I’m shocked that this hotel has a 3.9 rating. Who on earth would give this place a positive rating? Could it be the prostitutes that were in and out all day and night? Did you give a 5 star rating because they sell condoms in the vending machine? The Health Department should shut this place down. It is the most disgusting dump I have ever stayed in. It would have been cleaner to sleep on the ground outside! Several of our friends that were booked at the hotel were lucky enough to find vacancies at other nearby hotels and checked out as soon as they saw their rooms. We were not as lucky. I had to go out and buy my own cleaning products to clean our room. We had to move rooms because the first room smelled so badly of smoke you wanted to puke! Every square inch of this hotel is covered with grime! They don’t clean a square inch of it! We hung out in the lobby a lot because our rooms were so gross. But even the lobby is disgusting. Pool and hot tub are closed because they are broke, but they are telling everyone it’s shut down due to Covid. We overheard how the Health Department is forcing them to spray each week for the infestations and they are now required to wash the bedding and towels. Wow! You didn’t do this before? I totally believe that to be true! They left breakfast burritos in the warmer all day and throughout the night and just serve them again in the morning. There were also complaints of sewage was backing up into the showers.

BED BUGS in this hotel! You have been warned. Management and BW aren’t handling this very swiftly. I’m sure someone has already stayed in room 211 (a king suite) after I left. I was ate up literally over three days. At first I disregarded them as just a mosquito but then on my way home, after getting confirmation they were bed bugs, I tried to reach the local hotel. Kept getting no answer. Now just called BW corporate back and she said the ticket never got to the hotel! Yes this is how they handle bed bugs. So for 3 days now this room has set with bed bugs. I still am waiting on a FULL REFUND and compensation for my luggage, I obviously can’t just throw in my dryer. For someone who travels and stays in hotels 3-4 days a week, I have NEVER had to deal with bed bugs. I have lost sleep and acquired PTSD all because of this. I will update this as the situation unfolds but as of now, I would stay far away. I already booked all my future stays somewhere else! ****Update from a very cocky manager named Travis*** who has NO explanation of why I have multiple bites on me with a doctors note saying that is what they are… Travis had Orkin come out and they found no bugs at all. I find this VERY false considering Orkin didn’t even come in until today but somehow he did a very “throughout investigation” per Travis. Basically calling me a liar. But that’s ok, I travel every week and I work for one of the largest employers who uses hotels in the town.

I am absolutely appalled about my family and friends stay at this hotel. From the kids having to eat on nasty filthy floors, to having 2 strange men get access to the room, to charging peoples accounts multiple times, I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to stay here. The 2 employees that were basically useless should be fired. Not only for their actions but for basically threatening a guest IN FRONT OF MY NIECE AND NEPHEWS PLUS MANY OTHER CHILDREN, and ALSO putting her hands on my friend. Not to mention the mold infested bathrooms and disgusting dirty blood stained holy sheets! Wow I am in complete shock a business could run like this and be open. I am calling the Indiana state health department. This is ridiculous. David Kong, you need to check your Hotels! I doubt you would appreciate your family staying at a health hazard place. Bruce Wienberg your customer quality job should be non existent!

You should take the advertisement for the pool and hot tub off, since it is never open. Very disappointed in the fact it was closed when we were there. The main reason we chose your establishment.

We stayed at this facility March 2nd the pool was closed when we arrived so we had upset kids. On March 3rd we got woke up bright and early to water pouring out of the bathroom ceiling so our room was not usable and it cuz our stay short… it's now April 4th and we are still waiting on our refund that we have been told we will be getting… and you can never get ahold of the manager!

Did not tell us before checking in that the hot tub was closed! Highly disappointed!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Upon check in at 4pm the lady said the pool was closed but would be open in an hour. 4 hours later I was on the phone with hotels. Com trying to get my $ back to go to a different hotel so the kids could swim. Hotels. Com proceeded to contact Best Western and they opened the pool then but when we went down it was wo cloudy u couldnt see 6 inches in the water and so cold I cant believe it wasn't frozen. Come to find out from other guests staying here they said it had been closed all week they were here and other reviews elsewhere said they were closed dating back months. Oh and I got in my room to find NO handsoap, body soap, shampoo, conditioner or tissues. What a joke and now I have 4 dissappointed kids.

This was the worst experience of the Best Western Plus hotel chain I have had. They messed up my reservation, took forever to get us checked in, the breakfast was cold and below their usual standards and the check in crew didn't seem to know what they were doing. It took three people thirty minutes to check us in. These are typically outstanding hotels with more than just a continental breakfast. I would not advise staying at this particular hotel until they get their act together.

The night manager Teresa Pratt makes this hotel fantastic. Her hospitality skills are tops. The rooms are clean & comfortable with refrigerator, microwave and vent fan in the bathroom. Strangely other higher priced hotels don't seem to feel these amenities are necessary. Great place to stay with grear amenities and reasonable prices.

This hotel is small and cute. You are greeted with couches and a fireplace and a carpeted wooden Staircase. Rooms are small but beds are comfortable. The place is clean and the breakfast is to die for. The best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel, and I have stayed at a lot of hotels! Teresa at the front desk went about and beyond to solve a pool problem of rowdy, unsupervised kids. The pool is small jacuzzi is warm and so is the pool. Only reason I gave them a 4 is because the pool had way too much chlorine. My black shorts are now brown. Great experience in fort wayne though! Would do it again.

This would be a nice place if you do not have to use an accessible room, but the bathroom we had did NOT meet ADA standards, with a too low toilet and impossible to draw a wheelchair next to the toilet. Paramedics were called to assist my husband and, because of limited space, it took them about 45 minutes to accomplish the task. There was no room to move.

Very nice place to stay in Ft Wayne. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were great. Breakfast was quite good. The staff was very pleasant and seemed to really care. Not an easy thing to do these days. I recommend this hotel highly.

Very clean and organized hotel, the staff was very helpful. Even though it was full everyone was very professional. The only downside was the pool area could have been cleaner, but overall it was a great experience.

Very clean, Quiet place to stay in Fort Wayne. In 5 years of staying at this hotel we have never encountered any problems. Everyone is friendly. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a nice lobby and places to sit and relax as well as computers to use if needed. The indoor pool is very nice and well kept. Overall a great experience.

Nice place to stay. Clean, friendly staff, good amenities such as AC, heat, fridge, microwave, hair dryer and iron with 2 TV's and desk. Plenty of space and like the entry room with fold out sofa. Recommend and would stay again.

The Jacuzzi tub was struggle to fit me a my boyfriend but we managed. Other than wishing the tub was a little bigger the overall experience was Great! I love best westerns.

Mattress like a cement slab. Killed my back. Hot tub dirty. Dirt floating on top. Disgusting. Small pillows. Had a 1 bedroom suite. Very small. Worst night of sleep. For $160 would have expected much better. Just when I thought all hope was lost breakfast was actually decent.

First I'll start my review off by saying my family and I enjoyed our experience and stay at Best Western Plus. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. We forgot a few personal items at home and the hotel was kind enough to provide us with complimentary replacements. They have a decent amount of parking. The building was a lot nicer in the inside, than the outside. They have an exercise room, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and vending machines. Our room came with two queen size beds, flat screen TV, microwave, and mini fridge. The inside and outside of the building was clean. The hotel was quiet. They provided the customer's of the hotel with breakfast. They had pastries, bacon, coffee, tea, juice, waffles, sausage gravy, eggs, apples, oranges, yogurt, biscuits, etc. It's a GFS across the street if you want to walk or drive to grab a quick bite. I would recommend this hotel if your funds were limited or if you have money in the bank.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was great! The pool was nice. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Definitely a nice stay for the price!

I often stay at Best Western Plus Hotels, but I have to say, this one is one of the nicest I've stayed in and the staff were wonderful, even helping my Mum with a medical emergency. Would highly recommend.

Best hot tub rooms I have ever stayed in! The staff was really, really nice even if the pictures they helped us take weren't that great. Breakfast was pretty good for hotel breakfast, except the sausage was a little too dry and salty. The lady in charge of breakfast was super helpful and kind though. The bath tub timer didn't count down but we didn't drain the water so that was probably for the best.

We had a pleasing experience at this hotel with helpful staff, and a clean and comfortable room. The king bed was very pleasant along with the pillows. The room was warm and quiet and both my wife and I had plenty of sleep. Give it an A.

Had a great stay. Last minute plan to stay there. Not only did they have a room available but the room we wanted. The king suite with hot tub, canopy bed and fireplace. It was beautiful. Very clean and staff was great. Randi the female night clerk was great and made us feel so welcome. She even called our room shortly after we got all settled in to make sure it was up to our expectations. Only think we didn't like was the shower. It had very low water pressure but that was it. Will definitely stay there again.

Presentation both outdoors and in was warm and receiving, with a helpful front desk reception. The pool was recently renovated but the hot tub was unbearably hot, with no option to alter the temperature. The room itself was nice enough, the shower/tub did not drain so we stood in our own shower water. The TV reception was spotty, and the bed was rather hard. The location in the city was very convenient however, right off both Lima Road and I-69.

Staff members were very accommodating when we needed late check-out. They also placed us away from other guests. Clean and comfortable. Very good rate. My only possible complaint is not getting a roll away crib immediately upon check in. We still got one soon after.

The location of this Best Western was convenient to major roads, intersections, and attractions. The front desk staff was friendly and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. Although I had requested an email to complete to express check-out, I never received one, but the desk process want a hassle. The pool is not heated and actually quite cold. Our kids played in it anyway but it wasn't that pleasant to spend a lot of time in. The room was clean and stocked with plenty of towels and the normal toiletries for a family of 4. We all slept great as the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast left a little to be desired but was acceptable for the overall price of the accommodation. When we return to Ft. Wayne we will definitely consider the Best Western again.

Good hot breakfast (I love Waffles! ), reasonable rates, clean rooms (great beds, maybe new carpet soonish), and exceptional staff made our short notice stay very pleasant. Did I mention great front desk staff? We had booked at a special rate, and they were gracious to see about extending it for us to add a second night. 1 note — I know it's not a major metropolis, but the option of (even a shared) airport shuttle would be a win for travelers. Thanks to the team for a great stay!

Hotel "upgraded" us to a room with the exact same amenities as the one we reserved 6 weeks in advance but with 1 bed instead of 2. Was told to use the pull out sofa for the 2nd guest, which was not an option because the 1 inch mattress would not accommodate a human for sleeping comfortably at all. Hotel clerk said I only reserved for 1 person and since they were sold out they changed my room without trying to make any contact with me. I checked my reservation and it clearly said 2 guests. I tries to contact a hotel manager next business day to discuss and was told I would receive a call back that day, which I did not. Not the type of service I would expect so I probably won't go back.

The location was convenient. We stayed just one night for a wedding we were attending. The room was clean and the service was good. It was nice that they offered complimentary items since one of us forgot his toothbrush and toothpaste. Would stay again.

This Best Western was very nice and well kept. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was very good. It was near a lot of businesses, but not on a busy road. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting Fort Wayne again.

There isn't anything notable about staying here, which you can consider a positive. Minimal interaction (or need to) with staff was pleasant. Rooms and other facilities well kept. Beds comfortable. Room climate control not noisy, which is a typical complaint elsewhere. Pool small and cold. All in all an adequate place for the price.

We had made our reservation for a one night stay a week in advance. We had chosen this hotel mainly for the indoor pool and suite option. Upon arrival, there was a sign posted on the desk that stated the pool was closed for renovations. When I had asked the desk staff about this, I was informed that I had been called around 8 that same morning and told of this. Given that we came from out of town, I did not obviously get that message. I could understand if it was closed temporarily for cleaning, but closed for awhile for renovations? Those are planned in advance. I cancelled my reservation and had to scurry to find another hotel. Looking for a hotel in Fort Wayne? Try the Hilton Garden Inn. It'll be a long while before we look into any Best Western hotels.

We loved it! Check in was very quick, by far the best of any place we have ever stayed at before. Assistant General Manager Terria explained everything and told us if we had ANY problems to let them know and they would take care of it. The breakfast was AWESOME!

Located near a ton of shopping and food, easy on-off for the highway, and a quiet place to get a good night's sleep. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful. And EVERYONE on the staff was a dog person — made my pooch feel super welcome. Would absolutely stay again!

I stayed there overnight with some friends after attending a social event. The beds were decent, but the pillows were a little lumpy. Other than that, the accommodations were nice and the breakfast in the morning was good.

Very disappointed. Paid a lot of money for the family suite and we were so disappointed and upset when we got into our room. Dirty floors, dirty mirrors, no toilet paper, no pillows on bed & hair in sink as well as the bath tub! No canopy bed like mentioned either. Fireplace was broken too! Also tell description says Wet Bar there was no wet bar. The pool is very small and there were ants all over inside pool room, covering our shoes! Thats probably because of the chewed up gum stuck on the floor. Gross. Not a nice place : — (

Nice place overall, clean everywhere, comfortable furniture, large well laid out rooms, friendly helpful staff, wide selection of tasty breakfast items, family enjoyed pool and hot tub very much. We have stayed at this same location multiple times.

This hotel is wonderful! The rooms are very nice and clean. The pool is extremely warm and I love the hot tub. I have stayed hree twice now for Christmas with part of my family and the rooms are large enough for us to comfortably have Christmas and eat a meal. The breakfast is great with tons of good options.

Great first impression — lobby was very clean and well kept, staff were very friendly. I was incredibly disappointed to learn that the pool was drained for repairs since we brought four 8 year old girls for a birthday party but they were truly sorry (even offering a discount) and there are just some things a hotel cannot control. We had a suite which was nice and spacious. I was very happy to see that the cleanliness extended from the lobby into the hallways and rooms. Overall a great experience with the staff and the accommodations. We will stay here again.

Very nice. We got a good rate from tripadvior for a king suite. Very roomy, although the bathroom is a little small. Good Wi-Fi connection, and a good free breakfast. Would stay here again. If you're in the room around 12:00pm — 2:00pm that's when house keeping goes and cleans the rooms around yours. They are very loud and slamming doors.

My first impression as I walked in the door was how warm and inviting it looked coming in out of the snow storm we'd driven through. There was a fire going and fresh cookies waiting. The staff have all been incredibly helpful and take an obvious pride in making sure guests are happy. We stayed in a King Suite because I'm working this week and there is a door that closes between the sitting room and the bedroom so I can tune out my 4 year old. Entering the room I was excited that it smelled of the wood of the furniture, which seems brand new. No trace of the chemical air freshener that most hotel rooms reek of. The room is clean and the carpet doesn't have that ick factor that most do. I'm ok in my bare feet and letting my 4 year old play on the floor. The blankets and sheets were pristine, including the comforter. Now, I don't expect a place to be perfect and have zero issues. Rather, I tend to look at how issues are handled. I reported a couple of very minor things not working optimally in the room and I hadn't even settled in the room when the maintenance man was at the door. He listened to me and then completely fixed both issues very quickly. Brilliant! We used the indoor pool last night as well. I could smell the chemicals but wasn't bothered by them later so I take that as a good sign. They weren't too cheap to put them in but they weren't overpowering, either.
