Really enjoyed the stay! Not bad pricing if you are there for short period. Loved that they had movies at the desk for free.

We had a wonderful time, held our wedding and Reception in the event room, had it not been for the young lady wanting to run us out an hour early it would have been perfect.

Very clean and quiet. Good breakfast and good value.

Awesome rooms nice quiet town. Water park on a lake ($7 per person) was our reason for staying.

Would not allow me to rate zero stars. Had to cancel reservations because business plans changed. Charged $190 for 2 rooms that were canceled same day of reservation. Make sure you are staying, or you'll pay. So much for small town hospitality.

This is an interesting hotel. There are no elevators. But it's pretty good. There are DVD players in each room and free DVDs you can borrow from the front desk. Bed was very comfortable.

Clean, comfortable place to stay for a locally owned hotel. Comfortable beds, but the plastic (? ) mattress cover has to go. Woke up several times drenched in sweat due to that mattress cover. No pool, and NO elevator. Overall, just a place to sleep.

Room was clean and smelled clean as well. A couple small problems like the door is hard to close and the shower doesn't drain and the maid *stuffed all my things back into my suitcase and hid it* even though none of it was in the way.

We were coming to Indiana for an event in Indianapolis, but wanted to stay near a friend in Berne. Options were slim, but the Clock Tower Inn looked promising and we took a chance. Small town hotel/motels are always a chance. Reviews are ify at best. I can honestly say I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The building is very well kept and secure. The staff was so very very friendly and prompt. On the day of our check-out we mad it three miles down the road before receiving a …call letting us know we had left items in out room. That right there is phenomenal. The staff definitely saved me a shipping cost (we're from Michigan) and the heartbreak on my kids faces when they learned I had borrowed their favorite blanket and then forgot it. The room was very clean, including the bathroom.
The bed was comfortable and all three of us slept very well both nights. The area is quiet despite being on the main drag into town proper and the hotel itself was quiet as well. There were maybe eight other cars in the parking lot during out stay. Basically… We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend The Clock Tower Inn and Berne as a pass through. Thank you for the hospitality.

Place is neat and clean. Nice rooms. We had a couple of light bulbs out. I went and got a couple from front desk the second night a replaced them. Breakfast Choices great! Front desk staff very nice and friendly, especially the late afternoon and evening staff.

A special Thank You to the Clock Tower Inn for the hospitality extended to the Indiana Master Naturalists who stayed here in October 2017 while attending the state Gathering in Geneva. It was a pleasure for Limberlost State Historic Site to recommend the Clock Tower Inn.

I was there for an extended stay. Working until after midnight every night of my stay then coming here to sleep. Second night I was awaken for fire alarms going off, third morning of my stay I was awaken so an employee could put a new phone book in my room. The fire alarm was due to not cleaning room heaters prior to the fall season and phone book could have waited until after I left. I had my do not disturb sign in key slot and employee still tried coming in my room with their key. Not impressed.

Very clean! Friendly staff, nice spaceous room, comfy beds. Overall very nice place to stay!

Not a 5 star hotel but I'm giving it 5 stars for cleanliness, comfort and service! This is a really nice hotel to stay at when in the area. Bed was really comfortable and super clean and the staff was very friendly. If paying with a debit card, you will have to leave $200 for incidentals that will be held for up to 5 days.

I miss Ernie being there staff was a lot friendly. Hotel is still very nice but it's lease work on being friendlier!

This place is terrible! Held my cash deposit for a month and a half then acted like I lost it! When they figured out it was an error on their end no apology. One person in our group was told that her baby needed to quit crying inside her room at 6pm. How do you tell a baby to quit crying. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had!

This place never sent me my $200 deposit check in the mail like they were supposed to! Been waiting for a month now. Do not go here if you want an easy stay. You're better off traveling a little bit further for better service.

Its a great places for party s and they have a big nice sizs room for party s and family get togethers or wedding party s or baby showers or even graduation partys and the big room has a kichen and like 35 tables.

We come here once a year to stay. After the motel was purchased a few years ago it was remodeled and turned into a great place to stay. Everything was clean and neat with professional courteous service. This year it is obvious something has changed. The building is beginning to show wear and tear. The room door frame paint is chipped from the cleaning staff carts. The pop machine doesn’t work so they have a dirty cooler in the lobby with some pop and water. The key card entry next to the main entrance works only some of the time. On the second morning we took showers about an hour apart. The shower started hot but turned cold before we were finished. I told the desk clerk about the cold water upon checkout but wasn’t even offered an apology. Both desk clerks I encountered were less than professionally dressed. It is sad, sad to see this motel go down hill.

Located on the north side of Berne Indiana, the 'Clock Tower Inn' was perfect for an overdue visit with a grade school buddy. (43 years! OMG! ) Quiet location, clean, comfortable room and accommodations made my three day stay quite relaxing. After a long day of grueling nostalgia conversations ;-) and visiting local historical sites, a hot shower and an extremely comfortable king sized bed was certainly a treat. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a darn good selection of some of my favorite morning goodies. OJ, coffee, breakfast sandwich (cheese & sausage) yogurt, bagels w/cream cheese and sausage gravy — biscuit had to last until dinner time because of the aforementioned 'grueling' day ahead. ;-) Berne Indiana, with its substantial Amish community, is a relaxing place to visit. Very low key if that is what one desires. I would definitely recommend the 'Clock Tower Inn', but don't wait 43 years! ;-)

The location of the hotel is very close to the event in which I am participating in. Continental breakfast is available daily for the guests. Housekeeping does a nice job cleaning up room and making beds. Most rooms have microwave, mini fridge, all rooms have coffee pot. Beds are pretty comfy. Some free movies to watch.

Staff was kind and helpful. Very clean.
