Was wonderful and beautiful very outstanding.

Loved the rooms! Clean. Comfy. Very updated.

This place didn't Have a pool no bath tubs rooms they were for handicap people they said. I Love baths the bar by the entrave door I was told to go to the far side bar and sit because the 1st bar was packed no seats. I went to the 2nd bar in the same place the white git was so rude he said we closed no explanation and a lady was sitting at the bar. So I went back to front desk where the people where givng out seats and told them them apologize but alot of people at the bar were not happy with the bar tenders there people on the elevator was talking badly about the bar as I was on my way to my room. Ladies at the bar were talking badly as well I didht like getting a bill for $50 no explanation what my drink cost as well I ordered the duck menu no duck because I'm vegetarian no cost what that was. They put a number on the bill I paid for it. The food was very spicy o told the lady Bartender on Saturday who took my order she didn't day anything she just pushed up both her shoulders as to say. Oh well I'll never recommend that bar or hotel.

Very friendly staff! Attended huge event and staff was amazing! No concerns and no issues! Loved the individual bathrooms. Nearby restaurants were a great treat as well!

Very nice and in a very convenient area to the city and downtown plus plenty of dinning options near by.

We’re at a national convention and they were out of towels all day and said they were unsure how long they’d be out of them. I think as large of property as they are, this is very unacceptable. Being solution oriented, you’d think they could have someone go to Walmart and Target and buy up more since it seems they’re under staffed and unable to get them cleaned in a timely manner.

I was on the 38th floor it was very quiet and theybwere very helpful.

The property has spacious rooms and Suites. The views are breathtaking. Great spot to do a over night for the Bears game. We were there with some of our guests for my Daughters wedding, it was off site but the schuttes did a great job getting our guests to the venue and back. Food availability at the hotel is very good. Staff was friendly, tentative and eager to accommodate, starting with the valet to the Porters. Definitely recommend.

Took my granddaughters there for stay over. We were going to see Hamilton, so I met them in Chicago for a "weekend of fun"
The staff couldn't have been more accomodating. They upgraded our room to the top floor suite. What a view!, They only negative was the cost of breakfast, a bit pricey. I thought Otherwise a great place to stay.

A hotel with excellent location. Their facilities are incredible I love all the staff very attentive and helpful, congrats and keep on going!

They have cockroaches and horrible customer service. … We booked a room with a wedding party and as soon as we open the door. The cockroaches started scattering. They were also in the bathroom. When we opened the toilet seat one of them fell in the toilet. Our wedding party that we were with also seen the cockroaches and one of them even ran down to the office to grab someone to show them the cockroaches. There was only one left by the time they got there. So they gave us another room and gave some of the other people another room too. We didnt sleep at all really the rest of the night. Plus we took all are clothes and put them in garbage bags and put everything in the car overnight. We went to the front deck in the morning to talk to management. And everthing went very well. They apologize and we excepted. Even know they didnt give us a discount or our money back for the room. They did tell us they would give us points to stay at another Marriott in which it still was not enough points for a free night. Just a small discount. Which we excepted. So we tried to book somewhere else with the points. So we called to book the room and use our points. Then we get told that they cant even find our points or even us in the system. So to make a long story short. We spent about 45 minutes on the phone explaining the same situation over and over again to other people in management at the Marriott. Tell we just decided to give up.

Beautiful rooms, wonderful bellhop and housekeeping staff. When I called asking for toothpaste and any toiletries not in the room as my luggage was lost by AA, I received a little gift bag w toothbrush, mouthwash, comb, shave kit delivered by such a very nice young man. Thank you for that little gesture!

Wonderful atmosphere, incredible staff, amazing accommodations, location location location.
For our time at Bears family fest this was the perfect place. Having high expectations is ok, they will outdo any expectations you will have. This is a true 5 star Marriot!

I would give the Marriott Marquis Chicago zero stars if I could. When I booked my room I asked for a feather free room as I’m allergic to feathers and my eyes swell shut when I’m near them. Upon entry to my room I could tell immediately that it wasn’t feather free, not the pillows or the comforter. It took three phone calls and 45 minutes later for housekeeping to switch out the pillows and comforter. The next morning I called room service to ask for a special made breakfast due to having severe Gastroparesis (paralysis of the stomach and I can’t digest ANY fat or fiber whatsoever) and was told they couldn’t do that, everything is already pre-made and I would have to order from the menu. Fine, I was running late for my conference so I skipped breakfast. Lunch at the conference was a complete disaster, they again served pre-made lunchmeat sandwiches which I can’t digest. All of the restaurants were closed and the only things available were pre-made meals from like Starbucks loaded with fat. When the conference adjourned I went to the concierge desk to inquire about a special made breakfast and was directed to speak to a manager. Manager says that they have two kitchens but the only one open in the morning is the pre-made breakfasts and they couldn’t accommodate me unless I waited until 7:30am my time and come down to the restaurant and speak with the manager on duty to have something made. NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Stayed here on our wedding night, got upgraded to a room with a beautiful view. We mentioned in passing the occasion to the employee checking us in and when we got back to our room at the end of the night found chocolate covered strawberries and a little bottle of champagne! It was such a lovely little touch. Hotel is beautiful and staff was generally wonderful.

Very modern hotel. The amenities were superb. Friendly and helpful staff! I felt this hotel was secure as they had staff by the entry doors when things got busy. I stayed here for the Toastmasters International conference. One thing I would like to suggest is that housekeepers pay more attention to detail and be a bit more thorough during the room maintenance. I only had housekeeping visit every 2nd to 3rd day (stayed here for a week) and they really didn't "clean" the room, just replenished and took the trash. Overall a really great experience and fantastic new hotel.

Absolutely top-shelf staff and service. Room was modern, clean, comfortable, and looked nearly new. Restaurant is good but typically pricey. Definitely check out the new food hall if you stop here. Great place.

Great hotel located adjacent to McCormick Place in Chicago. Covered walkways get you to/from the convention center and arena is bad weather. Very attentive staff and comfortable rooms. Great concierge lounge for elite rewards members and well equipped fitness facility. Only two negatives from my visit: for business Travers staying for longer periods for a convention, the closet and drawer space is lacking, three suits and two dress shirts filled the tiny closet. Second knock is the fact the property does not have a spa for spouses, they have to transport to a different hotel downtown.

The rooms themselves are nice and beautiful. Service in the hotel restaurant was EXTREMELY slow — although friendly, the restaurant staff needs better training and management. Very convenient location if you are having a conference at the McCormick Center. There are some food and entertainment options nearby, but not nearly the selection you can get in other Chicago neighborhoods. Make sure you know if you want convenience to your conference or convenience to entertainment. You can tell the area is developing though and could change in the future.

What a fantastic Marriott! I have stayed several Marriotts in the past and can honestly say that it’s variable as to the level of quality you will receive. This is the pinnacle of Marriott courtesy, service, polished aesthetic, and kindness. It is young hotel and they are still working on some things like the food court staff. However, I had the most incredible, kind, and accommodating Cleaning Lady and I have had in years without staying at a five-star hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are large and spacious with a very modern design. I attended a two day conference and the food was surprisingly good, healthy with a lot of variety. My only complaint is that the rooms were noisy. Maybe there are thin walls but I heard the guests in the rooms next to mine. There was extremely loud music blasting late into the night that the staff could not figure out where it was coming from. The hotel is a little far from the downtown area but it's located in a nice neighborhood with a nice view of the city.

This hotel is new & has been open for about a year. It is progressive, modern & a very nice facility. Unfortunately it is easy to find an employee who is even newer than the hotel. Trying to find out things can be an adventure and you have to ask multiple employees. Examples: where do I print my boarding pass or for an early check-in are there alternative rooms available? No one has been there 10 years. It will get better. Also I found the restaurant very slow. It is more efficient to eat in the food court between McCormack & the Hyatt.

Great hotel and wonderful staff! Hotel is connected to the conference center. Rooms were spacious and well updated. The concierge lounge is open 24 hours, and had amazing food and snacks. I stayed for 5 nights and the room was always clean and the front desk was always more than helpful.

Beautiful new hotel by the McCormick Center in Chicago. Rm 2917 has a beautiful view of the water with 2 double beds, small couch, desk, fridge, and coffee maker. Staff were helpful and cheery to talk to when I needed something. A bouquet of flowers from my husband were delivered to my room for me to enjoy throughout my week's stay. At end of week, the flowers were still beautiful so I gave the to the front staff and they wore them on their uniforms. It was great to see the flowers have a "second life" and didn't have to be trashed.

Check in was great! There was a considerable line at check in, yet it moved very quickly. The front desk agent was friendly and proficient. She offered tips on getting to our destinations within the city. The hotel wass clean, very modern and updated. Great city views! The bed was comfortable. The closet space was small, especially for two people staying several days. The bathroom was clean, modern and we'll stocked with thick towels. There were a few details missing from the room, like coffee cups and the cordless phone headset next to the bed, and a bit of dust on the base of the table, but nothing serious.

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are clean and very nice. The bathroom is everything you would expect from a Marriott Marquis. Being so close to McCormick is a blessing if you're at an event there. Good restaurants to eat at, highly recommended if you're at a conference and will be busy. If you're looking for a nice hotel to see the city from, go to a hotel further north, there aren't a lot of places in the area. But if you're at a conference and need a place to eat and sleep, it is the perfect hotel.

After a show in Germany where I stayed at the Marriott Frankfurt, I was looking forward experiencing the Marriott Marquis. Location for the show is great : the covered bridge to go to Mc Cormick is perfect, the distance from the show itself is perfect not too close to still be in the middle of the crowd, not too friendly to rush in the morning. Rooms with view over Lake Michigan are in line with the hotel positioning. Huge TV screen, lots of options etc… The lounge on the 4th floor is an ideal place for breakfast or after diner talks. I loved the 2 Charles Eames lounge chairs and all the decoration that goes with it. In summary I wish this hotel the best and hope that over here in Europe we can get inspiration. PS : great staff by the way from check-in to check-out strategic point.

I stayed at this hotel while in Chicago for the National Association of Realtors Global Conference & Expo. I love Marriot and wanted to be close to the Convention center. This is a new hotel and was happy to book it. The staff was super nice. The room was wonderful with large windows with a beautiful view. So far so good! Why is it that I have a 3* rating? There is one main reason to rate it low. I came with 2 suit jackets for the conference. Unfortunately one of my jackets got wrinkled and I wanted to have it pressed and cleaned for the next day. I called the concierge and used the overnight service with an extra service fee of $25. Delivery by 9:00 am the next day. I did not get it before I left the room the next morning but that was ok since I left early and well before 9:00am. However when I got back to my room at 4:00pm to get ready for an evening event at 6:00pm my jacket was not there. Ok no problem I figured, just called down and they will send it up! Not that easy. I called three times between 4:00 and 5:30. The first 2 times I was told we will ask the bell boy to find it and bring it up. No appologies or explanation of why it was not in my room already. On my 3rd call I was told there was no log of my first 2 calls and that she would try to find out was going on. No appolgies again. No one called me back, no one left a message about it either. I left for my event without a clean fresh jacket.

The drinks are awesome, but I’m not going to lie, I thought the bar staff could have been friendlier, and for as slow as it was. I’ve definitely had been better service elsewhere. I ordered the avocado fries and I asked how they were prepared, description, etc. I was told they were deep fried to be crispy. When they arrived they were battered and I have a gluten allergy. I know the place is new but the staff should know how the food is prepared. I’ll come back again and give them another chance.
