kitchen, and bringing out the food, stood and watched the guests a little too much. Especially the one lady. It made a lot of guests feel uncomfortable like they thought we would do something we shouldn't or eat too much food. But they were both very nice when they would talk to guests, and would smile and were friendly. Clean little dining area to eat in, the shelving needed more decorations though. They were mostly bare. They have a little food, drink, and necessities type shop next to the front desk. Which was very handy and nice. They accepted cash and card. The indoor pool area wasn't huge but was decent size. Up to 5' deep pool. With some beach chairs with side tables and two regular sized tables with chairs. Handicap accessible as well.

Always friendly & there if you need help. Enjoy my stay every time! I just love the king bed! Best sleep ever!

The Best Western Plus hotel in French Lick, IN is by far a top notch hotel! It's clean, has several amenities but the staff is exceptional! Especially Robin and Rosie who take care of the morning breakfast bar! I was not disappointed and am looking forward to going back!

Location, staff and appearance was exceptional. First morning breakfast was fresh and hot even though we made it right before it closed. Next morning it was fresh just not as hot as the morning before.

This was such a nice hotel and very clean! The rooms were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was better than we could have imagined! Very welcoming staff as well! Highly recommend!

Our stay was very nice and the rates were reasonable. My only issue was the breakfast lady. Although she was very personable and sweet, she had on so much perfume that it ruined my breakfast. Every bite I took tasted like cologne. A lot of people nowadays, myself included, have asthma, allergies, and lung diseases. I wish people would recognize this and not bathe in colognes and perfumes.

This place is absolutely the most spotless lodging I have ever stayed at as well as the small town it sits in. The room is huge and everything is perfect! The check in was truly a warm welcome.

The location was excellent! Service & cleanliness was top notch. Breakfast options for each day were posted and enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable and the room size pleasant. One of the best long weekend hotel stays we have had!

This hotel is ideally placed close to town. It includes a complimentary hot breakfast with each nights stay. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure the guests have an excellent stay and are well taken care of. By joining Best Westerns rewards program we received a discount on our stay. This was a surprisingly good experience. The room was very clean, the HVAC system worked well, the facilities were nice, and the breakfast was fine. The night we stayed, there were no vacancies, but the hotel didn't feel crowded. We would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at this hotel before. It gives a really good rate for a pretty good stay, good rooms, and a wonderful breakfast. The 1st stay was great and everything was clean and in order, but this time, my 5 year old found a pill next to the night stand and bed and almonds under the bed skirt and my husband found an almond in our bed. The pill was found the night before we left so we didn't report it until we checked out and the almonds we let slide. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. People are friendly and service was good. We understand that sometimes that everything isn't perfect. Just thankful our kids are ok.

Very good stay. Just about half the price of the resort. Rooms are essentially new and extremely clean. Bed is comfy. Towels and sheets are fine. Rooms are relatively plain. Hotel is just outside of town. Breakfast was on the high end of a standard "free" breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you are on vacation, the resort hotels are beautiful. But if you just need a place to stay, you can save a LOT of money and be perfectly happy at the BW.

Location was convenient. Breakfast was good. Better than most continental breakfasts. Had a good variety of choices. The rooms were nice and clean. The pool was a little small but still nice. Do wish though they had a hot tub. Overall it was great and I will return if I go back to French Lick.

This was hands-down, one of the nicest BW hotels, I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was amazing… courteous and professional! The room and the entire hotel was well maintained and clean. The front desk staff, was great, as was the breakfast serving staff. I would definitely stay here again!

Every staff person was happy and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was large. The bed was too high off the floor, but very comfortable. We were here with a large group and they had all our rooms ready when we arrived so our guide was able to hand out our keys immediately. I would stay here again if in the area.

The Hotel was very clean and modern. Our family enjoyed extra amenities like the pool and the breakfast, both areas were clean and satisfying. The staff was helpful too. I would defiantly stay at this hotel again and suggest it to friends.

Staff when we arrived was horrible! Because I didn't want what looked like a dumpster (was actually their power transformer) directly outside my window, we ended up with a room that had 2 double beds instead of the king we paid for. The beds are horrendous. My husband and I both could barely even get out of bed in the morning because of being so horribly sore. In the middle of summer the air should be on if a room is going to be rented out for the night. However neither room had the air on. Thankfully we had a meeting to go to right away instead of sitting in the room waiting for it to cool down. The lady who checked us in was awful! She literally screamed at me about what looked like a dumpster! Yet if you were obviously her age or older she was polite and smiling. We will never stay at the Best Western again!

May 30th (Tuesday) we stopped approximately 4pm to stay the night in French lick when we tried to check in the desk clerk refused us because we only carried cash. She demand a credit card from us. I offered my debt card and drivers license to hold until we checked out I even offer to pay a deposit down and could return it to me after the room was cleaned or inspected. I am so glad I didn't have my grandkids with me we would have had no where to stay I have stayed at many hotels and this is the first one that has ever refused me! My parents are in their 70s and don't even have a debit card they just have cash. I will never recommend anyone to stay at this best western I called corporate office in Arizona today! I'm very disappointed!

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel given the affordable price. The Hotel is very clean and decorated nicely. There is an area with a counter top, shelves and cabinets with a coffee maker and refrigerator that makes storing snacks and drinks much easier than other hotel rooms. The staff is very professional and is always available for you. Our housekeeper Amy kept the room clean and was a joy to talk to. The breakfast menu offered is nicer than other breakfast buffets. I recommend this hotel.

Room was nice, lobby was beautiful. Pool was small but nice. Shuttle service was not running which was disappointing. Breakfast was acceptable. Overall a decent stay for the price, although I was frustrated to see my room had a shower only which I did not realize when I booked my stay … bring 8 months pregnant I was expecting a full bath tub and was quite unhappy with this. Definitely brought down my overall satisfaction with my stay!

Beautiful room decor. The entire hotel was very modern and upgraded. The staff was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed to make our stay more joyous. One of the nicest hotels in the area. I love the cleanliness of the hotel, lobby, and the rooms. The breakfast was just enjoyable. I love the shuttle attraction that can take you to the restaurants and anywhere else you need to go in French Lick.

My boyfriend and I spent 3 nights at this Best Western for our anniversary and although it isn't as grand and luxurious as the French Lick Resort, it was a wonderful stay. The room was clean, and the staff was the friendliest I've ever seen at a hotel. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety and always fresh. The location of this hotel was a plus for us, too. It's probably less than a mile away from the casino. It was also easy to get to the caves and the other parks we wanted to visit from the hotel. There is a small theater right next to it, which was really convenient. We enjoyed a screening of Beauty and the Beast before heading back to our room our first night there. Lastly, the bed was extremely comfortable. I've stayed in many hotels before and this was certainly the most comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in french lick while on a budget.

One of the best experiences I've had with a hotel. The staff was amazing going out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. We have a 2 and 4 yo which makes our timing terrible. They actually went out of there way to make sure our room was perfect each day, coming back multiple times to do so. Only bad experience was in the pool where a white trash family had no respect for the others in it. Running jumping falling diving etc… WIth 2 parents that said absolutely nothing. They actually hit my 2 yo son in the eye with a Frisbee which I handled. I took my family back to the room and came back which the hotel is at no way in fault! I will never choose another hotel in this area.! Do yourself a favor and stay here!

I stayed two nights at the French Lick Best Western Plus and was VERY pleased. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was kind and very nice in every way. A lady named Donna was working at the front desk. She was very sweet and helpful. Gwen was over the breakfast and did an outstanding job. She fixed a breakfast that was absolutely delicious. All kinds of hot food. She has a great personality and creates an atmosphere where eating is delightful. I had a great stay and strongly recommend you try this hotel.

This hotel is new everything was clean and comfortable and the beds were so comfy I slept really well. The rooms are big with plenty of space the breakfast is great. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nice quiet comfy place to stay period We felt very safe here.

We arrived an hour after check in but our room wasn't ready yet and we were told it was going to be at least another hour for any king room to be ready. They ended up giving us a double bed room since we didn't want to wait. The room was very nice though so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. In the morning the waffle mix machine was giving watery sauce and my boyfriend had to help them fix it because the workers were having trouble with it. The rest of the breakfast was good.

I delivered a pizza there. Pretty nice place, friendly staff.

I would like to take this moment to say what a great place this is to stay, even though it's in the middle of nowhere. Our group of 13 bikers, Fox River Hog group stayed overnight while on our easy home from what we called out Bluegrass Ride from Saint Charles, IL down to Paducah, KY over to Nashville, TN then up through French Lick, IN and home. This was buy far the best hotel we stayed in. Clean, comfortable and very friendly. I can not day thank you to Summer the manager for getting us some alcoholic beverages before our stay. You rock!

The place was great. The desk receptionist was very friendly and had no problem getting us more towels when we asked.

Rooms clean, breakfast was nothing to write home about. Reservation was incorrect, price is high, but not for the area.

We stayed at this hotel the night before and the night of Thanksgiving. The room was excellent. Somehow, by mistake, we were given a king suite instead of just a king room so we got way more than we bargained for. The hotel is only about 6 months old so everything was in great shape. French Lick was a great place to spend Thanksgiving. Here are my only complaints, we had a kitchen in our suite and while there was everything you would need in a kitchen (all utensils, pots and pans, dishes) there were no napkins or paper towels and there needed to be a bigger garbage can. Otherwise I highly recommend staying at this Best Western. 2 thumbs up!
